In the article, the author describes the subjects of administrative and legal support for the use of individual armor protection by the civilian population. Within the scope of the study, the concept of subjects of administrative and legal support for the use of individual armor protection by the civilian population is defined, it is appropriate to understand it as a system of public administration bodies that, with the help of legal instruments (methods, means, methods and procedures), form and ensure the implementation of state policy in the field of use means of individual armor protection by the civilian population, which is aimed at preserving the life and health of a person in the event of a threat. Subjects of administrative and legal support for the use of individual armor protection by the civilian population are classified by the author according to several criteria, the first of which is the order of formation: a) elected bodies (organizations) - those elected by the Ukrainian people, residents of certain administrative and territorial units, councils of public organizations (the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine, local self-government bodies, public organizations); b) bodies created according to the order of appointment (the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, higher executive bodies - the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, other central bodies of the executive power, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations formed in accordance to the current legislation of Ukraine); c) bodies created according to the election-appointment procedure (relevant subjects of civil society, in particular, the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, whose members are elected by representatives of civil society and approved by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine). In addition, according to subject competence and powers, subjects of administrative and legal support for the use of individual armor protection by civilians are classified according to the following criteria: a) bodies of general competence (the National Security Council of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, local self-government bodies); b) bodies (organizations) with special powers (the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, other military formations formed in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, public associations, the legal purpose of which is limited to activities in the field of administrative and legal support for the use of individual armor protection by the civilian population). Over the past three decades, states, districts, and schools have introduced co-teaching as a means of educating students with disabilities, even though it is not included as a placement option in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the law governing special education. Cultivated by evolving federal legislation, regulation, and policy, co-teaching can address the intersection of the least restrictive environment, general curriculum access, and improved school outcomes. In this systematic review of co-teaching research published between 2010 and 2024, we found that empirical studies remain sparse and inconclusive. Confounding factors include ill-defined and uneven implementation likely affecting the fidelity of the model, lack of evidence regarding the amount and impact of administrative support, and inattention to contextual differences across elementary and secondary school settings. Looking to the future, research on co-teaching is likely to focus on specially designed instruction (SDI) and student outcomes. We suggest the use of the co-teaching framework to ensure fidelity in future research and encourage the use of mixed methods to clarify ambiguous results. Further, co-teaching applications are likely to expand, suggested by its nascent use as a model for an inclusive approach for educating multilingual learners (MLs) and those from other marginalized groups. AbstractIn 2022, authors conducted a research study of SC teachers who had completed the first-in-the-nation teaching endorsement in Project-Based Learning (PBL) between the years of 2014 and 2020. Researchers’ key question was to what extent have teachers trained in the SC PBL endorsement implemented PBL in their classrooms? This study sought to assess how many of the 153 teachers endorsed through one SC university’s cohort programs were still actively implementing project-based teaching and learning, and to gather teacher input on the state of PBL within SC. Based on the analysis of current legislation, available scientific, journalistic and methodological sources, the article clarifies the content of the system of subjects of administrative and legal support of information security in Ukraine. It is proposed that the system of subjects of administrative and legal support of information security should be understood as a set of legislative, executive and judicial authorities, state, public and other organizations and associations, and citizens who may participate in administrative and legal support of information security in accordance with the legislation regulating relations in the field of information security. It is established that the system of subjects of administrative and legal support of information security includes a wide range of structures of both state and non-state affiliation. The first group (state entities) is represented by the State represented by the President of Ukraine, legislative, executive and judicial bodies, which, having different competencies in the field of administrative and legal support of information security, perform key tasks and functions in it. The second group (non-state actors) can be divided into two subgroups. The first one includes society represented by legal entities, namely, commercial companies and non-governmental organizations (educational institutions, research institutes, research and analytical centers, etc.) The second group includes individuals (citizens) who may be directly involved in ensuring information security, represented by specialists, experts, information security consultants, etc. It is proposed to: include all non-state actors in the mechanism for implementing the goals and objectives of the Information Security Strategy; make the widest possible use of the capabilities of non-state actors in this area, and therefore intensify the involvement of citizens, public associations, organizations, etc. in solving the problem of information security; create an Interagency Commission on Information Security within the structure of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Rationale Aims and Objectives Method Results Conclusion Allied Health Primary Contact Clinic (AHPCC) models of care are increasingly used to manage growing demands on health service capacity. There is a critical need for new models of care to demonstrate value, however comprehensive evaluation of AHPCCs, including use of metrics frameworks like the Moretto framework, have been slow to uptake, and the reasons for this are unclear.To understand current evaluation practices as mapped to the Moretto framework, and explore clinician attitudes to the process of service evaluation across a variety of AHPCC models implemented within a metropolitan health service in Queensland, Australia.A convergent mixed methods approach was used. Data were collected in 2022 using a quantitative presurvey, followed by a qualitative descriptive interview with AHPCC lead clinicians. Thirty AHPCCs were eligible, and all potential participants who provided consent were included. