Background. Metastasis is a formidable complication of malignant neoplasms, with therapy not always effective in advanced malignancy. Metastasis is a multistep process involving the cancer cell detachment from primary tumour, intravasation, extravasation and invasion into the target organ. Early metastasis stages are well understood, whilst the impact of tumour microenvironment on the disease progression and advancement remains a matter of debate.Aim. An immunohistochemical study of the adaptive and reactive properties of greater omentum with metastatic involvement in ovarian cancer.Materials and methods. We examined greater omentum tissue samples from 40 patients with verifi ed stage 3a and b ovarian cancers. For light microscopy, samples were fi xed in 10 % formalin, dehydrated, paraffi n-embedded and stained with Mayer’s haematoxylin and eosin. Immunohistochemical assays used monoclonal antibodies against CD7, CD4, CD8, CD 68, VEGF, D2-40 and CD44 proteins. Statistical data analysis was performed with Statistica v. 7.0 soft ware.Results and discussion. Analyses of the greater omentum tissues revealed cases of leucocyte-bank encapsulation of metastatic foci. Higher CD7+ and CD8+ cell counts were observed in encapsulation, possibly influencing the greater omentum reactive and adaptive properties. Higher CD44-expressing cell counts were also detected in greater omentum samples lacking encapsulation. Angiogenesis marker-expressing cells (e.g., VEGF and CD34) predominated in greater omentum tissues lacking leucocyte-bank encapsulation of metastatic foci.Conclusion. Events in tumour microenvironment may be indicative of a preserved or reduced organ adaptivity, the latter facilitating disease progression.

The purpose of the research is to study the anthelmintic efficacy of suspensions based on a combined solid dispersion of Fenbendazole and Niclosamide.Materials and methods. Mechanochemistry methods were used to prepare suspensions of Fenbendazole (FBZ) and Niclosamide (NSM) substances, in particular, liquid phase grinding of substances with additives (licorice extract, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)) in water or in aqueous sodium carboxymethylcellulose (NaCMC) solution. The grinding was conducted in LE-101 roller mill at energy intensity of 1 g for 1 hour at a roll rotation speed of 60–70 rpm. The resulting suspension samples of combined FBZ and NSM dispersions were studied for cestodocidal activity on a laboratory model of hymenolepiosis of white mice that were infected at a dose of 200 infective Hymenolepis nana eggs per animal.Results and discussion. The 100% efficacy of a combined NaCMC-based drug suspension containing FBZ 13 mg and NSM 130 mg in 1 g of suspension was achieved at a dose of 20 mg/kg of NSM and 2 mg/kg of FBZ. The suspension based on licorice extract, NaCMC, and dioctyl sulfosuccinate sodium salt containing FBZ 18.6 mg and NSM 186 mg in 1 g of suspension at the same dose, i.e. 20 mg/kg of NSM and 2 mg/kg of FBZ showed 71.43% efficacy against H. nana. The suspension based on licorice extract and NaCMC containing FBZ 24.6 mg and NSM 246 mg in 1 g of suspension at the same dose showed a 62.0% effect against H. nana. The activity of the basic drug, the FBZ and NSM suspension was 28.58% at this dose without using mechano-chemical treatment.

In this article the authors tried to generalize and summarise the worldwide experience of treatment of serious category of the victims injured patients with severe combined abdomen trauma.

An analysis of application results of complex research methods of diagnostics of intraorganic hepatic and splenic hematomas was made. At the same time, options of these methods were used for determination of prescription of injury. The ultrasound, CT, MR-imaging, videolaparoscopy, angiography, Doppler ultrasonics, impedometry, biochemical, laboratory and cytological study of punctate sample from hematomas were applied for this purpose in 33 patients. According to authors, an evolution of hematomas happened in 3 stages, each of this stage was characterized by specified data associated with investigation results. The staging procedure of hematomas or their evolution allowed setting the prescription of injury.

