Land suitability evaluation is a prerequisite for sustainable agricultural production. This study was focused to assess land suitability analysis for coffee Arabica production in Gidami district, western Ethiopia. GIS and RS techniques with a multi criterion evaluation approach were used for evaluating the land suitability for coffee Arabica production.The evaluation of suitability classes was based on the method described in FAO guideline for land evaluation. Factors that were considered for evaluation of the land suitability for coffee Arabica production were topography (slope, elevation), climate (rainfall and temperature), soil texture, and landscape (land use land cover). The influence of each factor was computed by pair-wise comparison technique (AHP) method. The final coffee Arabica suitability map was developed based on the linear combination of factors with their respective weights in ArcGIS overlay extension. The results for coffee Arabica suitability classes show that highly suitable (S1), moderately suitable (S2) and marginally suitable (S3). From the total land of the study area 34.46 %( 69048.65ha) is high suitable while 114917.33ha (60.69%) and 5369.52ha (2.83%) moderately suitable and marginally suitable for coffee Arabica cultivation respectively. The findings for the research indicate that the study area has a potential area for coffee Arabica production.

Abstract Background Primitive location of melanoma could be a relevant prognostic factor. As regards the scalp, some studies indicate a particularly aggressive biological behaviour for this anatomical localisation. Objectives In this multicentric study, data regarding head–neck melanoma (HNM) have been revised. Methods The design of the study included two main phases. In this retrospective study, data regarding HNM have been collected and analysed. Results In summary, our data suggest that the posterior neck is the area most affected by thicker melanomas. Cheeks and neck melanoma are associated with reduced disease‐free years of life and overall survival compared with all other sites of HNM. Conclusions This study provides useful information in defining the clinical features of HNM, thus improving diagnosis and treatment strategies.

The research was conducted at the Surabaya Embarkation Haji Dormitory with the aim of: mapping potential problems, namely: products, services, management and relevant policies, towards the concept of using Haji dormitories on a par with star hotels to improve the national economy. Problems studied: (1) How to map the potential problem of Haji dormitories equivalent to star hotels to improve the national economy?, (2) What is the concept of using Haji dormitories equivalent to star hotels to improve the national economy? This re-search uses descriptive, qualitative, quantitative methods, star hotel assessment study approaches, as well as community base tourism. Data is analyzed using the theory of hotel and tourism quality standards, and rele-vant theories according to the data found at the research site. Research stages: will produce mapping poten-tial issues and concepts for utilizing Haji dormitories equivalent to star hotels, and strategic policies by formu-lating quality management standards. The results of this research analysis are: Surabaya Haji embarkation dormitories do not meet standards equivalent to star hotels, because there are still many star hotel standard items that have not been met, and if you look at the standard score of a three star hotel between 600-700, and the Surabaya Embarkation Haji Dormitory only meets the score of only 400, or 33.30% less than 100%, with a score range of 1 to 5 then the average score for the Haji dormitory is Surabaya embarkation only reached 3.7. Research is expected to support national economic development programs to increase national income outside of taxes.

This evaluation research aims to analyze the performance achievements of the nine regional development priorities which are translated into programs and activities of basic service obligatory affairs, non-basic service obligatory affairs, and optional affairs. The quantitative data used comes from the District Head's LKPJ 2022. On the other hand, the qualitative data comes from the results of in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and observations, both direct and indirect. Evaluation analysis techniques include four stages, namely need assessment, program planning, formative evaluation, and evaluation. The results of the study show that the performance achievements are in the good category (83.67 percent). The performance results are determined by institutional, bureaucratic, leadership, and strategic factors. Based on these findings, it can be suggested that (a) adequate technical guidelines for the implementation of programs and activities be issued, (b) communication, information, and education on the provisions of the rules that serve as a reference for the implementation of programs and activities to be carried out more intensively, (c) the competency of ASN is continuously improved continuous, planned and integrated, (d) aspects of IQ in the form of vision, PQ in the form of work discipline, EQ in the form of passion and SQ aspects in the form of awareness of conscience need attention in placing leadership positions, and (e) vision and goals Organizations need to be revitalized continuously and adapted to the results of external and internal environmental analysis, and developments in science and technology.

