Abstract Good data quality is vital for personalising plans in rehabilitation. Machine learning (ML) improves prognostics but integrating it with Multiple Imputation (MImp) for dealing missingness is an unexplored field. This work aims to provide post-stroke ambulation prognosis, integrating MImp with ML, and identify the prognostic influential factors. Stroke survivors in intensive rehabilitation were enrolled. Data on demographics, events, clinical, physiotherapy, and psycho-social assessment were collected. An independent ambulation at discharge, using the Functional Ambulation Category scale, was the outcome. After handling missingness using MImp, ML models were optimised, cross-validated, and tested. Interpretability techniques analysed predictor contributions. Pre-MImp, the dataset included 54.1% women, 79.2% ischaemic patients, median age 80.0 (interquartile range: 15.0). Post-MImp, 368 non-ambulatory patients on 10 imputed datasets were used for training, 80 for testing. The random forest (the validation best-performing algorithm) obtained 75.5% aggregated balanced accuracy on the test set. The main predictors included modified Barthel index, Fugl-Meyer assessment/motricity index, short physical performance battery, age, Charlson comorbidity index/cumulative illness rating scale, and trunk control test. This is among the first studies applying ML, together with MImp, to predict ambulation recovery in post-stroke rehabilitation. This pipeline reliably exploits the potential of incomplete datasets for healthcare prognosis, identifying relevant predictors.

We report in this study the chemical composition and antibacterial activities of the seed’s essential oils of Pimpinella anisum L. collected from Morocco and Yemen. The hydro-distillation technique was used to extract their essential oils, followed by continuous liquid-liquid fractionation using water and ethyl acetate as solvent system. Obtained essential oils were analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS). GC and GC/MS results showed that 4-allylanisole was the major compound of Pimpinella anisum L. with percentages of 76.70 and 85.28% of Moroccan and Yemen, respectively, in addition to other minor compounds such as limonene (9.75% for Moroccan species and 5.53% for Yemen species) and fenchone (6.16% for Moroccan species and 4.12% for Yemen species). Furthermore, both essential oils were evaluated for their antibacterial activity against a panel of pathogenic microorganisms. The results showed that both essential oils inhibit most pathogenic bacteria tested.

Dalam Putusan PN No. 796/Pid.B/2022/PN Ferdy Sambo dijatuhi hukuman mati atas tindak pidana yang ia lakukan terhadap mendiang Brigadir Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat. Disisi lain, Hukuman mati masih terus menjadi perdebatan dikalangan internasional, nasional maupun umat beragama. Dengan menggunakan metode yuridisnormatif, penelitian ini akan menjawab bagaimana posisi putusan hukuman mati Ferdy Sambo di era peralihan hukuman pidana mati atas KUHP lama dengan KUHP baru serta pengaruhnya terhadap hakhak sipil. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengatakan bahwa baik putusan pertama Ferdy Sambo yang berupa vonis hukuman mati, maupun putusan banding yang berupa penjara seumur hidup, keduanya didasarkan pada ketentuan dalam KUHP lama. Meskipun prinsip lex favor reo berlaku pada seseorang yang berada dalam proses hukum bukan pada putusan. Namun, kemungkinan adanya pengurangan hukuman bagi putusan Ferdy Sambo dengan memanfaatkan ketentuan dalam KUHP baru tetap memungkinkan dengan melalui upaya hukum luar biasa berupa Peninjauan Kembali (PK) yang tidak terbatas waktu pada saat KUHP baru telah mulai diberlakukan.

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-Modul berbasis media Flip PDF Corporate Edition untuk kelas V sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan pembelajaran tematik, tema 7 subtema 1 pembelajaran 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Brog and Gall. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah seorang wali kelas, 33 orang siswa kelas V B Sekolah Dasar Negeri 39 Pontianak Kota dan 2 orang validator ahli, yaitu ahli desain dan materi. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan jika pengembangan E-Modul dengan basis Flip PDF Corporate Edition sudah melewati tujuh tahap penelitian, antara lain: penentuan potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan data, membuat desain produk, melakukan validasi desain, revisi bagian desain, melaksanakan uji coba produk, dan revisi bagian produk. Kepraktisan produk pengembangan E-Modul berbasis Flip PDF Corporate Edition memproleh kategori “Sangat Praktis” dari praktisi siswa, yaitu pada aspek kepraktisan kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,72 dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis” dan kelompok besar memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,40 dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”.