The purpose of the research is to analyze the dynamics of fenbendazole (FBZ) and niclozamide (NZM) release from their solid dispersions (SD) of various compositions by dialysis through various semipermeable membranes in model systems that correspond to stomach and intestine environments. To evaluate the parasitocidal activity of experimental mixture compositions.Materials and methods. The study used substances of FBZ and NZM, and the polymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). Mechanical processes were carried out in a LE-101 roller mill and an AGO-2 orbital centrifugal mill at different power density levels. The resulting SD of various compositions were studied for solubility. The dynamics of FBZ and NZM substance release from the SD were studied in a laboratory setup consisting of a temperature controlled glass with buffer solutions with pH = 9.18 (intestinal environment) and pH = 1.0 (stomach environment). The substance concentration in the dialysate was determined by HPLC and UV spectroscopy. The resulting complex SD of FBZ and NZM were studied for cestodocidal activity in a laboratory model of hymenolepiosis of white mice.Results and discussion. It was found that the substances release into a buffer solution with pH = 9.18 from the SD obtained in the roller mill is higher than that of the SD obtained in the AGO activator. The dialysis of the experimental compounds in a model system with a gastric juice medium observed only FBZ substance penetration through the membrane, which can be explained by protonation of the FBZ molecule which is a weak base. The NZM molecule, being a neutral molecule, does not penetrate through the semi-permeable partition into the hydrochloric acid environment; it remains entirely inside the dialysis bag. High anthelmintic efficacy rates (up to 100%) of SD complex FBZ : NZM : PVP obtained in the AGO activator and in the roller mill were recorded for the SD of composition 2 : 20 : 78 in the mice with hymenolepiosis. The activity of the base drug, the niclozamide substance, was 27.69%, which is 3 times lower than the activity of the resulting complex dispersions.

Since silicon (Si) was found to be effective in crop production recently, more information is needed about its characteristics, including how it functions as a nano fertilizer for crop performance. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the impact of the Si-containing nano fertilizer on cotton growth parameters and productivity in the arid region. The research conducted in open field conditions over the two consecutive growing seasons (2021 and 2022) revealed that the application of the Si-containing product significantly increased the biomass (10.6%), economic (19.4%), seed (14.3%), and lint yields (18.2%) of cotton as compared to the control group values. Likewise, the cotton biomass, economic, seed, and lint yields were increased by 11.8, 9.7, 9.5, and 9.1%, respectively, compared to the control variables after the Uzbiogumin application. Agronomic nitrogen-use efficiency (aNUE), physiological nitrogen-use efficiency (pNUE), internal nitrogen-use efficiency (iNUE), and apparent nitrogen recovery efficiency (aNRE) parameters were increased by 2.4-fold, 2.1-fold, 34.6 and 57.3%, respectively, with the application of Si nanonutrition. Although the cotton treated with nano Si produced a greater yield, while Uzbiogumin application resulted in more cotton biomass. Based on the results it can be concluded that the applied nano Si product can be widely used to increase crop productivity, especially in degraded lands under arid environments.

The purpose of the research is to obtain and test a complex drug Aniverm-2.0% based on the ivermectin substance by free feeding in a mixture with concentrated feed against parasitosis of cattle, sheep, and horses.Materials and methods. Aniverm-2.0% obtained by mechanochemical technology was tested on a farm in the Shatoy Region, the Chechen Republic, on 900 sheep, 180 cattle and 156 horses in March-April 2023. To determine the infection rate, coproovoscopic examinations were conducted on 80 samples from sheep, 20 samples from young cattle and 30 samples from horses using the Fulleborn’s flotation method with a saturated sodium chloride solution. Sheep were dewormed using a group method. The drug was mixed with feed per 0.3 mg/kg for the AS or 60 mg for the drug per animal. The young cattle were kept by tie-up housing and therefore they were given Aniverm-2.0% once at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg for the AS individually in a mixture with feed. The horses were given the drug in a group method at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg for the AS or 1.5 mg/kg for the drug. Fecal samples from all animals were examined before and 2 weeks after the drug.Results and discussion. A 100% rate of infection of the sheep by gastrointestinal nematodes (Strongylata, Nematodirus spp., Trichocephalus spp.) was determined with an average number of eggs 633.3 in 1 g of feces. In 20 fecal samples from the young cattle, 16 were found to have Strongylata eggs (prevalence = 80.0%) with 222.2–280.5 specimens of Strongylata eggs found in 1 g of feces. Strongylata eggs were found in all 30 examined fecal samples from the horses, on average, 253.3 specimens/g of feces (100%). At 2 weeks after treatment, nematode eggs were found in three out of 80 examined fecal samples from the sheep, which can be explained that the sheep did not eat the appropriate dose of the drug. The drug efficacy was determined to be 99.7%. One hundred percent efficacy of the drug was obtained on young cattle and horses.

