- Abstract
Objective This was an open-label observational assessment aimed to evaluate whether venetoclax (VEN) plus chemotherapy could enhance the therapeutic benefits for treatment-naive acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with adverse cytogenetic profiles. Methods A total of 38 adult patients (including 11 patients with moderate risk stratification and 27 patients with high risk stratification) who were treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from April 2019 to May 2022 were enrolled in this study. Patients were randomized into two cohorts according to the random number method to receive single intensive chemotherapy (18/38) alone or VEN+intensive chemotherapy (20/38), respectively. The chemotherapy cohort received 2 cycles of induction chemotherapy (idarbicin or daunorubicin plus cytarabine), followed by 6 cycles of consolidation chemotherapy (cytarabine), while the treatment for the VEN + chemotherapy cohort consisted of the same chemotherapy as above plus oral VEN. Heparinized bone marrow samples were obtained from patients at enrollment de novo and post chemotherapy. The expressions of MCL-1 and BCL-2 were detected by Western blot analysis. Results Patients with VEN+chemotherapy showed an objective response rate (ORR) of 90.0% (18/20), compared with 55.6% (10/18, P=0.012) of the chemotherapy group. Meanwhile, the VEN + chemotherapy cohort gained more benefits in progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) than the chemotherapy cohort (mean PFS: 27.1 months versus 17.9 months, P=0.038; mean OS: 32.2 months versus 21.3 months, P=0.004). For patients with moderate risk stratification, there were no differences in the ORR and PFS between the chemotherapy cohort and the VEN + chemotherapy cohort: the ORR was 80.0% (4/5) versus 100% (6/6, P=0.251), and the PFS was 27.9 months versus 32.0 months ( P=0.582). Moreover, the ORR was 85.7% (12/14) for the VEN+chemotherapy cohort and 46.2% (6/13) for the chemotherapy cohort in the high risk profile ( P=0.029). The PFS of the VEN+chemotherapy cohort was superior to the chemotherapy cohort in the high risk profile (mean PFS: 23.7 months versus 11.1 months, P=0.002). Meanwhile, in the chemotherapy cohort, there were no difference in the PFS between FAB-M5 patients and non-FAB-M5 patients; the mean PFS was 20.0 months versus 15.5 months ( P=0.298) for the two groups. Nevertheless, FAB-M5 patients were inferior to non-FAB-M5 patients in PFS in the VEN + chemotherapy arm (mean PFS: 19.6 months versus 30.2 months, P=0.031). The most frequent grade 4 hematological toxicities (therapy related) were leukopenia and thrombopenia. Grade 3/4 hematological adverse events in patients treated with VEN+chemotherapy were not increased compared with those who received chemotherapy. Western blot showed VEN continuously decreased the expression of BCL-2 proteins in both FAB-M5 and non-FAB-M5 patients, but obviously increased the expression of MCL-1 proteins only in FAB-M5 patients. Conclusions VEN combined with intensive chemotherapy have yielded high ORR and survival advantages for de novo AML patients with poor cytogenetics profiles. 10. 半干旱风沙区玉米关键需水期叶气温差变化特征及影响因素.

