In our previous publications we discussed various manifestations of a new decay channel of the low excited heavy nuclei called collinear cluster tri-partition (CCT). The most populated CCT mode was revealed in the mass correlation distribution of fission fragments (FFs) as a local region ("bump") of increased yields below the loci linked to the conventional binary fission. The bump was dubbed "Ni-bump" because it is centered at the masses associated with the magic isotopes of Ni. Intriguing features of the CCT, especially high collinearity of the CCT partners and relatively high probability comparable with that typical for conventional ternary fission, have caused rather wide discussion. In the majority of dedicated publications, the FFs partitions from the Ni-bump have been analyzed from the different points of view. In our publications, we have underlined that Ni-bump manifests itself at the detectable level only in the spectrometer arm that faces the source backing. So far, this fact has been left beyond the scope of all known theoretical considerations, while the backing likely plays a crucial role in the observation of the CCT experimental pattern., Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures

In a series of the experiments at different time-of-flight spectrometers of heavy ions we have observed manifestations of a new at least ternary decay channel of low excited heavy nuclei. Due to specific features of the effect, it was called collinear cluster tri-partition (CCT). The experimental results obtained initiated a number of theoretical articles dedicated to different aspects of the CCT. We compare theoretical predictions with our experimental data, only partially published so far. The model of one of the most populated CCT modes that gives rise to the so called "Ni-bump" is discussed. Detection of the 68-72Ni fission fragments with a kinetic energy E<25 MeV at the mass-separator Lohengrin is proposed for an independent experimental verification of the CCT., Comment: 16 pages, 14 figures

Application of the nuclear track emulsion technique (NTE) in radioactivity and nuclear fission studies is discussed. It is suggested to use a HSP-1000 automated microscope for searching for a collinear cluster tri-partition of heavy nuclei implanted in NTE. Calibrations of $\alpha $-particles and ion ranges in a novel NTE are carried out. Surface exposures of NTE samples to a ${}^{252}$Cf source started. Planar events containing fragments and long-range $\alpha $-particles as well as fragment triples only are studied. A great deal of research work has been undertaken in the alpha-clustering study since the pioneering discovery, half a century ago, of 12C+12C molecular resonances. Our knowledge of the field of the physics of nuclear molecules has increased considerably and nuclear clustering remains one of the most fruitful domains of nuclear physics, facing some of the greatest challenges and opportunities in the years ahead. In this work, the occurence of "exotic" shapes in light N=Z alpha-like nuclei is investigated. Various approaches of superdeformed and hyperdeformed bands associated with quasimolecular resonant structures are presented. Using a unique two-arm detector system for heavy ions (the BRS, binary reaction spectrometer) coincident fission events have been measured from the decay of $^{60}$Zn compound nuclei formed at 88MeV excitation energy in the reactions with $^{36}$Ar beams on a $^{24}$Mg target at $E_{lab}(^{36}$Ar) = 195 MeV. The detectors consisted of two large area position sensitive (x,y) gas telescopes with Bragg-ionization chambers. From the binary coincidences in the two detectors inclusive and exclusive cross sections for fission channels with differing losses of charge were obtained. Narrow out-of-plane correlations corresponding to coplanar decay are observed for two fragments emitted in binary events, and in the data for ternary decay with missing charges from 4 up to 8. After subtraction of broad components these narrow correlations are interpreted as a ternary fission process at high angular momentum through an elongated shape. The lighter mass in the neck region consists dominantly of two or three-particles. Differential cross sections for the different mass splits for binary and ternary fission are presented. The relative yields of the binary and ternary events are explained using the statistical model based on the extended Hauser-Feshbach formalism for compound nucleus decay. The ternary fission process can be described by the decay of hyper-deformed states with angular momentum around 45-52 $hbar$., Comment: 23 pages, 25 figures

Experimental realizations of QT have so far been limited to teleportation of light. The present communication gives a new experimental scheme for QT of heavy matter. We show that the standard experimental technique used in nuclear physics may be successfully applied to teleportation of spin states of atomic nuclei. It was shown that there are no theoretical prohibitions upon a possibility of a complete Bell measurement, so that implementation of all four quantum communication channels is at least theoretically available. A general expression for scattering amplitude of two 1/2-spin particles was given in the Bell operator basis, and peculiarities of Bell states registration are briefly discussed., Comment: 10 pages, 2 figures

Until recently, only science-fiction authors ventured to use a term teleportation. However, in the last few years, on the eve of upcoming new millennium, the situation changed very much. The present report gives a synopsis of main concepts in this area. The readers will be able to make sure that paradoxical phenomena in the microcosm give a possibility to demonstrate the exchange of properties between microobjects, removed at a very large distance from each other, when no forces act between them. A new experimental scheme with hydrogen and helium nuclei is proposed. It is expected that the results of these experiments will be considered as teleportation of nuclear properties of atoms of the simplest chemical elements.