Research presented at conferences may increase context-specific evidence in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where global childhood disease burden is greatest and where massive relative deficits in research persist. Publication of studies presented at conferences is necessary for complete results dissemination. Our objective was to determine the frequency of publication of pediatric global health conference abstracts and to identify factors associated with publication. We conducted a cross-sectional study of abstracts that reported pediatric research conducted in at least one LMIC presented at seven major scientific conferences in 2017, 2018, and 2019. We used PubMed, EMBASE and Google Scholar to search for publications of the results presented as abstracts. We created a Kaplan-Meier curve to determine the cumulative incidence of publications and used predetermined abstract-level factors to create a multivariable Cox proportional hazard model to identify factors associated with time to publication. There were 8,105 abstracts reviewed and 1,433 (17.7%) reported pediatric research conducted in one or more LMICs. The probability of publication of pediatric global health abstracts was 33.6% (95% confidence interval [CI] 31.2-36.1%) at 24 months and 46.6% (95% CI 44.0-49.3%) at 48 months. Abstracts that reported research conducted in East Asia and Pacific (adjusted hazard ratio [aHR] 3.06, 95% CI 1.74-5.24), South Asia (aHR 2.25, 95% CI 1.30-3.91%), and upper-middle-income countries (1.50, 95% CI 1.12-2.02) were published sooner than those that reported research in LMICs in Europe and Central Asia and lower-middle-income countries, respectively. Fewer than half of pediatric global health abstracts were published in peer-reviewed journals up to four years after presentation at international conferences. Efforts are urgently needed to promote the widespread and long-lasting dissemination of pediatric research conducted in LMICs presented as abstracts to provide a more robust evidence base for both clinical care and policy related to child health.

Tourism is expected to contribute to the economic growth in a region and tourism villages are a potential that is being developed by local governments, especially in Bali. Gumbrih Tourism Village has considerable potential in tourist attractions that are offered and has been established as a tourist village in 2017. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that motivate tourists to visit Gumbrih Tourism Village. Factor analysis is used to provide the dimensions that underlie visiting motivation factors. The survey method was conducted and is expected to provide information for village tourism managers. From 98 respondents, it was found that from the eighteen variables used, four factors were formed that motivated tourists to visit the Gumbrih Tourism Village. These four factors are formed from the results of the analysis are the attractions offered, the uniqueness of local products, the ease of access and the protection of reptiles. All variables (% variance) used were able to illustrate the motivation of tourists by 75.72 percent. Knowing the main reasons tourists visit can help the tourist village manager meet the needs and desires of tourists, because tourists want to know something different and unique from the places they visit.

Background: Determining the trends and treatment outcomes of TB in health facilities is very important to inform better management of the disease and control efforts. Nevertheless, data from the rural, urban and suburban settings of Ethiopia show variability and inconsistency. This study was designed to evaluate trends and treatment outcomes of tuberculosis patients at Tepi Health Center and to identify the predictors of unsuccessful treatment outcome. Method: Retrospective review of TB cases registered in Tepi health center between June 2011 and May 2018 was conducted using data extracted from medical records of TB patients. Structured data extraction form was prepared and used to extract socio-demographic, clinical and outcome data of study cases. Case definition and the treatment outcome of patients were ascertained and reported in accordance with World Health Organization guideline. Binary logistic regression model was fit to identify predictors of unsuccessful outcome. Results: A total of 1651 TB patients registered at Tepi Public Health Center in between June 2011 and May 2018, were included in the study. Of all 924 (56%) were males and 1053 (63.8%) cases were in between the age range of 15 and 35 years. HIV-status of 1019 TB cases were unknown and 189 (11.4%) of participants were HIV-positive. Four hundred fifty seven (27.7%) cases were diagnosed with extra pulmonary TB (EPTB) and 1194 (72.3%) were pulmonary TB patients out of which, 376 (73.6%) were smear-positive pulmonary TB (PTB+). Overall treatment success rate (TSR) of patients was 80.4% (1327/1651), while it was 84.8% (134/158), 80.2% (410/511), and 78.3% (148/189) among the transfer-in, PTB+, and HIV + cases, respectively. Higher numbers of successful treatment outcomes were recorded among new patients (82.7%) and EPTB cases (84.7%). The cure rate were 73.6% (376/511) and 18% (34/189) among patients with PTB+ and HIV+, respectively. Multiple logistic regression analysis indicated that residence sites (OR 0.763 (0.584, 0.996) and TB/HIV co-infection (OR 0.661 (0.444, 0.985), were significantly associated with the treatment outcome. Rural residence was 27.1% less likely to have successful treatment. There was significant heterogeneity in the odds of having successful treatment outcomes across years of initiating treatment. Conclusion: Treatment success rate among study cases was lower than the WHO’s target and further efforts like availability of TB clinics in nearby sites and reducing rate of HIV infection should be made to improve rate of successful treatment outcome.