- Abstract
[Objective] Analyze the characteristics of leaf air temperature difference during the critical water demand period of maize to clarify the main climatic factors affecting maize leaf air temperature in semi-arid sandy areas. [Methods] During maize critical water demand period (July-September), distributed multi-point leaf temperature continuous measurement experiment was carried out in the field in the maize planting area in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The changing characteristics of leaf temperature and leaf air temperature difference indexes during maize critical water demand period were analyzed. The influence degrees of wind speed, air humidity, rainfall, and soil moisture on the leaf air temperature difference were discovered by correlation analysis to reveal the key influencing climatic factors. [Results] As maize grew and the length of drought duration increased, leaf air temperature change during maize critical water demand period gradually became more drastic, daily leaf air temperature difference increased, leaf temperature difference had an overall upward trend. The overall trend of wind speed gradually decreased. The air humidity was consistent with the process of rainfall changes. Soil moisture decreased with the time progress. The effect of wind speed variation on maize leaf air temperature difference was mainly reflected in sunny days. Wind speed variation had negative correlation with maize leaf air temperature and positive correlation of maize leaf temperature. Air humidity was strongly correlated with both leaf air temperature difference and leaf temperature and was not affected by weather conditions. Rainfall made the fluctuation of leaf air temperature difference became smaller and irregular, but the value of leaf air temperature difference became larger. As the 0-80 cm layer soil moisture storage in maize planting plot gradually decreased, the leaf air temperature difference gradually became larger. The impact of climatic factors on maize leaf air temperature difference during maize critical water demand period were wind speed>air humidity >rainfall>soil moisture. [Conclusion] The leaf air temperature difference showed a fluctuating upward trend during the critical water demand period of maize, and was significantly affected by climatic factors. - Abstract
Objective To examine the differences in therapy response and confirm the effective regimen for multiple myeloma (MM) patients with t (11; 14)/CD20- or CD20+, for the selection of transplantation as early treatment. Methods To find the differences in therapy response and to confirm the effective regimen for multiple myeloma (MM) patients with t (11; 14)/CD20- or CD20+, for the selection of transplantation as the early treatment. There were three cytogenetics groups: t(11; 14)/CD20- or CD20+ and low-risk profile including normal or cytogenetics other than t (11; 14). Eligible patients received the bortezomib-based induction and lenalidomide-based consolidation/maintenance regimen. Results Patients with t(11;14) gained adverse therapy response for bortezomib induction regimen than other low-risk arm (OR rate: 11.1% versus 84.0% versus 85.2%, P<0.01). A prospective found that although the patients with t(11;14)/CD20- showed the poor overall response for the bortezomib-based regimen, lenalidomide-based treatment schedule makes them gain a similar therapy advantage comparing with t(11;14)/ CD20+ and other low-risk group in the study The subgroup analyses of progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS) by continued lenalidomide-based consolidation/maintenance treatment also showed a benefit for lenalidomide therapy compared with observation regardless of cytogenetic risk profile and response at baseline (PFS at 4 years reached 75.0% versus 77.1% versus 84.2%, OS at 4 years was 75.0% versus 88.5% versus 90.4%, respectively). Moreover, the lenalidomide regimen little induced the incidence of fatal complications and was tolerated. There were only 3.2%, 8.4% and 15.8% patients had agranulocytosis, peripheral neuropathy and infection of 3-4 grade. Conclusions Lenalidomide regimen is more effective for t (11, 14)/ CD20- risk MM and t(11;14)/CD20+ and other cytogenetically low-risk MM are consistent in PFS and OS. In addition, the initial response rate of MM patients with unsatisfactory bortezomib treatment can also be improved. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Lead titanate (PTO) has attracted much attention due to its excellent ferroelectric, piezoelectric and optical properties. How ever, the effect of B or N doping on electronic structure and optical properties of PTO is still unclear. Herein, it is particularly necessary to accurately predict the properties of PTO via first - principles. Th e influences of B, N doping (B 0, N0 ) and 0 vacancy (V0) on ground state, electronic structure and optical properties of PTO are studied by using generalized gradient approximation by Perdew, Burke, and Emzerh of ( GGA - PEE) and hybrid functional ( HSE06). The results show that PTO in the oxygen - poor is easier to form impurity defects than in the oxygen - rich, and N0 defects are the most difficult to form. The valence band maxi- mum and conduction band minimum move to low energy when B0 and N0 defects exist, and the impurity level appears between them, which improves the conductivity of PTO. B0 - doped PTO is an indirect band gap semiconductor, while N0 - doped PTO is a direct band gapse mi conductor. N0 systems have a maximum absorption peak at a wavelength of about 230 nm, which is mainly due to the electronic transition between 0 2p and Ti 3d. More- over, N0 systems have the strongest absorption ability for vi siblelight, which is expected to improve the photocatalytic ability of PTO. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

