1. Saturation effect in confined quantum systems with energy-dependent potentials

Abstract: In this paper, we study the saturation effect in the energy or mass spectra of three quantum models with energy-dependent potentials: the harmonic oscillator, the hydrogen atom, and the heavy quarkonia. We used the method proposed in \cite{garcia2009exactly}, which is based on studying various canonical point and gauge transformations applied to a function, $g(x)$, multiplied by a given differential equation of known solutions as special orthogonal functions, that convert it into a Schr{{\"o}}dinger-like equation. The first two models stem from implementing the method on the confluent hypergeometric differential of the well-known solutions ${}_1 F_1$, while the third model (heavy quarkonia) stems possibly from the hypergeometric differential of the well-known solutions ${}_2 F_1$. In particular, the heavy quarkonia mass spectra for both $c\bar c$ and $b\bar b$ are produced at different values of the saturation parameter $\lambda$ and compared with the available experimental data. It is found that these systems may exhibit saturation effect when the energy-dependent effect is included.

2. Hard confinement of a two-particle quantum system using the variational method

Abstract: The variational method is used to study the hard confinement of a two-particle quantum system in two potential models, the Cornell potential and the global potential, with Dirichlet-type boundary conditions at various cut-off radii. The trial wavefunction is constructed as the product of the $1S$ free hydrogen atom wavefunction or $1S$ free harmonic oscillator wavefunction times a cut-off function of the form $(r-z)$ to ensure hard entrapment within a sphere of radius $z$. The behavior of $|\psi|^2$, the wavefunction at the origin (WFO), and the mean radius $\ev{r}$ are computed for different situations and compared for the two potential models.

3. Quantization of the Bateman damping system with conformable derivative

Abstract: In this work, the conformable Bateman Lagrangian for the damped harmonic oscillator system is proposed using the conformable derivative concept. In other words, the integer derivatives are replaced by conformable derivatives of order $\alpha$ with $0<\alpha\leq 1$. The corresponding conformable Euler-Lagrange equations of motion and fractional Hamiltonian are then obtained. The system is then canonically quantized and the conformable Schrodinger equation is constructed. The fractional-order dependence of the energy eigenvalues $E_n ^\alpha$ and eigenfunctions $\psi_n ^\alpha$ are obtained using using suitable transformations and the extended fractional Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The corresponding conformable continuity equation is also derived and the probability density and probability current are thus suitably defined. The probability density evolution as well as its dependence on $\alpha$ is plotted and analyzed for various situations. It is found that the energy eigenvalues are real and there are sort of gradual ordering in the behavior of the probability densities.

4. Analytic study of conformable Schrodinger equation with Hydrogen atom

Abstract: In this paper, the conformable Schrodinger equation for hydrogen atom with given conformable potential is solved. The conformable wave functions and energy levels are obtained, and the traditional energy levels and wave function for hydrogen atom are recovered when $\alpha = 1$. The probability density for the first three levels and different values of $\alpha$ is plotted. It is observed that the probability density gradually convert from $\alpha=0.5$ to $\alpha = 1$ for all levels.

7. The effect of deformation of special relativity by conformable derivative

Abstract: In the article, the deformation of special relativity within the frame of conformable derivative is formulated. Within this context, the two postulates of the theory were re-stated. And, the addition of velocity laws were derived and used to verify the constancy of the speed of light. The invariance principle of the laws of physics is demonstrated for some typical illustrative examples, namely, the conformable wave equation, the conformable Schrodinger equation, and the conformable Gordon-Klein equation. The current formalism may be applicable when using special relativity in a nonlinear or dispersive medium.

8. WKB Approximation with Conformable Operator

Abstract: In this paper, the WKB method is extended to be applicable for conformable Hamiltonian systems where the concept of conformable operator with fractional order $\alpha$ is used. The WKB approximation for the $\alpha$-wavefunction is derived when the potential is slowly varying in space. The paper is furnished with some illustrative examples to demonstrate the method. The quantities of the conformable form are found to be inexact agreement with traditional quantities when $\alpha=1$.

