The study delves into the behavioral shifts observed in "digital students" transitioning from distance to onsite learning during the Generation Z era, influenced significantly by the disruptive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Technological advancements have reshaped students' perspectives, rendering educational and organizational engagements more accessible via platforms like video conferencing. However, the return to onsite learning has prompted a notable culture shock, leading to heightened levels of stress and anxiety among digital students. This research aims to examine the psychological ramifications of stress and anxiety on post-pandemic student attitudes toward extracurricular organizational intention. Employing the depression anxiety stress scale (DASS-42) and conducting multiple linear regression analysis on a sample of 420 respondents, the study reveals a significant negative impact of stress level (-35.6%) on students' intentions to engage in organizational activities. Additionally, anxiety levels contribute to a variation of -6.8%. These findings underscore the intricate relationship between psychological factors and student participation, underscoring the imperative to address stress and anxiety to foster robust involvement in campus organizational endeavors.

The entrepreneurial intention takes a major role in providing a new business creation. Despite major studies that have shown that entrepreneurship education is influential in driving intentions, few discuss this relationship by involving individual entrepreneurial orientation and internship motivation. This study is designed to investigate determinant factors affecting university students’ entrepreneurial intentions. To understand the nexus between entrepreneurship education and college students’ entrepreneurial intention, the hypotheses provide the intermediary role of entrepreneurial orientation, and this study presents evidence from Indonesia on the link between internships and intention for business. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) with partial least squares (PLS), the findings indicate that students’ entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurship education can drive students’ internship motivation and intention for entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it is de monstrated that internship motivation can moderate the link between entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurship education, and university students’ entrepreneurial intention.

To overcome the difficulty and unprecedented suspensions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, every organization is required to consider strategic steps to sustain, one of which is by implementing digital transformation and developing leadership capability. This study aims to determine the impact of digital transformation and leadership capability in maintaining the organization, particularly in distance education. This study used questionnaires distributed to 402 students to obtain their opinions on digital transformation, leadership capability, and organizational resilience in Universitas Terbuka, a founder of distance education institutions in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using descriptive and Higher-Order Structural Equation Modeling analysis. Based on the modelling, it is shown that the modelling had a good value of the Goodness of Fit Indicator through a standardized loading factor (SLF) more than the tolerable loading factor limit (>0.50). The Variance Extracted (VE) and Construct Reliability (CR) values also showed that the questions on every indicator used in this study were sufficiently measurable and reliable. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that there was a positive and significant impact of digital transformation and leadership capability on the organizational resilience of Universitas Terbuka.

Swamp buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) is one of the Indonesian germplasm that adapts well to Borneo Island. This study aimed to determine the genetic diversity, phylogenetic tree, and phylogeographic structure of Bornean swamp buffalo based on control region (D-loop) mitochondrial DNA sequences. A total of 120 animals were collected from three populations in Indonesia, i.e., the North, East, and South of Kalimantan Provinces. Along 1140 bp of D-loop mtDNA gene of Bornean swamp buffaloes was amplified with a design primer of F: 5'-CAA CAC CCA AAG CTG AAG TT-3’ and R: 5'-CGC TCC TCT TAG TCT CGT TG-3’. Therefore, the forward and reverse sequencing was performed to visualize the full length of D-loop mtDNA gene sequence (1140 bp). Results showed that a total of 47 haplotypes were detected in the animal study, with haplotype and nucleotide diversities of 0.936 and 0.005, respectively. Consequently, two haplogroups were observed in the animal study, i.e., Haplogroup A (North) and Haplogroup B (East and South). Based on structure analysis, Bornean swamp buffaloes were comparable to filing swamp buffaloes of China based on structure. According to the analysis of molecular (AMOVA), the geographical component contributed over 56.44% of the total mtDNA sequence variations. In conclusion, it was discovered that the haplogroups of buffalo from the East and South populations were identical.

Finding a way out for new business creation has been a global issue, and the Indonesian government has responded to this issue by promoting entrepreneurship programs for students. For this matter, understanding the role of the entrepreneurial ecosystem can be used to design and promote business for university students. This study employed structural equation modeling with partial least squares to raise understanding among variables. This study involved an entrepreneurial ecosystem to explain the intention of Indonesian university students to do business. The findings indicate that the entrepreneurial ecosystem robustly links with students' entrepreneurial intention and new business creation. This study confirms that access to finance, government programs, support, access to physical infrastructure factors, education, and training factors are crucial for determining Indonesian university students' business. The theoretical and practical implications were provided in this research.

