We show that a categorical action of shifted 0-affine algebra naturally gives two families of pairs of complementary idempotents in the triangulated monoidal category of triangulated endofunctors for each weight category. Consequently, we obtain two families of pairs of complementary idempotents in the triangulated monoidal category D b Coh (G / P × G / P) . As an application, this provides examples where the projection functors of a semiorthogonal decomposition are kernel functors, and we determine the generators of the component categories in the Grassmannians case. Weighted KLRW algebras are diagram algebras generalizing KLR algebras. This paper undertakes a systematic study of these algebras culminating in the construction of homogeneous affine cellular bases in affine types A and C, which immediately gives cellular bases for the cyclotomic quotients of these algebras. In addition, we construct subdivision homomorphisms that relate weighted KLRW algebras for different quivers. As an application we obtain new results about the (cyclotomic) KLR algebras of affine type, including (re)proving that the cyclotomic KLR algebras of type A e (1) and C e (1) are graded cellular algebras. Unoriented SL(3) foams are two-dimensional CW complexes with generic singularities embedded in 3- and 4-manifolds. They naturally come up in the Kronheimer–Mrowka SO(3) gauge theory for 3-orbifolds and, in the oriented case, in a categorification of the Kuperberg bracket quantum invariant. The present paper studies the more technically complicated case of SL(4) foams. Combinatorial evaluation of unoriented SL(4) foams is defined and state spaces for it are studied. Quasi-BPS categories appear as summands in semiorthogonal decompositions of DT categories for Hilbert schemes of points in the three-dimensional affine space and in the categorical Hall algebra of the two-dimensional affine space. In this paper, we prove several properties of quasi-BPS categories analogous to BPS sheaves in cohomological DT theory.

Constructible sheaves of abelian groups on a stratified space can be equivalently described in terms of representations of the exit-path category. In this work, we provide a similar presentation of the abelian category of perverse sheaves on a stratified surface in terms of representations of the so-called paracyclic category of the surface. The category models a hybrid exit–entrance behaviour with respect to chosen sectors of direction, placing it ‘in between’ exit and entrance path categories. In particular, this perspective yields an intrinsic definition of perverse sheaves as an abelian category without reference to derived categories and t-structures.

This paper develops a concept of 2-categorical algebraic quantum field theories (2AQFTs) that assign locally presentable linear categories to spacetimes. It is proven that ordinary AQFTs embed as a coreflective full 2-subcategory into the 2-category of 2AQFTs. Examples of 2AQFTs that do not come from ordinary AQFTs via this embedding are constructed by a local gauging construction for finite groups, which admits a physical interpretation in terms of orbifold theories. A categorification of Fredenhagen’s universal algebra is developed and also computed for simple examples of 2AQFTs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
