1. Linear porokeratosis of Mibelli and DSAP.

Abstract

Linear porokeratosis and disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (DSAP) are clinical variants of porokeratosis. We report the rare coexistence of these two variants. Porokeratosis is a genodermatosis which has at least five different clinical variants; Mibelli, linear, DSAP, plantaris palmaris et disseminata, and punctate (Wade & Ackerman, 1980). All of these manifest the distinctive peripheral keratotic ridge which histologically corresponds to the cornoid lamella. Although lesions of porokeratosis of Mibelli and linear porokeratosis are sometimes seen together in individuals, the coexistence of other porokeratotic variants is rare. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article focuses on several meetings related to dermatology. 3rd Dermatopathology Colloquium will be held between March 18-19, 1995 in Giessen, Germany. Professor A.B. First Regional Clinicopathological Colloquium of the International Society of Dermatopathology will be held in Reykjavik, Iceland between June 30 and July 1, 1995.