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis were used for quantitative and qualitative data respectively, then merged and reported jointly.Twenty‐three clinicians representing 22 different AHPCCs participated. AHPCC models were found to be complex and varied. Evaluation practices were variable across AHPCCs, although more than half collected most of the Moretto framework measures. Quality of life and resource use measures were least commonly collected. Themes regarding participants' experience of AHPCCs evaluation were that: Evaluation is complex and challenging; Evaluation is important; and Evaluation needs to be enabled.For health services to fully understand the value of their AHPCC services and direct their limited resources appropriately, evaluation activity needs to be better valued and enabled at a local, statewide and national level. Strategies should include protected time, funding, administrative support, leadership support, access to mentorship, development of structures which enable collaborative evaluation at a state‐wide (or broader) level, and a shared understanding of value and core areas for measurement across stakeholders. ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Methods Results Conclusions Integrated care models, like combined rheumatology/dermatology clinics (RDCs), facilitate efficient coordination between specialists and provide comprehensive care. Given the limited literature on pediatric RDC logistics, outcomes, benefits and, challenges, we comprehensively characterized our patient cohort at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital RDC and surveyed pediatric dermatologists participating in RDCs.We retrospectively reviewed 71 patients new to the UCSF Pediatric RDC between September 2017 and September 2023. A survey was distributed in 2024 to 17 dermatologists in North America, each representing a unique pediatric RDC.69% of patients (49/71) were female. Seventeen (24%) presented without a known diagnosis; the first RDC visit established a diagnosis for 7 of them (41%). Of patients with a previously established diagnosis, initial RDC evaluation confirmed it in 52 (96%) and revised it for 2 (4%). The most encountered diagnoses were linear morphea (33%), lupus (23%), and psoriasis (13%). New systemic therapy was prescribed for 23% of patients, and additional work‐up was recommended via skin biopsy (8%) and imaging (28%). Survey results revealed all pediatric RDCs include trainees, but only 59% (10/17) receive administrative support. All agreed that RDCs are valuable for patient care and most (15/17, 88%) felt that the RDC was a valuable use of their time.Pediatric RDCs are valuable for consensus diagnosis, streamlined evaluation, and management of complex patients. Though clinical and administrative support for RDCs is generally poor, RDCs are valuable to patients, a good use of time for clinicians, and offer educational opportunities for team members. Background Aim Methods Results Conclusions Multidisciplinary endocarditis team (MDET) management is supported by current evidence and recommended in international society guidelines. The extent to which this recommendation has been implemented in Australian centres and the attitudes, barriers and facilitators of this model are unclear.To describe current infective endocarditis (IE) models of care in Australian specialist referral centres and evaluate facilitators, barriers and attitudes towards MDET implementation.Aims were addressed using two online surveys. Survey 1 audited IE models of care and was distributed to infectious disease physicians at specialist referral centres. Survey 2 assessed barriers, facilitators and attitudes towards MDETs and was distributed via societal email listings.From 56 identified cardiac surgery centres, survey 1 received 47 responses (84%). A total of 28% (13/47) of participating institutions had an existing MDET. A total of 85% (11/13) of MDETs were in public hospitals and 85% (11/13) were in high IE volume centres. Survey 2 had 109 respondents from seven specialties. Attitudes towards MDET implementation were generally favourable. Identified barriers to MDET implementation included a lack of funding, resources, expertise, time and collaboration. Facilitators included strong leadership, engagement from key stakeholders and tangible benefits.Even though it is recommended in international guidelines, the MDET model is used by less than one‐third of Australian specialist referral centres. Stakeholders in IE care have generally favourable attitudes towards MDET implementation but cite a lack of resources, funding, collaboration and time as barriers to this. Introduction: Case write-ups and reflective journals have been used as assessment tools of learning in clinical rotations in Yong Loo Lin school of medicine. It is timely to review the current process of conducting these assessments and effectiveness as an assessment tool. This study aims to understand faculty outlook towards these assessments. Methods: This is a study that involves a survey-based questionnaire with both closed and open-ended questions, sent out to faculty marking the students' assignments. This survey was anonymous & voluntary and was disseminated by administrative assistants. The purpose of this survey was to collect the feedback from faculty about current process with intentions of improving the effectiveness of these assessments. The suggestions for improvement were incorporated in the survey and faculty was invited to comment over these suggestions and provide further suggestions if any. Results: Fifty-two responses from faculty were collected and analysed. Ninety percent of respondents thinks that this is an effective tool to assess and promote self-directed learning. Qualitative feedback was received about need of improvement in a) alignment of the submissions timings with rotation postings b) marking rubric to incorporate factors such as case complexity and weightage to different components of case write-ups, c) timely feedback to students, and d) follow up on action plans. Conclusion: Case write-ups and reflective journals are still effective learning and assessment tools. They promote self-directed learning and clinical analysis in students. This study investigated the typologies of teacher attitudes toward gifted students and gifted education, along with the predictors of such attitudes. For this purpose, surveys were administered to 339 teachers employed in a large faith-based school system in Australia. Analyses including factor analysis and latent profile analysis were performed on the data. In the end, four distinct profiles of teacher attitudes were identified. Two key predictors of these attitudes were found to be (a) school administrative support for gifted students and gifted education and (b) perceived knowledge of giftedness. To address growing K-12 teacher shortages, many districts are hiring emergency certified teachers at higher rates than in the past. Yet, little empirical research evaluates the performance of emergency certified teachers. In this study, we estimate the relationship between certification status and teacher evaluation scores (n = 1,312) in a large urban district with a high percentage of emergency certified teachers. Results indicate lower overall evaluation scores (β = -0.41, p < .001) for emergency certified teachers. The largest gaps were found for measures relating to learning strategies and classroom management. Findings suggest that targeted support in these two areas could be beneficial when leaders integrate emergency certified teachers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The adoption of technology of in teaching and learning has been increased in many institutions over the world. In Saudi Arabia the many universities have been integrated Blackboard System in their academic environment in order to facilitate the learning and teaching process. However; there is lack of studies and knowledge about the factors that impedents the utilize of the technology in teaching process by acdamic staff. The aim of this study was to investigate the educators' views about the obstacles that they encountered when adopting technology in their lessons. The sample of this study was eight educators and two leaders of e-learning from two universities. Semi-structure interview was used for collecting the data from the participants. Deductive analysis was used to analysis the data. The results revealed that there were many types of the challenges that affected educator's implementation and integration of Blackboard System in their teaching. These were lack of insufficient equipment, Poor internet network. Insufficient infrastructure and inadequate number of computers. Also, insufficient training and administrative support. Moreover, they indicated that difficulties with uploading files, insufficient regular computer maintenance, insufficient incentives, insufficient motivation and encouragement. Administrative burdens are an important policy tool that has received growing scholarly attention. Burdens are consequential and serve as a contributor to incomplete program take‐up. However, our knowledge is limited on how program characteristics affect public attitudes toward burden‐increasing or decreasing policies. Based on our knowledge of public attitudes toward the welfare state, two such characteristics, whether benefits are “earned” and whether they come in the form of in‐kind services or cash payments, may also affect perceptions of administrative burdens. Using a nationally representative survey (N = 2904), we tested support for two administrative burdens (in‐person interviews and requirements for government‐issued documents) and two administrative easings (presumptive eligibility and express lane eligibility) for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) in the United States. In general, we found no strong and consistent differences along both dimensions. However, Republicans, Conservatives, and those high in racial resentment consistently favored increasing burdens and opposed decreasing burdens with the opposite effect for Democrats, Liberals, and those low in racial resentment. The most important resource of the information society; It creates intellectual capital that researches, analyzes, questions and reveals innovation. As the Digital Age evolves towards Society 5.0; It is expected that human resources capital will be able to achieve competencies far beyond their knowledge and skills with the support of technology. While individuals can control their social lives in a more practical and simple way with the technologies they have, they can also reveal their different talents in their business lives, thanks to the technological infrastructure, knowledge and experience in their work areas. Expected from employees in business life; is to be able to adapt skills in the fields of knowledge, informatics, analysis, innovation and creativity. The aim of this study is to determine the digital skills of executive assistants in the changing business life and to reveal their impact on career sustainability. First of all, the "Digital Abilities Scale" was developed to be used in the research. For this purpose, scale reliability and validity studies were conducted. After creating a valid and reliable scale, 325 administrative assistants were contacted in line with the purpose of the research and data on the relevant subject was collected through a survey. It was concluded that there is a moderate, positive significant relationship between the digital skills of executive assistants and their career sustainability. It is recommended that utmost importance be given to the existence of the necessary and sufficient technological infrastructure, innovative work environments and supportive management approach in order to contribute to the career sustainability of executive assistants. Purpose: Cancer is a leading cause of global childhood mortality, affecting 400,000 children annually. While treatable with modern therapies, children living in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs) have limited access to care and lower survival rates. Hospital‐based cancer registries (HBCRs) collect detailed patient information to critically evaluate and evolve care. The St. Jude Global Childhood Cancer Analytics Resource and Epidemiological Surveillance System (SJCARES) is a cloud‐based HBCR network facilitating quality data collection of pediatric cancer. Wide variation in the success of implementation has warranted further research into the implementation approach, to create a sustainable and adaptable HBCR in LMICs. Methods: Seven of 89 sites using the SJCARES registry were selected, stratified by global region and stage of implementation. Semi‐structured interviews were conducted with key groups (clinicians, administrators, data clerks) using an interview guide developed from the Consolidation Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). Interviews