Bu çalışmanın konusu Adnan Menderes Dönemi(1950-1960) Türkiye-Suriye ilişkileridir. İlk çağlardan itibaren birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapan Suriye, İslam hâkimiyetinden sonra Sultan Alparslan döneminde Türklerin egemenliğine girmiştir. Suriye, Yavuz Sultan Selim döneminden Birinci Dünya Savaşı'na kadar da Osmanlı hâkimiyeti altında kalmıştır. Tarihi, siyasi, kültürel, ekonomik, dini ve birçok alanda ortak geçmişe sahip olan Türkiye ile Suriye, Cumhuriyet döneminde Hatay Sorunundan dolayı karşı karşıya gelmiştir. İki ülke siyasetinde önemli bir yer tutan Hatay meselesi, 1939 yılında ana vatana tekrar katılmıştır. Hatay sorunu nedeniyle Adnan Menderes döneminde de Türkiye-Suriye ilişkilerinde olumlu gelişmeler yaşanmamıştır. 1950-1960 yılları arasında iktidar olan ve Türk siyasi tarihine damga vuran Menderes yönetimi, Batı yanlısı politikaları nedeniyle sadece Suriye ile değil hemen hemen bütün Ortadoğulu devletlerin Türkiye ile ilişkilerinin zayıflamasına neden olmuştur. Suriye'de, bağımsız olduğu 1946 yılından itibaren birçok darbe yaşanmıştır ve bir türlü istikrar sağlanamamıştır. Türkiye, 1957 yılında Suriye ile kısa süreli de olsa bir siyasi kriz yaşasa da ekonomik, kültürel, askeri, adli vb. konularda ilişkilerini kesmemiştir. Bu dönemde hem Suriye'de hem de diğer Ortadoğu devletlerinde yaşanan darbelerden dolayı bölgede bir türlü istikrar sağlanamamıştır. The subject of this study is the Turkey-Syria relations in Adnan Menderes period (1950-1960). Syria, which hosted many civilizations since the early ages, entered the sovereignty of the Turks in the period of Sultan Alparslan after the Islamic rule. Syria remained under Ottoman rule from the period of Yavuz Sultan Selim to the First World War. Turkey and Syria which have historical, political, cultural, economic, religious and many areas of common background, have faced due to the Hatay problem during the Republic period. Hatay issue, played an important role in the politics of the two countries and Hatay rejoined the homeland in 1939. There have not been positive developments in Turkey-Syria relations in Adnan Menderes period because of the Hatay issue. Menderes administration, which ruled between 1950-1960 and marked Turkish political history, caused not only Syria but almost all Middle Eastern states weakened their relationship with Turkey because of their pro-western policies. There have been many strikes in Syria since 1946 when it was independent and could not be stabilized. Turkey albeit had a briefly politicial crisis with Syria in 1957, economic, cultural, military, judicial, etc. relationships did not cut. In this period, there has been no stability in the region due to the strokes in both Syria and other Middle Eastern countries. 189

ÖZET İkinci kuşak bir retinoid olan etretinatın psoriasis ve çeşitli keratinizasyon bozukluklarının tedavisinde etkili olduğu çeşitli yayınlarda bildirilmiştir. Çalışmamızda etretinatın bir metaboliti olan asitretin ile tedavi edilen 2 eritrodermik, 2 püstüler ve 16 kronik plak tip psoriasisli hastada gözlenen klinik yanıt değerlendirilmiştir. Asitretin tedavisine eritrodermik ve püstüler psoriasis olgularında 50 mg/gün, diğer olgularda ise 30 mg/gün dozunda başlandı. Hastalar ilk üç ay iki ve daha sonra dört haftalık aralıklarla kontrole çağrıldı. Tedaviye başlamadan ve kontrollerde `Psoriasis Area and Severity Index ` ( PASI Skoru ) ile klinik değerlendirme yapıldı. Background Patch testing with the European Baseline Series (EBS) is an essential diagnostic tool for the assessment of allergic contact dermatitis. Objective The aims of the study were to describe the most common contact allergens identified with patch testing in Turkey and to establish the distribution of contact allergens among different regions in Turkey. Patients and methods Twelve centers consisting of tertiary health care institutions were included in the study. A total of 1169 patients were patch tested with the EBS from 2015 to 2017. Results A total of 596 patients (51.0%) had 1 or more positive patch test reactions to the EBS. A total of 30.2% (n = 353) of those tested had clinical relevance. Contact sensitivity was more common in young patients. The most common 10 allergens were nickel sulfate (20.4%), followed by textile dye mix (8.6%), cobalt chloride (8.3%), potassium dichromate (8.0%), p-phenylenediamine base (4.5%), balsam of Peru (4.3%), methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone (3.8%), thiuram mix (3.6%), fragrance mix I (3.0%), and methylisothiazolinone (2.9%). Conclusions This study provides a comprehensive profile of patch test results with the EBS in Turkey. An ongoing decrease in contact allergy to methylchloroisothiazolinone/methylisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone was observed. Textile dye mix and p-phenylenediamine are beginning to pose a new risk in Turkey.