【Objective】 The effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium formula fertilization on the photosynthetic characteristics, main characters and quality of medicinal materials of Gentiana rigescens were studied, in order to provide a reference for efficient fertilization to G.rigescens.【Method】 One-year-old seedlings of G.rigescens were taken as experimental materials, in a potted fertilizer experiment abiding with ‘3414’ scheme was conducted. By combining ratios of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers, their growth and photosynthetic physiological indicators were measured under different fertilization treatments (T1-T14), and the optimal ratios of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium application were selected through the membership function method. 【Result】 Significant differences in plant traits and gentiopicroside content were observed among different fertilizer treatments (P < 0.05, the same as below). The T3 treatment (N1P2K2) had the highest net photosynthetic rate Pn), root length, root thickness, root weight, and gentiopicroside content, that respectively were 10.88 μmol/(m²·s), 27.44 cm, 1.89 mm, 1.05 g, and 7.93%.These values were 1.87, 2.07, 1.54, 3.09 and 1.17 times higher than those of the T1 treatment (CK) (N0P0K0), respectively. The comprehensive evaluation of the main characteristics using the membership function method showed that the performance of the T3 treatment was the best of all treatments. The effect size of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium on the Pn, stomatal conductance (Gs) of G.rigescens ranked in the order of K > N > P, and on the intercellular concentration of CO2(Ci) in the order of K > P> N, and on transpiration rate (Tr) in the order of N > P > K. The effects on plant height, stem thickness, stem weight, leaf weight, root length, and root dry weight of G.rigescens ranked in the order of N > K > P, and on leaf length, leaf width, and root thickness in the order of P>N>K. The effects on branching number and gentiopicroside content ranked in the order of K>N>P, and on the number of leaves in the order of K > P > N. 【Conclusion】 All fertilizer treatments beneficial for improving the photosynthetic parameters, agronomic traits, yield, and effective ingredient content of G.rigescens. Based on the results of the membership function analysis, the T3 treatmenth (N1P2K2, N 1.5 g/m², P2O5 3.g/m², K2O 3 g/m²) ould be considered as the optimal formula for potted G.rigescens. The anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 inhibitor venetoclax (Ven) can significantly improve the remission rate and long-term survival of elderly and relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients who are not sensi- tive to intensive chemotherapy. TP53/FLT3 mutation, abnormal energy metabolism of fatty acids and amino acids, high expression of Mcl-1 protein and activation of ferroptosis program occur during clinical treatment are all involved in the development of Ven resistance and leukemia progression. Further exploration of the mechanisms leading to Ven resistance in myeloid leukemia may help to inhibit the development of Ven resistance and continuously improve the long-term survival of leukemia patients. BACKGROUND: With the development of high-throughput technology, non-coding RNAs have gradually attracted attention and are widely involved in the course of various respiratory diseases. The progression of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is accompanied by stem cell abnormality and recent studies have shown that non-coding RNAs are associated with stem cell abnormality, thus affecting the progression of pulmonary fibrosis. Gene therapy that targets non-coding RNAs hints at the possibility of blocking the fibrosis process. OBJECTIVE: To summarize the research progress of non-coding RNAs in stem cell dysfunction and treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. METHODS: English search terms included “IPF, stem cells, miRNA, lncRNA, circRNA, treatment” and Chinese search terms contained “idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, stem cells, miRNA, lncRNA, circRNA, treatment”. Databases including PubMed, Wiley InterScience, CNKI, and Wanfang were used for retrieval, covering articles in the past decade. Screening was performed based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Finally, 82 articles were included for analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) The recent studies on the correlation between non-coding RNAs and the mechanisms of stem cell abnormality in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis were summarized, revealing that miRNAs, lncRNAs, and circRNAs jointly regulate the abnormal activation and differentiation of stem cells, and miRNAs are often the central link of the mechanisms of lncRNAs and circRNAs. (2) Existing trials have confirmed the safety of transplantation therapy to a certain extent, but in terms of efficacy, the diffusion function of patients has only been slightly improved, but the degree of fibrosis has not been significantly alleviated. Most importantly, the trials were non-randomized and lack of placebo controls, so more placebo-controlled randomized trials are needed. (3) The most important advantage of non-coding RNA-targeted gene therapy is that it has the characteristics of multi-gene regulation, which can intervene stem cell abnormalities from the upstream pathways. Based on the breakthroughs made in vivo and in vitro research, non-coding RNAs have been confirmed to be related to the targets of several drugs for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. (4) However, the disadvantages of gene therapy include that it still can only produce short-term effects, and