9. Heavy quarkonia properties from a hard-wall confinement potential model with conformal symmetry perturbing effects

Abstract: Heavy $c\bar c$ and $b\bar b $ quarkonia are considered as systems confined within a hard-wall potential shaped after a linear combination of a cotangent-- with a square co-secant function. Wave functions and energy spectra are then obtained in closed forms in solving by the Nikiforov-Uvarov method the associated radial Schr\"{o}dinger equation in the presence of a centrifugal term. The interest in this potential is that in one parametrization it can account for a conformal symmetry of the strong interaction, and in another for its perturbation, a reason for which we here employ it to study status of conformal symmetry in the heavy flavor sector. The resulting predictions on heavy quarkonia mass spectra and root mean square radii are compared with the available experimental data, as well as with predictions by other theoretical approaches. We observe that a relatively small conformal symmetry perturbing term in the potential suffices to achieve good agreement with data.

Abstract: This is a response to a recently reported comment [1] on paper [J. Math. Phys.59, 082105 (2018)] regarding the quantization of damped harmonic oscillator using a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian with real energy eigenvalues. We assert here that the calculation of Eq. (29) of [2] is incorrect, and thus the subsequent steps via the Nikiforov-Uvarov method are affected, and the energy eigenvalues should have been complex. However, we show here that the Hermiticity of the Hamiltonian should be firstly achieved to make the correct transition from classical Hamiltonian to quantum counterpart, and this can be reached using the symmetrization rule. Applying the canonical quantization on the resulted Hermitian Hamiltonian and then using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method correctly, the energy eigenvalues will be real and exactly as given by Eq. Abstract: The PHENIX collaboration presents first measurements of low-momentum ($0.4$1\,GeV/$c$) direct-photon yield $dN_{\gamma}^{\rm dir}/d\eta$ is a smooth function of $dN_{\rm ch}/d\eta$ and can be well described as proportional to $(dN_{\rm ch}/d\eta)^\alpha$ with $\alpha{\approx}1.25$. This scaling behavior holds for a wide range of beam energies at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider and the Large Hadron Collider, for centrality selected samples, as well as for different, $A$$+$$A$ collision systems. At a given beam energy the scaling also holds for high $p_T$ ($>5$\,GeV/$c$) but when results from different collision energies are compared, an additional $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}$-dependent multiplicative factor is needed to describe the integrated-direct-photon yield., Comment: 673 authors from 82 institutions, 10 pages, 4 figures. v2 is version accepted for publication in Physical Review Letters. Abstract: The PHENIX collaboration presents first measurements of low-momentum (0.41 GeV/c) direct-photon yield dN_{γ}^{dir}/dη is a smooth function of dN_{ch}/dη and can be well described as proportional to (dN_{ch}/dη)^{α} with α≈1.25. This scaling behavior holds for a wide range of beam energies at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider and the Large Hadron Collider, for centrality selected samples, as well as for different A+A collision systems. At a given beam energy, the scaling also holds for high p_{T} (>5 GeV/c), but when results from different collision energies are compared, an additional sqrt[s_{NN}]-dependent multiplicative factor is needed to describe the integrated-direct-photon yield.

13. Quantization of fractional harmonic oscillator using creation and annihilation operators

Abstract: In this article, the Hamiltonian for the conformable harmonic oscillator used in the previous study [Chung WS, Zare S, Hassanabadi H, Maghsoodi E. The effect of fractional calculus on the formation of quantum-mechanical operators. Math Method Appl Sci. 2020;43(11):6950–67.] is written in terms of fractional operators that we called α\alpha -creation and α\alpha -annihilation operators. It is found that these operators have the following influence on the energy states. For a given order α\alpha , the α\alpha -creation operator promotes the state while the α\alpha -annihilation operator demotes the state. The system is then quantized using these creation and annihilation operators and the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are obtained. The eigenfunctions are expressed in terms of the conformable Hermite functions. The results for the traditional quantum harmonic oscillator are found to be recovered by setting α=1\alpha =1.

