本研究は、東洋学園大学の3学部における学生の性格特性をエゴグラム（TEGII）を使ってそれぞれ分類し、差異を把握することを試み、その結果を基にした分析・考察を今後のより効果的な英語プログラムの設計に結びつけることに焦点を当てた。また学部別の分析を目的としているため、あえて学部名を表記している。 分析を通して、人間科学部は学部の特徴が比較的強く出ていることが明らかになった。具体的には、他人に気遣い、No と言えないタイプに分類される学生が4割近くを占めた。グローバル・コミュニケーション学部は他の学部との差異が大きく見られなかったが、他学部には見られなかった特性の学生が一定数存在するという結果が示された。また、現代経営学部の学生は人間科学学部の学生より、論理的思考や理想の追求に関して強い傾向があることが示された。 これらの分析結果と併せて、その他のデータや教員へのヒアリングを用い、各学部における英語プログラム設計への提言を行った。

本研究では、保育者を目指す学生の保育者適性に関与する要因として、性格特性と子ども観との関連を検討した。その結果、性格特性は、自分の考えや価値観を主張するよりも、他者に対してやさしく世話をすることを好み、情緒的であるという傾向が示された。保育者適性においては、共感的に関わることはできるが、論理的に物事を捉え、すぐに行動に移すことは苦手という特徴が認められた。子ども観においては、子どもはそれぞれが個性をもち、かけがえのないものだというポジティブな側面で捉えていることが認められた。また、保育者適性に関連する要因としてNP の特性を示すほど、人との情緒的コミュニケーションが成立しやすくなり、子どもをポジティブな側面で捉えることが保育者適性〈養育性〉因子と関連することが示された。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between the student’s attitude toward active learning and their Big Five personality traits. The participants were 278 undergraduates from Tokyo and surrounding areas, who were asked to answer the questionaries of Japanese Ten Item Personality Inventory and Active Learning Scale. The Results of regression analysis revealed that the “General Factor” of Active Learning Scale was affected by the personality traits of “Extraversion” Agreeableness”, Neuroticism” and “Openness” and that the factor of “Externalization” in Active Learning Scale was affected by the personality traits of “Conscientiousness”, “Openness” and “Extraversion”. These results indicated that the student’s personality traits might make a difference to the educational outcomes based on the practice of active learning.

生死や伝統に関する規範意識や性格傾向（非認知能力）は既婚女性の出生意欲（予定子ども数）にどのように影響するのだろうか？本稿では、25～35歳の既婚女性（子ども数は0～1人）を対象に実施したアンケート調査結果（出産意識調査）をもとに分析を行った。生死に関する規範意識については、安楽死・自殺・中絶・死生観（人間が生死をコントロールすることに対する許容度）に対する意見について聞いた項目を用いた。性格傾向（非認知能力）については自己効力感と満足遅延耐性について聞いた項目を用いた。結果としては、人間は生死に対してコントロールすべきではないと考える人（安楽死・自殺・中絶に反対する人）、伝統や慣習を守ることを重視する人、自己効力感が高い人、満足遅延耐性が高い人は出生意欲が高い傾向があった。

他者の存在は，運動パフォーマンスに対して促進もしくは妨害する要因となることが示されており，普段の練習時における他者の存在もまた，影響を与えている可能性が考えられる。そこで本研究では，チームスポーツであるバスケットボールにおいて，練習時のパフォーマンスに他者の存在が及ぼす影響を明らかにすることを目的とした。大学生バスケットボール経験者101名を対象に，高校時代の練習時における他者の存在の影響について質問紙調査を実施し，パフォーマンスの崩れた程度に応じて2群に分けてt検定を実施した。その結果，性格特性において，パフォーマンスの崩れた程度が多い群（多群）では，神経症傾向と評価懸念（FNE）において得点が高いことが確認され（p＜.01），心理状態において快適度の低下が見られ（p＜.001），“あがり”が生じている可能性が示された。また，多群では，指導者との関係性において得点が低く（p＜.01），具体的な状況に関する記述としても，先生を含む指導者の記述が多く確認された。以上の結果から，練習時における他者の存在も同様に，パフォーマンスに対して促進もしくは妨害する要因となることが示された。また，特に指導者の重要性が示唆され，指導の在り方を見直す必要性が考えられる。性格特性に応じた指導の実施や練習環境の調整によって，効果的な練習に繋がることが期待される。