it also faces problems such as effective dose, drug stability, and delivery in the human body. These problems need to be further resolved by future research. (5) In conclusion, although non-coding RNA-targeted therapy is difficult, it can be regarded as a novel way to improve the abnormality of stem cells in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and combining this therapy with stem cell transplantation may achieve better efficacy. OBJECTIVE: To probe into the effects of Qingre Huatan decoction combined with Sangbaipi decoction on pulmonary ventilation function and immune function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) of phlegm-heat stagnation type. METHODS: A total of 92 patients with COPD of phlegm-heat stagnation type admitted into our hospital from Nov. 2019 to Nov. 2020 were prospectively selected to be divided into the control group and the observation group via the random number table, with 46 cases in each group. Both groups were given western medicine treatment. On this basis, the control group was treated with Sangbaipi decoction, while the observation group received Sangbaipi decoction combined with Qingre Huatan decoction. After treatment of 40 d, the clinical symptoms and pulmonary function were compared between two groups. The levels of T lymphocyte subsets, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were measured, and the clinical efficacy was observed. RESULTS: After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of chest tightness, cough and expectoration symptoms decreased significantly in two groups; compared with the control group, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of chest tightness, cough and sputum in the observation group were significantly lower, the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). After treatment, the maximum expiratory flow (MEF), forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) levels of two groups increased significantly; compared with the control group, the levels of MEF, FVC and FEV1 in the observation group were significantly higher, the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). After treatment, the serum levels of CD4+ and CD4+ / CD8+ increased, while the levels of CD8+, TNF-α, TGF-β1 and CRP decreased in two groups; compared with the control group, the serum levels of CD4+ and CD4+ / CD8+ in the observation group were higher, and the levels of CD8+, TNF-α, TGF-β1 and CRP were lower, with statistically significant difference ( P < 0. 05). Compared with the control group (82. 61%, 38/46), the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher (97. 83%, 45/46), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: The clinical efficacy of Qingre Huatan decoction combined with Sangbaipi decoction on the basis of western medicine in the treatment of COPD of phlegm-heat stagnation type is significant, which can reduce the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of patients, effectively inhibit the spread of inflammatory reaction, improve the immune function, and contribute to the recovery of pulmonary ventilation function of patients. Expansins(EXP)is a family of genes that are involved in the whole process of plant development. From seed germination to fruit ripening, there are Expansins involved. Bioinformatics methods were used to identify the members of the Expansin gene family of Physcomitrella patens, and their gene structures, chromosomal locations and phylogenetic relationships were analyzed. The results were as follows: Genome of the P. patens contains 32 Expansin A(EXPA)and 6 Expansin-like A(EXLA), but Expansin-like B(EXLB)and Expansin B(EXPB)were not found. The Expansin amino acid sequence is between 228-290 aa in size, and the encoded protein has two conserved domains, Pollen-allerg-1 and DPBB-1. The results of protein subcellular localization prediction showed that about 4/5 of the EXP family genes in the P. patens were located outside the cell using the CELLO online tool; while the Euk-mPLoc prediction showed that the EXP gene family member was fully localized in extracellular. Gene structure analysis showed that about 68% of the Expansin gene in P. patens contains 1-3 introns. This study analyzed the basic information of the P. patens extended protein gene family, which lays a foundation for further study of the molecular evolution and biological functions of its extended protein genes. - Abstract
To grasp the key influence factors and influence rule during liquid fuel spray impinging combustion and to investigate the strengthening mechanisms of impinging streams on spray combustion, the spray impinging combustion experiment platform was designed and established. The flame shape was recorded by digital camera, and the flame temperature distribution was measured by thermocouple and infrared thermal imager. The images of flame shape and temperature data were analyzed. The results show that when the same amount of fuel is consumed, the opposed nozzle impinging flame is more stable, and the flame temperature is higher with more continuous distribution. With the increasing of gas velocity, the combustion efficiency and the temperature of impinging flame zone are increased with latter stable value. With the decreasing of air/fuel ratio, the combustion efficiency is increased with latter decreasing, while the temperature of impinging flame zone is increased with latter stable value. With the decreasing of nozzle spacing, the combustion efficiency and the temperature of impinging flame zone are increased with latter decreasing. The closer the nozzle angle is to 180°, the higher the combustion efficiency and the flame temperature are, and the more stable the impinging flame zone is. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

44. 某高校4056例教职工骨密度流行病学调查分析.