For more than a decade, the Financial Technology (FinTech) industry has been growing, and it has reshaped how payments were made and brought new financial service products to the market. FinTech has created innovative disruptions to traditional, long-established financial institutions (e.g., banks and investment firms) in financial services markets. The worldwide blooming of FinTech has caused universities around the globe to teach their students (particularly those in the IT and finance disciplines) about practical and contemporary knowledge on FinTech. This paper discusses our recent survey study to investigate the status quo of offering FinTech education and training by Australian universities. Our study involved two rounds of online data collection (one in November 2021 and the other one in June 2022) from 41 sample universities in Australia. Among our various findings, we observed that, although Australian universities are increasingly aware of the importance of and the demand for FinTech studies, FinTech has still not yet become a mainstream study discipline. This observation indicates that, in Australia, FinTech studies have generally gone through the inception stage and entered the growth stage.

Augmented Reality (AR) can positively impact learning and provide authentic experiences in the form of simulations by increasing enthusiasm for learning and activities in the classroom. This research aims to develop the design and effectiveness of the Augmented Reality Greenhouse Effect (ARGE) Integration Model Physics Independent Learning (MPIL) and explore the results of the product and their application in physics learning. The ARGE application will be implemented in universities located in the central part of Indonesia ARGE presents a simulation of learning tools to train lecturers and students with the implementation of AR technology, which aims to transfer real learning experiences to understand the concept of the Greenhouse Effect. The research method chosen in the ADDIE method was carried out on 127 students and integrated with MPIL. The number of these students participated in research, where they were divided into three student groups: (i) Semester 3 (N= 42), (ii) Semester 5 (N= 42), and (iii) Semester 7 (N= 43). After 12 weeks of lectures, most students stated a significant positive confirmation of ARGE implantation. These results revealed that the application of ARGE MPIL based on testing the effects of the product by students had excellent practicality in teaching in relevance with a percentage of 92.38%. Then the self-confidence aspect obtained a percentage of 94.29%, and the satisfaction aspect received a percentage of 97.14%. The ARGE design is integrated with MPIL developed to properly simulate the Greenhouse Effect concept. ARGE is effectively categorized as an excellent medium for learning the Greenhouse Effect concept.

Based on the health, safety, and environment (HSE) aspect, specific regulations of CO2 injection wells for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) must be carefully prepared before its implementation.In 2019, the Asian Development Bank as a donor institution provided a technical assistance grant for Battelle Memorial Institute to perform an initial review and evaluation done per field basis of Indonesian first pilot project CO2-EOR and CCUS at Sukowati Field, East-Java. This field has many challenges: reservoir fluid containing 20%–25% CO2 and 3%–4% H2S, total lost circulation issues in interest zones, and complex unsolved problems during the drilling operation.However, based on the industry standards and experiences worldwide, obtaining knowledge, referring to standards, and evaluating per well basis are mandatory to be conducted especially for a pilot project.Therefore, this first per well basis study in Indonesia aimed to improve per field basis Battelle’s review and analyze the results based on the experiences and lesson learned from countries that have applied CO2-EOR/CCUS.The findings of this study can help for a better understanding of the actual condition of the well integrity, particularly related to borehole and casing, and its appropriateness for the planned CO2 injection operation.The results will also be used for designing well integrity and well barrier; thus, well lifetime can be designed based on engineering and economic feasibility. Furthermore, these results will be used to support the regulatory bodies in making regulations for design, operation, lifetime monitoring, and mitigation as well as to be used by the operator.

This study analyzes Indonesian and Malaysian universities in order to evaluate the reality of higher education in both countries, uncover the dynamics and causes influencing higher education, and disclose the similarities and contrasts between the Indonesian and Malaysian systems. Birdy's comparative descriptive method was used. This research relies on trustworthy global rating websites, statistics from the Indonesian and Malaysian Ministries of Higher Education, high-quality publications, and authoritative news. Indonesian higher education is largely entirely supported by the government and tuition fees at private universities. Due to a lack of collaboration between universities and industry groups, Indonesian higher education lacks a connection between scientific research, technical education, and the job market. Unlike Malaysia, it stresses scientific research, community service, and labor market demands. The researchers hypothesized the following processes based on the comparator countries: Adopting a productive university focused on output application via instruction and advice. Community-government and private-sector connections using research to enhance firm products collaboration with a firm or group to provide services that benefit them in exchange for participation in higher education goals, payment of expenditures, and use of outcomes. Through cooperative education, businesses and institutions may train and prepare university students for the job market.