Bu çalışmadaki amacımız alopesi areata hastaları ile sağlıklı kontrollerin total oksidan/antioksidan kapasite düzeylerini karşılaştırmak, oksidatif stres indekslerini hesaplamak ve bu durumun alopesi areata hastalığının etiyopatogenezinde rolünün olup olmadığını araştırmaktı.Çalışmamızda Temmuz 2012 ve Kasım 2012 tarihleri arasında Deri ve Zührevi hastalıklar polikliniğine başvuran 30 sağlıklı kontrol ve 30 alopesi areata hastasının total oksidan ve antioksidan kapasite düzeyleri ölçüldü. Çalışmaya son iki aydan beri immünsüpresif tedavi almayan, konjenital anomali, kronik sistemik hastalık, akut infeksiyon, septisemi ve akciğer hastalığı gibi hastalıkları bulunmayanlar dahil edildi. Çalışmada kullanılan kontrol grubu hasta grubun yaş ve cinsiyet özelliklerine göre seçildi. Total oksidan ve antioksidan kapasite düzeyleri Erel metodu ile Dicle Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Biyokimya Laboratuarında çalışıldı.Sonuçlarımızda yaş ve cinsiyet açısından hasta grup ile kontrol grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark yoktu (p >0.05). Total antioksidan kapasite düzeyleri hasta grupta kontrol gruba kıyasla daha düşüktü ve bu istatistiksel olarak anlamlıydı (p 0.05).Biz bu sonuçlarla, azalmış total antioksidan kapasite düzeylerinin alopesi areata patogenezinde rol oynayabileceğini ancak oksidatif stresin hastalığın patogenezinde herhangi bir rolünün bulunmadığı düşüncesindeyiz. ANAHTAR KELİMELER: Alopesi areata, oksidatif stres, total antioksidan kapasite In this study our aim was to compare total oxidant/antioxidant capacity levels and to calculate oxidative stres index of alopecia areata patients and healthy controls, and to investigate whether this situation has a role in the etiopathogenesis of alopecia.In our study, total antioxidant and oxidant capacity levels of 30 alopecia areata patients and 30 healthy controls who visited Dermatology and Venerology outpatient clinic between July 2012 and November 2012, were measured. Patients without history of acuta infection, septicemia , lung disease, congenital anomalies or chronic sistemic disease and those who had not received any immünsupressive therapy for at least two months were accepted for the study. The control group used in this study were selected according to age and gender characteristics of the patient group. Total oxidant and antioxidant capacity levels were evaluated by the Erel method at Dicle University Medical Faculty Biochemistry Laboratory.In our results, there was no statistically significant difference between patient and control groups in terms of age and gender (p >0.05). Total antioxidant capacity levels were lower in the patient group compared to the control group and this was statistically significant (p 0.05). Bu çalışmada Diyarbakır bölgesinde otomotiv tamir sanayisinde çalışan işçilerdeki meslek dermatozları araştırıldı.Eylül-Aralık 2011 tarihleri arasında 405 çalışan işyerinde değerlendirildi. Çalışmaya tamir işinde aktif çalışan ve tamir işinde en az 6 ay çalışan işçiler alındı. Çalışanların hepsi erkekti ve yaşları 13-68 arasında değişmekteydi. Çalışanların yaşı, deri tipi, alt meslek grubu (örneğin motor tamiricisi, kaportacı) çalıştığı süre, usta veya çırak olmaları, koruyucu eldiven ve elbise kullanıp kullanmadığı, kullanıyorsa türü, anamnez verileri, deri bulguları ve dermatolojik hastalıklar prospektif olarak incelendi.Veriler SPSS 16,0 programında değerendirildi ve Chi-Square istatistik metodu ile analiz edildi.Çalışmaya alınan 405 işçinin 144'ünde (% 35,6) herhangi bir dermatoz saptanmamış, 261'inde (% 64,4) ise bir ya da daha fazla dermatoz olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmamızda çalışma ortamıyla ilişkili olarak 405 kişiden 112 tanesinde (% 27,7) kallus, hiperkeratoz ve klavus, 68 tanesinde (% 16,8) tırnak değişiklikleri, 49 tanesinde (% 12,1) yüzeyel mikozlar, 24 tanesinde (% 5,9) kontakt dermatit ve 23 tanesinde (% 5,7) follikülit saptanmıştır. Ellidört kişide (%13,3) akne vulgaris saptanmış; ancak mesleksel akne saptanmamıştır.Tırnak bulguları ve akne vulgaris oto elektrikçilerde, kaportacılarda ve motor tamircilerinde daha sıktı ancak istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildi (sırasyla p değeri: 0,250, 0,060). Kontakt dermatit vakalarının % 83,3'ü İKD idi ve İKD vakalarının % 90'ı kronik kümülatif İKD idi. İrritan kontakta dermatit atopi öyküsü olanlarda ve uzun süredir çalışanlarda sıktı.