Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is globally recognized as the most prevalent and aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. While conventional treatments are effective initially, the disease can become resistant or relapse over time. The study aimed to examine the differentially expressed genes at the transcriptome level and molecular pathways in DLBCL patients. Methods: This investigation utilized RNA sequencing analysis to compare differentially expressed gene samples from five diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients with two healthy volunteers. These participants were admitted to UKM Medical Center, Kuala Lumpur between 2019 and 2020. A sustainable approach to microbial polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) production involves utilizing waste as a substrate, which can include toxic pollutants like phenol as a carbon feedstock. Phenol-contaminated effluents offer cost-effective and readily available resources for PHA production, while simultaneously addressing phenol contamination issues. Understanding the metabolic conversion of phenol to PHA is crucial to enhance its efficiency, especially considering phenol's toxicity to microbial cells and the substrate-dependent nature of microbial PHA production. In this review, the mechanisms of phenol biodegradation and PHA biosynthesis are first independently elucidated to comprehend the role of bacteria in these processes. Phenol can be metabolized aerobically via various pathways, including catechol meta-cleavage I and II, catechol ortho-cleavage, protocatechuate ortho-cleavage, and protocatechuate meta-cleavage, as well as anaerobically via 4-hydrozybenzoate and/or n-caproate formation. Meanwhile, PHA can be synthesized through the acetoacetyl-CoA (pathway I), de novo fatty acids synthesis (pathway II), β-oxidation (pathway III), and the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, with the induction of these pathways are highly dependent on the substrate. Given that the link between these two mechanisms was not comprehensively reported before, the second part of the review delve into understanding phenol conversion into PHA, specifically polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB). While phenol toxicity can inhibit bacterial performance, it can be alleviated through the utilization of microbial mixed culture (MMC), which offers a wider range of metabolic capabilities. Utilizing phenol as a carbon feedstock for PHB accumulation could offer a viable approach to boost PHA's commercialization while addressing the issue of phenol pollution.

Purpose: The oil palm nursery plays a pivotal role in ensuring optimal replanting materials for sustained productivity. However, conventional practices that rely exclusively on inorganic fertilizers can degrade soil over time, highlighting the need to reassess planting materials. This study examines the impact of incorporating compost into soil media on oil palm seedling development in primary nurseries. Method: The study compared microbial biodiversity in soil media with compost amendments by employing DNA sequencing to assess microbial communities. The analysis focused on bacterial species richness and the prevalence of key phyla, including Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, Acidobacteria, and others. Results: The compost-amended media (T2) demonstrated significantly higher microbial biodiversity, with 60,769 sequences compared to 45,741 sequences in media containing only soil and inorganic fertilizer (T1). This compost-enriched media notably increased bacterial species richness, particularly benefiting nutrient-cycling bacteria such as Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria. While Acidobacteria showed sensitivity to compost, other phyla like Firmicutes, Planctomycetes, and Chloroflexi remained stable under the nutrient dynamics of elevated organic content. Streptomyces, known for its metabolic versatility, dominated across all media compositions. The co-occurrence of Bacteroidetes and Acidobacteria in compost-treated soils suggested pH stability that supports plant growth and ecosystem resilience. Conclusion: Integrating compost into nursery media significantly enhances microbial biodiversity and dynamics, particularly favoring beneficial nutrient-cycling bacteria. This suggests that compost amendments can serve as a viable pathway for improving oil palm nursery practices, promoting sustainable soil management, and ensuring long-term productivity. Research Highlights • Oil palm nurseries rely on inorganic fertilizers, risking soil degradation. • Incorporating compost can improve soil health by introducing beneficial microbes. • Compost-enriched media (T2) had 33% more diversity than inorganic fertilizer (T1). • Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria thrived in compost, highlighting nutrient cycling. • Bacteroidetes and Acidobacteria indicated pH stability, promoting plant growth.