Introductions : Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is one of the impacts caused by the use of IUDs, namely IUDs. The cause of UTI itself is dominated by the presence of microorganisms that infect the urinary tract. Pseudomonas is one of the bacteria that causes the third largest UTI after E. Coli and Enterococcus. Pseudomonas is capable of infecting the urinary tract when it is inserted, besides that the bacteria can also enter due to improper cleaning techniques. Mulberry leaves are believed to have antibacterial properties such as flavonids, tannins, alkaloids and terpenoids, which can inhibit the growth of bacteria. Methods : The method used in this study uses laboratory experimental methods, by measuring the cause and effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Using a post-test only control group design approach. Result : The results showed that there was an inhibition zone formed at the smallest concentration of 60% with the medium category of 8,4 mm and the widest inhibition zone was found at a concentration of 100% with the strong category of 12, 6 mm. The results of the analysis test using One Way Anova proved that there was a significant effect of giving mulberry leaf extract on the inhibition of Pseudomonas with a P value of 0.000. Pos Hoc’s test results showed the most influential concentration in each treatment, namely 100%. Conclusions : From the research results, it was found that concentrations of 100% were the most effective concentrations in inhibiting the growth of Pseudomonas bacteria.

Live streaming shopping menjadi bentuk kegiatan jual beli secara online yang berkembang pesat bersamaan dengan meningkatnya pengguna e-commerce. Penelitian sebelumnya cenderung fokus pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat pengguna untuk melakukan pembelian dalam konteks live streaming shopping. Namun, untuk memahami lebih baik tantangan dan solusi yang terkait dengan live streaming shopping, diperlukan tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang terkait dengan live streaming shopping dan mengusulkan solusi teknis dan non-teknis untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Data penelitian diperoleh dari 5 database, yaitu ACM, AIS eLibrary, IEEE, ProQuest, dan Scopus, yang mencakup periode publikasi dari tahun 2018 hingga 2023. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Kitchenham Systematic Literature Review. Hasil penelitian ini akan menampilkan tabel yang merangkum teori yang digunakan, dampak yang menjadi fokus penelitian, serta masalah dan solusi yang terkait dengan lima proses utama dalam live streaming shopping, yaitu product promotion, merchant’s proposition, platform features, purchase decision, dan policy development. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan mengusulkan strategi pemasaran yang dapat diadopsi oleh penjual berdasarkan temuan dari penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada peneliti dan praktisi di bidang e-commerce terkait dengan fenomena live streaming shopping sebagai pertimbangan untuk penelitian berikutnya.

This research intends to know the shape of the earth through the perspective of Islam and Hinduism. With descriptive, analysis and comparative methods, the researcher produced three important conclusions. Firstly, the two scriptures agreed that the phenomenon of day and night is caused by sunlight. Rationally this phenomenon will not happen except by the globe earth. Secondly, in the perspective of Islam, it is not mentioned clearly about the shape of the earth but differs in the perspective of Hinduism which mentioned it clearly. This matter causes different views and interpretations. Thirdly, Al-Biruni that represent the Muslim scholar and Aryabhata represent Hindu, in study the shape of the earth, the both did their research by using the concept of a globe earth and the results were still in use today. Knowing more details, the research on the shape of the earth becomes very interesting.

Background: Amidst a rapidly evolving digital landscape that accelerates the flow of information, higher education institutions face the unique challenge of managing vast and dynamic knowledge resources. This research delves into the motivations and innovative solutions for developing Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), which is key to optimizing knowledge resource utilization and enhancing academic collaboration. Objective: This research provides a comprehensive mapping of problems and solutions for developing university knowledge management systems based on previous research. Not only that, but the results of this study also suggest three future research studies that can be adopted. Methods: This study used the Kitchenham systematic literature review method. The author uses literature in the form of journals and conference proceedings published from 2019 to 2023. Twenty-three articles were used for this study from 5 databases, such as ACM, ProQuest, Scopus, Taylor & Francis, and IEEE Xplore. Results: This study reveals research trends in knowledge management systems within higher education, examining aspects such as country, data collection methods, research methodologies, and theoretical frameworks. The main problems motivating the development of KMS are identified and categorized based on the people, process, and technology framework. In overcoming these problems in the university business process, there are several alternative solutions, both in the form of requirements and systems. Thus, the results of this study seek to provide guidelines for future research to adopt alternative solutions from this research and develop KMS to provide new solutions. Conclusion: This study advances knowledge about various trends, motivations, requirements, and system solutions to address KMS problems in higher education. The authors' research results can add valuable insights to improve our understanding of the development of KMS in universities in various countries. Future research can identify new potential in KMS in business processes currently running in a university with appropriate methodologies. This research aims to analyze the relationship between commercial bank financial performance, share price dynamics, and the role of profitability as a moderating variable. Data from 47 commercial banks (conventional and sharia) in Indonesia during the period from the first quarter of 2021 to the third quarter of 2023 was used to test the hypothesis. Independent variables include Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Operational Costs compared to Operating Income (BOPO), while the dependent variable is share price dynamics. Profitability, measured through Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE), is implemented as a moderating variable. The results of the moderated multiple regression analysis show that financial performance does not directly have a significant influence on stock prices. On the other hand, profitability directly has a positive effect on stock prices. Furthermore, profitability strengthens the relationship between financial performance and share prices, indicating that banks with high profitability tend to experience a more significant impact of financial performance on share price changes. Although it only explains 13.4% of share price variability, these findings provide an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing share price dynamics in the banking sector.