Introduction Authorship parasitism (ie, no authors affiliated with the country in which the study took place) occurs frequently in research conducted in low-income and middle-income countries, despite published recommendations defining authorship criteria. The objective was to compare characteristics of articles exhibiting authorship parasitism in sub-Saharan Africa to articles with author representation from sub-Saharan African countries.Methods A bibliometric review of articles indexed in PubMed published from January 2014 through December 2018 reporting research conducted in sub-Saharan Africa was performed. Author affiliations were assigned to countries based on regular expression algorithms. Choropleth maps and network diagrams were created to determine where authorship parasitism occurred, and multivariable logistic regression was used to determine associated factors.Results Of 32 061 articles, 14.8% (n=4754) demonstrated authorship parasitism, which was most common among studies from Somalia (n=175/233, 75.1%) and Sao Tome and Principe (n=20/28, 71.4%). Authors affiliated with USA and UK institutions were most commonly involved in articles exhibiting authorship parasitism. Authorship parasitism was more common in articles: published in North American journals (adjusted OR (aOR) 1.26, 95% CI 1.07 to 1.50) than in sub-Saharan African journals, reporting work from multiple sub-Saharan African countries (aOR 8.41, 95% CI 7.30 to 9.68) compared with work from upper-middle income sub-Saharan African countries, with 10 authors, and was less common in articles published in French (aOR 0.60, 95% CI 0.41 to 0.85) than English.Conclusions Authorship parasitism was common in articles reporting research conducted in sub-Saharan Africa. There were reliable predictors of authorship parasitism. Investigators and institutions in high-income countries, as well as funding agencies and journals should promote research from sub-Saharan Africa, including its publication, in a collaborative and equitable manner.

Persons with serious mental illness have increased rates of chronic medical conditions, have limited access to primary care, and incur significant health care expenditures. Few studies have explored providing medical care for these patients in the ambulatory mental health setting. This study describes a real-world population of mental health patients receiving primary care services in a community mental health clinic to better understand how limited primary care resources are being utilized. Chart review was performed on patients receiving colocated primary care (colocation group, N = 143) and randomly chosen patients receiving mental health care only (mental-health group, N = 156) from January 2006 through June 2011. Demographic and mental and physical health variables were assessed. Compared to the mental-health group, the colocation patients had more psychiatric hospitalizations (mean = 1.07 vs 0.23, P < .01), were more likely to be homeless (P < .01), and were more likely to require intensive case management (P < .01). Interestingly, the colocation group was not more medically ill than the mental-health group on key metabolic measures, including mean body mass index (colocation = 27.8 vs mental-health = 28.7, P = .392), low-density liprotein (colocation = 110.0 vs mental-health = 104.4, P = .480), and glucose (colocation = 94.1 vs mental-health = 109.2, P = .059). The most common medical disorders in the colocation group were related to metabolic syndrome. Colocated primary care services were allocated on the basis of severity of psychiatric impairment rather than severity of medical illness. This program serves as a model for other systems to employ for integrated primary and behavioral health services for patients with serious mental illness.

This article analyses the challenge of Addis Ababa´s double status – both as capital of Ethiopia and that of the Regional State of Oromia. It delves into the unresolved issue of the special interest of Oromia in Addis Ababa/Finfinnee. This article propounds that, where there is no separate capital city administration directly responsible to the State of Oromia, it is constitutionally nonsensical and hierarchically incongruent to require the State of Oromia to join hands with the Addis Ababa city government for joint administration. Thus, it seeks to address the so-called “special interest” of Oromia in Addis Ababa/Finfinnee through two-city administrations. This stems from a critical reading of the constitutional provision which calls for the establishment of joint administration of Addis Ababa/Finfinnee (see: Art 49 (5) of the FDRE Constitution). Furthermore, the Indian model of city administration is taken as a lesson to supplement twin-city administration. This article finds that, for the State of Oromia to ensure not only the so-called “special interest in Addis Ababa” but most importantly its right to the city, it shall, a fortiori, undertake a structural adjustment.

The achievement of educational quality can be seen on the students’ progress during teaching and learning process. The students’ achievement of Hinduism lesson is quite low caused they had nothing from the subjects that being learned. The Hinduism lesson students’ achievement using printed media and multimedia presentation due through classroom management, teaching materials, develop students’ learning activity, the assessment of teaching and learning process, and the assessment of comprehending concept/ knowledge, these results raise 20% from the former results.

