Abstract

To solve the problem of image reconstruction of incomplete projection data from a short-scan cone-beam CT, a novel cone-beam CT short-scan reconstruction algorithm was proposed based on projection-contraction method. Aiming at the non-monotonic convergence of the Gradient-Projection Barzilari-Borwein (GPBB) algorithm, the predictor-corrector feature of projection-contraction method was analyzed and incorporated into compressed sensing image reconstruction algorithm. The objective function descent direction and the projection onto convex sets descent direction were combined to correct the results of GPBB algorithm to improve the non-monotonic convergence of GPBB algorithm. Then, the experiments were conducted on simulated projection data and phantom scanning data. The simulated results for 25 sampling angles show that the signal-to-noise ratios of images reconstructed by PCBB algorithm are 9.4870, 9.8027, 3.6159 db higher than those of images reconstructed by Adaptive Steepest Descent-Projection onto Convex Sets algorithm, projection contraction algorithm and GPBB algorithm, respectively. The simulation results indicate that when a small amount of projections are acquired, the new algorithm has effectively suppressed strip artifacts and the reconstructed images show clear edges. The algorithm can greatly improved the qualify of images reconstructed from few projection data.

Abstract

The relationship between output power and reflectance of the cavity surface was simulated.Simulation results showed that,when the reflectance of cavity surface coatings took the optimum value,the output power of the semiconductor lasers diode reached the maximum.AlN film were deposited on K9 glass substrates by magnetron sputtering using high-purity Al target and N2+Ar.The influence of sputtering conditions,including working pressure,nitrogen concentration,sputtering power on its deposition rate and optical properties has been studied.The optimized AlN coating was used in semiconductor lasers,we found that the COD threshold and the output power have been greatly improved.

Abstract

High brightness fiber coupling laser module with multi-linear-laser-diode-arrays is designed and fabricated.The laser diode chips are fabricated with a broad waveguide and double quantum well structure by molecular beam epitaxy method.The module contains 6 collimated single linear-laser-diode-arrays which can operate to CW 50 W output power with single emission width of 100 μm,pitch of 500 μm,cavity length of 1 200 μm and 19 emitters per bar.Beam output with high beam quality is obtained by space beam combination and beam shaping afterwards,the combined 6-beam output is focused into a 400 μm-core quartz fiber with NA0.22 by a set of flat-convex cylindrical lens.Finally,a maximum fiber end output power of 195 W with power density of 1.55×105 W/cm2 is achieved,and the total coupling efficiency is as high as 65%.