The substance fenbendazole is included in the composition of many anthelmintic drugs, in which the “chemical stability” parameter is one of the main characteristics when obtaining permission for the use of drugs in veterinary practice. Fenbendazole is characterized by low solubility in water and therefore the content of the substance is overestimated in its preparations, which increases the cost of the drug as well as the safety risks of pharmacotherapy. The possibilities of mechanochemical modification of fenbendazole were evaluated in order to improve the solubility index. During the mechanical processing treatment of the substance in the presence of polymeric substances, solid dispersions are formed, which have increased solubility and high anthelmintic activity. The inclusion in these dispersions of the third component, which is succinic acid, did not significantly change the solubility of fenbendazole. In all these dispersions, the substance remained unchanged both during the preparation of its solid dispersions and during their storage. When fenbendazole is modified in an organic solvent medium, the substance is partially converted into oxfendazole, which is one of its metabolites. The chemical stability of fenbendazole was confirmed via HPLC/MS and NMR spectroscopy. The anthelmintic activity of these compositions was evaluated and it was found that they have a high nematicidal activity.

The purpose of the research is to test the efficacy of triclafascid and two solid dispersion complex preparations based on the triclabendazole substance against fasciolosis in cattle and sheep. Materials and methods. Complex preparations of triclabendazole (TCB) formulations: Succinic Acid (SA): Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) (1: 1 : 8) and TCB: SA: Arabinogalactan (AG) (1: 1 : 8) were obtained by combined solid-stategrinding of the components in a fiber drum on an LE-101 ball mill at a roll rotation speed of 60 rpm with a process module of 1: 17 for 1 to 6 hours with sampling for analysis (HPLC) for changes in the TCB solubility. A comparative test of the efficacy of triclafascid and new solid dispersions (SD) of TCB complexes with SA against fascioliasis of sheep and cattle was conducted in the North-Eastern Federal District of the Caucasus in March-April 2023. To determine the Fasciola infection rate in animals, fecal samples were individually taken and examined by the Fülleborn methods using saturated aqueous NaCL solution and sequential washing. The drug efficacy was recorded at 25-30 days after deworming in analogy with "critical test". The results were statistically processed by the Student-Fisher method using Microsoft Excel 2007. Results and discussion. The resulting TCB and SA complexes with polymers had an increased solubility (up to 59–70 times) that depended on the polymer nature. The efficacy of new TCB dosage forms against fascioliasis in sheep at a dose of 1.5 mg/kg, i.e. 0.5 mg/kg less than the therapeutic dose as compared with oral triclafascid was 90.0 and 100%, respectively, and 85.7% in cattle at a dose of 2.0 mg/kg for the active substance.

Abstract The Scattering and Neutrino Detector at the LHC (SND@LHC) started taking data at the beginning of Run 3 of the LHC. The experiment is designed to perform measurements with neutrinos produced in proton-proton collisions at the LHC in an energy range between 100 GeV and 1 TeV. It covers a previously unexplored pseudo-rapidity range of $$7.2

The purpose of the research is to study the biotransformation of fenbendazole in the body of sheep after administration of fenbendazole solid dispersion (FSD) prepared by mechanochemical technique with arabinogalactan. Materials and methods. The FSD at a dose of 2.0 mg/kg for the active substance was administered orally to sheep. Animal blood serum samples were studied by high performance liquid chromatography / tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-TMS) to determine the concentration of fenbendazole (FBZ) and its sulfoxide and sulfone metabolites at 0, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 33, 48 and 72 hours after administered FSD and initial FBZ (substance). FBZ and its metabolite residual quantity in the organs and tissues of the sheep was determined at 1, 3, 6, 11, and 21 days after the drug administration. The prepared sample and validated method were described. Results and discussion. A significant difference was found in the metabolism, pharmacokinetics, and timing of the FBZ and its metabolite elimination after the base drug (FBZ substance) and FSD were administered to sheep in an equal dose of 2.0 mg/kg for the active substance. FBZ and its metabolites began to be detected in blood serum 2 hours after the FSD and 4 hours after the base FBZ. Pharmacokinetic parameters of FBZ and its metabolites characterize a higher drug concentration in the blood and a longer retention time in the circulation after the FSD as compared with the base drug parameters. The FBZ and its metabolite maximum concentration was found in the organs and tissues of the sheep that received the FSD on day 3 in the liver amount of 4862.3±296.2 ng/g of FBZ; 18243.5±486.1 ng/g of sulfoxide; and 2482.3±132.4 ng/g of sulfone; and tens of times lower concentration after the base FBZ on day 6. FBZ and its metabolites were not detected in the organs and tissues of the sheep on day 16 after the base FBZ, and on day 21 after the FSD.