Steam direct contact condensation (DCC) into subcooled water may be encountered in different important industrial process applications, such as steam jet pumps, steam ejectors, pressurizers, and emergency cooling systems of nuclear reactor core. In this work, a numerical simulation study has been done for injection of steam into a tank full of subcooled water. In the simulations, the Eulerian multiphase flow in addition to a realizable k-epsilon turbulence model has been utilized. Moreover, a DCC model has been used for condensation capturing. Fluent software with a user-defined function (UDF) for the DCC model was employed for simulations. The results obtained from simulations were validated with experimental results, and a fair agreement was observed. This study considered the local Nusselt number (LNN) the most suitable parameter for investigating the heat transfer rate (HTR) at the computational cell level. Therefore, the contours of the LNN, its axial distribution, and radial distribution were studied with respect to the inlet pressure of injected steam, temperature of tank water, and location along the axis of the nozzle. The results reveal the fact that the value of the LNN reaches a maximum at the nozzle exit along the axis of the nozzle at 323 K tank water temperature. LNN decreases by increasing or decreasing the tank water temperature beyond 323 K. It is claimed that the heat transfer (HT) study at such a local scale has been conducted for the first time to the best of our knowledge, and it unfolds various crucial facts regarding steam-water interaction.

Purpose This study aimed to find out how the Acehnese language is used by residents in the South Aceh Regency. Method This research used a qualitative approach with documentary studies, meta-ethnographic research, field studies, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews. The instruments used comprised data analysis forms, observation forms, focus group discussion guidelines, and in-depth interview guidelines. Data were analyzed qualitatively using the theory and concept of sociolinguistics Results/findings This study demonstrated that speakers of the Acehnese language in the South Aceh Regency came from distinct places than those in other Aceh regencies. The performance comprised performances in Acehnese language with and without acculturation of other languages, performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Aneuk Jamee language, performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Kluet language, performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Aneuk Jamee and Kluet languages, and performances in Acehnese language with acculturation of the Indonesian language. Conclusion The performance resulted from the presence of Acehnese speakers in multiethnic areas (Aneuk Jamee and Kluet tribes). Acehnese speakers have been encouraged to integrate with these tribes by their living conditions. Seeking a language that enables them to communicate with one another was the outward manifestation of these adaptation efforts.

ومن شعراء المسلمين والصحابيات والمؤمنات والأمهات الصابرات الخنساء. ترتبط أشعار الخنساء بأهداف الشعر بشكل عام، ومنها الرثاء، وهو الغرض الشعري البارز في الشعر الجاهلي والإسلامي، ويحتل مكانة كبيرة في أشعار معظم الشعراء. فنجد رثاء الأحبة والأصدقاء، ورثاء المدن الهاربة، والبكاء على البلاد البائدة، وغير ذلك من أشكال الرثاء المتنوعة. تعتبر المرثية من الأغراض المهمة المستخدمة في الشعر العربي بشكل عام. ومنهج البحث الذي ينتهجه الباحث في هذا البحث هو المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، أي منهج يحاول تلخيص العلوم اللغوية من الجانب التاريخي والجانب المعياري، ومن تلك التي تدفع الباحث إلى البحث وتريد تحليلها هي خصائص شعر رثاء الخنساء من حيث الألفاظ والمعاني. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الباحثة أن معاني الحزن هي الفكرة الأساسية المسيطرة على شعر الخنساء، كما ترتبط بهذه الفكرة معاني أخرى كالبكاء والحنين. كان شعر الخنساء يعتمد على غرض واحد محدود، وهو رثاء الناس. وتتكرر الكلمات في شعرها للتأكيد على الشعر، وأفكارها تبكي على أخويها (صخر ومعاوية) وتبكي على أخيها صخر. One of the Muslim poets, companions, believers, and patient mothers is Al-Khansa. Al-Khansa’a’s poems are related to the purposes of poetry in general, and one of them is lamentation, which is the prominent poetry purpose in pre-Islamic and Islamic poetry, and it occupies a significant place in the poems of most poets. We find lamentations for loved ones and friends, lamentation for fleeting cities, crying over defunct countries, and other various forms of lamentation. Elegy is one of the important purposes used in Arabic poetry in general. The research method that the researcher approaches in this research is the descriptive and analytical method, meaning a method that attempts to summarize the linguistic sciences from the historical aspect and the normative aspect, and those that motivate the researcher to research and want to analyze them are the characteristics of the poetry of lamentation for the Khansa’a in terms of words and meanings. One of the most important results that the researcher found is that the meanings of sadness are the main idea controlling Al-Khansa’a’s poetry, and other meanings are related to this idea, such as crying and nostalgia. Al-Khansa’a’s poetry was based on one limited purpose, which was to lament people. The words in her poetry are repeated to emphasize the poetry, and her thoughts are crying for her brothers (Sakhr and Muawiyah) and crying for her brother Sakhr.

