- Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the drug use in patients with depression. METHODS: Through tire hospital information system, the medical records of 3 942 inpatients with depression from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from Sept. 2014 to Dec. 2017 were collected, and the use of antidepressants was statistically analyzed. RESULTS: A total of 8 549 case-times antidepressants were used irr 3 942 patients, the top three drugs ranked by number of cases used were mirtazapine (2 047 case-times, 23.94%), escitalopram (1 339 case-times, 15.66%) and venlafaxine (1 121 case-times, 13.11%); irr 14 00 1 case-times of combined drug use, the top three drugs ranked by number of cases used were lorazepam (1 760 case-times, 12.57%), alprazolam (1 745 case-times, 12.46%) and Buspirone (1 699 case-times, 12.13%). CONCLUSIONS: SSRIs, NaSSA, SNRIs and SMA become the first choice for treatment of depressive disorders, the rate of drug combination of antidepressants and benzodiazepines took the lead.
