The β decays of more than twenty fission fragments were measured in the first experiments with radioactive-ion beams employing the Decay Total Absorption γ-ray Spectrometer. In this work, we summarize the main results obtained so far from this experimental campaign carried out at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line facility. The advances introduced for these studies represent the state-of-the-art of our analysis methodology for segmented spectrometers. peerReviewed

We calculated the Maxwellian-averaged cross sections (MACS) and astrophysical reaction rates of the stellar nucleosynthesis reactions (n,$\gamma$), (n,fission), (n,p), (n,$\alpha$) and (n,2n) using the ENDF/B-VII.0-, JEFF-3.1-, JENDL-3.3-, and ENDF/B-VI.8-evaluated nuclear-data libraries. Four major nuclear reaction libraries were processed under the same conditions for Maxwellian temperatures ({\it kT}) ranging from 1 keV to 1 MeV. We compare our current calculations of the {\it s}-process nucleosynthesis nuclei with previous data sets and discuss the differences between them and the implications for nuclear astrophysics., Comment: 148 pages, 26 figures

The National Nuclear Data Center collects, evaluates, and disseminates nuclear physics data for basic nuclear research and applied nuclear technologies. We have recently produced a nuclear data portal featuring modern and powerful servers, relational database software, Linux operating system, and Java programming language. The portal includes nuclear structure, decay and reaction data, as well as literature information. Data can be searched for using optimized query forms; results are presented in tables and interactive plots. Additionally, a number of nuclear science tools, codes, applications, and links are provided. A brief tutorial of the different databases and products will be provided.
