BACKGROUND: Vertigo is closely related to clinical neurological disorders. When neurons are damaged or dead, it may lead to abnormalities in the vestibular system and trigger vertigo symptoms. Therefore, it is necessary to explore and analyze the hotspots related to vertigo that are common in clinical neurology. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the vertigo-related histopathological changes in clinical neurology and the research hotspots worldwide using bibliometric methods. METHODS: The WanFang database and Web of Science core set database were searched by the first author to retrieve the research-related literature published from 2014-2023 on the treatment of common vertigo in clinical neurology. A bibliometric analysis of the number of publications, country/region, institution, keywords, co-cited literature, and highly cited literature was peformed using VOSviewer_1.6.19 software to summarize the research hotspots in this research field. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Web of Science core set database had the highest number of 174 publications in this field in 2022, and WanFang database had the highest number of 133 publications in this field in 2020. The top 3 countries with the highest number of publications are the United States, Germany, and China. The University of Munich, Germany is the international institution with the highest number of publications in this field, while Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the Chinese institution with the highest number of publications in this field. The results of keyword analysis showed that the research hotspot diseases in this field in China are mainly Meniere’s disease, cervical vertigo, senile vertigo, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, isolated vertigo, and hypertensive vertigo, and the treatments include acupuncture, rehabilitation, medication (gastrodin, Banxia Baizhu Tianma Tang), and manipulative reduction. International research hotspot diseases in this field mainly include benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular disorders in new coronavirus cases, Meniere’s disease, vestibular schwannoma, acoustic neuromas, and vestibular migraines, etc., and the hotspot treatments are antivertiginous medications, antidepressant and anxiolytic treatments, and microsurgery. The results of literature co-citation analysis showed that for acute vestibular syndrome with persistent vertigo as the main symptom, three-step bedside ophthalmoscopy (HINTS: Head-Impact-Nystagmus-Strabismus Test) is more sensitive than early MRI in the diagnosis of combined strokes in patients with acute vestibular syndrome, which is the most peer-recognized method of detecting strokes in vestibular syndrome, whereas hormonal therapy is more effective to treat vestibular neuritis patients with paroxysmal vertigo as the main symptom. The results of highly cited literature analysis showed that, in the hot literature included in WanFang database in the past 10 years, acupuncture at Fengchi point and the acupuncture method of inducing resuscitation to improve posterior circulation ischemic vertigo have achieved certain results. The literature published in the past 3 years has indicated that Ginkgo biloba leaf extract+gastrodin, acupuncture+Banxia Baizhu Tang, betahistine+gastrodin, vestibular rehabilitation training+Epley Maneuver, all can improve the vertigo symptoms to different degrees. While there were no featured anti-vertigo drugs indicated in the literature in the Web of Science core set data in the recent 10 years, and most of them are based on traditional anti-vertigo drugs and microsurgery. However, there are a few case reports in the international literature in the last 3 years that found that COVID-19 infection may lead to vestibular neuritis and vertigo symptoms. The onset and progression of vertigo may be closely related to neuronal damage and regeneration. For example, viral infections, inflammatory stimuli, or other pathologic factors may lead to neuronal damage or death, thereby affecting the function of the vestibular system. Vertigo-related diagnosis and treatment standardization guidelines have been published both domestically and internationally. Currently, international guidelines recommend the combination of vestibular rehabilitation and physical rehabilitation for the treatment of vertigo, and Chinese guidelines recommend the combination of Chinese and Western medicine, reduction and acupuncture. However, the level of evidence is not very high, so a large number of large-sample, multicenter randomized controlled trials on anti-vertigo treatment are needed in the future. Stroke is the leading cause of death and disability in humans. The incidence and mortality of stroke increase with age. With the aggravation of population aging in China, stroke brings heavy burden to patients, families and society. Among all types of stroke, acute ischemic stroke accounts for 70%-80%,and endovascular treatment has become the main treatment for patients with acute ischemic stroke. However, contrast agent extravasation that may occur during treatment has become a common phenomenon. It is very important to clinically identify contrast agent extravasation and predict the effect of extravasation on the clinical prognosis of patients. Rheological behavior can be used to characterize the multilevel composite agglomerates of cultivated soil for perennial sugarcane in South China. The intrinsic parameters, particle size distribution, and cohesive properties of soil were obtained using various physical and mechanical experiments, such as soil density, moisture content, clay particle size gradation screening, angle of repose and triaxial compression. According to the distribution of particle size within the ranges of different tillage depth and the Hertz Mindlin with JKR particle contact model, a systematic simulation was conducted on the angle of repose under clay flow. The contact factors were also screened and calibrated by the Plackett-Burman, the steepest climb and the Box-Behnken test. A multilayer model with nonhomogeneous discrete element was constructed using agglomerate geometric and mechanical properties. The discrete element parameters of heavy clay were used to explore the quantitative agglomerate generation, settling, platen undermining and layered stacking. According to the geometric composition of unsaturated soil particles and parameter assignments, such as JKR, the rheological constitutive behavior of soil was verified using the coupled triaxial compression on RecurDyn-EDEM. The rheological model of cane field tillage was verified to predict the tillage performance, and then to analyze the propulsion resistance of bionic wall plate. The angle of repose and soil triaxial compression showed that the JKR surface energy, coefficient of recovery and kinetic friction factor of the soil were the significant influencing factors on the rheological response of the heavy clay soil, with the contribution rates of 48.24%, 30.09% and 