In the current study, wild land plant specimens were collected during the flowering and fruiting period of these plants in February, April, June, August, andOctober 2023 from the riparian area of the Dujail River, Salahaldin Province, north of Baghdad, Iraq. Identified and the results showed that the number of these species were: 104 species, belong to 29 plant families,Included 26 dicotyledon families with 76 genera and 96 species. The asteraceae family was the most diverse, with 30 species, followed by Brassicaceae with (12) species. Additionally, there were 13 families represented by only one species in Dujail Riverwhich included: Apocynaceae, Berberidaceae, Capparaceae, Caryophyllaceae, Convolvulaceae, Geraniaceae, Lythraceae, Malvaceae, Papaveraceae, Plumbaginaceae, Primulaceae, Rutaceae and Urticaceae. For the monocotyledonseven genera and eight species. The Poaceae family was the most diverse, with five genera and five species, followed by Cyperaceae which has one genus and two species.

A survey and revised checklist of the species belonging to the family of Compositae for the specimens which are collected and deposited previously at the herbarium of the Iraq Natural History Research Center and Museum, in addition to the current specimens collected for the period 2016-2021. A total of 85 species belonging to 49 genera and 16 tribes are revised with their synonyms, locality, and distributions, flowering and fruiting period.

Fog Computing is a new concept made by Cisco to provide same functionalities of Cloud Computing but near to Things to enhance performance such as reduce delay and response time. Packet loss may occur on single Fog server over a huge number of messages from Things because of several factors like limited bandwidth and capacity of queues in server. In this paper, Internet of Things based Fog-to-Cloud architecture is proposed to solve the problem of packet loss on Fog server using Load Balancing and virtualization. The architecture consists of 5 layers, namely: Things, gateway, Fog, Cloud, and application. Fog layer is virtualized to specified number of Fog servers using Graphical Network Simulator-3 and VirtualBox on local physical server. Server Load Balancing router is configured to distribute the huge traffic in Weighted Round Robin technique using Message Queue Telemetry Transport protocol. Then, maximum message from Fog layer are selected and sent to Cloud layer and the rest of messages are deleted within 1 hour using our proposed Data-in-Motion technique for storage, processing, and monitoring of messages. Thus, improving the performance of the Fog layer for storage and processing of messages, as well as reducing the packet loss to half and increasing throughput to 4 times than using single Fog server.

In an experimental study to evaluate the immunopathological effect of transfer factor on the reticuloendothelial organs of white mice and their protection against their challenge infection with Salmonella typhi. The results of this study were showed the followings: 1. Transfer factor recipient group: it was showed an early granulomatous lesions in the liver. Reactive hyperplasia in the T cell regions of the spleen and mediastinal lymph node. The early granulomas were persisted during 7th day and slightly regressed on 14th day postinoculation. 2. Infected group with S. typhi: It was showed a multifocal microabscesses consisted of aggregates of neutrophils in the focal area of necrosis, which was evident during 7th day and gradually transform into granulomas on 14th day postinoculation. 3. Transfer factor recipient and challenge infection group: It was showed well developed granulomatous reactions, which indicate an emergence of cellular immunity (delayed type hypersensitivity reaction). These granulomas were more evident on 7th day and slightly regressed on 14th day postinoculation; providing a transfer factor role in tissue reaction and termination of infection.

Orobanche aegyptiaca Pers., Orobanche cernua L. and Orobanche coelestis (Reut.) Boiss. and Reut. ex Beck are plants belong to the Orobanchaceae family in Iraq. Morphological and anatomical study of the three species is very important to to know the qualities that help us to distinguish between them. To study the morphological and anatomical traits the samples were collected from Baghdad, the southern deserts, and Kurdistan of Iraq between 2016-2018 during the flowering period (spring). The plant was preserved in special glass ampoules containing alcohol 70% for the purpose of conducting the transvere anatomy section process. The identity and morphological study as well as the anatomical study of the three species were determined by studying the anatomical transverse sections of the stem and studying the trichomes which are generally divided into two parts: Non-glandular trichomes which consist of from one or more cells, different lengths with acute or obtuse apices, and glandular trichomes which consist of a multicellular or unicellular head and stalks depended on their shape, number of cells and general characteristics as a method or Identity imprint of the plant used to differentiate among the studied species. Significant differences were observed in the general and anatomical appearance. The species Orobanche aegyptiaca Pers. is more dense in the amount of trichomes spread in all parts of the plant compared to other, O. aegyptiaca Pers. be containing 18–22 layers of parenchyma cells, the species O. cernua L. consists of 10-16 layer of parenchyma cells and the species O. coelestis (Reut.) Boiss. And Reut.exBeck consists of 20-24 layers of parenchyma cells. Morphological and anatomical study have proven its effectiveness in determining mportant characteristics in diagnosing species and distinguishing between them.