were conducted via a video‐telephone software program and transcribed by a transcription service. Transcripts were thematically coded using rapid qualitative analysis. Results: A total of 18 participants (11 clinicians, 4 administrators, 3 data clerks) were interviewed. Several barrier themes were identified, including: difficulty integrating the registry into existing workflow; lack of resources; lack of government or administrative support; and damaged, misplaced, or illegible medical records. Facilitator themes were identified, including: internal support for the registry; clear and extensive training; and dedicated support staff. Conclusion: Interviewed participants identified key barriers and facilitators to the implementation of the SJCARES registry across multiple phases. We plan to use these results to develop targeted implementation strategies including a readiness assessment tool to help guide more successful implementation of the SJCARES registry and other HBCRs in LMICs. Histotechnology educational programs are accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) and currently number fewer than 50 in the United States which contributes to the shortages of laboratory personnel. A survey tool designed with REDCap software was distributed to all programs identified on the NAACLS website and consisted of three parts: a) program information, b) facility information, and c) challenges. Programs are located primarily in large urban centers where populations are most concentrated. The median class size was 6 which may explain the excellent student outcomes to include 96% graduation rates and 90.7% board of registry examination pass rates. Overall, programs had ample equipment, funding, and administrative support. Costs to attend the programs were relatively low (<$3,000 per semester) for over half of the programs. However, due to the small number of accredited education programs across the US, potential students do not often have access to an institution in their area. The programs indicated that the most common challenge was recruitment of adequate high-quality candidates which may explain, in part, the persistent shortage of personnel in the histology laboratory. The purpose of the current study was to develop and validate the Pre-Service Teacher Online Teaching Motivation Scale (PST-OTMS), a survey instrument designed to reliably measure motivational constructs related to online teaching and learning in pre-service teachers. Due to increasing opportunities to teach within online learning contexts where challenges were magnified during the COVID-19 pandemic, a reliable and valid instrument is needed to measure such motivational constructs. The Pre-Service Teacher Online Teaching Motivation Survey (PST-OTMS) underwent a thorough validation process resulting in a 31-item survey aimed at assessing pre-service teacher motivation for online teaching across four dimensions: (1) preservice teacher self-efficacy for online teaching, (2) pre-service teacher perceptions of online teaching and learning, (3) online teaching professionalism, and (4) pre-service teacher anticipated administrative support for online teaching. The PST-OTMS demonstrated strong reliability and validity within the research context. This study investigated the role of administrative support in the correlation between teachers' perceptions of organizational support and their levels of leadership. This study adopts a relational screening model. The study population consisted of teachers in elementary, middle, and high schools. The sample consisted of 304 teachers selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the Organizational Support Scale, Administrative Support Scale and the Teacher Leadership Scale. The findings indicate significant positive relationships between teachers' perceptions of organizational support, perceptions of administrative support, and their levels of leadership. When examining whether administrative support mediated the impact of organizational support on teacher leadership, significant effects were observed on the paths connecting organizational support, administrative support, and teacher leadership. Specifically, the paths from organizational support to teacher leadership through administrative support were significant, whereas the direct pathway from organizational support to teacher leadership was not, suggesting that administrative support fully mediated this model. Considering these research findings and the existing literature, it is advisable to structure organizational support and administrative practices that foster teacher leadership in both in-school and out-of-school settings by legal regulations. In this paper, a process workflow for Bot is created using robotic process automation (RPA), associated with artificial intelligence that is used to stream line the administrative tasks and alleviate stress levels of faculty in handling administrative tasks while teaching in higher education. These activities are must for National Academic Audit Council (NAAC) accreditation and All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) surveys, which strive to bring quality in teaching higher education by shaping educational policies. Therefore, ensuring the accuracy of this data is paramount to avoid misleading decisions. The Bot automatically gathers student results from the website and saves them into individual files, eliminating the need for human intervention. It is trained to find the related file of student and update his results of upcoming semesters or backlogs. The Bot efficiently manages folders during file saving to enhance retrieval. Additionally, it maintains pertinent student details such as community, caste, and religion, beneficial for educational policy surveys aiming for improved quality. Moreover, it generates and updates reports post each process execution, ensuring data integrity, and can be trained for statistical analysis to predict student outcomes. Introduction: Supervision of trainees in the health care professions is recognised internationally as core to safe and effective patient care. A supervisor workforce in general practice (GP) is critical to the profession and to the communities where they work and can be demanding as general practitioners incorporate workplace‐based education and support of their trainees into their daily consulting work. Little is known about how this is experienced by new supervisors; therefore, this research sought to understand factors that play a significant role in the first semester of becoming a supervisor. Methods: An exploratory multi‐case study design was used; new general practice supervisors were the unit of analysis. Four data sources were captured longitudinally: semi‐structured interviews at the beginning and end of the semester, audio diaries throughout and