The aim of the work to determine the dynamic characteristics of overall physical condition indicators in 11–13-year-old female weightlifters after injuries of the musculoskeletal system at the training stage of physical therapy. Materials and methods. The experimental population comprised 45 female weightlifters (aged 11–13 years, qualification ‒ I, II, III junior categories) from SСYSSOR “Spartak” of the Zaporizhzhia regional council, CYSS “Kolos” of Kamiansko-Dniprovskyi district of Zaporizhzhia region, Berdiansk CYSS of Zaporizhzhia Region City Council, and students of Kharkiv Regional Higher School of Physical Culture and Sports majoring in weightlifting. Patients after musculoskeletal injuries were divided into two groups: main (MG, n = 22) and control (CG, n = 23). Patients of the control group underwent standard treatment (generally prescribed in medical establishments). For main group patients in the training period, the program of physical therapy has been developed and implemented, with the current control of overall physical condition indicators. Research methods. Analysis of literature and sources of information presented on the Internet; clinical observations; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics. Results. Analysis of overall physical condition indicators of athletes of 11–13-year-old weightlifters of the main and control groups during the recovery and training periods allows us to state that main group athletes have higher growth rates, and dynamic characteristics of their overall physical condition are linear with constant focus on improvement. According to the indicators of “running 30 m, s” test, the following growth indicators were recorded: main group athletes (-0.48), control group athletes (-0.29), the difference (-0.19). According to the indicators of “standing long jump, cm” test, the following growth indicators were recorded: main group athletes (+14), control group athletes (+5), difference (+9). According to the results of the test “flexion-extension of the arms in the supine position, n” the following indicators were obtained: main group athletes (+4.44), control group athletes (+2.86), difference (+1.58). Conclusions. Intensification of the training process and forcing the training of junior athletes in weightlifting are the leading factors that result in injuries of the musculoskeletal system, multisystem pathologies and the development of pathomorphic phenomena. Indicators of overall physical condition of weightlifters aged 11–13 allow us to state that main group athletes have a higher difference in growth, and the tendency of their overall physical condition has a linear focus on improvement. Indicators of overall physical condition of control group athletes are nonlinear, according to “running 30 m, s” and “standing long jump, cm” the test results.

The aim. To determine the impact of implementing the extra early mobilization protocol (EEM) on the length of intensive care unit (LICU) stay and postoperative unit (LPOU) stay and to assess the role of age, heart contractility, functional class and surgical outcomes. Materials and methods. Participants – adult patients of 2018–2019 with less than 24-hour artificial lung ventilation (ALV). The first group were treated according to the early mobilization protocol (EM, patients of 2018); the second group were treated according to the EEM protocol (patients of 2019). Design: a retrospective analysis. Settings: cardiosurgical unit. Interventions: the major difference is that the resources of patient mobilization team have expanded since 2019, namely it included a physical therapist, which made it possible to modify the EM protocol (standing on the 2 postoperative day (POD), activation with the help of medical staff, respiratory exercise) to the EEM protocol (standing on the 1 POD following consultation with an anesthesiologist, exercises with a physical therapist, respiratory exercise). The main outcomes: LICU, LPOU and total postoperative hospitalization (LTPO) (number of nights). Results. There were no differences between the EEM and EM groups in LICU (3 (2; 4) vs. 2 (2; 4); P = 0.182), LPOU (7 (6; 10) vs. 8 (6; 10); P = 0.118), LTPO (10 (8; 13) vs. 10 (9; 13); P = 0.308). Correlation analysis revealed absence, weak and very weak relations between the LICU, LPOU, LTPO indicators and other criteria, including age, ejection fraction, ALV. Conclusions. The effectiveness of the EEM protocol seems doubtful to reduce LICU, LPOU, and LTPO as compared to the EM protocol. The obtained results also raise the importance of physical therapist time management.