本研究の第一の目的は、教師を目指す大学生が理想とする教師像とはどのようなものかを明らかにすることであった。理想とする教師像については、ＰＭ理論のＰ機能とＭ機能を用いて測定した。第二の目的は、大学生の性格特性が、理想とする教師像にどのように影響しているのかを明らかにすることであった。性格特性についてはビッグファイブ理論で仮定されている勤勉性、外向性、情緒安定性、協調性、開放性の５要因を測定した。その結果、大学生はＰ機能よりもＭ機能の強い教師になることを理想としていることが認められた。しかし、高校生を調査協力者とした過去の研究では、Ｍ機能よりもＰ機能の強い教師を期待していることが認められている。このように研究間で結果が矛盾している原因として、高校生と大学生の視点の違いが、理想とする教師像の違いを生じたのだと仮定された。また、性格特性と教師像の関係について、外向性、情緒安定性、勤勉性の強い学生は、Ｍ機能だけでなく、Ｐ機能の強い教師を理想とすることが認められた。また、協調性の強い大学生はＭ機能の強い教師になることを期待し、開放性の強い学生はＰ機能の強い教師になることを期待していることが認められた。これらの結果については、学生の持つ性格特性が、教師への異なった価値観をもたらし、その価値観が理想とする教師像に影響したのだと解釈された。

大学6クラスの通年授業において、前期は非操作のグループ編成とし、後期は性格特性および行動特性(以下、行動・性格特性)を測る尺度を活用したグループ編成(59グループ)で授業を行った。後期最終回の授業時にアンケート調査を行い、その回答をデータとして分析した。分析の結果、非操作の前期よりも、操作後の後期のグループ編成のほうが、実際に多様であり、かつ、学生の学習満足度が高かった。しかし、行動・性格特性を測る尺度では能動性が高い学生が、グループ学習では受動的だと記述されたケースが複数あり、その理由を検討しながら、尺度の見直しを行った。

障害のある子どもたちを対象とする特別支援教育において、教師は個に応じた適切な指導 を行うために、子ども一人一人の心理特性を理解して教育に臨む必要がある。聴覚障害児を主な対象とする特別支援学校教諭の教職課程の科目の一つとして、東北福祉大学では「聴覚障害者の心理」を開講している。聴覚障害者の心理として、まず学ばせておきたい事項とし て、①聴覚障害児の性格特性、②社会性の発達、③心理アセスメントの方法、の3点があげられる。そして、それらを踏まえた上で、子どもたちの言語・コミュニケーション環境を適切に整え、情報の保障をし、高い日本語力を育てていくことが、豊かな社会性を身につけさ せるための前提となるということを理解させることが重要である。 Teachers of special schools for children with disability are required the understanding of the personality characteristics of each child to provide an appropriate education. Tohoku Fukushi University has a teacher training program of special school for the deaf. One of the compulsory subjects of the course is' Phycology of the deaf'. I focused on the three points to make the students of the course to understand the psychology of the deaf: (1) personality characteristics of the deaf, (2) development of sociability of the deaf, and (3) psychological assessments for the deaf Moreover, I insisted on the need to understand importance for the children with hearing impairment to gain ability to communicate and to acquire their first language.

本稿では、大学生58 名を対象にジグソー学習法(以下、ジグソー)とLTD 話し合い学習法(以下、LTD)の実験を行い、質問紙調査及びビデオによる観察調査からアクティブラーニング(以下、AL)に向く学生・向かない学生の性格特性及び行動傾向の分析を試みた。分析の結果、向く学生の特徴的な性格特性として①ポジティブ型、②気遣い型、向かない学生の性格特性として③ネガティブ型、④アンビバレント型の4 つのタイプが挙げられた。事前に性格特性の尺度を活用すると、グルーピングや学生に対する視点を持つことに有効であることが示唆された。

コミュニケーション能力の育成につながる看護基礎教育を考える際の基礎的資料を得るため,本研究では看護学生の情動知能の発達と性格因子との関連についての検討を行った。4年生看護大学の学生を対象にEQS(内山ら,2001)および日本語版TenItem PersonalityInventory(TIPI-J;小塩ら,2012)を,1年次と2年次の2回にわたり実施した。その結果,EQSの対人対応領域において1年次から2年次にかけて得点が有意に低下した。EQSの3領域(自己対応領域・対人対応領域・状況対応領域)のいずれにおいても,1年次から2年次にかけて得点が上昇する学生と低下する学生の両方がいることが明らかになった。性格には性別の差異があり,男子学生に比べて女子学生の方が外向性得点が高かった。情動知能と性格因子との関係は,学生の性別および調査年次によって異なった。これらの結果は,発達の個別性に応じたきめ細やかな教育の必要性を示唆する。