E-learning in knowledge management was examined in this study, specifically on how it assists organizations in improving knowledge transfer and e-learning management, to increase performance and employee knowledge management. In this study, e-learning and knowledge management systems and technology were jointly implemented, and its impact on organizational performance was examined. Organizational management was also explored. The present study investigated the relationship between knowledge management (KM) and innovation performance (IP). The mediating effect of knowledge Management was deeply explored. Randomly selected managers from 57 Jordanian manufacturing companies were the study samples, and there were 470 managers involved in this study, from strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Questionnaires were used to gather data, and the questionnaire items covered the constructs of knowledge management, organizational learning (OL), knowledge-oriented leadership (KOL) and IP. A research model was proposed and was tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings were as follows: KOL positively affected KM; KOL positively affected IP; OL negatively affected IP; KOL positively affected KM; OL positively affected KM; KM positively affected IP and KM mediated the relationship between KOL, OL and IP.

The purpose of this paper is to review the corporate governance structure of Pakistan and identify the challenges and opportunities within the context of the country. The objective is to highlight the gaps in existing governance frameworks. The study provides an overview of the corporate governance regulations in Pakistan and underlines the urgent need for research in this area. This research identifies the specific challenges and opportunities that can assist in developing more stable governance practices and regulations. It examines the effectiveness of existing regulatory mechanisms and develops strategies to improve corporate governance practices in various sectors. Good corporate governance strategies promote transparency, accountability, and reliability of the financial market, which are crucial for economic growth and investor confidence. The findings validated that efficient corporate governance builds confidence in the business community and promotes sustainable economic growth and development. The corporate governance detailed structural analysis provides substantial theoretical implications for policymakers to formulate policies for ease of doing business in Pakistan.

This study aims to see the extent of the implementation of Islamic communication at SMP Plus Ulul Ilmi Medan and the obstacles faced in the implementation process. The research method that the author uses is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation based on the required data. The results showed that: (1) the vision and mission and motto of the school became the basis for the implementation of Islamic communication in the school environment which refers to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. (2) Theimplementation of Islamic communication in verbal and nonverbal learning that is implemented in speech and deeds. (3) there are two obstacles in the implementation of Islamic communication. These obstacles are caused by two factors, namely: internal factors caused by the school's HR qualifications are not in accordance with the scientific competencies charged; external factors in the form of lack of attention of parents in supervising and directing their children and the busyness of parents at work which has an impact on the lack of attention to children.

This article aims to know Ittijahat of Ibrahim Bin Al-Mahdy in his poem of Ritsa’. Ittijahat in this study is a description of the poet's tendency to divide Ritsa'. As for Ritsa’ is one of the various forms of Arabic poetry. To analyze the discussion problem, the author uses descriptive analysis method, because this method is very appropriate to find out the picture and state of a thing by describing it in as much detail as possible based on the facts found in the data in question. The results obtained are: That Ritsa’ Ibrahim Bin Al-Mahdy varied on the two directions namely, Nadb and Ta’bin. In the first direction, the poet tended to mourn his eldest son, where he shown a lot of sorrow, grief and crying after his son went to the afterlife. Whereas in the second direction, the poet tended to eulogize his strength and highlighting his heroism and masculinity, this arose because he was surprised by the sudden death of his son due to illness.

Keywords: Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR Decoupling, Tax Avoidance. This paper proposes a conceptual framework to investigate the relationship between CSR and tax avoidance. CSR and tax avoidance are claimed to share a similar feature of morality, thereby forming the basis of argument in the linkage between the two strategies at corporate level. While prior studies examined the relationship to ascertain corporate intention of engaging in CSR, this paper proposes that the corporate intention, implied by CSR decoupling, be embedded in the framework to investigate corporate perception on what constitutes moral judgment. Specifically, this paper proposes a framework to understand if companies view tax avoidance as an immoral act. The premise of neo-institutional theory is utilised to explain the intention of CSR, through CSR decoupling, and its influence on tax avoidance. This paper proposes that the significant gap in the literature should be addressed by incorporating the intention of CSR into examination rather than concluding it; and seek to ascertain if companies view tax avoidance as immoral, concluding the huge assumption that prior studies have relied on.

