The experimental teaching center of Remote Sensing Information Engineering, Wuhan University, relies on the national key discipline and the national characteristic specialty, and takes the Excellent Engineer Education Training Flan as an opportunity to carry out the construction of tlie demonstration center. This paper makes a summary of the construction of the experimental center from the following aspects. Fiistly, the teaching reform of experiment center is introduced, including the experiment course system reformation according to the distinctive characteristics, the experiment teaching content reformation based on teaching transformation of scientific research , and the engineering practice education innovation based on teaching transformation of engineering application. Secondly, the team construction of tlie experimental center is introduced, including; excellent part-time staff establishment hy setting " ZhiZhuo" forum, the professional team optimization hy introducing overseas talents, and the double-qualified and three-excellent teaching staff establishment. Finally, the innovation of resource construction and management mode is summarized. Through the reformation and construction, the experimental center of remote sensing and information engineering has been successfully approved as a national level experimental teaching demonstration center.