本研究の目的は，第一に，教師からの受容と級友からの受容がクラスでの居心地感に与える影響についての発達的変化を検討すること，第二に級友からの受容と教師からの受容に関連する性格特性について発達的な変化を検討することであった。小学校4，5，6年生，中学校1，2，3年生の計1281名を対象に質問紙調査を行ったところ，小学校では男女とも教師受容と級友受容が居心地感に影響を及ぼし，中学校では男女とも級友受容が居心地感に影響していることが示された。教師からの受容，級友からの受容に関連する性格特性については，小学校，中学校のいずれも，協調性が影響していることが示された。一方，中学校では教師受容に知的好奇心は影響していないが，小学校では女子において知的好奇心が教師受容に影響するという結果が得られ，学校種の特徴の違いも示された。さらに，知的好奇心は級友受容だけでなく，小学校男女，中学男子において級友受容にも影響を与えていることが新たに示された。級友受容には，良識性が影響していることが示され，何事にも前向きに取り組んだり，責任をもったりする態度は級友からの受容につながりやすいことが明らかになった。他方，良識性は教師受容には影響しておらず，教師は良識性のある子どもたちを積極的に評価していない，あるいは評価はしているものの子どもたちに伝わっていない可能性が示唆された。

研究成果の概要 (和文) : 本研究は、経営組織における「伸び代ある人材」の個人特性と、そうした人材の成長・活躍を促す組織的条件について探求することを目的とした。43社分の公開文書データならびに16社の人事への聞き取り調査に基づいた伸び代ある人材の個人特性に関する仮説を上場企業392社に対する質問票調査を実行し6つの特性を見出した。同時に、そうした人材の育成前提として、その定着に関連すると思われる組織文化の基本的な14次元を同定し、両者の関連性を検討した。, 研究成果の概要 (英文) : This study aimed to explore the characteristics of personnel with potential and the optimal organizational environment for their development. After exploring the characteristics of high potentials through interviewing members of 16 companies’ HR departments and surveying 43 companies’ documents concerned with the characteristics of potential persons, 6 traits of high potentials were found based on the analysis of quantitative data obtained from 392 Japanese listed companies. The study also revealed the 14 basic dimensions of organizational culture that were believed to relate to personnel retention as a premise for their development.

This study examines the relationship between childhood meal scenes at home that are remembered by university students and their current personality. The meal scenes are analyzed in terms of companions, conversation content, conversation frequency, atmosphere, and consideration of meals. The scale of the conversation content in childhood meal scenes was prepared on the basis of the results of a preliminary survey. The result showed that a relationship was found between personality traits and conversation content such as “discussions about daily event”, conversation frequency, atmosphere, and consideration of meals. As a result of the classification of meal scenes into five types, differences were seen in “Extraversion,” “Openness to experience,” “Agreeableness,” and “Conscientiousness.” These results showed that meal scenes are important not only for the physical but also for psychological aspects of one’s personality.

2007年の社会福祉士及び介護福祉士法の改正では、介護福祉士の定義が見直された。その部分には「心身の状況に応じた介護」とあり、これからは身体状況と心的状況の両方に対応した「その人らしい」生活への支援が求められていると言える。しかし、実際の支援の現場において、介護予防サービスにおける利用者の基本情報に心的状況に関する性格特性は含まれていない。本研究では、軽度認知症高齢者の性格特性と生活内容の関連が示されるならば、支援が必要な高齢者の基本情報の収集時に性格検査は必要であるという仮説を立てた。方法として、在宅の要支援1の軽度認知症高齢者を対象に新性格検査を実施し、性格特性と生活内容や言動との関連を分析した。その結果、5事例を大枠で3つの性格特性に分けることができた。また個々の事例において、先行研究との照合と、「つぶやきの言葉」を裏付けに、「その人らしい」性格特性と生活内容との関連が認められた。

本研究は、精神看護学実習における看護学生の対人ストレスコーピングの特徴を、性格傾向とストレス反応の側面から明らかにすることを目的とした。対象はA看護系大学生57名であり、測定指標は対人ストレスコーピング尺度、Y-G検査、POMS、SOC短縮版尺度、唾液アミラーゼ活性値を用いた。 その結果、情緒不安定・社会不適応傾向はネガティブ関係コーピングとの間で正相関し、解決先送りコーピングとの間では負相関していた。外向性や支配性はポジティブ関係コーピングとの間で正相関していた。唾液アミラーゼ活性およびPOMSにおいてストレスフルな者ほど、有意にネガティブ関係コーピングを選択しており、ストレス対処能力であるSOC得点とネガティブ関係コーピングとの間では、有意な負相関が認められた。 以上の結果から、性格特性が対人ストレスコーピングの選択に影響を与えるとともに、対人ストレス場面におけるストレスの程度がネガティブ関係コーピングの選択に有意に影響することが明らかになった。The purpose of this research was to clarify the feature of student nurse's personal stress coping in the psychiatric nursing practicum from the viewpoints of their character tendencies and stress reactions. Fifty seven students studying at a school of nursing, A university, were investigated, and the interpersonal stress coping scale, the Yatabe-Guilford Personality Inventory, The Profile of Mood States-Brief Form (POMS), the Sense of Coherence (SOC) score short version, and the Salivary Amylase Activity were used as the measure indexes to investigate them. As a result, the tendencies of emotional instability and social maladjustment correlated positively to coping with negative issues, and correlated negatively to coping with issues by putting the problem off. The extroversion and rule correlated to coping with positive issues. The more stressful the students were on the Salivary Amylase Activity and POMS, the more significantly they selected coping with negative issues. Furthermore a significant negative correlation could be seen between SOC score and coping with negative issues. These results clarified that the individual character could influence the selection of their stress coping from the above-mentioned result, and the level of the stress in the personal stress scene influenced the selection of coping with negative issues intentionally.

