In recent years, researchers focused on introducing discrete type distributions which satisfy the necessary demand to model the complex performance of the real data sets. In this paper, a discrete inverted Kumaraswamy distribution, which is a discrete version of the continuous inverted Kumaraswamy distribution, is derived using the general approach of discretization of a continuous distribution. The new discrete inverted Kumaraswamy distribution can be applied efficiently in discrete lifetime and count data. Some important distributional and reliability properties of discrete inverted Kumaraswamy distribution such as hazard rate, moments, quantiles, order statistics and some transformations are obtained. Maximum likelihood and Bayesian approaches are applied under Type-II censored samples for estimating the parameters, survival, hazard rate and alternative hazard rate functions. Confidence and credible intervals for the parameters are obtained. A simulation study is carried out to illustrate the theoretical results of the maximum likelihood and Bayesian estimation. Finally, the performance of the new distribution is compared with some distributions using three real data sets to illustrate the suitability and flexibility of the proposed model. In this paper, the shape parameters, reliability and hazard rate functions of the inverted Kumaraswamy distribution are estimated using maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods based on dual generalized order statistics. The Bayes estimators are derived under the squared error loss function as a symmetric loss function and the linear-exponential loss function as an asymmetric loss function based on dual generalized order statistics. Confidence and credible intervals for the parameters, reliability and hazard rate functions are obtained. The accelerated life tests provide quick information on the life time distributions by testing materials or products at higher than basic conditional levels of stress such as pressure, high temperature, vibration, voltage or load to induce failures. In this paper, the acceleration model assumed is log linear model. Constant stress tests are discussed based on Type I and Type II censoring. The Kumaraswmay Weibull distribution is used. The estimators of the parameters, reliability, hazard rate functions and p-th percentile at normal condition, low stress, and high stress are obtained. In addition, credible intervals for parameters of the models are constructed. Optimum test plan are designed. In this article, a new generalized distribution named exponentiated inverted Topp-Leone distribution is introduced and some of its properties are presented. Some models of stress strength, quantile, moments, R𝑒́nyi entropy and order statistics are discussed. The relation between exponentiated inverted Topp-Leone distribution and other distributions are derived. The maximum likelihood and Bayes estimators for the parameters, the reliability and hazard rate functions of the exponentiated inverted Topp-Leone distribution based on Type II censored samples are obtained. A simulation study is performed to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed distribution. Finally, a real data set is analyzed to illustrate its flexibility for real-life application. In this paper inverted Kumaraswamy distribution is introduced. Some of its properties are presented through, some models of stress strength, measures of central tendency and dispersion and order statistics. Some sub-models, limiting distributions and the relation between inverted Kumaraswamy and other distributions are derived. The maximum likelihood and Bayes estimators, confidence intervals for the parameters, the reliability and the hazard rate functions of the inverted Kumaraswamy distribution based on Type II censored samples are obtained.