Çalışmamızda diğer çalışmalardan farklı olarak en sık hiperkeratotik lezyonlar (% 27,7) ve tırnak değişiklikleri (% 16,8) gibi travmatik lezyonlar saptanmıştır. Tırnak bulgularının % 69,1'i lokal lökonişi idi. Önceki çalışmalarda tırnak değişiklikleri otomotiv sanayisinde çalışanlarda bildirilmemiştir. Bu konuda ve değişik mesleklerde çalışmaların artmasıyla yeni meslek dermatozları ve ilişki faktörler daha iyi tanımlanacaktır. In this study, occupational dermatoses were investigated in workers working in Diyarbakır automotive repair industry.Workers (n: 405) were assessed in their workplace. In our study, those workers who were working the actively in the job of repairing more than 6 months were included. All our cases were males. Their ages varied between 13-68 years. Age, skin type, the sub-occupational groups (such as motor repair workers, body shop), time of working, their masters, or apprentice, use of protective gloves and clothing, type of gloves and clothing, history data, the skin manifestations and dermatological diseases of the cases were evaluated prospectively.The data were evaluated with SPSS 16.0 and analyzed with Chi Square statistical method.In our study, any dermatoses were not determined in 35.6% (144/405) of the cases, and there were one or more type of dermatoses in 64.4% (261/405) of the cases; 27.7% of the cases (112/405) had callus, hyperkeratosis and klavus, 16.8% of the cases (68/405) had nail changes, 12.1% of the cases (49/405) superficial mycoses, 5.9% of the cases (24/405) had contact dermatitis and 5.7% of the cases (23/405) had folliculitis associated with the working environment.Nail findings were more frequent in automotive electricians, car body shop and motor repairers, but it was not statistically significant (p = 0.250).In our study, 83.3% of the cases with contact dermatitis had irritant contact dermatitis, and 90 % of the cases with irritant contact dermatitis were chronic cumulative dermatitis. Irritant dermatitis were more frequent in those who had a history of atopy and who were working long time.In our study, unlike other studies, we found most commonly hyperkeratotic lesions (27.7%) and traumatic lesions such as nail changes (16.8%). Of nail findings, 69.1% were local leukonychia. In previous studies, nail changes have not been reported in workers of the automotive industry. New occupational dermatoses and related factors would be understood better through extensive studies on this issue and different professions.Key words: Occupational dermatoses, automotive industry 62

Behçet hastalığı oral aftlar, genital ülserler, kutanöz lezyonlar, oküler, artiküler, nörolojik ve vasküler semptom ve bulgularla karakterize multisistemik bir hastalıktır. Behçet hastalığının etyoloji ve patogenezi tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Behçet hastalığı ilk kez 1937 yılında bir Türk dermatoloğu olan Dr. Hulusi Behçet tarafından bildirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Dicle Üniversitesi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Dermatoloji polikliniğinde takip edilen Behçet hastalarının demografik ve klinik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmaya Uluslararası Behçet Hastalığı Çalışma Grubu tanı kriterlerine göre Behçet hastalığı tanısı konulan 132 hasta alındı. Hastalar retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi ve veriler SPSS 16 programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Yaşları 15 ile 59 arasında değişen, 76’sı kadın, 56’sı erkek toplam 132 hasta değerlendirildi. Hastaların yaş ortalaması 32.40, erkek/kadın oranı 0.73 olarak bulundu. En çok hasta 26-35 yaş aralığındaydı. Hastalığın semptomlarının ortalama başlangıç yaşı 25.51, semptomların başlangıç yaşı en erken 8, en geç ise 54 yaş olarak bulundu. Ortalama tanı yaşı 28.71 yaş olarak bulundu. Hastalık süresi 1-16 yıl arasında değişmekteydi ve ortalama hastalık süresi 3.68 yıl olarak