BACKGROUND: Nowadays, there are increasing reports on the digitization and visualization system of acupuncture points for adults in traditional Chinese medicine, and the digitization and visualization system of acupuncture points for children in traditional Chinese medicine and the simulation system of acupuncture manipulation for Mongolian medicine training have been reported. However, there are no reports on relevant systems for children in Mongolian medicine. OBJECTIVE: To develop a simulation system of acupuncture points for children in Mongolian medicine, in the hope that it can be used for clinical teaching, manipulation practice and research on acupuncture safety. METHODS: Based on the tomographic anatomical dataset of preschool boys, a three-dimensional (3D) digital virtual anatomical model of children with multiple internal organs and tissues was constructed by using PhotoShop.2021 and Digihuman Reconstruction System software. The relevant annotation information database of 27 acupoints such as Dinghui acupoint of Mongolian medicine was compiled by the Unity database language. The Mongolian gold needle and silver needle were selected to record the acupuncture point teaching video on the 3D printed head and neck resin model of children. In Unity3D software, children’s anatomical model, acupoint annotation information database and acupuncture operation video were integrated and coded, and a 3D digital children’s Mongolian acupuncture acupoint visualization system integrating simulation acupuncture training, clinical teaching and acupuncture safety research was successfully created. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: This study was based on real children’s specimens. In order to reduce the error of two-dimensional segmentation, the manual layer-by-layer segmentation section image method was used to ensure the accuracy of the 3D model to the greatest extent. The Digihuman Reconstruction System was used to extract and save the individual segmentation data while maximizing the accuracy of the 3D model. PhotoShop.2021 software was used to complete the 3D reconstruction of the outer skin of the head and neck of children and the internal bony structure, cervical spinal cord, blood vessels and nerves, muscles and ligaments. After 3D reconstruction, the basic morphology of each independent structure and the integrity of the overall contour were verified in MeshLab software and the final fine adjustment and anatomical position confirmation were conducted using 3-matic research 13.0 software. The real anatomical morphology of the head and neck of preschool children was successfully simulated and restored. Unity3D software was used to integrate the 3D model of children, acupuncture operation video and acupoint annotation database, and the 3D digital Mongolian acupuncture acupoint visualization system for children was successfully constructed. Based on the real continuous fault ultra-thin dataset of preschool boys in China, China’s first 3D digitization and visualization system of acupuncture points in the head and neck of children in Mongolian medicine was developed. Compared with the previous acupuncture soft works, this system is more suitable for the anatomical morphological development characteristics of Asian children, and has a high value of application in the fields of research on the safety of acupuncture in Mongolian medicine, clinical teaching and acupuncture simulation training. This paper summarized the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nursing of a type 1 diabetic patient with diabetic gastroparesis and chronic hepatitis B Virus infection. Based on the comprehensive nursing evaluation and syndrome differentiation, acupoint massage by using the medium-frequency electrical pulse stimulation and comprehensive nursing interventions such as psychological nursing, medication care and dietary guidance were carried out to relieve the symptoms of nausea and vomiting, reduce the pain and improve the recovery of the patient. Aiming at the problems of poor accuracy and narrow applicability of the existing key acupoint mining algorithms, a high specificity acupoint mining algorithm based on a 3‐node motif is proposed by introducing higher‐order interactions between multiple acupoints in the acupoint‐disease network. Comparing this algorithm with five other acupoint importance assessment algorithms in terms of resolution, network loss, and accuracy, the results show that the key acupoints identified by this algorithm have obvious destructive effects on the connectivity of the network, which indicates that the key acupoints are the core of the topology of acupoint‐disease network and have high synergistic co‑operation with other acupoints. The stability of this algorithm ensures the reliability of the key acupoints. From the perspective of the network topology and the high synergy between acupoints, the key acupoints found by the algorithm can be used as the core acupoints in the acupoint network, helping researchers to explore targeted and highly effective combinations of acupoints. In people with cancer, certain chemotherapy drugs can have hiccups as a side effect, seriously affecting the quality of life. According to the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, the chemotherapy-induced hiccup is associated with Zangfu, blood stasis and syndrome of Zhuodu and Huoxie. This paper summarized the etiology, pathogenesis and nursing countermeasures of chemotherapy-induced hiccup, investigate the key issues in Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy by syndrome differentiation, and provided reference for precision treatment and care of patients with chemotherapy-induced hiccup. This paper summarized the nursing measures for a patient with intertrochanteric fracture of the right femur. According to the patient's situation, appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technology such as auricular point sticking, intradermal acupuncture, acupoint sticking were carried out to relieve the postoperative pain and constipation and improve the recovery of the patient. This paper reviewed the cupping therapy and nursing management for a patient of lumbosacral pain caused by sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (SPID). It mainly included the operation method and precautions