Magnetic CuFe2O4 submicrospheres were prepared by solvothermal method， and then modified with triaminopropyltrimethoxysilane （APTMS） as the surface modifier. CuFe2O4@NH2@Pt composites were prepared by in-situ reduction with ethylene glycol after adsorption of Pt4+ ions. The morphology， structure and crystal morphology of the samples are characterized by transmission electron microscopy （TEM）， energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer （EDX）， X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）， X-ray diffraction （XRD）， Ultraviolet visible spectrophotometer（UV-Vis）and vibration sample magnetometer （VSM）. The catalytic activities of organic dye p-nitrophenol and inorganic dye potassium ferrocyanate are investigated as the target pollutants. The results show that the degradation rate of p-nitrophenol is about 99.9% within 6 minutes， and the degradation rate of potassium ferric cyanate is about 97% within 9 minutes.