本研究の目的は、人が生きる上で不可欠な習慣である食を通して培われてきた食生活と、青年期の性格特性との関連の有無を明らかにすることである。栄養学、看護学を学ぶ大学および看護学校の学生を対象とし、性格と行動傾向(35項目の性格特性)、幼少期から現在までの食生活(食習慣、食事内容、食に関係するしつけ、食環境、食に対する考えの5分に分類した)を自記式質問紙法で調査した。その結果、調査した食生活と性格特性の間に関連が認められた。特に、食環境や食に対する考えと多くの性格特性項目との関連が認められたことから、食事の内容だけでなく、食環境や食に対する考えが性格特性と関連の大きいことが明らかとなった。さらに、幼少期の好ましい食生活が外交的な性格と関連していることが示された。以上の結果から、幼少期からの食生活が性格形成に重要であることが示唆された。, The purpose of this study was to clarify whether dietary life developed from childhood relates the personality traits of adolescent female college students . Students studying nutrition science or nursing science at a university or nursing school, respectively, completed a questionnaire on personality traits and habitual activities (35 items), and on dietary life; the section on dietary life was divided into 5 fields (eating habits, contents of meals, upbringing with respect to eating, eating environment and attitudes toward eating). The scores revealed that there was an association between dietary life and personality traits. The results suggested that the 5 fields of dietary life are related to some items of adolescent personality traits. In particular, because eating environment and attitudes toward eating correlated with a large number of items dealing with personality traits, these 2 fields were shown to be shaped as much as, if not more than, contents of meals by adolescent personality traits. In addition, an outgoing personality was observed to be associated with desirable dietary life during childhood. From the result obtained in this study, dietary life from childhood was suggested to play an important role in personality development.

本研究では,空間認知とパーソナリティ変数との関連を調べた研究の実施状況を明らかにするために,過去の文献の数や内容を検討した。文献の検索には,American Psychological Associationが制作するPsycINFOを用いた。空間認知にかかわる6個のキーワード(spatial cognition,cognitive map,spatial ability,wayfinding,navigation,disorientation)とパーソナリティに関する5個のキーワード(personality,style,character,temperament,disposition)を用いて,1806年から2008年までに公刊された英語論文を対象に検索を行った。結果から,パーソナリティ変数と空間認知との関連が認められているものの,そのような研究の数は少なく,科学的知見が十分に蓄積されていないことが明らかになった。, This paper discusses the number of research articles and their contents concerning the existence of individual differences regarding the relationship between spatial cognition and personality. To review the literature related to this subject, the PsycINFO database developed by the American Psychological Association was used. The Keywords chosen to search for relevant articles follow six kyewords concerning spatial cognition: spatial cognition, cognitive map, spatial ability, wayfinding, navigation, and disorientation; and five kyewords pertinent to personality: personality, style, character, temperament, and disposition. The extent of the search included papers in the database published in English from 1906 through 2008. Based on our analysis, it seems evident that personality variables and spatial cognition affect one another. However, because of the limited research studies conducted in this area, further research is needed to evaluate and understand more fully the varying degrees of the relationship between personality and spatial cognition.

The purpose of this study investigated the effect of the bodywork on the mood. The task bodyworks were attention to respiration, performed university female students (n=49) in 13 min. Personality scale and multiple mood state scale were measured. Multiple mood state scale of six factors asked before and after the bodywork. The Score of after the task were significantly increased in the pleasant moods factor, and the uneasiness, hostility, weariness, concentration, tension; score of five moods factor were shown meaningful decreases. Furthermore, subjects were divided into four groups to apersonality trait by cluster analysis and compared score of the moods. As for the changes of mood score, the two groups with the high uneasiness were higher than the two groups with the low uneasiness. Therefore, it was suggested that effects of the bodywork were diferent by the distinction of the personality trait.