a mid‐semester focus group. Template analysis was used, sensitised by a community of practice theoretical framework. Results: Seven new supervisors participated. Five interdependent key factors played a significant role in general practitioners becoming supervisors: (1) making meaning of the role, (2) reconciling multiple roles, (3) building a relationship with the trainee, (4) receiving support from the training practice and the training programme and (5) joining peer communities of new and experienced supervisors. Conclusion: Becoming a general practice supervisor is situated in the context of a workplace delivering clinical services, a training programme and personal life circumstances. It can be challenging and rewarding. Insufficient support may result in unintended attrition. Learning in this role is facilitated by enabling the new supervisor to find meaning in the role; structured allocation of time to engage effectively; a positive trainee–supervisor relationship; administrative support by practices; information, advice and remuneration from the training programme; and interactions with new and experienced supervisor peers. Using a survey of nearly 2,000 federal government employees, we test the extent to which civil servants are willing to use their position to impose administrative burdens on political opponents. Such an act would create a burden of bad intentions. Rather than discovering that administrators are partisan actors through their use of burdens, we find that federal public employees support administrative burdens when they reduce fraud and waste. Furthermore, these civil servants are also not politically motivated. More precisely, federal government employees do not support administrative burdens that will give unequal benefits to members of their own political party or that will create uneven challenges for members of the opposition. Therefore, we theorize that administrators' decisions relating to burden are motivated by a general concern for efficiency and ethics, even as decisions related to compliance and discretion may be divided into partisan lines. Studies have shown that Latina faculty have negative racialized and gendered experiences while teaching at their institutions. An emerging body of research shows that these experiences also occur at Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs). The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of Latina faculty at one small, private, four-year Catholic HSI (C-HSI) that was trying to make sense of its C-HSI identity. Using a counter-storytelling approach and one-on-one interviews, we came to understand the racialized and gendered experiences of four Latina faculty through the themes of preservation, the act of being pushed out of the institution, and elusive administrative support. With a national call to recruit more faculty of Color to work in HSIs we argue for a focused effort on supporting currently employed faculty of Color, and specifically Latina faculty, as an aspect of servingness. While pedagogical practice is not mandatory in doctoral programs, many doctoral students often serve as graduate student instructors or teaching assistants for college courses. However, most institutions neither mandate nor offer pedagogical training as part of doctoral education. Effective teaching necessitates subject matter expertise and proficiency in pedagogical techniques, which are best acquired through mentorship, training programs, and administrative support. In this article, we discuss the results from a content analysis of US Public Administration PhD programs to evaluate the status of pedagogical training through publicly available information. Given that these sites and handbooks offer critical information for potential doctoral students, we evaluate the type of public information that would help potential students when applying to and making decisions regarding PhD programs. The third-party governance of environmental pollution and the pollution rights trading system are two typical examples of modern environmental governance systems. In China, the quasi-co-owned relationship of pollution rights between pollution-discharging and pollution-control enterprises is the link through which to achieve synergy between the two factors. To explore how to achieve such synergy, first, the “principle of no-fault liability” is introduced, and the responsibilities of pollution-discharging enterprises and pollution-control enterprises are defined. Second, based on the quasi-co-owned relationship of pollution rights, a revenue-sharing mechanism for pollution rights trading is designed. Finally, a tripartite evolutionary game model consisting of pollutiondischarging enterprises, pollution-control enterprises and local governments is constructed, and numerical simulation is performed. The results are as follows. 1) By setting a reasonable market trading price for pollution rights, a reward and punishment distribution coefficient, an improvement in reputation gains, and a saving in pollution rights indicators become conducive to the formation of cooperative relationships between pollution-discharging and pollution-control enterprises, for which the reasonable range of the reward and punishment distribution coefficient is (0.3, 0.4]. 2) Regardless of whether a government subsidy is provided, the optimal range of the revenue-sharing coefficient from pollution rights trading is [0.5, 0.6]. 3) When a government subsidy is withdrawn, increasing the market trading price and surplus indicators of pollution rights can promote the stable operation of the third-party governance model. 4) An increase in policy support and administrative accountability of higher levels of government and a reduction in supervision costs for local governments can help these parties effectively avoid addressing the absence of local government supervision. It is recommended that third-party governance enterprises participate in pollution rights trading to implement the main responsibilities of pollution-discharging and pollution-control enterprises and to set a reasonable revenue-sharing coefficient and reward and punishment distribution coefficient of pollution rights. Background: Opioid use disorder (OUD) is common among individuals who are incarcerated. However, OUD treatment services are sparse in smaller county jails found in many rural areas, which limits a healthy and supportive jail environment. This study assesses the facilitators of and barriers to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) adoption or expansion in rural Colorado jails. A qualitative descriptive design was implemented during the summer of 2022 using semi-structured interviews with jail staff, sheriffs, and contracted personnel. Interview questions focused on facilitators of existing MOUD services and barriers to adopting or expanding services. To identify