This article describes the Islamic thought of Wasaṭiyah one of the Acehnese scholars, Tgk. H. Muhammad Yusuf A. Wahab or well-known as Tu Sop Jeunieb and currently serves as Chairman of the Ulama Dayah Aceh Association (HUDA). Tu Sop is active in preaching by word and deed. To expand the reach of his da'wah, Tu Sop also utilizes modern da'wah facilities such as social media, radio, websites, and others. The scope of his da'wah includes political, social, moral, and spiritual aspects, aqidah, motivation and education. This research uses a qualitative approach and focuses on the thoughts of the characters. Data were collected through document review, observation, and in-depth interviews. The data were then analyzed interpretively. The results of the study show that Tu Sop Jeunieb's thoughts emphasize aspects of the Islamic moderation approach or the "middle" view in religion. Tu Sop's narrative is always in the middle between two clashes with the aim of finding common ground in differences. Tu Sop looked at the Ahlusunnah wal Jamā’ah in a Wasaṭiyah manner. He also consistently to invite unity (Wiḥdat al-Ummah), have character and maintain a sense of security, balance between the world and the hereafter, balance between reason and sacred texts, orientation to goodness, hikmah and good advice, reject all kind of deviation. The results of this study are very important as a guide in grounding the concept of Wasaṭiyah Islam which is increasingly needed lately, especially when Muslims are faced with various potential conflicts and divisions.

This articel aims to examine the Psychotherapy Aspect of a servant in his prayer on Qasidah Samih Al- Qaseem “’Ana muta’assif". In the beginning of Qasidah he starts by calling his God and then complains about his suffering. The poet describes that he really needs help and forgiveness from his God so that the suffering he experiences disappears. And he considers his sin to be the cause of the suffering. This is a new study in literature by looking at the psychological aspects of a servant which is studied with Islamic Psychotherapy Theory which is divided into four sides, namely morals, mental, spiritual, and physical.

Digital divide, trust towards e-commerce system, and facilitating conditions as the factors impacting the use intention of the international trade center were examined in this study, through a survey carried out on 500 Jordanian students. The proposed conceptual model was empirically tested, and significant impact of trust and facilitating conditions on intention to use the international trade center was affirmed. Meanwhile, the digital divide did not impact the intention to use the international trade center. Being limited to the Jordanian context, the study findings may not be generalizable to other countries.

The determinants of bring-your-own-device (BYOD) use protection intentions affecting BYOD usage protection behaviors were examined in this study. The determinants of employees’ behavioral intention to use and their actual protection behavior in protecting their devices BYOD environment were identified. Jordanian residents aged 18 and above, with mobile learning behavioral usage awareness, made up the study population. A survey questionnaire was used to obtain the data, while the proposed research model was tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show positive impact of BYOD usage protection intention on mobile learning behavioral usage, while attitude showed insignificant impact on BODY usage protection intention. Subjective norms significantly affected BYOD usage protection intention, while information security awareness showed insignificant impact on BYOD usage protection intention.

This study investigates the effects of powerful Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) on earnings quality in a setting where CEOs have strong dominance over other top executives and occasionally attempt to exert their influence over corporate regulatory bodies. Using 10-year longitudinal data for the period from 2010 to 2019 and 1,395 firm-year observations from listed non-financial firms in Bangladesh, we found that CEOs' political power and CEOs with high structural and expert power have a significant detrimental effect on earnings quality. Ownership and prestige power have an insignificant impact on earnings quality. These powerful CEOs use accrual and real activity manipulation techniques together to manage the earnings. This study uses the system-generalized method of moment estimates for estimation purposes, and the results remain robust when alternative earnings quality proxies are used. Taken together, our results suggest that CEOs' political duality (i.e., serving simultaneously as a member of parliament and a CEO) should be restricted and that a CEO's tenure should be limited to a reasonable period. This research adds to the existing body of knowledge by offering empirical support for CEO power dynamics on earnings quality, specifically political and prestige power.

This research explores the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) success in an organizational setting that has been rarely explored. Owing to the lack of theoretical attention, the researchers decided to evaluate ERP success in the context of Jordanian-listed companies. This quantitative study employed the DeLone and McLean success model, while questionnaires were used to collect the data. The questionnaires were mailed to 388 CEOs and CIOs, and a total of 358 valid questionnaires were evaluated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Information quality, system quality, training quality, and ease of use, all impacted manager satisfaction (here after known as user satisfaction) positively, while user satisfaction affected ERP success. Additionally, ERP success was influenced by the quality of training, system quality, and IT-business strategic alignment. The results show that service quality did not significantly affect user satisfaction. Furthermore, user satisfaction showed a mediating effect on the relationship between training quality and ERP success. However, user satisfaction did not mediate the relationship between ease of use and ERP success. The findings will aid managers and practitioners in better understanding the elements that influence ERP success among Jordanian-listed firms.