糖尿病治療において,体重をコントロールして,肥満を防ぐことは重要な課題の一つである。今回われわれは,対象者38名の2型糖尿病患者を,肥満群(23名)と非肥満群(15名)に分類し,2型糖尿病患者における肥満と性格傾向の関連について予備調査をした。性格傾向の評価には,新版東大式エゴグラム,気分プロフィール検査,糖尿病問題領域質問表を用いた。この結果,肥満群は非肥満群に比して,計画性や客観性が低く,気分の安定性に乏しい傾向が認められた。肥満群の性格傾向からは,糖尿病治療に限らず,日常生活や対人関係においてもストレスを経験しやすいことが考えられた。したがって,肥満を伴う糖尿病患者を援助する医療スタッフは,変化ステージモデルに準拠した対応に加えて,患者がストレスマネジメントを適切に実践できるように,性格傾向にも配慮した介入を行う必要性が示唆された。, In diabetes treatment, it is necessary for patients to control their weight. In this study, we conducted a research on the personality traits of obese patients with type 2 diabetes. The subjects consisted of 38 outpatients, and the following survey instruments were administered : the Tokyo University Egogram (TEG) New Version, the Profile of Mood States (POMS), and the Problem Areas in Diabetes (PAID) scale. Classified into the obesity group were male patients with a body mass index of 25+ as well as a waist circumference of 85 cm +, and female patients with a body mass index of 25+ as well as a waist circumference of 90 cm+. The obesity group comprised 23 patients, while the non-obesity group comprised 15. We analyzed the result of TEG, POMS, and PAID, which indicated that it was difficult for the obesity group to make plans or take an objective view of matters. They also tended to be emotionally less stable. This study suggests that it is important for the medical staff to fully consider the personality traits of obese patients with type 2 diabetes when motivating stress management by the patients themselves., 4, KJ00005389407, P, 原著, Original Paper

本報では,4課題:(1)臨床実習に必要な社会的交流技能の明確化,(2)これを養成する教育プログラムの開発,(3)その効果検討,(4)関連する学生側の適性把握,のうちの第4課題に取り組んだもので,社会的交流技能にOT学生が持ち合わせている性格特性がどのように関与しているのかを検討した.同意の得られたOT学生86名に対し質問紙調査を実施し,主要5因子性格,社会的交流技能に関する尺度への回答を求めた.分析の結果から性格特性の外向性,勤勉性,知性の3因子が社会的交流技能に関与する性格特性要因であることが示された.そして,勤勉性は,社会的交流技能を全般に高める影響が見られ,指導者期待技能に対して特に影響力が顕著である.知性もこの領域の技能を高めるものであった.また,外向性は対象者効果技能を優れたものにする傾向が顕著であることが示され,社会的交流技能にはさまざまな性格特性が関連していることが考察された., This study aims to clarify the fourth topic of the following four subjects: (1) Clarification of the social exchange skill required for clinical fieldwork; (2) development of an educational program to obtain the social exchange skill; (3) examination of the effect of the educational program, and (4) an understanding of related students' aptitude. We investigated the relationship between the social exchange skill and the personality characteristics of occupational therapy (OT) students. A questionnaire regarding big five personality factors and social exchange skill was administered to 86 OT students. In the analytical result of the survey, it was indicated that introversion, diligence and intelligence were the main personality characteristics related to the social exchange skill. Diligence improved the social exchange skill in general. Diligence had a remarkable influence on the ability, which was expected to be obtained by OT students to encourage them to become leaders. Intelligence was also found to improve social exchange skill. Introversion remarkably contributed as well, which had an effect on the OT students to enhance their social exchange skill. Thus, it was observed that various personality characteristics were related to the social exchange skill.

研究1では,大学生を対象としたポジティブライフイベント尺度とネガティブライフイベント尺度を作成した。研究2では,研究1で作成したポジティブライフイベント尺度を用い,ポジティブライフイベントをポジティブなものとして認識するPH群とポジティブライフイベントをポジティブなものとして認識し難いPL群のSDS得点,ストレス反応得点,エゴグラム得点を比較した。また,ネガティブライフイベント尺度を用い,ネガティブライフイベントをネガティブなものとして認識するNH群とネガティブライフイベントをネガティブなものとして認識し難iいNL群のSDS得点,ストレス反応得点,エゴグラム得点を比較した。その結果,ポジティブライフイベントについては,SDS得点,ストレス反応得点がPL群よりもPH群のほうが有意に高かった。また,エゴグラムのNP得点,FC得点がPL群よりもPH群のほうが有意に高かった。, In Study 1, we created a positive life event scale and a negative life event scale for university students. In Study 2, we used the positive life event scale developed in Study 1 to compare SDS scores, stress response scores, and egogram scores between students who perceived positive life events as positive experiences (PH group) and those who had difficulty perceiving positive life events as positive experiences (PL group). In addition, we used the negative life event scale to compare SDS scores, stress response scores, and egogram scores between students who perceived negative life events as negative experiences (NH group) and those who had difficulty perceiving negative life events as negative experiences (NL group). The results showed that for positive life events, SDS scores, stress response scores were significantly higher in the PH group compared to the PL group. And, egogram NP scores, FC scores were significantly higher in the PH group compared to the PL group.