of cupping therapy, nursing evaluation, condition observation, psychological care, diet guidance and other interventions. Based on acupoint selection by syndrome differentiation, cupping therapy was carried out to relieve the lumbosacral pain caused by SPID. This paper summarized the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing measures for a patient with septic shock complicated with gastrointestinal dysfunction. Based on the symptomatic treatment and TCM syndrome differentiation, a comprehensive nursing including TCM colon instillation, TCM external application, acupoint injection, auricular acupoint pressing, acupuncture were carried out to improve the patient’s gastrointestinal function and quality of life. This paper summarized the nursing management for a patient with periarthritis of the shoulder treated by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ointment rubbing combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine hot pack therapy. Based on the TCM theory, meridians and collaterals points were selected by syndrome differentiation, and composition of Chinese herbal medicine was determined. The TCM ointment rubbing combined with TCM hot pack therapy was carried out, in coordination with life support, functional exercise and extended care, to improve the function of shoulder joint and recovery of the patient. Pelvic inflammatory disease and its sequelae are common and frequently occurring diseases. Retention enema with Traditional Chinese medicine is widely used in the treatment of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease, which can effectively improve clinical symptoms, promote disease recovery and improve patients’ quality of life. This paper reviewed the study about chronic pelvic inflammation in Traditional Chinese Medicine and related treatment and nursing of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease, in order to improve the efficacy of clinical treatment and quality of nursing. This paper summarized the nursing of integrated Traditional Chinese and western medicine for a patient with ankylosing spondylitis(AS) complicated with ecthyma. Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation, TCM-characterized nursing technology such as Chinese Medicine collapse stains, moxibustion, acupoint massage, auricular acupoint sticking and pressing, dietary guidance were used jointly. Implementation of integrative nursing is potentially effective to relieve the pain and improve the ulcer healing. To summarize the therapeutic effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) hot pack technology in treating arthralgia, and summarized related nursing measures. The patient received the TCM hot pack technology on the basis of nursing evaluation and diagnosis. Targeted nursing interventions on activity of daily living, nutrition, psychological health and functional exercise were also carried out to relieve the pain and improve the quality of life. There are a variety of acupoint stimulation method for acupuncture and moxibustion to treat irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS ), involving 58 acupoints, but the main acupoints used have some commonalities. Ten of the most commonly used acupoints are mainly distributed in the dominant area of nerve segments closely related to the colon. The segmental connection between the acupoints and target organs determines the specificity of the acupoint effect. There is a limit to the number of acupoints in a prescription; selection of more acupoints will not necessarily lead to better effects. The acupuncture and moxibustion treatment effect in IBS did not show a significant improvement as the number of acupoints increased, it has little advantages to selected more than 6 acupoints, so the number of main acupoints used for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of IBS can be controlled at 4 ~ 6. The significance of the compatibility of Tianshu(ST25) and Zusanli(ST36) may lie in some complementary effects produced by their different action targets, rather than the enhancement or superposition of the effect on common action targets. This paper summarized the nursing interventions for a child with Tourette's syndrome treated with intradermal acupuncture. Scientific assessment on disease and patient conditions was conducted before treatment. This article summarized the current situation of early treatment and rehabilitation nursing services for urinary incontinence after stroke in China. The main contents of the article included medication treatment and care, rehabilitation training, surgical treatment, Traditional Chinese Medicine intervention, skin care, psychological intervention, health behavior guidance. This paper summarized the nursing experience of a cerebral palsy patient with postoperative urinary retention treated with intradermal acupuncture combined with digital acupoint pressure therapy. Key issues of nursing included daily nursing care, dietary guidance, psychological therapy, health education n operation method and precautions. After stroke, patients are prone to suffer hemiplegia, aphasia, insomnia, depression, constipation and other sequelae, reducing the quality of life of patients. As a traditional external treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine, auricular acupuncture has the advantages of easy access to materials, easy operation, little pain, safety, effective and easy to accept, and has been gradually applied in the treatment of apoplexy sequelae. This paper observed the effect of unblocking stuffy orifice and scraping technique in a child with allergic rhinitis of Qi deficiency of lung and spleen Key issues of nursing assessment, routine nursing, acupoint selection, operation method and precautions of scraping technique were summarized. This article summarized the nursing management for a patient with knee osteoarthritis treated with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) ointment. The Chinese herbal medicine and acupoints were selected by syndrome differentiation. In addition to daily life support, psychological care and health education, TCM ointment external application combined with acupoints massage were carried out to relieve the pain and improve the knee joint function of the patient. This paper observed the effect of Inducing-Yang-to-Yin Tuina therapy for relief of insomnia in a patient with artificial heart implantation, and summarized the experience of tuina therapy, psychological care and basic nursing. Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation, Inducing-Yang-to-Yin tuina therapy is safe, easy to operate and effective for relief of insomnia in a patient with artificial heart implantation. Moxibustion has been widely used in primary dysmenorrhea, and has the advantages of quick effect, obvious pain relief, and few side effects and adverse reactions. This paper reviewed the clinical and experimental research literatures of moxibustion in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, discussed the current research status of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea from the aspects of the law of point selection and the mechanism of action, and explored the clinical efficacy and further practice of moxibustion in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. This paper introduced the current status of clinical application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) collapse therapy in the treatment of hemiplegia after stroke, and summarized the advance of TCM collapse therapy and its clinical application with other TCM techniques. The TCM prescription adopted in collapse therapy remains controversial, and more efforts should be paid to clarify the standard operating procedure of collapse therapy. This article combined the pathogenesis and syndrome types of dysphagia in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) after stroke, and the application of TCM techniques in patients with dysphagia after stroke in recent years. It discussed the methods, effects and potential problems of TCM nursing in alleviating dysphagia after stroke. The promotion and application value of TCM characteristic nursing in post-stroke dysphagia, and proposes the existing problems, aiming to provide reference for exploring the best TCM nursing methods and carrying out related research for patients with stroke dysphagia. Constipation is a common complication after stroke, affecting the quality of life and threatening lives of patients. The Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing has its unique advantages in prevention and treatment of constipation after stroke. This paper summarized the etiology and pathogenesis of constipation after stroke, and discussed the current status and future perspectives of the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques, in order to provide reference for nursing management of patients with constipation after stroke. Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ointment and rubbing technique on motor function in patients with hemiplegia in recovery stage of stroke. Methods Totally 60 patients with hemiplegia in recovery stage of stroke were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group received TCM ointment and rubbing technique on the basis of routine treatment and care; while the control group only received routine treatment and care. After 2 weeks of intervention, the motor function and living ability were assessed and compared between two groups. Results After 2 weeks of intervention, the scores of motor function evaluation scale (MAS) and Barther Index (ADL) increased in both two groups, and scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control groups , with a significant differnce (P＜0. 05) . Conclusion TCM ointment and rubbing technique can promote the recovery of motor function and quality of life in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. (目的 探讨中药膏摩在中风病恢复期偏瘫患者运动功能康复中的应用效果。方法 将60例中风病恢复期偏瘫患者随机分为观察组和对照组, 各30例。对照组给予常规干预, 观察组在对照组基础上实施中药膏摩干预。观察2组干预前后患侧肢体运动功能和生活能力。结果 干预后, 2组运动功能评估量表(MAS)、Barther指数量表(ADL)评分均升高, 且观察组MAS、ADL评分高于对照组评分, 差异具有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。结论 应用中药膏摩方法可以促进中风偏瘫患者运动功能恢复, 提高其生活能力改善, 是有效的中医护理干预措施。)

This article reviewed the treatment effect of Chinese herbal ointment and massage in relief of limb numbness and pain in a patient with diabetes mellitus and arthralgia. Key issues of nursing included dietary guidance, symptom care, exercise intervention and standard procedure for acupoint selection, osmotic medium selection and massage. According to the nursing by syndrome differentiation, the Chinese herbal ointment and massage is effective to relieve the limb symptoms of patients with diabetes mellitus and arthralgia. To observe the effect of holographic scraping therapy in treating one case of type 2 diabetes mellitus of damp-heat accumulating spleen syndrome, and to summarize related nursing measures. The Middle-Jiao area of side-forehead zone and 1/3 Middle-Jiao area of top-forehead zone were scraped with vertical scraping technique; The surface projection areas of abdominal pancreas and spleen body were scraped with side scraping technique; The corresponding projection area of spine, pancreas and spleen on the back were scraped with side scraping technique. In each conditioning cycle, 2 holographic acupoint areas and related meridian acupoints were scraped, twice per week, five times in a cycle. The holographic scraping therapy is effective to lower blood sugar and improve the quality of life in the patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus of damp-heat accumulating spleen syndrome. This paper summarized the nursing experience of cupping therapy along meridian in treating one case of stiff neck. The cupping therapy was carried out along meridian and acupoint which reflects the painful area according the syndrome differentiation. Nurses had enhanced the observation on patient reactions during the cupping treatment. The cupping therapy is an easy-to-operate technique and effective to relieve the stiff neck-assoicated symptoms. This paper summarized the nursing experience of holographic meridian scraping in a patient with refractory hypertension. A comprehensive evaluation based on Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis of face, hand and tongue inspection and scraping should be carried out before implementation of holographic meridian scraping therapy. Therapeutic principles and scraping area should be determined before nursing management based on syndrome differentiation, and a standard scraping procedure is required to control blood pressure and improve the symptoms. Pestle