The purpose of the work is to evaluate the effectiveness of a comprehensive program of physical therapy in patients after surgical reconstruction of the Achilles tendon. Materials and methods. Subjects population comprises 58 patients (aged 34–57 years), including 39 (67.24 %) males and 19 (32.76 %) females, who were up to the surgical restoration of the Achilles tendon. All patients were divided into two groups: the main group (MG, n = 29) and the control one (CG, n = 29). Research methods embraced a review of scientific literature presented on the Internet; experimental research of ascertaining and formative orientation; pedagogical observation; goniometry, plantodynamometry, modified Romberg test; methods of mathematical statistics. Results. After surgery, the angle of plantar flexion was better (P < 0.01) in MG patients compared with CG patients (4 weeks): 29.1 ± 1.19° and 28.1 ± 1.13°. However, statistically significant differences between MG and CG patients in subsequent measurements were not found (P > 0.05). The percentage values of the load distribution on the operated extremity had improved by the final measurement date (16 weeks), which reduced the difference in the load distribution on the extremities to 9.20 ± 3.09 % in MG patients and up to 14.60 ± 2.98 % in CG patients (Me (25 %; 75 %) ) ‒ 8 (6; 12) % and 16 (12; 18) %). The indicators of the final performance of Romberg test were significantly better in MG patients, making 11.4 ± 2.13 s, which is 2.5 seconds better than in CG patients (P < 0.01). Conclusions. Dynamic characteristics of plantar flexion were restored by the following means: adaptive physical exercises and corrective gymnastics, different walking exercises, exercises with fitball, exercises on an exercise bike and step platforms, hydrotherapeutic exercises, orthopedic shoes, physiotherapeutic methods, and massage. The proposed comprehensive program is effective and can be used for post-surgical physical therapy in patients diagnosed with Achilles tendon rupture.

The aim of the work was to evaluate the effectiveness of a physical therapy program for athletes specializing in team sports games with diaphysis fractures of the shin after intramedullary osteosynthesis. Materials and methods. Experimental studies were conducted with athletes in game sports (n = 58) with diaphyseal fractures of the tibia, who were treated in the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Clinical Hospital № 7, Kyiv, SI “Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics NAMS of Ukraine”, sports clinic injuries of NUFVSU during 2014–2019. Methods of analysis and generalization of literature sources were used; method of anthropometric measurements to determine the comprehensiveness of a healthy and injured limb; goniometry method for measuring the available range of motion in the knee joint of a healthy and injured limb; myotonometry method to determine the tone of the quadriceps femoris; testing to calculate the symmetry index of the lower extremities (LSI ‒ Lower Extremity Symmetry Index); methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The developed complex program of physical therapy is a cycle of restorative measures that meet the achievement of previous functionality, meets the requirements for the level of motor skills, general and special physical performance of athletes, and meets their personal ideas about the quality of life. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the physical therapy program allows us to state that in BG the normative values were reached by 25 out of 29 athletes (86.21 %), in CG ‒ 19 athletes out of 29 (65.52 %), which indicates the high efficiency of the proposed physical therapy program. Conclusions. In the process of forming physical therapy programs for patients ‒ athletes with diaphysis fractures of the tibia after intramedullary osteosynthesis, therapeutic exercises should be grouped depending on the specific objectives of rehabilitation measures and their predominant focus: to restore motor function; to restore general physical fitness; to restore special physical fitness; to restore basic motor skills and abilities; to restore special motor skills and abilities in accordance with the specifics of training and competitive activities in sports games.

Aim. To define the quality of life in outpatients with the orthopedic profile disorders and to study its dynamics during the physical therapy course depending on the disorder localization and psychotype. Material and methods. The study involved 113 patients enrolled in a course of physical therapy at FESCO Medical Center in 2013–2015. Patients were grouped by the disorder localization and psychotype of the disease. The quality of life assessment was performed using the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire. The course of physical therapy consisted of 12–15 sessions (40–60 minutes; therapeutic physical exercises and mechanotherapy according to a complex ordered by a doctor), physiotherapy (magnetic therapy, electromyostimulation as instructed) and massage (7–8 procedures). The course duration was 5–6 weeks. Results. Statistically worse initial results were found in patients with lumbar disorders, disorders in the pelvic girdle and the lower extremity on the “mobility”, “pain/discomfort”, and EQ-VAS scales compared with patients who had upper-body disorders. Differences in “anxiety/depression” and EQ-VAS scales were obtained when dividing patients according to a psychotype. In patients with rational disease perception, the analysis of dynamics revealed better changes and final results on the “anxiety/depression” scale compared with the group of irrational psychotypes. The dynamics on other scales also showed benefits in patients with rational disease perception, although no significant. Conclusions. The data obtained indicate that not only localization but also features of disease perception affect the quality of life and the effectiveness of physical therapy. The prospects for further research are identifying directions to improve the dynamics through the introduction of new physical therapy tools and methods of their use as well as techniques of managing the physical therapy process.