Backgrounds ; Patients who receive orthognathic surgery tend to be involved in unstable psychological situations because of their expected and/or ongoing anxiety for disturbed activity of daily life (e. g. respiration, mastication, and speech), resulting in the anxiety and depression state. It is possible that the psychological situations also affect the incidence of postoperative pain and other problems. Therefore, this study aimed at clinical evaluation of the changes in psychological situation and the factors which contribute to the incidence of physical complaints during the perioperative period in the patients who underwent orthognathic urgery. Methods ; Subjects were 104 healthy male and female patients (male 31, female 73 ; average age 19.8±4.2years old) who expected to receive orthognathic surgery of maxilla and mandible. Psychological status were evaluated by hospital anxiety and epression scale (HADs), State and trait inventory (STAI) and Somatosensory amplification scale (SSAS) at the date before and 10 days after the surgery. Egogram check list (ECL) was also investigated in these patients at the date before surgery and physical omplaints were asked by the questionnaire. Past-history of analgesics and other medicines use in each patient was investigated ccording to the patients' records. Results ; Significant decreases of the score are observed in HADs' anxiety score, STAI's state and trait score, and significant increases of the score are observed in SSAS (Wilcoxon signed rank sum test, p0.05). Moreover, these patients with higher anxiety score tend to have more physical complaints for a long time and to use many medicines after the surgery. Conclusions ; Patients who have higher anxiety score before orthognathic surgery tend to have higher anxiety score and show postoperatively higher incidence of physical complaints and have more chances for claims for medicines. These suggest that preoperative examination of anxiety scale is a critical key for psychological and physical management of patients postoperatively., 口腔外科手術患者の周術期心理状態と身体愁訴の関連性を明らかにすることを目的として、口腔外科手術患者のうち、特に全身麻酔下上下顎外科的顎矯正手術施行患者104例(男性31例、女性73例、平均年齢19.8±4.2歳)を対象として、(1)周術期の心理的因子を評価し、術前の心理的因子が術後の身体愁訴に及ぼす影響について検討を行った。また、各検討結果を元にして、(2)術前の心理的因子によって手術患者の術後身体愁訴の発生を予測することが可能かどうか、さらに(3)術後身体愁訴の発生が予測される手術患者への有効な主治医の対応法についてもあわせて検討を行った。調査方法として、心理テストは、Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADs), State and Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI), Somatosensory amplification scale(SSAS)を用い、性格特性の検査にはEgogram check list(ECL)を用いた。また術後の身体愁訴の評価には、当科作成のアンケート調査と術後の薬剤使用状況を用いた。その結果、周術期の心理テストでは、手術患者は術前に比較的高い不安を有しており、術前後の比較では術前に対して術後は有意に不安得点が低下した。また抑うつの状態は術前後で有意な得点変化は認めず、身体感覚増幅尺度は術前に対して術後有意に増加した。術前の心理状態と術後の身体愁訴の関連性の検討では、術前に高い不安を有する患者は、術後の身体愁訴の発生も有意に高く、そのうち状態不安得点が術後の身体愁訴発生の指標となり得ることが明らかになった。また患者が術前に自覚する「不安が強い」という感情の強さも術後の身体愁訴の発生の指標となりえることが示唆された。術前の不安が強い患者では、術前の主治医による説明に対して理解度が低いことから、術前の患者の不安の十分な把握や術前の十分な説明など、積極的な術前からの不安軽減対策が良好な周術期管理上の一助となり得ることが示唆された。

気管支喘息患者239名を対象に性格特性と対処行動の関連を明らかにするために質問紙調査を行った。その結果、「社会的同調性」性格特性を有している喘息患者は、「喘息である」というストレッサーに対して、積極的に取り組む対処行動を多く用いていた。しかし、日常生活における些細な出来事に対しては、自己を抑制し、積極的に問題に取り組む行動的方略を用いるに至っておらず、対処行動機能の低下状況を作り出していることが示唆された。, To clarify the relationship between the specific character and the coping behavior, 239 patients with bronchial asthma were surveyed using the questionnaire. Asthmatic patients harmonizing with the society were shown to cope with the stressor "bronchial asthma" actively. However, they suppressed themselves to the daily monotonous events and did not cope with the problems actively, indicating the low ability of their coping behavior.