saptandı. Jüvenil Behçet hastalığı tanısı alan 6 hasta (%4.54) tespit edildi. Oral aftlar (%100) ve genital ülserler (%94.0) hastalığın en sık bulguları olarak bulundu. Bunları paterji pozitifliği (%75.0), papülopüstüler döküntü (%74.2), eritema nodozum (%43.2), tromboflebit (%6.8) ve ekstragenital ülser (%6.1) izledi. Sistemik tutulum sıklıklarına göre; eklem tutulumu (%79.54), göz tutulumu (%28.8), vasküler tutulum (%9.8), pulmoner tutulum (%2.3), nörolojik tutulum (%2.3) ve genitoüriner sistem tutulumu (%0.8) olarak saptandı. Behçet hastalığının en sık bulgusu mukokutanöz lezyonlar olarak saptandı. Erkek ve kadın hastalar arasında mukokutanöz bulgular ve sistemik tutulum oranları açısından istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadı. Bu çalışmanın dünyanın farklı bölgelerinde klinik ve demografik özellikleri farklılık gösterebilen Behçet Hastalığının epidemiyolojik verilerine katkıda bulunacağını düşünüyoruz. Anahtar sözcükler: Behçet hastalığı, demografik ve klinik özellikler Behçet’s disease is a multisystemic disease which is characterized by oral aphthous lesions, genital ulcers, cutaneous lesions, ocular, articular, neurologic and vascular symptoms. Etiology and pathogenesis of Behçet’s disease is not known exactly. Behcet’s disease was described the first time in 1937 by a Turkish dermatologist Dr. Hulusi Behçet. In this study, we aimed to determine demographic and clinical features of patients with Behçet’s disease, followed up in the outpatient clinic of Dermatology, Medical Faculty, Dicle University. The study included 132 patients who were diagnosed with Behçet’s disease according to International Behçet’s Disease Study Group’s diagnostic criteria. The patients were examined retrospectively and the data were analyzed by using SPSS 16 programme. This study was performed on 132 patients, 76 females and 56 male, who are between 15-59 years old. Mean age of the patients was 32.40 and male/female ratio was found to be 0.73. Most of the patients were at interval age of 26-35 years. The mean age of the disease’s symptoms onset was 25.51 years, the age of symptoms at onset was found to be 8 years as the earliest, and 54 years as the latest. The mean diagnosis age was 28.71 years. The disease duration varied between 1-16 years, and mean disease duration was determined to be 3.68 years. Six patients were diagnosed to have juvenil Behçet disease (4.45%). Oral aphtous lesions (100%) and genital ulcers (94%) were found to be the most common sympthoms of the disease, followed by patergy positivity 75%, papulopustular lesions 74.2%, erythema nodosum 43.2%, thrombophlebitis 6.8% and extragenital ulcer 6.1%. According to systemic involvement frequencies; joint involvement was found as 79.5%, ocular involvement 28.8%, vascular involvement 9.8%, pulmonar involvement 2.3%, neurologic involvement 2.3% and genitourinary system involvement 0.8%. The most frequent finding of the Behçet’s disease were detected as mucocutaneous lesions. It was also determined that these was not any significant difference between male and female patients in terms of mucocutaneous symptom and systemic involvement rations. We are of the opinion that this study will contribute to the epidemiologic data of Behçet’s disease which may exhibit different clinic and demographic features in different parts of the world. Psoriasis kronik multifaktöryel deri hastalığıdır ve obesite, anormal lipid profili ve insülin duyarlılığı ile birlikte olabilir. Bu çalışmada, yeni psoriasis tanısı almış veya en az 6 aydır sistemik, 3 aydır topikal tedavi kullanmayan hastalarda, hiperlipidemi ve insülin direnci yapabilecek sekonder sebepler dışlandıktan sonra lipid profili ve insülin direncinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamına Aralık 2005–Mayıs 2008 tarihleri arasında Dicle Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dermatoloji Polikliniğine başvuran 48 psoriasis tanısı alan /almış hasta dahil edildi. Kontrol grubu olarak 50 sağlıklı birey rastgele olarak seçildi ve çalışmaya alındı. Her iki grup cinsiyet, yaş ve vücut kitle indeksi açısından benzer özellikteki bireylerden oluşturuldu. Psoriasisli hastalar ve kontrol