The purpose of the research is to study the influence of various technological factors on obtaining of complex solid dispersions of anthelmintics with polyvinylpyrrolidone and licorice extract on anthelmintic efficacy in experimental trichinellosis of white mice.Materials and methods. The study of the nematodocidal activity of complex solid dispersions samples based on fenbendazole (FBZ), fenasal (FNS) and praziquantel (PZQ) with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and licorice extract (LE) obtained by mechanochemical technology at different ratios of components and different exposure times was carried out on 130 white mice experimentally infected with Trichinella spiralis in two experiments. On the 3rd day after infection, the animals were divided into experimental groups of 10 animals each. Samples of various complex solid dispersions of anthelmintics were administered intragastrically to the mice of the experimental groups at a dose of 2 mg/kg according to the active substance. FBZ substance was used as the basic drug at a dose of 2 mg/kg according to the active substance. Animals of the control groups did not receive the drugs. The animals were killed by decapitation on the 4th day after experimental drug samples administration, and the activity of the drugs was counted according to the results of helminthological necropsy of the intestine, the efficacy was calculated by the type of control test.Results and discussion. The efficacy of complex solid dispersions of FBZ and FNS with PVP polymer was higher in comparison with the activity of complexes with LE at the same duration of mechanochemical treatment in a roller mill. The FBZ activity decreased from 67.05 to 37.77% with a decrease in the duration of mechanochemical treatment from 24 h to 5 h and the efficacy of the FBZ : FNS complex with LE turned out to be almost at the level of the basic drug when treated for 1 h. The use of mechanochemical technology for obtaining of a solid dispersion of FBZ : FNS with PVP for targeted delivery makes it possible to increase the anthelmintic efficacy by 2.7 times compared with the activity of the FBZ substance, and with LE by 2.2 times. It was noted that complex solid dispersions of PBZ with PZQ have lower biological activity in comparison with compositions of FBZ with FNS.

After rapid approval and installation, the SND@LHC Collaboration was able to gather data successfully in 2022 and 2023. Neutrino interactions from νμs originating at the LHC IP1 were observed. Since muons constitute the major background for neutrino interactions, the muon flux entering the acceptance was also measured. To improve the rejection power of the detector and to increase the fiducial volume, a third Veto plane was recently installed. The energy resolution of the calorimeter system was measured in a test beam. This will help with the identification of νe interactions that can be used to probe charm production in the pseudo-rapidity range of SND@LHC (7.2 < η < 8.4). Events with three outgoing muons have been observed and are being studied. With no vertex in the target, these events are very likely from muon trident production in the rock before the detector. Events with a vertex in the detector could be from trident production, photon conversion, or positron annihilation. To enhance SND@LHC’s physics case, an upgrade is planned for HL-LHC that will increase the statistics and reduce the systematics. The installation of a magnet will allow the separation of νμ from ν¯μ

The purpose of the research is to study solubility of triclabendazole-based (TCB) solid dispersions (SD) and polymers obtained under optimal conditions of mechanochemical technology; and to confirm chemical stability of a TCB substance by the HPLC method both during its SD preparation and their storage.Materials and methods. The research used a TCB substance, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), arabinogalactan (AG), and licorice extract (LE) that contained 25% glycyrrhizinic acid (GA). For machining, the initial components were taken in a 1 : 9 weight ratio and machined in an LE-101 drum mill on rolls with a drum rotating at a speed of 55–60 rpm with a 1 : 17 process module for 1 to 6 hours with sampling to evaluate the TCB solubility and stability. The TCB sample solubility and its stability were evaluated in these samples by HPLC.Results and discussion. The machining of the TCB substance with selected polymers obtained the corresponding SDs of the following compositions: TCB : PVP (1 : 9), TCB : AG (1 : 9), TCB : PVP : AG (1 : 4.5 : 4.5) and TCB : LE (1 : 9), which were free-flowing powders with enhanced solubility for TCB (up to 34). The evaluation of previously obtained samples of TCB SDs showed that the solubility decreased slightly over time. For example, a decrease in solubility for TCB : AG (1 : 9) was observed from 10 to 8 (the sample after 2 h of machining) and from 23 to 18 (the sample after 4 h of machining). The chemical stability was observed of the TCB substance in its SD samples obtained earlier.