Internet of Things (IoT) consists of smart Things with evolution of ubiquitous computing. Fog Computing (FC) processes and analyzes data of these sensors near to users. However, the ever-increasing in number of Things and the consequent explosion in data traffic have led to fail traditional solutions of centralized storage. Blockchain is a new technology developed as a shared ledger build around peer-to-peer network to produce unchangeable blocks that contain multiple data. These blocks are linked to previous ones in sequence called chain through hash functions. Participants in blockchain selects a leader through one of consensus algorithms who adds new blocks in the chain to prevent dishonest nodes from creating invalid blocks. In this paper, we propose IoT based blockchain architecture named blockchain of Things to store medical records in a distributed manner. The architecture is emulated on Fog server Linux-based using Node.js and Postman. Three consensus protocols, namely: Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), and Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) are emulated and communicated using WebSocket. The consensus algorithms are evaluated in terms of CPU utilization and memory usage. The results show that PoS compared to PoW and PBFT is more lightweight and beneficial to IoT application.

Hydroplaning is one the most dangerous phenomena which effect on the safety of driving cars on wet roads, then, the critical speed of slipping cars is an important parameter in the hydroplaning ,and depends on the properties of the following three parameters: tires, water layer and road surface. The road texture is the main property of road specifications which affect directly on the critical speed of the vehicle. In the present work, the properties of road roughness and influence of surface texture on critical speed of vehicle are studied with variation of the following parameters: thickness and dynamic viscosity of water on the road surface and the vehicle load. The results showed that increasing the road surface roughness and the vehicle load both has a appositive influence on the critical speed (increase)of the vehicle, while increasing the dynamic viscosity and thickness of the water layer on the road surface has a negative influence on the critical speed (decrease) of the vehicle.

Triterpenes are abundant group of natural compounds with important structural components of plant’s cell membranes. Free triterpenes stabilize phospholipid bilayers in plant cell membranes just as cholesterol does in animal cell membranes. Lupeol is a pentacyclic trite- rpene reported to have important physiological and therapeutic effects in human health issues, therefore its extraction from Calendula officinalis flowers and detection by GC-MS is of significant importance.

The Internet of Things (IoT) contains smart devices placed in different environments, connected with each other across networks and Internet. The integration between Things and Cloud Computing (CC) for monitoring and permanent storage is required for future IoT applications. Therefore, this paper proposes IoT architecture based Cloud for healthcare network when patients are remotely monitored by their family and physicians. This proposed architecture is different from the traditional IoT architecture that consists of Things, getaways, middleware, and application layers which in turn need connectivity insurance between them. The proposed architecture is designed and configured using Cisco Packet Tracer version 7.0 over two sites: Site 'A' located at smart home and site 'B' located at the smart hospital. The results show that the IoT based Cloud enhances the patient life style by using smart sensors and mobile application, as well as the physicians can remotely monitor the data in real time.

The work in this paper tries to enhance the performance of IoT by modifying the Cloud based architecture in terms of storage, processing, and Load Balancing (LB). The assumption is as follows: In a single Fog server, high traffic coming from Things may cause packet loss which in turn affect the overall IoT performance. To overcome such a situation, LB on Fog layer is proposed and implemented practically using virtualization technology. The proposed IoT based Fog-To-Cloud and Data-inMotion with LB (IoT-F2CDM-LB) architecture consists of two load balancers; HAProxy and Server Load Balancing (SLB), are used to distribute messages from Things to four virtualized Fog servers according to Least Connection technique. The implementation is carried out using VirtualBox and GNS3. Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol is used to transfer messages between layers. Both load balancers result in packet loss reduction by 50%, lower response time and higher throughput.

The present study describes a protocol for rapid in vitro micropropagation of Albizia lebbeck during the period of October 2007 to October 2009 through nodal segments containing axillary buds. The buds induced to produce a large number of multiple shoots by culturing on MS medium supplemented with different concentrations of BA (benzyladenine) and NAA (α-naphthalene acetic acid). The maximum number of shoots per explants was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/L BA and 0.1 mg/L NAA was (4.8) after 4 weeks of culture. Excised shoots were rooted on half strength MS medium fortified with 0.5 mg/L either IBA (indolbutyric acid) or NAA alone. The complete plantlets thus obtained were successfully transferred to soil.

A protocol has been developed for micropropagation of Arachis hypogea L. under in vitro conditions. Nodal explants gave rise to multiple shoots when cultured on MS medium supplemented with different concentrations of BA (benzyladenine) with Kin (Kinetin) or GA3 (gibberellic acid). The highest response of shoot multiplication was obtained in MS containing 1.5 mg.l¯¹ BA and 0.5 mg.L¯¹ Kin. The regenerated shootlets were rooted on MS (Murashige and Skoog) basal medium with different concentrations of IBA (indolbutyric acid) and IAA (indol acetic acid). The highest response of rooting was achieved with IBA at 0.05 + IAA at 0.05 mg.L¯¹. The maximum frequency of rooting and highest number of roots were produced on medium containing IBA 0.05 mg.L¯¹ and IAA 0.05 mg.L¯¹. The plantlets, thus successfully established in soil.