The purpose of the work is to evaluate the degree of dynamic recovery of the movements of the operated limb during the second period of rehabilitation by means of physical therapy in patients who underwent hip replacement and strengthening of the capsule-ligament apparatus with a polypropylene mesh. Materials and methods. A retrospective study of case histories, radiographs, and laboratory data of 47 patients requiring restoration or strengthening of the hip capsule was performed, of which primary endoprosthesis was performed in 26 (55.3 %) patients, and revision in 21 (44.7 %). Among the studied patients, 27 patients (57.4 %) were male, 20 patients (42.6 %) – female. The average age of the patients was 57 years (from 20 to 86 years). Results. Based on the analysis of the results of the study, we note that the quality of life of patients in both groups, the overall subjective condition of the joint, the volume of movements of the operated limb, as well as the evaluation of clinical and functional outcomes of treatment on the Harris Hip Score (HHS) directly correlate with performance preoperative exercises of a therapeutic nature and adherence to the postoperative rehabilitation program of physical therapy. Such correlation is more significant at 12 months after surgery, at 24 months of observation the indexes of the operated hip joint in the two groups of patients were not significantly different: 65.3 % of the observation group and 52.2 % of the comparison group at 12 months after surgery and 91.3 % and 81.0 % after 24 months, respectively. Conclusions. The use of polypropylene mesh to strengthen the posterior capsule ligaments of the hip joint enhances the functionality of the operated limb and restores patients overall, accelerates the physical rehabilitation process after discharge from the hospital. The expediency of careful preoperative preparation of patients and active management of the postoperative period (complexes of therapeutic exercises, informing of patients) is proved.

Purpose. The study of clinical features of the course of bronchial asthma and the study of the effectiveness of the use of therapeutic measures with the involvement of physical therapy in children living in Zaporizhzhia and from the Zaporizhzhia region, taking into account their physical development and indices of the initial vegetative tonus and vegetative provision. Materials and Methods. According to the set task, the first group of observation included 87 children with bronchial asthma (BA) living in Zaporizhzhia, 57 of which were boys and 30 girls, and the second group consisted of 40 children with BA from the Zaporizhzhia region, 24 of which were boys and 16 girls. As a comparison, 56 practically healthy children (31 boys and 25 girls) who formed the control groups (CGs) were examined. Thus, 29 of them (16 boys and 13 girls) from Zaporizhzhia made the CGI and 27 children (15 boys and 12 girls) from Zaporizhzhia region were included in CGII. The average age of the examined children was 11.40 ± 3.68 years. To evaluate the effectiveness of physical therapy in children with bronchial asthma, their catamnestic observation has been conducted for at least 2 years. Statistical data processing was performed by commonly used methods of variation statistics of the licensed software package Statistica for Windows 13 (StatSoft Inc., № JPZ804I382130ARCN10-J). Results. Bronchial asthma in children, irrespective of place of residence, clinical course and severity, was characterized by a mild and moderate persistent course in 50.57% and 40.23 % of urban and 47.50 % and 45.00 % of regional patients with obstructive type of violation of bronchial conduction. Physical development of children with bronchial asthma, grown up in the conditions of district centers, had more often harmonious physical development (85.00 %) than patients from the city (56.32 %) (P < 0.05), and, on the contrary, disharmonious prevailed in urban patients (43.68 %) and was less common in regional (15.00 %) patients, mainly in boys (59.65 % vs. 16.67 %, P < 0.05). In all patients with bronchial asthma, unlike healthy children from control group, eutonia (34.48 % and 42.50 %) was rarely recorded but more often sympathicotonia (33.33 % and 32.50 %) and vagotonia (32.18 % and 25.00 %) with a significant difference with the control group of the regional children with asthma for the hypersympathicotonic version of vegetative provision and in urban areas for sympathoasthenic, asthenosympathetic and hyperdiastolic variants. Conclusions. The use of physical therapy in the treatment of children with bronchial asthma has significantly reduced complaints, disease symptoms, accelerated remission and increased its duration to 24 months and reduced the risk of transformation of the disease into more severe forms.