- Abstract
Objective Bone mineral density and related factors were investigated in staff of a university to provide advice for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Methods Bone mineral density of the right heel was assessed in a total of 4056 staff using Achilles EXP II Document Kit (GE, USA). Age, sex, body weight and waist circumference were recorded, and their relationship with bone mineral status was analyzed using chi square test and Pearson correlation analysis. Results ① With the increase of age, the percentage of staff with normal bone mineral density gradually decreased, and the percentage of staff with osteopenia and osteoporosis gradually increased. The difference was statistically significant (χ2 trend = 745.103, P <0.01). ② In male participants, with the increase of age, the percentage of staff with normal bone mineral density gradually decreased and the percentage of staff with osteopenia and osteoporosis gradually increased. The difference was statistically significant (χ2 trend = 153.129, P <0.01). In female participants, with the increase of age, the percentage of staff with normal bone density gradually decreased and the percentage of staff with osteopenia and osteoporosis gradually increased. The difference was statistically significant (χ2 trend = 720.801, P <0.01). ③ Most staff in the low body weight group were diagnosed with osteopenia. However, in normal body weight group and the overweight group, they were mainly of normal bone mineral density. The difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 23.759, P <0.01). With the increase of body mass, the percentage of staff with normal bone mineral density gradually increased and the percentage of staff with osteopenia and osteoporosis gradually decreased. The difference was significant (χ2 trend = 11.861, P <0.01). ④ After further stratification in those with high BMI, we found that the percentage of staff with normal bone mineral density in the obesity group was lower than that of the overweight group and the rate of staff with osteoporosis was higher than that of the overweight group (χ2 trend = 17.434, P <0.01). ⑤ The greater the waistline, the worse off the bone mineral status (r = -0.072, P <0.01). The difference was statistically significant. Conclusions ① The quality of an individual’s bone is getting worse with increase in age. But even young staff can have an increased risk of osteopenia if they do not pay more attention to their life style. ② As both high body weight and low body weight are risk factors of osteopenia, it is healthier to maintain body weight in a reasonable range. ③ Postmenopausal female staff could reduce the adverse effect low estrogen on bone mineral density through exercise and diet. Tall buildings experience aeroelastic effects under the wind action due to its low natural frequency and structural damping, and significant aerodynamic damping ratio arises. Considering the first order linear sway mode, a single degree-of-freedom aeroelastic model of tall buildings with 2: 1 rectangular cross section was manufactured with a geometrical scale of 1/600,and a series of wind tunnel tests were carried out to measure the acceleration at the building top under ten different wind speeds of each wind attack angle. Random decrement technique (RDT) was adopted to identify the aerodynamic damping ratio of the building model. The aerodynamic clamping ratio in along-wind and across-wind directions obtained agrees well with that from literatures. The results show that the acceleration responses in the strong-axis are obviously larger than those in the weak-axis for tall buildings with 2: 1 rectangular cross section. The along-wind aerodynamic damping ratios in strong and weak axes are both positive. However, obvious negative aerodynamic damping ratio is observed in the direction of structural strong-axis over the non-dimensional critical wind velocity of 5. 5.