This study is aimed to analyse the comparison of the spray combustion using kapok seed oil and jatropha oil through the combustion length, combustion width and combustion stage by using a video camera with the speed of 420 fps in the spray nozzle tester with a pressure of 2,100 psi. The result of the comparative analysis showed that the spray combustion of kapok seed oil is better than that of jatropha oil; it is found that 1) there is an 11.3 % difference between the maximum spray combustion length of kapok seed oil and jatropha oil, in which the maximum fire ranges of combustion using kapok seed oil and jatropha oil is 136 mm and 121 mm, respectively, 2) there is a 17.95 % difference between the maximum spray width of combustion using kapok seed oil and jatropha oil, in which the maximum fire ranges of combustion using kapok seed oil and jatropha oil are 46 mm and 39 mm, respectively, and 3) the analysis results in the combustion stage shows that there is one combustion stage in the kapok seed oil combustion and four combustion stages in jatropha oil combustion.

This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis techniques, with the aim of testing the structural effect of family support, entrepreneurial training, on entrepreneurial intentions, with self-efficacy and student achievement motivation as mediators. A total of 203 students participated in this study, through a questionnaire distributed online. The SEM analysis was performed using the Amos 24 App. The results showed that the family environment and entrepreneurship training had a direct and indirect effect on entrepreneurial intentions through self-efficacy and student achievement motivation. The model proposed and tested in this study can be a constructive guide for related parties in an effort to promote students' entrepreneurial intentions.

Due to the widespread use of the Internet, digital space has now pervaded schools. This study aimed to investigate student-teachers' perspectives and experiences of digital citizenship through project-based learning in a teacher institution in Indonesia. A case study research design was employed using content analysis to analyze the data from semi-structured interviews, observation, and daily journal report. The results showed that technology overuse requires moral guidance in terms of digital citizenship. The student-teachers viewed that digital citizenship provides some principles that encompass knowledge, skills, and appropriate behavior to use technology safely and responsibly. They asserted that digital citizenship is a necessary skill for prospective teachers, particularly considering the growing demand for schools to develop character education programs that address the topic of student technology use. After engaging in digital-issue-driven project-based learning, the student-teachers opined that project-based learning will be beneficial to learners' autonomy engagement in constructing an understanding of the digital world. Project-based learning also provides opportunities for learners to advance and grow digital skills that are relevant to the 21st century within a real-world context. This study has implications for educators, school principals, and policymakers in ensuring that youths access curricula at all grade levels for them to be able to show appropriate and responsible behavior in both online and offline environments.

The majority of Pasifika students at the University of Otago come from other parts of New Zealand and have to adapt to studying and living in an environment that does not have a strong Pacific culture. These changes potentially affect their education experience and academic performance. Students may form social networks through religious institutions or student associations. Using a brief (10-15 minute) survey, we investigated how religiosity, social provision, and social anxiety as ethnic minorities are associated with perceived academic stress among Pasifika students in our department. We recruited 54 Pasifika students from a cohort of 101 students: 20 male, 33 female, and 1 akava'ine. Male students had higher academic stresses related to academic expectation than female students. Religiosity, social provision, and avoiding interaction with New Zealand European people were all associated with perceived academic stress in our cohort. Students preferred seeking social support from Pasifika friends and family members, and academic support from academic staff, tutorials organised by the University's Pacific Islands Centre, and friends. In conclusion, social factors are associated with academic stress of Pasifika students in the University of Otago. Institutions need to establish strong support infrastructure for ethnic minority students as they may have additional stressors which may affect their study.

Augmented Reality (AR) based learning provides real experiences for educators and new strategies for presenting physics concepts but also provides opportunities for students to interact interactively, spontaneously, and interestingly. Previous research has shown that AR has many advantages in education, but only a few focus on Independent Learning, such as freedom in problem solving and independent learning skills in physics learning. This study develops an Augmented Reality Integration (ARI) learning application based on the Physics Independent Learning (MPIL) model on the marine physics concept. This application is to explore the influence of ARI on 21st-Century Skills (21-CS) which consists of Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity. A Quasi-Experimental Method was used, and 88 students aged 20-22 were randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. After an intervention for 3 weeks, it was found that integrating ARI technology into physics learning can (1) significantly increase students' Creativity Thinking and Critical Thinking on Marine physics concepts; (2) guiding students to further improve in Communication, and Collaboration in solving problems contained in the ARI application; and (3) stimulate students' learning motivation to be enthusiastic about learning physics concepts.