The aim of the study – to evaluate the psychological approach to the social and psychological rehabilitation of paralympic athletes negatively experienced subjective loneliness. Materials and methods are based on theoretical and empirical data, which include the history of the loneliness phenomenon and its modern understanding study. Negative experiences requiring rehabilitation were determined using psychological methods: “Questionnaire for determining the type of loneliness” (S. Korchaginа), “Methods for the subjective feeling of loneliness” (D. Russell, M. Ferguson), “Methods for diagnosing character accentuations” (Leonhard-Shmishyok in the modification A. Lychko), test “Neuropsychic Adaptation” (S. Korchagina at V. Bekhterev Research Institute) with subsequent computer processing of the results using the software package Statistica 6.0 (StatSoft Inc., USA). The study enrolled 50 paralympic athletes aged 18 to 24, who were engaged in powerlifting. Results. Significant intercorrelations between subjective feelings of loneliness and its varieties were found (r = 0.3–0.5) based on the Pearson correlation coefficient, which allowed to consider subjective loneliness as an independent internal phenomenon. The experience of diffuse loneliness did not reveal a significant correlation (r = -0.153) with the subjective state of paralympic athletes. Two directions, which provide a mechanism of development and rehabilitation taking into account the type of loneliness, were identified. The first was the desire to be with others, identification with them through the correction of their own personality. The second one, as a result of the first, was the coping with feeling of loneliness and lack of meaning in life. Conclusions. It was established that the feeling of subjective loneliness negative experiences was associated with the deterioration of neuropsychiatric adaptation and required the socio-psychological rehabilitation of paralympic athletes who specialized in powerlifting. The significant positive relationship between diffuse loneliness and the emotional type of character accentuation in an athlete was proved. It was determined that in the process of the negative experiences of subjective loneliness rehabilitation for paralympic athletes specializing in powerlifting, it is important to consider the types of loneliness which are associated with the psychological state deterioration, which will allow to broaden the understanding of this phenomenon and increase in efficiency of rehabilitation measures.

FTIR spectra of a dehydrofluorinated poly(vinylidene fluoride) film were registered at different stages of its aging. A number of spectral features were noticed to grow with the sample aging. Three of them were assigned to the stretching vibrations of triple carbon-carbon bonds. Other bands were assigned to the libration, stretching, and combination vibrations of embedded water clusters consisting of 4, 5, or 6 molecules. The mechanism explaining synchronous formation of triple carbon-carbon bonds and small water clusters in the sample during its aging is proposed. SEM data on the surface morphology of the sample confirm the proposed mechanism.

- Abstract
Hydraulic structures, which are constantly present in bays, are one of the factors affecting the condition of coastal waters. Microperiphyton, which is formed on hydraulic structures in coastal zones with varying degrees of anthropogenic and recreational pressure, has the greatest indicative value. Microbiological studies of periphyton significantly complement the characterization of the ecological state of the coast. This study presents data on the quantitative distribution of heterotrophic and hydrocarbon-oxidizing bacteria in the microperiphyton of silt deposits of the southern breakwater of Sevastopol Bay and the eastern breakwater of Kamyshovaya Bay. The total number of heterotrophic bacteria in the silt deposits of the southern breakwater generally ranged from 103 to 104 cells/ml, while that of the eastern breakwater mainly varied within 103–105 cells/ml. The results obtained indicate that the silty deposits in the considered water areas to the development of the analyzed groups of bacteria participating in the processes of self-purification of water areas, and their number does not depend on the depth. Data analysis showed that the number of heterotrophic bacteria in the eastern breakwater was higher than in the southern breakwater. Seasonal differences in the number of studied groups of bacteria were not revealed. It was found that the processes of self-purification of the marine environment from oil and petroleum products are more active on the outer side of the breakwater, and these processes are more pronounced on the southern breakwater.

Conclusions . The use of physical therapy in the treatment of children with bronchial asthma has significantly reduced complaints, disease symptoms, accelerated remission and increased its duration to 24 months and reduced the risk of transformation of the disease into more severe forms.