needle therapy as a new type of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the treatment of insomnia, the article reviewed the etiology and pathogenesis of insomnia, dialectical classification, the origin of pestle needle therapy, the mechanism of treating insomnia, the current situation of its application and other aspects. However, its mechanism of action, animal experiments and other issues need to be further research. BACKGROUND: Preliminary studies have found that peripheral facial nerve injury can cause changes in the expression of nerve growth factor, but the mechanism of electroacupuncture in the expression of nerve growth factor is unclear. OBJECTIVE: Based on a model of peripheral facial nerve injury in rabbits, to observe the effects of electroacupuncture on facial paralysis symptoms, morphology of facial nerve nuclei and expression of nerve growth factor and its receptor and to explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture in the treatment of peripheral facial nerve injury. METHODS: Forty-two New Zealand white rabbits (n=66) were randomized into normal group (n=6), model group (n=30) and electroacupuncture group (n=30). A crushing injury model of superior buccal branch of the right facial nerve was established in the latter two groups. There was no deal with normal group. After successful modeling, a needle was imbedded at Hegu in the electroacpuncture group, followed by electric stimulations with dilatational wave at Jiache, Dicang, Sibai, Yangbai, Yifeng, and Quanliao. No treatment was done in the model group. At 28 days of electroacupuncture, morphological changes of facial nerve nuclei were observed using hematoxylin-eosin staining and the expression of nerve growth factor, TrkA and p75NTR in facial nerve nuclei was detected using immunohistochemical staining. The expression of nerve growth factor, TrkA and p75NTR mRNA was detected using fluorescent quantitative PCR. The study protocol was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Southwest Medical University, with an approval No. 20170120001. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Hematoxylin-eosin staining results showed that the morphology of neurons recovered faster and more completely in the electroacupuncture group than the model group after surgery. The results of immunohistochemical staining showed that the average absorbance value of nerve growth factor in the electroacupuncture group was higher than that in the model group at every time point (P < 0.05), and the average absorbance value of TrkA and p75NTR in the electroacupuncture group was higher than that in the model group on the 7th, 14th, and 28th days after surgery (P < 0.05). Fluorescent quantitative PCR results revealed that the relative expression of nerve growth factor and p75NTR mRNA in the electroacupuncture group was higher than that in the model group on the 14th and 28th days after surgery (P < 0.05). The TrkA mRNA expression in the electroacupuncure group was higher than that in the model group on the 7th, 14th, and 28th days after surgery (P < 0.05). To conclude, electroacupuncture can improve the expression of nerve growth factor, TrkA, and p75NTR in facial nerve nuclei, and may promote the binding between nerve growth factor with TrkA and p75NTR, which may be the mechanism by which electroacupuncture promotes the repair of facial nerve injury. The concepts "deqi"(literally, obtaining qi) and "qizhi"(literally, arrival of qi) are not unique to acupuncture, but also relevant in moxibustion. They refer to two characteristic manifestations in the process of moxibustion therapy. "Deqi" is mainly characterized by reddening of local skin accompanied with aching distention and hot pain caused by moxibustion, but these sensations might indicate the arrival of healthy qi or pathogenic qi, and thus may not necessarily suggest the arrival of qi that cures. On the other hand, "qizhi" often involves effective relief of superficial symptoms and improvement of pulse manifestation on the basis of "deqi" clinically. For different patterns, and with different moxibustion methods, acupoints, and supplementation/drainage manipulations, the characteristics and relationships between "deqi" and "qizhi" may vary. Understanding such subtle differences helps practitioners select the appropriate acupoints and methods according to different patterns during clinical moxibustion, and also assess the efficacy of moxibustion. BACKGROUND: Increasing studies have shown that acupuncture has a significant effect on the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury, but there is no uniform acupuncture prescription standard for the treatment of this disease. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the rules of selecting acupoints in the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury with acupuncture and moxibustion. METHODS: Clinical literatures related to acupuncture treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury were retrieved in China Knowledge Network, WanFang Data, VIP database and China Biology Medicine disc from 1989 to January 2020. Then, we established a database to perform descriptive analysis, relevance principle analysis and cluster analysis of the collected acupuncture prescriptions. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: A total of 93 articles were included. Data collection and analysis showed that the acupoints and meridians with the highest frequency of neurogenic bladder after acupuncture treatment of spinal cord injury were Zhongji (CV3) (with the frequency of 55) and Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang (with the frequency of 161). Relevance principle analysis showed that combination of acupoints with strongest support is Guanyuan (CV4) and Zhongji (CV3). Cluster analysis of acupoints with the frequency ≥ 10 showed that acupoints could be divided into two categories. All these findings indicate that when acupuncture and moxibustion is used to treat neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury, most of the acupoints along the meridians and local acupoints are selected. The results of relevance principle analysis and cluster analysis obtained from data mining can be used to select acupoints, match acupoints and reuse specific acupoints to improve the therapeutic efficacy.