Keong mas (Pomacea canilaculata L.) merupakan hama utama pada tanaman padi di Desa Empat Balai, Kecamatan Kuok, Kabupaten Kampar. Petani Desa Empat Balai mengalami serangan hama keong mas tiap tahunnya hingga berdampak pada hasil produksi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu pengendalian hama keong mas padi di sawah dengan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal di Desa Empat Balai Kecamatan Kuok Kabupaten Kampar. Metode kegiatan ini yaitu survei, konsolidasi, penyuluhan dan praktik lapangan. Penyuluhan dilaksanakan di Mushallah Miftahul Jannah Dusun Pulau Empat, sementara praktik lapangan di saung tani serta lahan sawah di Desa Empat Balai. Materi yang diberikan mengenai bioekologi dan cara pengendalian hama keong mas. Ditekankan bahwa pengendalian hama keong mas yang dianjurkan ialah pengelolaan hama keong mas pada fase telur, karena satu kelompok telur terdapat 500 butir dan pengendalian lebih mudah pada fase telur. Pengendalian pada fase telur meliputi pembuatan drainase atau parit kecil, memasang pancang bambu agar keong meletakkan telur disana, dan pengutipan telur sekali seminggu. Pada fase keong meliputi pemasangan perangkap tanaman atraktan (daun umbi gadung, daun pepaya, dan daun pisang), perangkap kalambuai (kaltrap), pemasangan jaring-jaring di irigasi, memanfaatkan itik, dan moluskisida nabati. Selain itu, dilakukan tindakan pencegahan yaitu penanaman bibit yang lebih tua. Para petani sangat antusias pada kegiatan ini. Hasilnya petani mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan mengenai hama keong mas dan cara pengendaliannya, meningkatkan keterampilan petani tentang metode pengendalian hama keong mas dengan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal.

The series of volcanic activities of Mount Raung triggered primary and secondary hazards in the area around the volcano. Kalibaru watershed is one of the areas prone to landslides due to secondary hazards of eruption activity in the direction of west and northwest part of this region. This study aims to optimize tourism by mapping landslide hazard using Spatial Multi-Criteria Evaluation (SMCE) around Mount Raung. This research used 46 points of landslide data through remote sensing, field observation. Ten landslide triggering factors, namely TPI (Topographic Position Index), TWI (Topographic Wetness Index), SPI (Stream Power Index), slope, distance to river, rainfall, geology, land use, distance to road, and soil type was used to map the landslide hazard. This study used ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) analysis to validate the landslide susceptibility mapping with an AUC (Area Under Curve) value of 0.93, which indicates that the mapping has a high accuracy value. The results showed that the landslide susceptibility is divided into three classes: high susceptible, moderate susceptible, and low susceptible. The high susceptible area covers 151.62 km2 (21%), the moderate susceptible area covers 407.99 km2 (56%), and the low susceptible area covers 166.79 km2 (23%). Based on the results of the mapping, tourism development in the area of Mount Raung is recommended in areas that are classified as medium and low landslide susceptibility. Muffins are made from wheat flour as the main ingredient. However, Indonesia does not produce wheat domestically, so muffin consumption affects the level of importing wheat in Indonesia. Substitution of wheat flour by using local food such as beneng taro flour can be used as an alternative. Another local plant that has diverse nutritional content so that it can be utilized in making muffins is moringa leaves. One of the process conditions that need to be considered in making muffins is the baking time. This study aimed to determine the effect of composite flour formulation based on beneng taro and moringa leaf flour with variations in baking time on the nutritional value and sensory characteristics of muffins. This research used randomized complete factorial design with the treatment of variation of composite flour (80% wheat flour: 20% beneng taro flour) and moringa leaf flour (100%:0%, 97%:3%, 94%:6%, 91%:9%, and 88%:12%) called as (F1, F2, F3, F4, and F5) and baking times (25 and 30 minutes) called as (W1 and W2). The results showed that the addition of moringa flour increased the moisture, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate content, but decreased the organoleptic acceptance of color, taste, aroma and overall, while baking time decreased moisture-content and organoleptic acceptance of color but increased acceptance of texture. These results provide new insights for improving nutritional content of muffin from moringa flour as a functional ingredient.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration has been the goal in many industries, including in the software development industry. One example of this integration comes in the form of integrating AI in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). To date, the difficulties of incorporating AI-based tools into particular phases of SDLC have not received much attention in research. Using qualitative approach, this study aims to discover the perception on the use of AI-based tools and challenges in integrating them in the analysis phase of SDLC. The study finds out that analyst have positive perception about integrating this technology in their field of work but there are some challenges while integrating this technology such as data security and reliability concern, dependency, and adapting to this technology. This study also discovers some key factors of why some analysts adopt or refuse this technology namely time, urgency, budget, and insecurities of the users.