7.80%, respectively. The measured angles of repose of the soil materials in different layers were used as the objective for optimization. The optimal solution of contact parameter was calibrated to evaluate the differences of the parameters among the different layers of the cultivated field. There was the similar between the simulated and experimental stacking shape for the angle of repose using the optimal calibration parameters, where the prediction error of angle was less than 1.67%. The discrete element model was contained the agglomerate gradation distribution, intrinsic contact and cohesive properties. The composite rheological properties of multi-till layers were characterized to obtain the intrinsic response deviation. The triaxial behavioral error was less than 9.27%. The relative error was only 8.3% between the calculated using this model and the measured of propulsion resistance of the bionic wall plate. The error was within the acceptable range, indicating the effective and accurate prediction of the interaction relationship between the machine tool and the soil material. Objective To investigate the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity and antioxidant activity of Periplaneta Americana extract PAS840. Methods Based on the data obtained from the preexperiment, the concentration of AChE was fixed at 0. 425 U/mL, the concentration of Acetylthiocholine iodide (ATCI) was 15 mmol/L, the reaction time was 20 min, and the enzymatic reaction was performed by the modified Ellman method to detect the inhibitory rates of PAS840 at different concentrations (7. 8125，15. 625，31. 25，62. 5，125, and 250 µg/mL) on AChE activity. We calculated its half inhibitory concentration (IC50), and determined the type of inhibition of AChE by PAS840 using enzyme kinetic assay related to Michaelis-Menten equation. Different concentrations of PAS840 solution or Vitamin C (VC) were taken to detect the scavenging rate of 1，1-diphenyl-2-trinitrophenylhydrazine (DPPH) radicals by the DPPH method, the reduction rate of potassium ferricyanide by the total reducing capacity assay, and the scavenging rate of hydroxyl radicals by the salicylic acid method. Results PAS840 had an inhibitory effect on the process of AChE-catalyzed reaction, and its inhibitory effect became more significant with the increase of PAS840 concentrations and time; with the increase of PAS840 concentrations, the inhibition rate of AChE gradually increased and then leveled off. The IC50 of PAS840 to inhibit the decomposition of ATCI catalyzed by AChE was 22. 30 µg/mL, and its inhibitory behavior was a mixed type of inhibition. The scavenging rates of DPPH radicals by PAS840 and Vc showed a trend of increasing and then leveling off with increased concentrations; the scavenging rates of DPPH radicals by 500 µg/mL PAS840 and Vc were 93. 95% and 97. 31% at the same concentration; the IC50 of DPPH radicals scavenging by PAS840 was 43. 21 µg/mL. The reduction rate of potassium ferricyanide by PAS840 showed a trend of increasing and then leveling off as the concentration increased, but the reduction rate of potassium ferricyanide by Vc showed a continued rising trend; the reduction rate of potassium ferricyanide by 3. 0 mg/mL PAS840 was 93. 95% and by Vc was 82. 2% at the same concentration; the IC50 of potassium ferricyanide reduction by PAS840 was 0. 498 mg/mL. With the increase of the concentrations, the scavenging rate of PAS840 on hydroxyl radicals showed a relatively moderate and smooth trend, and the scavenging rate of Vc on Hydroxyl radical showed a gradually increasing trend; the scavenging rate of 1. 8 mg/mL PAS840 on Hydroxyl radical was 45. 72%, and then gradually tended to level off, the scavenging rate of Vc was 74. 06%, and the maximum concentration of the PAS840 for this determination was 3. 0 mg/mL. The scavenging rate of hydroxyl radicals was 47. 83%, the reduction rate of Vc at the same concentration was 89. 73% and the IC50 of the scavenging rate of Hydroxyl radical by PAS840 was 3. 65 mg/mL. This study focused on analyzing and comparing the nutritional and harmful components of Cynanchum auriculatum from five different places of origin, including Binhai in Jiangsu, Dabie Mountain in Anhui, Huanggang in Hubei, Qiandongnan in Guizhou and Xichang in Sichuan. SPSS 25. 0 was used to perform principal component analysis and comprehensive evaluation on the 36 indicator components of Cynanchum auriculatum from these five places of origin. Objective: To evaluate the effect of transitional elastic dentures wearing on social avoidance and distress, anxiety and oral health-related quality of life in patients with anterior teeth loss. Methods: A total of 114 patients with extracted anterior teeth and elective prosthetic treatment were divided into denture group (n=52) and control group (n=52) randomly. Two groups of patients were instructed to complete the Social Avoidance and Distress Scale (SAD), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Oral Health Impact Scale (OHIP-14) at 2 weeks after extraction. The denture group began to wear elastic dentures at 2 weeks after tooth extraction, and the control group only received routine review. The two groups filled in the above 3 scales again at 4 weeks after tooth extraction. Results: There was no significant difference in the scores of SAD, SAS and OHIP-14 between the denture group and the control group at 2 weeks after extraction. The scores of SAD, SAS and OHIP-14 were lower in the denture group than in the control group at 4 weeks after tooth extraction (P ＜0. 05). The difference value of the scores of the 3 scales filled at 2 weeks and 4 weeks after extraction was higher in the denture group than in the control group (P ＜0. 05). Conclusion: It suggests that wearing transitional elastic dentures during prosthetic treatment for patients with anterior teeth loss could effectively improve their oral related quality of life, improve their daily social interaction, and reduce anxiety. Strengthening the integration, sharing and interconnection of digital ancient book resources is a necessary move for the work of ancient books in the new era. The existing centralized solution of integrating ancient book resources caused problems such as high maintenance cost, untimely updating and difficult reuse. Based on the semantic technologies maturely applied in the field of digital humanities, this paper designed a framework for the interconnection of ancient book knowledge bases, from perspective of metadata conversion and publication, image resources interconnection, content resources interconnection, and semantic resources interconnection. Relying on a distributed architecture this framework has achieved decentralized, real-time online interconnection of ancient book resources without changing the structure of existing databases within collection institutions. It can not only be used in the construction of digital infrastructure of ancient books, but also fits the construction needs of the national cultural digitization strategy.