A multi-step single-stage method is considered, which allows one to integrate stiff differential equations and systems of equations with high accuracy and low computational costs. The examples show that the proposed method is in solving stiff problems as good as the best available methods. The calculation results allow us to determine the absolute stability domains for the multi-step single-stage method, where it is possible to vary integration step within a wide range while maintaining the computational stability of the method.

Context. The problem of automated development of evaluation programs for the neuroevolution of augmenting topologies. Neuroevolution algorithms apply mechanisms of mutation, recombination, and selection to find neural networks with behavior that satisfies the conditions of a certain formally defined problem. An example of such a problem is finding a neural network that implements a certain digital logic. Objective. The goal of the work is the automated design and generation of an evaluation program for a sample neuroevolution problem (binary multiplexer). Method. The methods and tools of Glushkov’s algebra of algorithms and hyperscheme algebra are applied for the parameterdriven generation of a neuroevolution evaluation program for a binary multiplexer. Glushkov’s algebra is the basis of the algorithmic language intended for multilevel structural design and documentation of sequential and parallel algorithms and programs in a form close to a natural language. Hyperschemes are high-level parameterized specifications intended for solving a certain class of problems. Setting parameter values and subsequent interpretation of hyperschemes allows obtaining algorithms adapted to specific conditions of their use. Results. The facilities of hyperschemes were implemented in the developed integrated toolkit for the automated design and synthesis of programs. Based on algorithm schemes, the system generates programs in a target programming language. The advantage of the system is the possibility of describing algorithm schemes in a natural-linguistic form. An experiment was conducted consisting in the execution of the generated program for the problem of evaluating a binary multiplexer on a distributed cloud platform. The multiplexer example is included in SharpNEAT, an open-source framework that implements the genetic neuroevolution algorithm NEAT for the .NET platform. The parallel distributed implementation of the SharpNEAT was proposed in the previous work of the authors. Conclusions. The conducted experiments demonstrated the possibility of the developed distributed system to perform evaluations on 64 cloud clients-executors and obtain an increase in 60–100% of the maximum capabilities of a single-processor local implementation.

The authors demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the developed hydrodynamic model of the atmosphere, turbulent closure model, approximation methods for first- and second-order derivatives on an irregular grid, and the absolutely stable difference scheme based on the solution of applied problems. The results of mathematical modeling of aerodynamics of street canyons are compared with available theoretical and experimental data. Influence of street canyon length and house height on air flow characteristics in urban areas is investigated. It is shown that changes in the configuration of urban area lead not only to quantitative but also to a significant qualitative variation in air flow pattern and velocity.

Raman spectra of liquid water and ice were measured at different temperatures. The intensity of the band assigned to bending vibrations of water molecules was observed to decrease at the liquid-to-solid transition, while the Raman line near 2200 cm−1 showed an anomalously high intensity in the solid phase. A tetrahedral model was used for computer analysis of the observed spectral changes. Quantum-chemical calculations of the structure, normal vibrations and Raman spectra in the harmonic approximation, as well as frequencies and intensities of some vibrations using 1D and 2D potential energy surfaces, were carried out using B3LYP with the cc-pVTZ basis set. The influence of the number of hydrogen bonds on the frequency and Raman activity of the bending vibrations was analyzed. The possibility of hydrogen bond weakening upon excitation of the combined bending-rocking vibration due to the large amplitude of this vibration is considered.

Auto-tuning for complex and nontrivial parallel systems is usually time-consuming because of empirical evaluation of huge amount of combinations of parameter values of an initial parallel program in a target execution environment. This paper proposes the improvement of the auto-tuning method using statistical modeling and neural network algorithms that allow to reduce significantly the space of possible combinations of parameters values to analyse. The resulting optimization is illustrated by an example of tuning of parallel sorting program, that combines several sorting methods, by means of automatic training of a neural network model on results of “traditional” tuning cycles with subsequent replacement of some auto-tuner calls with an evaluation from the statistical model. Previously calculated multidimensional potential-energy surfaces of the MeOH monomer and dimer, water dimer, malonaldehyde, formic acid dimer, free pyridine-N-oxide/trichloroacetic acid complex, and protonated water dimer were analyzed. The corresponding harmonic potential-energy surfaces near the global minima were constructed for series of clusters and complexes with hydrogen bonds of different strengths based on the behavior of the calculated multidimensional potential-energy surfaces. This enabled the introduction of an obvious anharmonicity parameter for the calculated potential-energy surfaces. The anharmonicity parameter was analyzed as functions of the size of the analyzed area near the energy minimum, the number of points over which energies were compared, and the dimensionality of the solved vibrational problem. Anharmonicity parameters for potential-energy surfaces in complexes with strong, medium, and weak H-bonds were calculated under identical conditions. The obtained anharmonicity parameters were compared with the corresponding diagonal anharmonicity constants for stretching vibrations of the bridging protons and the lengths of the hydrogen bridges.

