Objective The relationship between the estrogen receptor（ER）gene and the incidence of tenosynovitis was studied by analyzing the distribution of the ER genotypes in women with menopause tenosynovitis，menopause healthy women and non menopause healthy women.Methods A total of 111 cases of menopause women in the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Yat⁃sen Universtity were selected from August 2012 to December 2015，which 48 cases were tenosynovitis（group A），63 cases menopause healthy women（group B），and 63 non menopause healthy women as control（group C）.Collected three groups of subjects in the morning，and the distribution of ER genotype was detected by polymerase chain reaction，and correlation analysis was performed.Results There were no significant differences in ER genotype distribution and ER gene polymorphism between group A and group B and C（P>0.05）.Conclusion ER genetic polymorphism in postmenopausal women has no obvious relationship of tenosynovitis. Objective To explore the correlation between estrogen level and femoral neck fractures in elderly women by analyzing the effect of raloxifene adjuvant treatment on femoral neck fractures in elderly women. Methods One hundred and ten elderly women with femoral neck fractures were randomly divided into treatment group and the control group, with 55 cases in each group. Internal fixation was used in both groups. Patients in the control group received oral Caltrate D600 tablets, and patients in the treatment group received oral raloxifene hydrochloride. The treatment lasted for 3 months. Results The pain scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group after 1 week and 3 months of the operation (P < 0. 05). The pain scores were statistically significant within the two groups at different time points (P < 0. 05). BMD of the hip was not different in 1 day postoperatively, but increased significantly in 3 months postoperatively (P < 0. 05). BMD in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0. 05). The fracture healing rates were 58. 2% and 92. 7%, respectively, in the treatment group in 1 month and 3 months postoperatively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0. 05). The excellent rate of Harris score was 96. 4% in the treatment group,and 80. 0% in the control group in 3 months postoperatively (P < 0. 05). Conclusion There is relevance between the decline in estrogen levels and femoral neck fractures in elderly women.