the facilitators and barriers, data were coded using thematic analysis. Results: Seven jails were included in the study. Representatives from each jail participated in the seven interviews, which often included multiple participants per interview. Three of the jails had established routine practices for MOUD administration. Two jails occasionally administered MOUD or had plans in place to be able to administer, while the remaining two did not offer any MOUD. While administrative support, collaborative partnerships, and jail nurses facilitated MOUD use, barriers were more prevalent, including physical space limitations, distance to services, lack of providers in the area, staffing and training issues, funding/budget issues, and perceived risk of diversion. Conclusion: Making MOUD available to people who are incarcerated is an important and timely step in enhancing the jail environment, especially in rural areas that often lack access to MOUD. As states look to require MOUD availability for people who are incarcerated, facilitators to MOUD adoption/expansion can be leveraged while strategies are needed to overcome barriers. Nursing is considered indigent and oppressed because of uneven organizational hierarchies and unsatisfactory work environments. This study aimed to highlight the critical aspects of organizational culture in the nursing profession and, in general, those propagating hostile behaviours among female nursing staff that result in dissatisfaction and intention to leave the organization. A quantitative research approach was applied and a survey research strategy was used to collect the data. Convenience sampling was applied and data were collected from female nurses who were easily accessible and willing to participate in the research. A total of 707 questionnaires were collected from 14 hospitals and the data was analyzed using SmartPLS 4. Lack of administrative support and gender discrimination positively affected person-related hostility. In contrast, person-related hostility mediated the relationship between gender discrimination and lack of administrative support with the intention to leave. Direct or indirect person-related hostility factors can severely damage organizational reputation and quality and may cause the loss of employees with specific organizational knowledge and exposure. Losing an experienced employee to a newer one cannot replace the costs incurred on hiring, training, and providing knowledge to older employees. HR managers in organizations should devise strategies and policies that allow for the timely resolution of issues of nursing staff based on fair work performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Every moment counts (EMC) is a multi‐tiered mental health promotion initiative designed to build the capacity of practitioners to address the mental health needs of children and youth in school settings. This study evaluated the impact and cultural relevance of EMC workshops in supporting practitioners to apply a public health approach to children's mental health in Aotearoa New Zealand. A longitudinal mixed methods design employed a survey and semi‐structured interviews to evaluate the applicability, impact and cultural relevance of the EMC workshops. Themes identified from participants' reflections on their experiences of implementing EMC represented everyday practices at individual, team, and organizational levels. Specifically, intersectorial collaboration was perceived as beneficial. There is a call to action for practitioners to work more cohesively and interprofessionally, at policy and practice levels, to effectively promote children's mental health and achieve equitable health and well‐being outcomes. Communities of practice offer a potential mechanism to support translation of knowledge into practice in schools. Application of a public health approach to children's mental health in schools, facilitated by the EMC initiative, is applicable and positively impacts outcomes in Aotearoa New Zealand, with some modifications needed to better fit the cultural context. Street space plays a crucial role in human activity and social life, forming an essential component of a livable and sustainable built environment. Consequently, its quality has garnered significant attention from researchers, designers, and policymakers who aim to achieve precise assessments of street infrastructure and conditions. This study presents a multi-dimensional framework for evaluating street space, considering factors such as access frequency, environmental quality, and amenity richness. By utilizing city-level path planning data, street view imagery, point of interest data, and social media check-in data, this framework assesses each street and assigns scores across these dimensions. These scores facilitate a human-centered analysis of the disparities in street usage and quality. The aggregation of results by administrative regions supports effective policy formulation and implementation. Application of this framework in Xi'an, China, reveals that only 6.95% of frequently visited streets exhibit high environmental quality and functional richness. The study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology focuses on the validation of Thai versions of the sensitive scale (SS) and the burden of sensitive skin (BoSS) questionnaires for assessing sensitive skin in the Thai population. The study, conducted at the Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, recruited 100 Thai patients to establish the reliability and validity of the translated questionnaires. Results showed that the Thai versions of the SS-14, SS-10, and BoSS questionnaires demonstrated reliability and validity, making them useful tools for evaluating sensitive skin conditions in the Thai population. The article discusses a study on granulomatous skin reactions in tattoos associated with BRAF/MEK inhibitor therapy for metastatic melanoma. Despite the growing evidence supporting the benefits of coordinated specialty care (CSC) for early psychosis, access to this multimodal, evidence-based program in the United States has been hindered by a lack of funding for core CSC services and activities. The recent approval of team-based reimbursement codes by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has the potential to fund substantially more CSC services for clients with insurance coverage that accepts the new team-based billing codes. Using novel US Department of Labor administrative records, the authors test theoretical mechanisms to account for variation in immigrant workers' starting salaries following key career transitions. Specifically, they examine differences in the base starting salaries and discretionary starting salary increases above these base starting salaries for 1) same-establishment hires, relative to 2) US-based establishment transfers, 3) international