grubu lipid profili ve HOMA-IR değerleri açısından karşılaştırıldı. Psoriasisli hastalar ve kontrol grubu arasında lipid profili ve HOMA-IR değerleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmadı (p>0,05). Sonuç olarak, çalışmamızda psoriasisli hastaların lipid profili ve insülin direnci değerlendirilirken, sonuçları etkileyebilecek sekonder faktörlerin dışlanmasıyla kontrol grubuna göre farklılık görülmemesi, psoriasis ile birlikte görülebilen hiperlipidemi ve insülin direnci oluşumunda başka faktörlerin etkili olduğunu desteklemektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Psoriasis, lipid profili, insülin direnci, obesite Psoriasis is a chronic, multi factorial inflammatory skin disease and has been associated with abnormal lipid metabolism, obesity and insülin sensitivity. In this study, in patients recently diagnosed with psoriasis, or who had not received any systemic treatment for six months and topical treatment for 3 months, we aimed to evaluate lipid profile and insulin resistance after excluding secondary causes that might result in hyperlipidemia and insulin resistance. A total of 48 patients who applied to Dermatology Polyclinic, Medical Faculty, Dicle University between December 2005 and May 2008, and who were diagnosed with psoriasis were included into the study. As control group, 50 healthy subjects were included into the study. Both groups were formed from among individuals with similar characteristics; in terms of sex, age and body mass index. Patients with psoriasis and controls were compared in terms of lipid profile and HOMA – IR values. There were not any significant difference in lipid profile and HOMA – IR values between the two groups (p>0,05). In conclusion, statistically, we could not determine any significant difference between psoriasis and control group patients according to their lipid profile and HOMA-IR values. This results supports the opinion that some other factors may be effective in the development of hyperlipidemia and insulin resistance in psoriasis patients. BH etyolojisi bilinmeyen sistemik bir vaskülittir. Bu çalışmada Behçet hastalarında tiroid fonksiyon testlerim ve TSH'un TRH'na yanıtı araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Uluslararası Behçet Hastalığı Çalışma Grubu Kriterlerine uyan BH tanısı konan 30 hasta çalışmaya alındı. Kontrol grubu olarak da 30 sağlıklı bireyler seçildi. Çalışmaya aldığımız Behçet hastalan ve kontrol grubundaki bireylere tiroid fonksiyon testleri ve TRH-uyan testi uygulandı. Sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırıldı. Behçet hastalarının T3, T4, FT3, ve FT4 değerleri kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında aralarında istatistiksel olarak bir fark görülmedi. Behçet hastalarının TSH ve TRH-uyan test sonuçlan, kontrol grubu ile istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırıldığında düşük olarak tespit edildi. En düşük değerler nöro-Behçetli hastada görüldü. Sonuç olarak; Behçet hastalarında subklinik azalmış tiroid fonksiyonları serebral vaskülit sonucu olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Behcet's disease is a systemic vasculitis of unknown aetiology. The aim of this study is to invastigate thyroid function tests and responses of the TSH to TRH in the patients with Behcet's disease. Thirty patients fulfilled the criteria of the International Study Group for Behcet's disease were studied. Thirty healty person were selected as a control group. The blood sample were obtained from all person for thyroid function tests and thyroid stimulating tests. The results of these tests were compared statistically. When the level of thyroid function tests (T3, T4, FT3, FT4, TSH) in the Behcet's disease group compared with control group there were no differences between the two groups. Statistically decreased levels of TSH and TRH stimulating tests results in the Behcet's disease group were obtained when compared with control group results. The most decreased levels were observed in the Behcet's disease patient with neurological involvement. As a result, subclinic decreased thyroid functions may be due to cerebral vasculitis in the Behcet's disease.
