- Abstract
This study examines the development and implications of a P2P(peer-to-peer) carrental platform designed specifically for students at Linköping University. In the digitalage where the economy is increasingly shared, trust and navigability are fundamentallyimportant for the success of E-commerce platforms, particularly those involving P2P inter-actions. This research delves into the aspects of trustworthiness and user-friendly naviga-tion in the context of a student-based car rental website. By employing a combination ofsurvey research, prototyping, and usability testing, the study identifies essential featuresthat enhance user trust and facilitate ease of use. These features include secure paymentsystems, clear and intuitive website navigation, and responsive web design. The findingsindicate that a well-designed, trustworthy, and navigable website not only supports theoperational success of car rental platforms but also enhances user satisfaction and engage-ment. The study contributes to the broader understanding of digital platform reliability, offering valuable insights for developers and stakeholders in the P2P economy.