The relevance of the work stems from the need to develop requirements for sulfonated bitumen applied in the composition of water-based drilling fluids to control their quality when entering drilling enterprises. Due to the presence of water-insoluble substances, sulfonated bitumens are considered to be hydrophobic bridging agents of clay rocks, though the proportion of water-soluble substances in their composition is much higher (~70 %). Nowadays the influence of the water-soluble component of sulfonated bitumen on clay rock in terms of inhibition and peptization is unknown. There are also no data on salt resistance and resistance to alkaline earth metals (Ca2+, Mg2+) of sulfonated bitumen. All this can lead to their irrational use. The study of these issues will help formulate requirements and select methods for assessing the quality of sulfonated bitumens, as well as improve the efficiency of their use in drilling fluids. The main aim of the research is to experimentally determine the functional properties of sulfonated bitumen in the composition of water-based drilling fluids. The main objectives of the research are to study the sulfonated bitumen effect on clay rocks and access the sulfonated bitumen resistance to mineralization and divalent cations. Objects: sulfonated bitumen samples of various brands and manufacturing plants. Methods. The technological parameters of clay drilling fluids were determined by standard methods in accordance with SS 33213-2014 (ISO 10414-1:2008); the inhibitory and peptization properties of the research objects in relation to clay rocks were studied by the method of clay swelling when they were in the sample solution (on the Zhigach–Yarov tester) and by means of sedimentary analysis (on the Figurovsky weight scale); salt resistance of sulfonated bitumens was determined by the method of sedimentation while placing sulfonated bitumens in a mineralized environment. Results. The authors have carried out the comparative analysis of six sulfonated bitumen samples to identify the physicochemical effect of this group reagents on clay rocks. By assessing the degree of swelling and particle-size determination of clay while its staying in the drilling fluids of the test samples, two groups of reagents of sulfonated bitumen were found, which are opposite in their functional effect on clay: 1) peptizing agents (deflocculants); 2) clay inhibitors. It was experimentally proved that all sulfonated bitumens contribute to the deterioration of the thixotropic, rheological, and filtration properties of fresh clay systems, while samples with inhibitory properties are more effective viscosity reducers; in a mineralized environment, the presence of divalent cations and sulfonated bitumens are conductive to a decrease in filtration properties, but are ineffective as viscosity reducers, and also, they are conductive to thickening due to their coagulation or solubility decrease. Experiments proved that for determining the functional purpose of high-molecular-weight sulfonated bitumens in the composition of water-based drilling fluids and controlling the quality of the samples, it is necessary to test them according to the following indicators: to determine the size of clay particles in water and in a solution of the test sample in order to identify its inhibitory or peptizing properties; to evaluate the thinning capacity and the effectiveness of reducing the filtration characteristics when adding a reagent to a fresh clay suspension.

Background: Xenon and argon inhalation were included on the WADA Prohibited List in 2014 due to the reported positive effects on erythropoiesis and steroidogenesis that occur as a result of their application. Thus, the systematic review of studies supporting these notions is of interest. Methods: A thorough search on the effects of xenon and argon inhalation on erythropoiesis and steroidogenesis, as well as their negative effects on human health and method detection was conducted. Pubmed and Google Scholar databases and the Cochrane Library were researched, as well as the WADA research section. The search was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. All articles written in English and published between 2000 and 2021 were analyzed, as well as reference studies meeting the search criteria. Results: At present, there are only two publications in healthy human subjects evaluating the effects of xenon inhalation on erythropoiesis that found no conclusive evidence of a positive effect on erythropoiesis. This research was published following the inclusion of this gas on the WADA Prohibited List in 2014 and had a high risk of bias. There were no studies available on the effect of argon inhalation on erythropoiesis. Furthermore, no studies were found on the effect of xenon or argon inhalation on steroidogenesis in healthy subjects and no studies relating to the effects of xenon or argon inhalation on erythropoiesis and steroidogenesis were found on the WADA website. Conclusion: There is still inconclusive evidence to support the administration of xenon and argon inhalations on erythropoiesis and steroidogenesis and their positive effects on health. Further research is warranted to establish the effects of these gases. Additionally, improved communication between anti-doping authorities and all key stakeholders is required to support the inclusion of various substances on recognized prohibited lists.

