An infrared image processing hardware platform based on the FPGA is presented for the purpose of displaying the high resolution infrared image with high speed. The whole system was designed by the modularization method, where the non-uniform one point correction for the infrared image of reference source is realized by the FPGA platform firstly. Then, the fast median filtering is adopted to process the image at time domain so that the low-frequency salt and pepper noise is removed. Moreover, the histogram equalization algorithm is used to enhance the image and improve the image contrast. Finally, a PAL analog video interface is designed to real-time display the processing result on the LCD.Through hardware design and testing, the system achieves the goal of real-time processing for infrared images, and the platform can also enhance the image contrast simultaneously. A remote physiological parameter test system is designed based on Wi-Fi and GPRS to give doctor patients’ reliable real-time physiological parameters which may be used as a basis for treatment. The system is composed of the ECG acquisition module, control module, data sending module and display module. The EGG signal is collected by the optical heart rate sensor SFH7050 , read, filtered, operated and further processed through the control chip STM32. Then data are sent to the mobile terminal and related hospital database by the GPRS and Wi-Fi wirelessly. An LCD screen is used as display device in the transmitter side to real-timely display ECG, heart rate, blood oxygen and other data. In addition, based on the Android system a smart phone APP is developed. By a smart terminal accessing to the Internet, doctor can real-timely access to a patient with his/her ECG, heart rate, oxygen saturation, health status physiological parameters. Experimental results show that the designed medical equipment has a good consistency and effectiveness, so has a certain degree of medical application value. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