14. Generalized relativistic anisotropic models for compact stars

Abstract: We present new anisotropic generalization of Buchdahl [1] type perfect fluid solution by using the method of earlier work [2]. In similar approach we have constructed the new pressure anisotropy factor ${\Delta}$ by the help both the metric potential $e^{\lambda}$ and $e^{\nu}$. The metric potential $e^{\lambda}$ same as Buchdahl [1] and $e^{\nu}$ is monotonic increasing function as suggested by Lake [3]. After that we obtain new well behaved general solution for anisotropic fluid distribution. We calculated the physical quantities like energy density, radial and tangential pressures, velocity of sound and red-shift etc. We observe that these quantities are positive and finite inside the compact star. Also note that mass and radius of our models can represent the structure of realistic astrophysical objects such as like Her X-1 and RXJ1856-37., Comment: 18 pages, 13 figures (Submitted in Eur. Abstract: Measurements of midrapidity charged particle multiplicity distributions, $dN_{\rm ch}/d\eta$, and midrapidity transverse-energy distributions, $dE_T/d\eta$, are presented for a variety of collision systems and energies. Included are distributions for Au$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$, 130, 62.4, 39, 27, 19.6, 14.5, and 7.7 GeV, Cu$+$Cu collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ and 62.4 GeV, Cu$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV, U$+$U collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=193$ GeV, $d$$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV, $^{3}$He$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV, and $p$$+$$p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV. Centrality-dependent distributions at midrapidity are presented in terms of the number of nucleon participants, $N_{\rm part}$, and the number of constituent quark participants, $N_{q{\rm p}}$. For all $A$$+$$A$ collisions down to $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=7.7$ GeV, it is observed that the midrapidity data are better described by scaling with $N_{q{\rm p}}$ than scaling with $N_{\rm part}$. Also presented are estimates of the Bjorken energy density, $\varepsilon_{\rm BJ}$, and the ratio of $dE_T/d\eta$ to $dN_{\rm ch}/d\eta$, the latter of which is seen to be constant as a function of centrality for all systems., Comment: 706 authors, 32 pages, 20 figures, 34 tables, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012 data. v2 is version accepted for publication in Phys. Abstract: We have studied the dependence of azimuthal anisotropy $v_2$ for inclusive and identified charged hadrons in Au$+$Au and Cu$+$Cu collisions on collision energy, species, and centrality. The values of $v_2$ as a function of transverse momentum $p_T$ and centrality in Au$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}$=200 GeV and 62.4 GeV are the same within uncertainties. However, in Cu$+$Cu collisions we observe a decrease in $v_2$ values as the collision energy is reduced from 200 to 62.4 GeV. The decrease is larger in the more peripheral collisions. By examining both Au$+$Au and Cu$+$Cu collisions we find that $v_2$ depends both on eccentricity and the number of participants, $N_{\rm part}$. We observe that $v_2$ divided by eccentricity ($\varepsilon$) monotonically increases with $N_{\rm part}$ and scales as ${N_{\rm part}^{1/3}}$. The Cu$+$Cu data at 62.4 GeV falls below the other scaled $v_{2}$ data. For identified hadrons, $v_2$ divided by the number of constituent quarks $n_q$ is independent of hadron species as a function of transverse kinetic energy $KE_T=m_T-m$ between $0.1