A simple, accurate and precise spectrophotometric method has been proposed for the determination of Mefenamic acid(MA) in dosage forms. Proposed method based on the reaction of cited drug with 1,2-Naphthoquinone-4-Sulfonic sodium (NQS). The optimum experimental condition have been studied. Beer's Law is obeyed in the concentration range 0.5-10.0 µg/mL at 450nm with detection limit of 0.189µg/mL. Effect of pH, reaction time, and volume of NQS on the determination of Mefenamic acid, have been examined. The proposed method has been successfully applied for the determination of Mefenamic acid in pharmaceutical preparations.

Background: Hypertension is a chronic medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is elevated, it's classified as either primary (essential) hypertension or secondary hypertension, and it increases the risk of ischemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease and other cardiovascular diseases. Several classes of medications collectively referred to as antihypertensive drugs like beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers, renin inhibitors and statins (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor. Statin medication may have some beneficial effects when subjects have dental plaque or signs of periodontitis as gingival bleeding. The purpose of this study were to assess the oral health in hypertensive patients are treated with statins in terms of salivary flow rate, pH and oral health indices. Materials and Methods: Ninety saliva specimens collected from three groups of subjects (thirty healthy patients "control" Group I), thirty hypertensive patients treated with anti-hypertensive medications without taking statins (Group II) and thirty hypertensive patients treated with anti-hypertensive medications with statins (Group III). Unstimulated saliva was collected from each patients and participants for assessment of salivary flow rate and salivary pH. Results: Salivary flow rate is reduced in Group II and III patients compared with Group I. Significant low salivary flow rate observed in Group III patients (hypertensive treated with statins) compared with Group II (hypertensive untreated with statins) and Group I (healthy subjects); The median value of gingival index is significantly higher in Group II compared with corresponding value in Group I, while it attended a significant low value in Group III patients; There is no significant difference in DMF score between Group I and Group III, while a significant high score observed in Group II compared with Group I ; The percent of carries restoration in patients of Group II is significantly low compared with corresponding value of Group I . Although the percent of carries restoration in patients of Group III is less than corresponding value of Group I but it does not reach significant level. Conclusions: Patients using statins therapy are more likely have an improvement in gingival index, DMF score and carries restoration. The salivary flow rate is reduced in patients treated with statins medications, statins therapy have a beneficial effect on the oral cavity.

ABSTRACT Background: One of the major problems of all ceramic restorations is their probable fracture against the occlusal forces. The objective of this in vitro study was to evaluate the effect of two gingival finishing lines (90°shoulder and deep chamfer) on the fracture resistance of full contour CAD/CAM and heat press all-ceramic crowns. Materials and Methods: Thirty two maxillary first premolars were prepared to receive full contour CAD/CAM (zolid) and heat press (Cergo Kiss) ceramic crowns using a special paralleling device (Parallel-A-Prep). The teeth were divided into four groups according to the type of finishing line prepared. Each crown was cemented to its corresponding tooth using self-etch, self-adhesive dual cure resin cement. Following storage for 1 week in distilled water at room temperature, teeth were subjected to thermal cycling. Fracture resistance was determined using a universal testing machine, and the samples were investigated microscopically from the point of view of the origin of the failure. Statistical analysis was carried out using the one-way ANOVA and Student’s t-tests. Results: The mean values of fracture resistance for CAD/CAM group showed 1367.250+178.967 N for 90°shoulder margins and 1109.250+252.455 N for the deep chamfer margins. ANOVA test results revealed high significance between and within the groups. The mean values of fracture resistance for heat press group were 548.562+272.471 N for 90°shoulder margins and 247.912+96.995 N for the deep chamfer margins expressing statistical significance. Conclusions: The results of this study pointed to a relationship between the design of the cervical finishing line and the fracture strength of the full CAD/CAM crowns and the full heat press ceramic crowns. Both 90° shoulder and deep chamfer finishing lines are suitable for zolid crowns while the 90° shoulder is more suitable for the Cergo Kiss crowns than the deep chamfer preparation. During the 2nd week post inoculation of thirteen rabbits with Mycobacterium bovis tuberculosis lesions appeared in the lungs, liver, spleen, kidney, mediastinal and hepatic lymph nodes and in the omentum with an equal distribution in these organs. During the 4th week post inoculation, these tuberculosis lesions increased in size to become well developed granulomas with caseated centers. These granulomas persisted to the 6th, 8th and 10th weeks post inoculation and became more encapsulated later on. Three rabbits died during the 7th week post inoculation due to generalized tuberculosis.