establishment transfers, 4) US-based external hires, and 5) international external hires. In support of the "insider premium" account, findings show that same-establishment hires tend to work in jobs with greater requirements, and thus higher base starting salaries. In partial support of the "outsider premium" account, findings show that US-based external hires receive larger starting salary increases than do same-establishment hires, conditional on the jobs they enter. This said, international external hires receive smaller starting salary increases than do same-establishment hires. Systematic reviews, along with other types of knowledge synthesis, are a type of research methodology that attempt to find all available evidence on a topic to help answer specific questions. Librarian involvement in systematic reviews is well established in the health sciences, and in recent years there has been growing awareness of, and literature about, librarians outside of health supporting systematic reviews. This study benchmarks librarian support of systematic reviews in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences (SHSS) by looking at the growth of demand for support, the disciplines requesting this kind of librarian support, and the specific types of support needed. Background: Introducing innovations in the healthcare sector often involves testing groundbreaking solutions, ranging from advanced diagnostic technologies to new therapies and modern patient data management systems. Thorough and systematic risk monitoring not only enhances the chances of project success but also constitutes a crucial element in building trust in innovative healthcare solutions. Aim of the study: presenting and discussing risks and risk management strategies in a pilot project implementing telemedical solutions in the field of pulmonology. Materials and methods: The paper analyzed key risks along with remedial actions taken during the implementation of a pilot telemedical project in the field of pulmonology. Systematic analyses covered technological, financial, legal, organizational, external, clinical, and competency areas. The description of a specific project case was used, along with a narrative of personal experiences during its execution in the given year. Results: The telemedical project for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COpd), focusing on clinical assessment and observation of spirometric parameters, aimed to address the challenges related to the care of individuals with COpd. The innovative aspects of the pilot project were emphasized, along with its potential impact on improving pulmonological care. The paper discusses aspects related to risk management and remedial actions, identifying areas where the project could serve as a model for further research and practices in the field. Conclusions: The coordination of medical teams, primary care physicians, pulmonology specialists, and nurses with strong and multifaceted administrative support constituted a key element of remedial actions. This collaboration enabled effective counteraction against potential negative consequences of testing telemedical solutions in pulmonology by implementing appropriate corrective measures and efficient remedial actions. Introduction: Clerical staff are an essential part of the healthcare team, as they provide administrative and organizational support to healthcare institutions. The aim of this study is to determine the impact of a basic one-hour online training course on patient safety for these staff. Method: A quasi-experimental pre/post study carried out in a population of 170 administrative staff working in the centers of an Occupational Mutual Insurance Company (MC Mutual) who completed the patient safety training. A convenience sample of 22 administrative professionals, who agreed to participate, was chosen from this population, which made it possible to test their knowledge before and after the course, by examination (P1, P2) and interview, immediately after the course and at 6 months (E1, E2, E3). Results: Of the 170 professionals participating in the course, 167 (98.2%) completed the initial test and the post-test, with mean scores increasing from 5.7 (P1) to 7.3 (P2) (p<0.05). A total of 22 out of a sample of 42 (52.4%) agreed to participate in the interviews and all three interviews were completed by 21 (E1), 22 (E2) and 19 (E3) professionals, whose mean scores increased from 5.9 (E1) to 7.2 (E2) and 7.5 (E3) (p<0.05). Conclusions: The results suggest that the training course was effective. The evaluation by interview 6 months after the course indicates a likely medium to long term effect. The involvement of administrative professionals in the company's patient care is key. Evaluating the impact of an intervention is essential to inform its effectiveness and guide its planning.. While high-stakes testing has influenced music teacher evaluation, evidence of music teacher agency influencing the policy process has been scarce. One notable exception is the Tennessee Fine Arts Portfolio Model (TNFAPM), designed by music teachers in Tennessee as an alternative to music teacher evaluations that have been based, at least in part, on reading and math test scores. In place for nine years, the model is one of the few peer-reviewed teacher evaluation initiatives that has been in continuous use in public schools, enabling researchers to examine music teacher perceptions of evaluation in Tennessee, including perceptions of the portfolio. The purpose of this study was to examine two music teachers' perceptions regarding the different means of teacher evaluation (student reading/math test scores and the TNFAPM) used within the state of Tennessee. After analyzing data collected during the study, I sought to answer the following question: How have teacher evaluation practices and policies impacted music teachers' self-perceptions, classroom policies, and curriculum implementation in Tennessee? Findings suggest that administrative support, feedback delivery/reception, and value for music making shaped the participants' perceptions, policies, and classroom practices. During the pandemic, the demand for professionalism has become a new administrative workload for teachers in their academic careers. The biggest source of stress for teachers comes from the lack of administrative support; it amounts to 34% and is the number one cause of stress. For example, many teachers in Indonesia work in remote and geographically challenging areas far from the government offices that oversee them. This study examines the model and strategies for effective administrative services to support teachers in the new normal. A descriptive analysis was employed for the study. Data were collected from participatory observations and semi-structured interviews with 8 key informants at 4 education offices at a regency