本研究は，韓国の職場でのコミュニケーションにおける呼称選択にどのような規範意識が働いているか，規範意識の形成に個人の属性，対人関係特性，性格特性がどう関係しているかを調査研究したものである。韓国語の呼称体系では，目上の人を名前だけでは呼びにくく，親族名称や地位・役職名で呼びかけるのが一般的である。 本研究では，上司を「姓・姓名+役職名+nim」 と呼ぶことの適切性が高いが，公式の場で上司を「姓名+ssi (氏)」 と呼ぶことにも決して否定的ではないことがわかった。対人関係および性格特性については，条件によって多様な影響関係がみられた。例えば，目上の人に対して「地位・役職名」や「親族名称」を用いることについては，他者に対して気遣いをする人が適切で、あると判断する傾向がみられた。また，日上に対して公式の場で名前を使用することについては，調和性のない傾向の人が適切であると判断していた。しかし，全体的にみると，本研究で採用した対人関係尺度および性格特性尺度は，重回帰分析で職場での呼称使用の適切牲を決める有意な予測変数であっても，その決定係数(W)の値は低かった。このことは，言語的特徴である呼称使用について，これらの変数があくまで間接的な要因であることを示唆している。

本研究の目的は，第一に日本人EFL学習者（高校生）が用いているメタ認知方略と関連諸要因は英語力別により差があるのかどうかを明らかにすることであり，第二に英語力別にみるとメタ認知方略の使用を喚起するのはどの要因であるのかを明らかにすることである。1999年4月に新潟県の公立高校3年生151名を対象に，約15分で集団調査を実施した。その集計結果を基に既にメタ認知方略2因子，学習スタイル2因子，性格特性5因子，動機づけ4因子を抽出した（北條，2000）。ここではさらに回帰分析，分散分析を行い，メタ認知方略と関連諸要因との関連や，英語力別による違いを検討した。その結果，英語力上位群は主に動機づけによりメタ認知方略の使用を喚起されるのに対して，英語力下位群は性格特性によりメタ認知方略使用が喚起されていることが明らかになった。, Little research has been done on the relationship between the meta-cognitive strategies and other factors considering different levels of learners; students with higher English ability and those with poorer ability. The main purpose of this study is to investigate whether any difference can be seen between better learners and poorer learners in the use of meta-cognitive strategies and other factors related to the strategies of Japanese EFL high school students. The second purpose of this study is to compare how each meta-cognitive strategy was evoked by the factor related, such as learning style, personality and motivation. First, data on the factors mentioned above were gathered from one hundred and fifty-one third year high school students in April of 1999 using a questionnaire consisting of forty items total. Secondly, the data were analyzed by factor analysis,extracting 2 factors for meta-cognitive strategies, while 2, 5 and 4 factors were extracted for learning style, personality and motivation respectively. Thirdly, analysis of variance was administered to all the factors extracted above, showing that only one meta-cognitive strategy was used more frequently by better learners, while 3 factors of motivation showed significant difference and tendencies between the two groups. Finally, regression analysis proved that the use of each meta-cognitive strategy was evoked by different factors of learning style, personality and motivation. The use of each meta-cognitive strategy by better learners was mostly related to motivation factors, while the use of the strategies by poorer learners was mostly related to learning styles and personality factors.

Metacognitive strategies are one category of learning strategies. The main purpose of this study is to subcategorize metacognitive learning strategies used by Japanese EFL high school students. The second purpose of the study is to investigate how each subcategory is related with other factors, such as learning style, personality, motivation, and gender. Firstly, data on the factors mentioned above were gathered from one hundred and fifty-one high school students in April of 1999, using a questionnaire consisting of forty items as a total. Secondly, factor analysis extracted 2 factors for metacognitive strategies, while other factors for learning style, personality, and motivation were already extracted in a preceding study by the author (Hojo, 2000). Thirdly, regression analysis was administered, using all the factors mentioned above as well as gender. The results revealed that each subcategory of metacognitive strategies was evoked by motivation factors in particular.

