Messestand für Real Estate Arena 2022, Messe Hannover: Studierende der Leibniz Universität Hannover und der Hochschule Hannover installierten das Design Build Projekt ressource.architektur auf der neuen Immobilienmesse Real Estate Arena in Hannover am 18. und 19. Mai 2022, gemeinsam entwickelt mit der Architektenkammer Niedersachsen, dem Bund Deutscher Architekten Niedersachsen BDA, dem Bund Deutscher Baumeister Niedersachsen BDB, dem Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten Niedersachsen BDIA, dem Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten Niedersachsen BDLA und dem Netzwerk Baukultur in Niedersachsen, zusammen mit der Fakultät für Architektur und Landschaft der Leibniz Universität Hannover und dem Studiengang Innenarchitektur der Hochschule Hannover. ressource.architektur wurde ermöglicht durch eine Vielzahl von Sponsoren aus der Baubranche. Unter dem Motto ressource.architektur wurden auf der Messe mit Impulsvorträgen, Diskussionsrunden und Videoinstallationen die drei Schwerpunkte Wohnungsbau, Umgang mit Ressourcen und Nachhaltige Stadt vorgestellt und diskutiert.

Die Studie beruht auf einer soziologischen Erhebung 1991, die von der Stadt Schwerin beauftragt und von Studierenden der Hochschule für Architektur und Bauwesen unter der Leitung der Autorinnen geleistet wurde. Ein Set von Methoden wurde eingesetzt, um die Position des Neubaugebietes im Gefüge der Gesamtstadt, die Beziehungen der Bewohner_innen zu ihrem Stadtteil, den Wert der Wohnungen für sie und die Inhalte und Veränderungen ihrer Beziehungen in der Nachbarschaft und zu den Institutionen im Stadtteil zu erfassen. Der Transformationsprozess verwies auf die Charakteristika einsetzender Gentrifizierung.

Ausgehend von der Frage, worin die Struktur der Öffentlichkeit besteht, wird ein soziologischer Öffentlichkeitsbegriff skizziert. Öffentlichkeit erweist sich als ein medial und reflexiv vermittelter gesellschaftlicher Kommunikations-, Diskurs- und Handlungszusammenhang, in dem ein Publikum Probleme, Sachen und Themen zur Kenntnis nimmt, kommentiert und diskutiert. Dieser Zusammenhang wird als Struktur gefasst, die vier Momente aufweist: das Publikum, das etwas zur Kenntnis nimmt und diskutiert; das Problem bzw. die Sache, die für das Publikum interessant oder problematisch ist; die Instanz Öffentlichkeit, auf die sich explizit beruft oder implizit bezieht, wer sich öffentlich äußert; das Medium, durch das diese Äußerung und Kommunikation artikuliert und übermittelt wird.

Die Forschung zu digitalen Plattformen hat in der Soziologie Konjunktur. Plattformen sind empirischer Forschungsgegenstand und Aufhänger für Gesellschaftsdiagnosen zur Digitalisierung. Wenig verbreitet sind bisher analytische Konzepte, mit denen die vielfältige Empirie sortiert und systematisch mit den abstrakten Überlegungen zur gesellschaftlichen Bedeutung von Plattformen in Verbindung gebracht werden kann. Eine Grundlage für derart konzeptionelle Arbeiten fehlt bisher: Ein Plattformbegriff, der für Forschende mit unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, Fragestellungen und Gegenstandsbereichen anschlussfähig ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, zu diesem Zweck auf das Konzept der Plattformarchitektur aus der ökonomischen Innovationsforschung zurückzugreifen und "Plattform" als Bezeichnung für ein Strukturmuster soziotechnischer Systeme zu verwenden. Das Paper stellt diesen Plattformbegriff vor und demonstriert exemplarisch seine Potentiale für die soziologische Debatte.

Whether we look at Europe, the USA or Japan, in many areas in the world new possibilities of employing robotic systems in work settings essentially rely on direct collaborative interaction be-tween human workers and collaborative robots leading to new distributions of agency between them and making available robotic operations as resources for performing different forms of work, work which otherwise would remain out of reach for robotic automation for the time being. In this paper we introduce our concepts of studying the social construction of these collaborative work settings and the distribution of agency, accordingly. Referring to the basic idea of actor-network theory that technology in use should be analysed in a symmetrical manner, treating all the human and nonhuman entities involved as actors, our concept of distributed agency goes beyond actor-network theory in that it introduces the notion of gradualised action, which allows distinguishing between different levels of distributed agency. Therefore, we can precisely describe, in which way and to what extent activities and actor positions are delegated to robot co-workers or remain with its human counterpart. For analysing how the distribution of agency between human and robot co-workers is socially constructed in different stages, first in laboratory settings and then in increas-ingly realistic real-world settings, we interpret the spectrum of manifestations of human-robot col-laboration as prototypically realised scenarios at different stages of elaboration. In doing so we introduce the current state of collaborative robots in the areas of industrial production and care work as they represent contrastive cases: In industrial production collaborative robots are the next step in a long-standing history of robotic automation whereas in care work the new robots are also the first robots to be employed there. Creative Food Cycles aims to enhance innovative and creative practices between food, architecture, and conviviality in a transnational and European perspective. Food systems as complex and rapidly changing constellations of economic activity, cultural exchange and social interaction influence Europe's long-term sustainability and living conditions. Resilient food cycles as part of the circular economy can be drivers for strategic change in urban development, urban qualities and cultural values. Creative Food Cycles works for new conviviality in the city as a creative factor for identities, innovation and social integration. The project develops a cultural and holistic approach that links all aspects of food cycles: from production to distribution (phase 1), from distribution to consumption (phase 2), and from consumption to utilisation (phase 3). This open and inclusive approach will stimulate interactions between creative professionals, cultural operators, institutional actors and committed citizens with all those active in food cycles. Creative Food Cycles Book 2 is an open source working manual that offers methodological and experimental insights into the project’s actions, thus complementing the international collection of good practices (Food Interactions Catalogue), the publication of the research work in the project evaluated by an international symposium (Creative Food Cycles Book 1), and the publication of the festival as cultural-creative transfer and sustainability event. Creative Food Cycles is co-funded by the European Union in the Creative Europe Programme. The project is coordinated by the Institute for Urban Design and Planning of Leibniz University of Hannover and performed with the project partners Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia IAAC Barcelona/Spain and Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa/Italy. Creative Food Cycles combines research with experimental prototyping, cultural actions and social dialogue.