level. It was supported by an inductive analysis to answer the question related to the extent to which the online-based performance report service could reduce teachers' workload and help for better recording of performance data. The findings implied that the online-based performance report service could reduce the problem in the direct or offline system of teacher administration services. The program will be successful under 3 main aspects of suitability: (1) between the program and its benefits, (2) between the program and the implementation, and (3) between the program and the implementing organizations. In conclusion, the online-based administration system will be effective if inhibiting factors are eliminated, including the long bureaucratic process and dual loyalty in our education sector. Clinical training in the teaching practice is essential for developing patient-specific skills, yet the transition from preclinical to clinical training presents significant challenges for students. This study aimed to comprehend the challenges and issues faced by students at the onset of clinical training. It retrospectively investigated adverse events presented at the advanced dentistry course by third-year pre-doctoral students from classes 202A, 202B, and 202C during their initial ten months of clinical practice at the teaching institution. In this study, adverse events were defined as any undesirable experiences or incidents associated with a clinical treatment and administrative procedures. A total of 279 adverse events presented were categorized into eight disciplines: Treatment planning (TP), Operative (OP), Periodontics (PER), Endodontics (EN), Oral Surgery (OS), Fixed Prosthodontics (FP), Removable Prosthodontics (RP), and Patient Management (PM). The distribution of events was as follows: TP (11.5%), OP (17.7%), PER (13.1%), EN (6.9%), OS (6.2%), FP (24.2%), RP (5.0%), and PM (15.4%), with FP, OP and PM experiencing the highest rates of adverse events. The distribution pattern within the disciplines was consistent, and no statistical difference was observed. Across these disciplines, a lack of clinical skill competency was identified as a primary cause of adverse events. Other contributing issues included miscommunication, insufficient explanations to patients, a lack of administrative support, case complexity, and a deficit in diagnostic examinations and skills. The frequency of causes varied across the three classes, but no significant differences was noted in OP, FP and OS, in which over 80% of causes were related to clinical skill competency. Adverse events in clinical settings are frequent. Knowing these beforehand can aid students' performance. Students should prepare thoroughly before clinical practice and understand common causes of errors. Educators should recognize the challenges inexperienced students encounter. Anticoagulation is a leading cause of medication‐related harm. As a result, there is increasing recognition of the importance of the development of anticoagulation stewardship programs to ensure safe and effective anticoagulation use across health care settings. Securing administrative leadership support to build such programs is a necessary first step but is often a significant barrier to implementation. Herein, we present a structured approach to guide providers advocating to leadership for stewardship programs at their institutions. We divide the approach into four phases: (1) Build the foundation, (2) Select stewardship initiatives, (3) Develop implementation plans, and (4) Prepare and present a business plan. Within each phase, we outline specific actions to consider, all leading up to the end goal of creating a compelling business plan to generate administrative leadership buy‐in. We also provide resources to promote the understanding of institutional needs as well as broader trends across health systems that influence stewardship program development. Our aim is to provide stewardship advocates with the tools to effectively secure leadership support to facilitate the development of Anticoagulation Stewardship Programs across all health care institutions. Purpose: The study aims to explore the effectiveness of performance-oriented practices like high-performance work practices (HPWPs) in higher education (HE), given its explicit focus on performance these days. Design/methodology/approach: The study uses hierarchical linear modeling using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS 22.0) to test the hypotheses. An intertwined framework of the ability–motivation–opportunity (AMO) model and the job demand-resources (JD-R) model was proposed. The study considered strategic hiring, recognition and participatory decision-making as ability, motivation and opportunity-enhancing practices respectively. Further, the study addressed the impact of institutional level moderators, like administrative workload (AWL) and support staff (SS). Findings: The findings based on the responses of 385 faculties and 443 students from 36 Indian institutes, indicated that HPWPs enhanced the education performance (EP) of HE institutes. Further, results revealed that both AWL and SS had differential effects on the relationship between HPWPs and EP. Contrary to authors' expectations, SS showed a negative effect of the relationship between HPWPs and EP. Research limitations/implications: The increased AWL was debilitating the beneficial effects HPWPs. The negative interaction effect of SS sheds light on the hidden issues surrounding SS in HE institutes. Based on findings, the study offered important theoretical and practical implications. Originality/value: To the best of authors' knowledge, the impact of innovative human resource (HR) practices in academia remains relatively under-researched, and the current study is an attempt to fill this void. This study builds on the long-identified gap between the marketing industry and marketing academia. The research investigates the relationship between resource-based factors and marketing faculty's intention to use marketing analytics technology. The theoretical framework for this study is the concerns-based adoption model (CBAM). Resource-based factors explored included technical support, managerial support, financial support, and time. The methodology included a randomized sample of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) marketing faculty, and the statistical analysis used was multiple regression. Perceived technical support, time to integrate technology, and administrative support are all related to the intention to use marketing analytics technology. Overall, these results indicate that administration within AACSB business schools should consider the resources faculty need to adopt marketing analytics technology into the marketing curriculum, and faculty should consider methods to advocate for such resources.