Lead is one of the key metals of the all-inorganic lead halide perovskites. This work tailors novel architectures of lead's coordination sphere using a β-diketone (H-hfa = 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoro-2,4-pentanedione) and a glyme (monoglyme, diglyme, triglyme, or tetraglyme) ligand. The coordination chemistry and thermal behaviour of these "Pb(hfa)2·glyme" adducts have been analysed through FT-IR spectroscopy, 1H and 13C NMR analyses, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies provide evidence of the formation of a monomeric Pb(hfa)2·monoglyme structure. In order to validate the potentiality of these "Pb(hfa)2·glyme" precursors for the fabrication of Pb-based halide perovskites, a facile, one-step and low-temperature solution approach has been applied to prepare CsPbBr3 microcrystals with a process carried out in air under atmospheric pressure. Pure stoichiometric CsPbBr3 powders, obtained using Cs(hfa) and Br2 as cesium and bromide sources, respectively, show excellent stability under atmospheric conditions. Better results are obtained in terms of yield and stability from the diglyme and tetraglyme lead adducts. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) indicates a good uniform morphology of cubic grains, while the structure and the 1 : 1 : 3 stoichiometry of Cs : Pb : Br are confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), respectively. Tauc plots derived from absorption spectroscopy point to optical energy band-gaps (Eg) in the 2.21–2.27 eV range, in agreement with literature data. The present research elucidates the potential of these novel "Pb(hfa)2·glyme" adducts as promising lead precursors for CsPbBr3 perovskite synthesis, paving the way for their implementation in various technological applications. Gumbrih Village is one of the tourist villages in Bali which has the potential for natural tourism that can be developed in increasing economic growth and community welfare, preserving nature and the environment. Advances in information technology that are increasingly developing, can be used by the public in carrying out promotions in disseminating information, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This partnership program aims to assist the tourism awareness group "Sarga Nitya" in Gumbrih Tourism Village in managing integrated information through the media website. This website is expected to be used as a promotional media that is fast and cheap and reliable in promoting the superiority and uniqueness of culture, culinary, activities in Gumbrih Tourism Village. This activity is carried out by providing training and assistance in designing and managing a media website, especially for Sarga Nitya management, including the concept of online marketing. The result of this program is the launch of a website for Gumberih Tourism Village at www.dwgumbrih.com. It is hoped that in the future the knowledge of Sarga Nitya's management in managing the website will increase and can assist the management in promotional activities and managing tourism activities. Abstract Background The occurrence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is associated with changes in health-related quality of life, including psychological factors, such as fear and shame, and changes in sexuality and sexual satisfaction, such as decreased sexual desire and frequency of sexual intercourse. Personal relationships are the most affected because CIN is sexually transmitted and many women tend to blame their partner for disease transmission. The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the FACIT-CD questionnaire in Brazilian women diagnosed with CIN. Methods The properties of the FACIT-CD questionnaire were tested on a sample of 439 women seen at the Department of Prevention of Barretos Cancer Hospital, including 329 patients who were diagnosed with CIN and 110 women who were not diagnosed with the disease. The analysed parameters included internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha), reproducibility (intraclass correlation coefficient), structural validity, convergent validity (correlation with the SF-12 and EORTC QLQ-CX24 questionnaires), discriminant validity (according to disease status, and self-rating of health), sensitivity, and responsiveness. Results The Cronbach alpha values ​​of the FACIT-CD scales were higher than 0.70 with the exception of the relationship scale (0.66). The FACIT-CD reproducibility was satisfactory, with variation in the intraclass correlation coefficients ranging between 0.50 and 0.83, although the 95% confidence interval (CI) was lower than 0.40 (0.33–0.64) on the treatment satisfaction scale. Regarding structural validity, only one item on the physical well-being scale was not kept in the original domain. The expected correlations between the FACIT-CD and SF-12 were not confirmed, whereas the correlations between the FACIT-CD and EORTC QLQ-CX24 were confirmed. The questionnaire was able to discriminate the groups according to disease status and self-rating of health. The sensitivity was low for the relationship scale and moderate for the other scales. The responsiveness of the FACIT-CD questionnaire varied between the groups that denominate the self-perception of health as no change, improvement or worsening. Conclusion Our results are encouraging and indicate that the FACIT-CD questionnaire is a promising tool for the analysis of the quality of life of women with CIN.