Abstract: Measurements of the midrapidity transverse energy distribution, $d\Et/d\eta$, are presented for $p$$+$$p$, $d$$+$Au, and Au$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV and additionally for Au$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=62.4$ and 130 GeV. The $d\Et/d\eta$ distributions are first compared with the number of nucleon participants $N_{\rm part}$, number of binary collisions $N_{\rm coll}$, and number of constituent-quark participants $N_{qp}$ calculated from a Glauber model based on the nuclear geometry. For Au$+$Au, $\mean{d\Et/d\eta}/N_{\rm part}$ increases with $N_{\rm part}$, while $\mean{d\Et/d\eta}/N_{qp}$ is approximately constant for all three energies. This indicates that the two component ansatz, $dE_{T}/d\eta \propto (1-x) N_{\rm part}/2 + x N_{\rm coll}$, which has been used to represent $E_T$ distributions, is simply a proxy for $N_{qp}$, and that the $N_{\rm coll}$ term does not represent a hard-scattering component in $E_T$ distributions. The $dE_{T}/d\eta$ distributions of Au$+$Au and $d$$+$Au are then calculated from the measured $p$$+$$p$ $E_T$ distribution using two models that both reproduce the Au$+$Au data. However, while the number-of-constituent-quark-participant model agrees well with the $d$$+$Au data, the additive-quark model does not., Comment: 391 authors, 24 pages, 19 figures, and 15 Tables. Abstract: We report the measurement of direct photons at midrapidity in Au+Au collisions at sqrt{s_NN} = 200 GeV. The direct photon signal was extracted for the transverse-momentum range of 4 GeV/c < p_T < 22 GeV/c, using a statistical method to subtract decay photons from the inclusive-photon sample. The direct-photon nuclear-modification factor R_AA was calculated as a function of p_T for different Au+Au collision centralities using the measured p+p direct-photon spectrum and compared to theoretical predictions. R_AA was found to be consistent with unity for all centralities over the entire measured p_T range. Theoretical models that account for modifications of initial-direct-photon production due to modified-parton-distribution functions in Au and the different isospin composition of the nuclei, predict a modest change of R_AA from unity and are consistent with the data. Models with compensating effects of the quark-gluon plasma on high-energy photons, such as suppression of jet-fragmentation photons and induced-photon bremsstrahlung from partons traversing the medium, are also consistent with this measurement., Comment: PHENIX Collaboration, 346 authors, 8 pages, 4 figures, 1 table. Abstract: The PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) has measured omega meson production via leptonic and hadronic decay channels in p+p, d+Au, Cu+Cu, and Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV. The invariant transverse momentum spectra measured in different decay modes give consistent results. Measurements in the hadronic decay channel in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions show that omega production has a suppression pattern at high transverse momentum, similar to that of pi^0 and eta in central collisions, but no suppression is observed in peripheral collisions. The nuclear modification factors, R_AA, are consistent in Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions at similar numbers of participant nucleons., Comment: 542 authors, pages, 11 figures, 3 tables. Submitted to Phys. Abstract: Transverse momentum (p^e_T) spectra of electrons from semileptonic weak decays of heavy flavor mesons in the range of 0.3 < p^e_T < 9.0 GeV/c have been measured at mid-rapidity (|eta| < 0.35) by the PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider in p+p and Au+Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN)=200 GeV. The nuclear modification factor R_AA with respect to p+p collisions indicates substantial energy loss of heavy quarks in the produced medium. In addition, the azimuthal anisotropy parameter v_2 has been measured for 0.3 < p^e_T < 5.0 GeV/c in Au+Au collisions. Comparisons of R_AA and v_2 are made to various model calculations., Comment: 422 authors from 59 institutions, 48 pages, 46 figures, 18 tables. v2 removes line numbers and matches submission to PRC. Abstract: In this paper, the deformation of special relativity within the frame of conformable derivative is formulated. Within this context, the two postulates of the theory are re-stated. Then, the addition of velocity laws are derived and used to verify the constancy of the speed of light. The invariance principle of the laws of physics is demonstrated for some typical illustrative examples, namely, the conformable wave equation, the conformable Schrodinger equation, the conformable Klein-Gordon equation, and conformable Dirac equation. The current formalism may be applicable when using special relativity in a nonlinear or dispersive medium.

Abstract: In this article, the Hamiltonian for the conformable harmonic oscillator used in the previous study [Chung WS, Zare S, Hassanabadi H, Maghsoodi E. The effect of fractional calculus on the formation of quantum-mechanical operators. Math Method Appl Sci. 2020;43(11):6950–67.] is written in terms of fractional operators that we called α \alpha -creation and α \alpha -annihilation operators. It is found that these operators have the following influence on the energy states. For a given order α \alpha , the α \alpha -creation operator promotes the state while the α \alpha -annihilation operator demotes the state. The system is then quantized using these creation and annihilation operators and the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are obtained. The eigenfunctions are expressed in terms of the conformable Hermite functions. The results for the traditional quantum harmonic oscillator are found to be recovered by setting α = 1 \alpha =1 .

Abstract: In this paper, the Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin (WKB) method is extended to be applicable for conformable Hamiltonian systems, where the concept of conformable operator with fractional order [Formula: see text] is involved. The WKB approximation for the [Formula: see text]-wave function is derived for potentials which slowly vary in space. Some illustrative examples to demonstrate the method are presented. The quantities of the conformable form are found to be in exact agreement with the corresponding traditional quantities when [Formula: see text].

Abstract: In this paper, the perturbation theory is extended to be applicable for systems containing conformable derivative of fractional order [Formula: see text]. This is needed as an essential and powerful approximation method for describing systems with conformable differential equations that are difficult to solve analytically. The work here is derived and discussed for the conformable Hamiltonian systems that appears in the conformable quantum mechanics. The required [Formula: see text]-corrections for the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are derived. To demonstrate this extension, three illustrative examples are given, and the standard values obtained by the traditional theory are recovered when [Formula: see text].