Without the need for third-party authorization, cryptocurrency allows for anonymous, secure, rapid, and low-cost financial transactions. Cryptocurrencies are becoming more widely acknowledged around the world, but their uses remain limited. The present study investigated the factors that propel behavioral intention of individuals to use cryptocurrency in Jordan using the extended Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) model. Survey questionnaires were sent to 1000 active Facebook users to gather data, and the entire 600 valid responses were evaluated utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Subjected norm, perceived risk, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, perceived ease of use and trust, all impacted intention to use cryptocurrency positively, while attitude towards cryptocurrency affected intention to use cryptocurrency. Additionally, attitude towards cryptocurrency was influenced by perceived risk, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and perceived ease of use; while facilitating condition did not show influence. Also, attitude towards cryptocurrency had a mediating influence on the association between subjected norm, perceived risk, perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and intention to use cryptocurrency.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui retorika Presiden Joko Widodo dalam mempersuasi masyarakat Indonesia dalam rangka menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 dengan perspektif sosiolinguistik. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, bahwa sistematika penulisan ataupun metode penelitian kualitatif itu merupakan satu prosedur penelitian yang kata-kata atau tulisan orang yang kita jadikan obyek tersebut serta prilakunya dapat kita amati serta dideskripsikan, yang kemudian penelitian ini disebut dengan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kalimat ataupun kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo semuanya mengandung politis, karena dari sepuluh pokok pikiran Jean Stilwell Peccei dan Jason Jones, hanya satu pokok pikiran saja yang tidak penulis temukan dalam kalimat maupun kata Presiden Joko Widodo yaitu pokok pikiran Paralelisme. Menurut peneliti itu merupakan hal yang lumrah bagi seorang Presiden, karena ia merupakan pemimpin politik tertinggi di Indonesia, karena setiap kata maupun kalimat yang ia lontarkan, akan sangat berpengaruh bagi pemerintahannya serta masyarakat umumnya.

This study aims to determine the planning, organization, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of superior class education programs at MTsN 2 Medan. This study uses a qualitative method. This type of qualitative method used is naturalistic interactive, namely research on natural reciprocal relationships. Based on this qualitative approach, according to the researcher, it is very relevant because it aims to find out how the implementation of superior class program education management at MTs N 2 Medan. There are five findings in this study after data reduction/exposure is carried out, namely: the superior class program planning is the policy of the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion. Second, organizing superior classes is carried out by establishing/holding an exceptional coordinator, a superior class program coordinator. Third, the implementation of the addition of subjects related to and the addition of tutoring. Fourth, supervision of the superior class program at MTs N 2 Medan was carried out by cooperating with the principal of the madrasah and the superior class coordinator. The last, the evaluation of the flagship class program is carried out (once a month) by tutoring in collaboration with the madrasah.

Notably, the prototypes discussed have undergone rigorous evaluation, ensuring they meet technical benchmarks while aligning with the diverse linguistic and gender aspects inherent to developed nations. By synthesizing cultural sensitivity with cutting-edge design, this article encourages educators, developers, and decision-makers to adopt holistic approaches in creating HEI prototypes. Incorporating cultural inclusivity fosters equitable learning environments and positions higher education to be both forward-thinking and deeply rooted in the cultural tapestry it serves. Medication compliance is essential to support the recovery of one's health. Prescribed medication for patients should be taken in accordance with the instructions, such as taking it after a meal, so patients should adhere to these guidelines for the medication to work optimally. Typically, medication reminder devices that have been designed continuously sound alarms until the user takes the medication. This allows users to meet the requirements before taking the medication, for example, having a meal if necessary. This medication reminder device is built with a snooze button that allows users to postpone the alarm so they can complete the necessary tasks before taking the medication. It also features LED lights to indicate the medication box that needs to be taken. The LCD displays real-time information, the next medication time, and the type of medication to be taken. The result of creating this device is that it can activate alarms according to the specified schedule and activate the LED lights corresponding to the medication box to be taken. The snooze function works when the snooze button is pressed and when the medication is not taken for 1 minute. After being postponed, the alarm will reactivate after 3 minutes. Additionally, notifications are also successfully sent to the Telegram application connected to the device. There is a delay of approximately 15-30 seconds when activating the alarm.
