Purpose: This study is a descriptive correlation research to test the mediating effect of spiritual well-being in the relationship between posttraumatic growth and health promotion behaviors of cancer patients. Methods: The data were collected from 145 cancer patients of three hospitals. The instruments were Posttraumatic Growth Inventory, Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile, and Spiritual Well-Being Scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression using Baron and Kenny's steps for mediation. Results: The mean score for posttraumatic growth was 3.57. The mean score was 2.98 for health promotion behaviors. The mean score for spiritual well-being was 2.96. There were significant correlations among the variables, posttraumatic growth, health promotion behaviors, and spiritual well-being. Spiritual well-being was directly affected by posttraumatic growth (Adj R²=25). Health promotion behaviors were directly affected by posttraumatic growth (Adj R²=26). Posttraumatic growth and spiritual well-being affected health promotion behaviors (Adj R²=31). Spiritual well-being had a partial mediating effect (β=.25, p<.001) on the relationship between posttraumatic growth and health promotion behaviors (Sobel test: Z=2.84, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, nursing intervention programs focusing on managing posttraumatic growth and increasing spiritual wellbeing are highly recommended to improve health promotion behaviors in cancer patients. In this study, we looked at whether the character strength of foreign students affects the adaptation of university life and tried to figure out whether cultural adaptation stress has mediating effect. To this end, we set up a research model based on prior research, conducted a survey of 263 foreign students belonging to G City and N City, and analyzed the data using the spss statistics program. As a result of the study, the character strength of foreign students was affecting the adaptation of university life, and the cultural adaptation stress of international students partially mediated the relationship between character strength and university life adaptation. Therefore, it is suggested that it is necessary to develop a program that reduces cultural stress and to have a professional counselor in the university who can continuously consult international students. This study investigates the common perception of the use of preliminary language rehabilitation as a basic study to demonstrate the usefulness of media utilisation in language therapy. Based on the previous research, data were collected for 150 preliminary language rehabilitation workers and 142 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The study found that the perception of media usage in pre-language rehabilitation was necessary for language development and was also positive about the treatment. The use of media has been recognised as helpful in promoting attention, cognitive and creativity development. Also, the use of media as a treatment tool was agreed to, but it was recognized that the rules for utilizing the media were necessary and needed to know the proper site or program. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among multicultural experience, multicultural acceptance, cultural empathy, and empathy in adolescents. Moreover, the study attempted to reveal that how multicultural experience had an effect on empathy and whether multicultural acceptance and cultural empathy had an indirect effect. Based on previous researches, a study model was established. Data were collected and analyzed from 266 adolescents. The results were as follows. There was positive correlation between main variables and adolescents' multicultural experience had an effect on empathy via the path of mediating multicultural acceptance and cultural empathy. Therefore, it was suggested to develop programs which improve multicultural acceptance and cultural empathy. However, they should be offered differentially and implemented sustainedly in stages. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of an integrative art therapy program for marriage migrant women to improve self-efficacy, learn conflict resolution strategies, and establish close family relationship. The participants of the program were limited to marriage migrant women residing in A City who lived in Korea for more than two years. 30 women for the experimental group and 31 women for the control group were randomly sampled. Eight sessions were offered. A pre-test was conducted in the first session and a post-test was done one month after the program was finished. The results of the program suggested that the experimental group had a higher effect on self-efficacy and conflict resolution strategies than the control group. The integrative art therapy program for marriage migrant women conducted in this study aims for marriage migrant women to recover confidence and actively establish happy marital and family relationship by providing an opportunity to make success experience. The purpose of this study was to examine internet addiction and maladaptation among soldiers and to ascertain how family function mediated among army soldiers. A questionnaire survey was conducted with 313 soldiers currently serving military service and was analysed using the structural equation model. The results were summarized as follows: Internet addiction had a direct effect on military adjustment and family function mediated military adjustment. Moreover, internet addiction had an indirect effect through family function, family function had a partial mediate effect on the relationship between internet addiction and military adjustment among army soldiers. This study conducted research on the actual condition of multicultural education in universities and multicultural competence among university students. The overall results are discussed by two sections as follows: The average score of multicultural competence is 3.49, above moderate. The students who rate their multicultural competence high are those who have been abroad, lived in aborad, had foreign friends, or had communicative ability in foreign languages. There were significant differences in multicultural competence among students based on gender and major. Based on the overall results of the study, the several suggestions were made by the researcher as follows: Universities should support students' overseas volunteer program and encourage students to participate in domestic volunteer program for multicultural background groups.