Abstract: In this work, the quantisation of particle propagating in a dissipative harmonic medium will be investigated using the creation and annihilation operator formalism, which is more appropriate in some fields of physics. Modelling the problem as damped harmonic oscillator, the equations of motion are then written in terms of Poisson brackets, and the Heisenberg equations are written in terms of the quantum counterpart of the Poisson bracket, known as commutators. The creation and annihilation operators are introduced and used to obtain the energy and eigenstates. Our results are in exact agreement with different quantisation approaches as in Serhan et al, J. Math. Phys. 59, 082105 (2018). The normalisable coherent states are obtained as eigenstates of the annihilation operator, which overcome the non-normalisability of these states that appeared via the dual coordinate method.

Abstract: The metaphorical image represented in the architectural works was subjected to evaluation by different social sectors perceiving them in the society. Despite the diversity in the studies related to metaphorical image. In addition, the special standards forwarded for metaphorical image were dependent on selective formula as they were conjugated with the cultural context to which the critic belongs giving such interpretations. These studies.could not formulate a theoretical framework comprised cultural contexts. Its methodology concentrated ontheconstructionof atheoretical framework, the isolation of the variables related its main aspects, the clarification of its measurements and the performance of a selected field study which includes the main aspects of the evaluation process. This papers aims to determine and describe factors influencing evaluation of the metaphorical image in architecture according to certain architectural patterns to specimen from Iraqi environment. The framework included aspects represented by the metaphorical process, perception and evaluation. Using a special methodology the research hypotheses were checked and the data were processed using the computer software SPSS for statistical analysis.

Abstract: The influence of Cr 3+ ions on the Debye-Waller factor and other related structural parameters of the polycrystalline ZnFe 2-x Cr x O 4 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 2.0) system was characterized at room temperature using the XRD, TEM, SEM and infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy tools. X-ray diffraction results confirm the FCC spinel structure. Values of the lattice constant ‘a’ were found to decrease from 8.4370 A for ZnFe 2 O 4 ferrites to 8.3208 A for ZnCr 2 O 4 chromates. The structure factors for the (hkl) planes were calculated and used to estimate the intensity of the X-ray diffractions and the cation distributions among the tetrahedral and octahedral sites. The Debye-Waller factors were used to estimate the Debye effective temperatures, the mean square displacements and Debye frequencies of these spinels. The FT-IR spectra were characterized by two main absorption bands υ 1 and υ 2 in the frequency range of (400–1000) cm −1 . These bands are caused by stretching vibrations at the tetrahedral (A) and octahedral (B) sites respectively. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) micrographs revealed aggregates of stacked grains.

49. A memory-dependent derivative model for damping in oscillatory systems

Abstract: Classically, damping force is described as a function of velocity in the linear theory of mechanical models. In this work, a memory-dependent derivative model with respect to displacement is proposed to describe damping in various oscillatory systems of complex dissipation mechanisms where memory effects could not be ignored. A memory-dependent derivative is characterized by its time-delay τ and kernel function K( x, t) which can be chosen freely. Thus, it is superior to the fractional derivative in that it provides more access into memory effects and thus better physical meaning. To elucidate this, an equation of motion is proposed based on the prototype mass-spring model. The analytical solution is then attempted by the Laplace transform method. Due to the complexity of finding the inverse Laplace transform, a numerical inversion treatment is carried out using the fixed Talbot method and also compared with the finite difference discretization to validate the method. The calculations show that the response function is sensitive to different choices of τ and K( x, t). It is found that this proposed model supports the existence of memory-dependence in the structure of the material. The interesting case of resonance where the response function is classically increased rapidly is found to be weakened by an appropriate choice of τ and K( x, t).

50. Some exactly solvable $$\mathcal {PT}$$-invariant potentials with real spectra via the (extended) Nikiforov–Uvarov method

Abstract: The (extended) Nikiforov–Uvarov method is employed to find exact solutions of the Schrodinger operator for three $$\mathcal {PT}$$-invariant potentials (periodic exponential, cotangent and $$\mathcal {PT}$$-symmetric harmonic plus centrifugal). It is shown that their corresponding Schrodinger operators can exhibit real energy eigenvalues. The results are compared with similar works but with different methods. The comparisons led to Rodrigues formulas of some functions of interest. The eigenfunctions of these examples are expressed in terms of Hankel functions, Romanovski polynomials and Heun functions. The method is proved to be felicitous and leads to closed energy formulas for the potentials under study.