In the article, the results of the research carried out in theconditions of Uzbekistan for the purpose of comparing the varieties of leek"Elephant", "Bandit" and hybrids "Lincoln F1", "Chinuk F1" in terms ofvaluable economic characteristics are presented with a deep scientificanalysis. Planting was carried out by hand in 4x1 cm rows in 7x40x60 cmboxes in a greenhouse on March 15. Seedlings appeared after 10-12 days,on May 10 they were transplanted to open field. Planting in open field wascarried out in a scheme of 50x10 cm. Morpho-biometric indicators includedetermining the main quality indicators of seedlings before planting inopen field: plant weight, false stem diameter, plant height and number ofleaves. Plant height was measured from the bottom of the leaves to the tip.At the end of the research, the data analysis shows that among the studiedleek varieties and hybrids, the hybrid "Lincoln F1" was superior to othervarieties and hybrids in terms of all valuable economic characteristics, andwe will further research this hybrid. we separated for In the conditions ofUzbekistan, this hybrid recorded high indicators in terms of plant weight,false stem diameter, plant height, number of leaves.

The paper presents the results of the analysis of the disinfection of water by a pulsed single spatial electromagnetic field. The origin of the fluid pressure in the pipe is calculated and graphically presented as the interaction of a single spatial field and the current of moving charges. It is proved that a single spatial field enhances the process of dissociation of water in a liquid solution. The orbital electrons of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom of water create a strong inhomogeneous electric field around themselves, which leads to the separation of the liquid solution and the compounds contained in it into elements. The purpose of the work is to study magneto hydrodynamic phenomena spatial electromagnetic field disinfection of water by a single spatial electromagnetic field, The theory of a single spatial field involves the interaction of four fields of pulsed electromagnetic, pulsed electric, permanent magnetic and gravitational. The theory of a single spatial field is substantiated, which allows us to consider the issues of effective disinfection, desalination and purification of water, as well as to study the effects of electric, magnetic fields and electromagnetic waves on physical, chemical and biological processes occurring in liquids.

At the last international congresses on echinococcosis, the directions of future work were defined: according to it, increasing the efficiency of echinococcosis diagnosis, improving testing systems are among them . To study the effect of the parasite on the organism of the host; enables a more accurate study of the development periods of pathogens, their strain. Echinococcosis takes the first place among diseases associated with interstitial biochemical disorders. Biochemical components and ion exchange determine the basis of transformation into repeated cysts (microcephalocytes). Currently, it is almost impossible to reliably determine the nature of echinococcal cysts that appear in a patient after surgical treatment. Accumulated experience and literary sources give more and more reason to believe that the pathogenesis of recurrence of echinococcosis is associated with several, possibly unequal, causes.

Malignant neoplasms, including pancreatic cancer and melanoma, are major global health challenges. This study investigates melanoma pancreatic syndrome, a rare hereditary tumor syndrome associated with CDKN2A gene mutations. CDKN2A mutations contribute to a lifetime risk of melanoma ranging from 28% to 67%. This study reports the clinical features of six individuals with CDKN2A mutations and identifies recurrent alterations such as c.307_308del, c.159G>C and c.71G>C. It highlights the need for CDKN2A mutation testing in suspected cases of familial atypical multiple mole melanoma. Clinically significant variants show associations with melanoma and pancreatic cancer. The challenges of treating individuals with CDKN2A mutations are discussed, and the lack of specific targeted therapies is highlighted. Preclinical studies suggest a potential benefit of CDK4/6 inhibitors, although clinical trials show mixed results. This study underscores the importance of continued research into improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies to address the complexities of hereditary cancer syndromes.