The story of the slaughter of Abraham's son is one of the historical narratives in Semitic religions, including the Bible and Al-Qur'an. Although these narratives have similarities in both scriptures, there are also significant differences in the interpretation and emphasis of these stories. This article aims to conduct a comparative study of the story of the sacrifice of the son of Abraham in the Bible and the Koran using Julia Kristeva's intertextuality analysis with the aim of understanding the differences and similarities that exist in content, theological messages and implications in the two religions. The research method used is literature study. In this analysis, we will pay attention to differences in chronology, the characters involved, as well as the moral and theological messages expressed in the two versions of the story. The results of this study reveal significant differences in several aspects of the story of the slaughter of Abraham's son between the Koran and the Bible. One of the main differences lies in the identity of the son to be slaughtered. In the Qur'an, the son to be slaughtered is not explicitly named, while in the Bible, the son is referred to as Isaac. Apart from that, the theological emphasis and messages that appear in the two narratives also have striking differences. This study provides deeper insight into the differences and similarities in the story of the slaughter of Abraham's son in the Qur'an and the Bible. As a result of the analysis using intertextuality, it can be seen that the relationship between the narrative of this story in the Bible and the Qur'an is transformation, modification, demystification and parallel.

With the rapid growth of Augmented Reality (AR) in e-commerce, it is necessary to conduct in-depth studies related to the integration of AR with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to improve personalization in product recommendations. AI and AR are expected to work together, where AI systems analyze consumer data to provide more suitable product recommendations, while AR helps consumers visualize these recommendations in the real world. This research explores the influence of AI and AR technology integration in personalized recommendations on customer usage intention, with a focus on the cosmetics industry on the e-commerce platform Shopee. Adopting the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), this research uses quantitative methods with the try-on feature of cosmetic products as the main focus. With a total number of 387 respondents, the results of the PLS-SEM analysis revealed factors impacting the intention to use, such as perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and users’ perceived trust, on the intention to use personalized recommendations. This research contributes to the understanding of AI–AR technology acceptance in the context of online shopping, particularly in the cosmetics sector.

Energy-saving tires have been developed by researchers in the industry in order to minimize hysteresis loss. In general, this is achieved by combining precipitated silica sourced from silica sand with a silane coupling agent. This strategic reaction serves to elevate the performance characteristics of tread tire, effectively enhancing their properties. Therefore, this research is aimed to investigate the utilization of commercially available biosilica compared to high dispersed (HD) silica, examining their potential as reinforcing agents in the composition of passenger tread tire compound. This compound was formulated using a blend of solution styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) and butadiene rubber (BR). A comprehensive analysis was conducted to assess the impact of varying ratios between biosilica and HD silica on the mechanical and dynamic properties of tread tire compound composed of SSBR and BR blend. The results showed that the incorporation of biosilica could effectively reduce the filler network resulting in better dispersion of biosilica in the SSBR/BR blend matrix. As a result, it improved wet grip (44%) and rolling resistance (26%) while maintaining abrasion resistance compared with HD silica in passenger tread tire compound. The application of biosilica as an eco-friendly reinforcement material exhibited its potential for elevating the performance of energy-efficient tread tire.