Infrared absorption spectra of n-hexanol isolated in an argon matrix are recorded at temperatures varying between 20 and 50 K. The temperature evolution of the recorded spectra across several spectral regions is analyzed. The experimental data are interpreted using the results of quantum-chemical modeling [DFT/B3LYP/6-31G (d,p)] of the structure and the vibrational spectra of chain and cyclic clusters that included between one and four hexanol molecules. It is shown that as the temperature of the isolating matrix is increased, there is a gradual transformation of the hexanol cluster structure.

Recorded infrared absorption spectra of water, trapped in an argon matrix at temperatures ranging from 9 to 50 K. The observed spectral bands are assigned to water clusters composed of different numbers of molecules. The temperature dependence of the recorded spectra makes it possible to construct a model of the structural transformations that take place in the water during the phase transition from the gaseous to the condensed state.

The structure and IR absorption spectrum of the formic acid dimer (FAD) were calculated using the B3LYP DFT functional and cc-pVTZ basis set. Matrices of force and anharmonic constants were calculated in order to find the fundamental frequencies more accurately. The 1D and 2D potential energy surfaces (PES) were built using symmetry coordinates and stretching coordinates of С Н and O H bonds. For O H stretching coordinates, the 2D PES were built with and without optimization of the remaining geometric parameters. It was shown that in the second case besides the global minimum, an additional local minimum on the unrelaxed PES is formed with the energy more than 4000 cm−1 higher than the energy of the ground state. A numerical solution of Schrodinger equations gives the values of O H and C H stretching vibrations. Comparison of the obtained theoretical results with the experimental data presented in the literature allowed us to make new assignments for IR and Raman spectral bands related to hydroxyl groups stretching vibrations in FAD.

A new modification of the universal experimental setup for measuring electrodynamic characteristics of microwave generators with open resonance structures of the orotron-diffraction-radiation-generator type is described. To expand the functional capabilities and the electronic frequency-tuning range, an additional periodic metal-dielectric structure is introduced into the open resonator. The experimental results of investigations of the energy, volt-ampere, and frequency characteristics of the modified diffraction-radiation generator prototype are compared to the characteristics of the generator without a metal-dielectric structure.

An explicit multistep one-stage method is considered, which allows numerical integration of the differential equations that constitute the basis of the atmosphere circulation model by transforming the initial---boundary-value convection---diffusion problem to the Cauchy problem. The method has an advantage over the available methods due to its high precision and low computational cost.

IR and Raman spectra of the malonaldehyde molecule and its deuterated analogues were calculated in the B3LYP/cc-pVQZ approximation. Anharmonicity effects were taken into account both in the context of a standard model of the second order perturbation theory and by constructing the potential energy surfaces (PES) with a limited number of dimensions using the Cartesian coordinates of the hydroxyl hydrogen atom and the stretching coordinates of С–Н, C–D, O–H, and O–D bonds. It was shown that in each of the two equivalent forms of the molecule, besides the global minimum, an additional local minimum at the PES is formed with the energy more than 3000 cm −1 higher than the energy in the global minimum. Calculations carried out by constructing the 2D and 3D PESs indicate a high anharmonicity level and multiple manifestations of the stretching О–Н vibrations, despite the fact that the model used does not take into account the splitting of the ground-state and excited vibrational energy levels. In particular, the vibration with the frequency 3258 cm −1 may be associated with proton transfer to the region of a local minimum of energy. Comparing the results obtained with the experimental data presented in the literature allowed us to propose a new variant of bands assignments in IR and Raman spectra of the molecule in the spectral region 2500–3500 cm −1 .