One of the Education for Sustainable Development Goals is to provide equitable and inclusive access to quality education for all. However, some children with special needs, particularly slow learners, have yet to be able to enjoy inclusive and high-quality learning services. This research aims to enhance slow learners' competence by implementing the Realistic Mathematics Education Approach. It is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques including focus group discussion, interview, and learning observation. The analysis involved comparing the principles of Realistic Mathematics Education in theory with those applied by teachers, as well as the learning approach used by teachers with those required by slow learners. The findings indicate that while some teachers have implemented learning based on the principles of Realistic Mathematics Education for all students, there needs to be more focus on interventions specifically tailored to the needs of slow learners. Furthermore, teachers still need to fully understand the services required by slow learners based on their unique characteristics. The implementation of Realistic Mathematics Education to meet the learning needs of slow learners in mathematics has primarily focused on activity and interactivity principles without emphasis on the understanding of concepts to enhance their competence.

The growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) dialogue systems within educational and research settings highlights the importance of learning aids. Despite examination of the ethical concerns associated with these technologies, there is a noticeable gap in investigations on how these ethical issues of AI contribute to students' over-reliance on AI dialogue systems, and how such over-reliance affects students' cognitive abilities. Overreliance on AI occurs when users accept AI-generated recommendations without question, leading to errors in task performance in the context of decision-making. This typically arises when individuals struggle to assess the reliability of AI or how much trust to place in its suggestions. This systematic review investigates how students' over-reliance on AI dialogue systems, particularly those embedded with generative models for academic research and learning, affects their critical cognitive capabilities including decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning. By using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, our systematic review evaluated a body of literature addressing the contributing factors and effects of such over-reliance within educational and research contexts. The comprehensive literature review spanned 14 articles retrieved from four distinguished databases: ProQuest, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science. Our findings indicate that over-reliance stemming from ethical issues of AI impacts cognitive abilities, as individuals increasingly favor fast and optimal solutions over slow ones constrained by practicality. This tendency explains why users prefer efficient cognitive shortcuts, or heuristics, even amidst the ethical issues presented by AI technologies.

Honey has great benefits to humans, both as medicine and food. It contains glucose, fructose and water in addition to small quantities of proteins, minerals, organic acids, and vitamins. Vacuum cooling is a rapid cooling technique based on the principle of evaporation, which lowers the boiling point of water based on the vacuum pressure inside a cooler room. A prototype vacuum-cooling jet water system was used to process the honey. Raw honey obtained from the forests of Riau was used in the present study. This study aimed to determine the effect of jet water vacuum cooling with variations in volume (V/V), capacity (12.5%, 25%, and 50%) on the quality of honey (Apis dorsata Fabricus) to accelerate the cooling process and preserve product quality. The cooling mechanical analysis parameters reviewed included the processing time and the lowest maximum pressure. The parameters of the quality of honey observed included moisture content, viscosity, density and total dissolved solids. As a result, the vacuum cooling process can suppress damage to the quality of honey owing to the heating process. At the cooling time and lowest maximum pressure value, the mechanical aspects of the water jet system vacuum cooling process showed the maximum results. The water contents of 12.5% (V/V), 25% (V/V) and 50% (V/V) filling were 13.69%, 12.89%, and 14.25%, respectively. The viscosities at 12.5% (V/V), 25% (V/V) and 50% (V/V) filling were 2.604 Pa.s, 2.355 Pa.s, and 1.644 Pa.s, respectively. Density with 12.5% (V/V), 25% (V/V) and 50% (V/V) filling were 1.52 g/cm3,1.53 g/cm3 and 1.50 g/cm3, respectively. Total dissolved solid values of honey with 12.5% (V/V), 25% (V/V), and 50% (V/V) fillings were 78.16%, 78.16% and 77.66%, respectively. Water jet vacuum cooling with a 25% chamber volume capacity accelerates honey with the best total dissolved solids, density and moisture content. Vacuum cooling can be used to improve product quality, shorten handling time, extend product shelf life and improve security.