Abstract The Search for Hidden Particles (SHiP) Collaboration has proposed a general-purpose experimental facility operating in beam-dump mode at the CERN SPS accelerator to search for light, feebly interacting particles. In the baseline configuration, the SHiP experiment incorporates two complementary detectors. The upstream detector is designed for recoil signatures of light dark matter (LDM) scattering and for neutrino physics, in particular with tau neutrinos. It consists of a spectrometer magnet housing a layered detector system with high-density LDM/neutrino target plates, emulsion-film technology and electronic high-precision tracking. The total detector target mass amounts to about eight tonnes. The downstream detector system aims at measuring visible decays of feebly interacting particles to both fully reconstructed final states and to partially reconstructed final states with neutrinos, in a nearly background-free environment. The detector consists of a 50 $$\mathrm { \,m}$$ m long decay volume under vacuum followed by a spectrometer and particle identification system with a rectangular acceptance of 5 m in width and 10 m in height. Using the high-intensity beam of 400 $$\,\mathrm {GeV}$$ GeV protons, the experiment aims at profiting from the $$4\times 10^{19}$$ 4 × 10 19 protons per year that are currently unexploited at the SPS, over a period of 5–10 years. This allows probing dark photons, dark scalars and pseudo-scalars, and heavy neutral leptons with GeV-scale masses in the direct searches at sensitivities that largely exceed those of existing and projected experiments. The sensitivity to light dark matter through scattering reaches well below the dark matter relic density limits in the range from a few $${\mathrm {\,MeV\!/}c^2}$$ MeV / c 2 up to 100 MeV-scale masses, and it will be possible to study tau neutrino interactions with unprecedented statistics. This paper describes the SHiP experiment baseline setup and the detector systems, together with performance results from prototypes in test beams, as it was prepared for the 2020 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. The expected detector performance from simulation is summarised at the end.

Background: This study aimed to develop new complex preparations of ivermectin, niclosamide and albendazole based on solid-phase mechanochemical technology, and to evaluate their efficacy against equine nematodosis and cestodosis. Methods: Novel formulation of antiparasitic paste were prepared using joint mechanochemical treatment of ivermectin (0.2 mg/kg bodyweight; BW), niclosamide (10 mg/kg BW) and albendazole (3, 5, 10 mg/kg BW) substances with polyvinylpyrrolidone and arabinogalactan. For the evaluation of activity of different doses of formulations against gastrointestinal tract helminths a total of 151 adult horses of the Novoaltai breed weighing 450–500 kg naturally infected with strongyles (>150 egg per gram of faeces, EPG), Parascaris spp. (>20 EPG) and Anoplocephala spp. (>10 EPG) were selected. Antiparasitic pastes were orally fed to the horses and faecal egg count reduction counts were compared prior to and 14 days after the treatment. Results: Pastes with mechanically modified ivermectin showed 91.4–100% efficacy against strongyles and Parascaris. Pastes with modified albendazole and niclosamide were also effective against Anoplocephala in all tested dosages i.e. 78.6–100%. In particular, treatment with two formulations containing i) 0.2 mg ivermectin, 10 mg albendazole, 10 mg niclosamide, and ii) 0.2 mg ivermectin, 3 mg albendazole showed 100% efficacy against strongyles, Parascaris and Anoplocephala. Conclusion: Solid-phase mechanochemical technology could be applied in equine anthelminthics production. It is suggested that future studies focus on plasma concentration-time profile of these highly effective pastes.

The article is devoted to the study of innovative educational activities of teachers as a result of working with gifted students. The national goal of the Russia until 2030 states that it is necessary to create all conditions for self-realization and disclosure of the talent of each student. It is necessary to keep in mind the fact that many students do not have possible potential (hidden) giftedness due to the lack of a built-up system for ensuring the effectiveness of working with gifted students to reveal the talent of each of them. The article focuses on identifying the" innovativeness " of teachers, on determining the possession of an emotional and evaluative attitude to innovations, as well as on innovative competence, which ensures the effectiveness of using the latest technologies while working with gifted students. The following research methods were used: analysis of special (psychological and pedagogical) literature; survey; observation. The research involved 50 teachers who took advanced training courses "Psychological and pedagogical technologies for working with gifted children". To identify the readiness of teachers for innovative pedagogical (educational) activities, a questionnaire consisting of 6 blocks was conducted.According to the results of the survey, the readiness (full and partial) of teachers working successfully with gifted students – participants of the survey for innovative pedagogical activities was established.