Abstract Detecting signs of residual neural activity in patients with altered states of consciousness is a crucial issue for the customization of neurorehabilitation treatments and clinical decision-making. With this large observational prospective study, we propose an innovative approach to detect residual signs of consciousness via the assessment of the amount of autonomic information coded within the brain. The latter was estimated by computing the mutual information (MI) between preprocessed EEG and ECG signals, to be then compared across consciousness groups, together with the absolute power and an international qualitative labeling. One-hundred seventy-four patients (73 females, 42%) were included in the study (median age of 65 years [IQR = 20], MCS +: 29, MCS −: 23, UWS: 29). In stroke survivors, persistent seizure activity could be associated with poor functional outcomes. At the same time, antiepileptic over-treatment could hamper post-stroke recovery. We systematically investigated the occurrence of seizures, the prevalence of epileptic discharges, and delta slow waves on electroencephalogram (EEG) and anti-seizure medication (ASM) management in relation to clinical manifestations and EEG abnormalities. This was a multi-centre prospective study involving two intensive rehabilitation units (IRUs). Clinical and EEG data were acquired at admission to the IRU, discharge (T1), and six-month follow-up (T2). A total of 163 patients underwent EEG recording upon admission to the IRU, while 149 were available for analysis at discharge from the IRU. Eighteen patients were treated with ASMs upon IRU admission despite only five of these patients having early seizures. Among the 145 patients not treated upon admission to the IRU, eight had late seizures, of which six were during the IRU stay, while two were after discharge from the IRU. During IRU stay, ASMs were generally discontinued in patients with no early seizures reported and were started in patients with late seizures. Among the 18 patients treated with ASMs at admission to the IRU, only six maintained the therapy also at T2. Our results suggest that post-acute inpatient rehabilitation is a proper setting to observe patients treated with ASMs after stroke and provide personalized post-stroke epilepsy management.

The eruption of Mount Semeru in the period 2021 to 2022 had caused damages to several settlements and productive land in the Rejali watershed area, a disaster prone area. This study modeled land use change in the Rejali watershed around Mount Semeru from 2022 to 2032 using the Land Change Modeler, with a logistic regression method Markov chain algorithm, and a built-up land scenario based on historic land use data of 2002–2022. The research used primary data in the form of ground-checking, conversion elasticity, and conversion opportunities. In addition, the secondary data used in the research consisted of remote sensing data (Landsat images), physical factors (slope and elevation), and socio-economic factors (distance to highways, rivers, government centers, centers of economic activity, and population density). The data were analyzed using Google Earth Engine, TerrSet, and ArcGIS. The study found there was decrease in waterbody surface area by 5.31 %, forest areas by 23.80 %, whereas increase in built-up land by 3.15 %, open land by 0.48 %, agriculture by 23.71 %, and undeveloped land by 0.01 % in the study area during 2002–2022. The modeled land uses by 2032, were as follows: water body 4.26 %, forest 47.80 %, built-up land 10.18 %, open land 0.10 %, agriculture 35.88 %, undeveloped land 0.48 %, and mountains/vacant land 1.35 %. The increase in built-up land around Mount Semeru will increase the risk of future eruptions. This results can be useful to help urban planners and policymakers make informed sustainable development decisions by understanding the pattern of land use change.

Consciousness can be defined as a phenomenological experience continuously evolving. Current research showed how conscious mental activity can be subdivided into a series of atomic brain states converging to a discrete spatiotemporal pattern of global neuronal firing. Using the high temporal resolution of EEG recordings in patients with a severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI) admitted to an Intensive Rehabilitation Unit (IRU), we detected a novel endotype of consciousness from the spatiotemporal brain dynamics identified via microstate analysis. Also, we investigated whether microstate features were associated with common neurophysiological alterations. Finally, the prognostic information comprised in such descriptors was analysed in a sub-cohort of patients with prolonged Disorder of Consciousness (pDoC). Occurrence of frontally-oriented microstates (C microstate), likelihood of maintaining such brain state or transitioning to the C topography and complexity were found to be indicators of consciousness presence and levels. Features of left–right asymmetric microstates and transitions toward them were found to be negatively correlated with antero-posterior brain reorganization and EEG symmetry. Substantial differences in microstates’ sequence complexity and presence of C topography were found between groups of patients with alpha dominant background, cortical reactivity and antero-posterior gradient. Also, transitioning from left-right to antero-posterior microstates was found to be an independent predictor of consciousness recovery, stronger than consciousness levels at IRU’s admission. In conclusions, global brain dynamics measured with scale-free estimators can be considered an indicator of consciousness presence and a candidate marker of short-term recovery in patients with a pDoC.