本研究の目的は, EFL (English as a Foreign Language)学習者がLL (Language Laboratory)教室において音変化に焦点を置いた反復練習を個別に行った場合,どの類型の性格特性がリスニング能力の向上に貢献できるのかを実験的に明らかにすることである.被験者は新潟県内の短大の1年生98名であった.実験期間は, 1999年の4月から10月上旬であった.被験者は,アイゼンクによるモーズレイ性格検査によって外向性と内向性の2つの類型群に分けられ,次に神経症的次元を加えて分類される4つの類型群に分けられた.リスニング能力の測定については,JACET Basic Comprehension Test Form AとForm Bの結果をそれぞれ事前テストと事後テストとして採用した.内向性と外向性の類型は,両群ともリスニング能力は伸びたものの類型間の伸びには有意差はみられなかった.また, 4つの類型群の被験者のテスト結果に対する分散分析では,不安定性一外向性と安定性-内向性の2つの類型群において,リスニング能力が有意に向上したことが明らかになった., The purpose of this study is to clarify what group of personality traits contributes most to the development of EFL learners' listening abilities. The subjects were ninety-eight freshmen students at a junior college in Niigata prefecture. In the experiment, in order to improve listening abilities, the subjects practiced repetition drills concentrating on sound changes occurring in rapid colloquial English in the Language Laboratory. The experiment was performed from April to October in 1999. According to the results of the Maudsley Personality Inventory by Eysenck, subjects were divided into two groups, extraverts and introverts, and then four groups that were formed by adding the dimension of neuroticism to the dimension of extraversion - introversion. JACET Basic Comprehension Test Form A and B were used to measure the subjects' listening abilities. The scores of the tests were analyzed by ANOVA. The results of this study indicated that in both groups, the extraverts and the introverts, subjects improved their listening abilities significantly from the pretest to the posttest. There was no significant difference in development of the subjects' listening abilities between the two groups. As for the four groups, the subjects in two of them improved significantly in their listening abilities from the pretest to the posttest: the instability - extroversion group, and the stability - introversion group.

本研究の目的は，日本人EFL学習者（高校生）が用いている語彙学習方略を下位分類し，その上でその下位分類と関連諸要因がどのように関係しているのかを明らかにすることである。調査は新潟県内の公立高校3年生 151名を対象に1999年4月に実施した。データは因子分析，回帰分析により分析した。まず因子分析の結果，語彙学習方略5因子，学習スタイル2因子，性格特性5因子，動機づけ4因子を抽出した。次に回帰分析の結果，語彙学習方略の使用を促すのは，関連諸要因の内容は，語彙学習方略5因子それぞれで異なるが，動機づけと性格特性の諸因子であることが明らかになった。, It has been reported that vocabulary learning and vocabulary learning strategies will be potential areas of study in EFL learning environment. The variables, such as their learning styles, particularly, perceptual ones, personality and motivation were examined. Firstly, data on the factors mentioned above were gathered from three hundred twenty-eight highschool students in July of 1996, using a questionnaire consisting of forty-one items total. Secondly, the data were analyzed by factor analysis, extracting 3 factors for learning strategies, 3 for perceptual learning style pref-erence, 4 for personality, and 4 for motivation. Lastly, regression analysis was performed with these factors, also including the subjects' English test scores of reading and writing as an index of achievement of English. The results revealed that learning strategies were interrelated among these factors in a complicated way.

The findings of foreign studies report a close relationship with other factors, such as learning style, motivation, personality and so on. Though not much research in Japan has been done on this relationship, the author has tried to prepare or validate appropriate questionnaire items for these factors as well as for learning strategies. 日本人EFL学習者のうち中学生が外国語（英語）を学習するときに用いている学習方略とその関連要因として動機づけ，知覚的学習スタイル好性，性格特性を調査するための項目を検討するため，先行研究の結果を参考に，それぞれ27，8，6，14項目，計55項目に関して，1997年3月に中学生59名を対象に調査を実施し，データは因子分析により分析した。その結果，各要因についてそれぞれ4因子，4因子，2因子，3因子を抽出し，それぞれ22，8，6，11項目の計47項目が含まれていた。, In the field of the second language acquisition, learning strategies are reported to be closely related with other factors, such as learning style, motivation, personality and so on. Though not much research has been done on the relationship between learning strategies used by Japanese EFL students and these factors, the author has tried to investigate the relationship as well as to develop appropriate questionnaire items for these factors. However, in order to expand the framework of the studies, younger subjects, such as junior highschool students, must be included in the research studies. To achieve the goal, the preparation of appropriate questionnaire items for the target subjects is necessary. The purpose of this study was to prepare or validate questionnaire items suitable for investigating learning strategies, learning styles, particularly, perceptual ones, and motivation of Japanese EFL junior highschool students. Firstly, data on the factors mentioned above were gathered from fifty-nine junior highschool students in March of 1997, using a trial questionnaire consisting of fifty-five items as a total. Then, the data were analyzed by factor analysis, extracting 4 factors for learning strategies, 4 for motivation, 2 for perceptual learning style preference, and 3 for personality. These factors included 22, 8, 6, 11 items, respectively, totaling 47 items, which must and will be further examined with more subjects, since the number of the subjects of this study was not enough.

学習方略は，他の要因と複雑に関連し合っているといわれている。そのうち本研究では，知覚的学習スタイル好性，動機づけ，性格特性について，将来的に日本人EFL学習者の学習方略とのかかわりを調査するため，この3種類の要因を測定する調査項目を選択することを目的としている。性格特性については，先行研究の結果を参考としたが，知覚的学習スタイル好性と動機づけについては1996年5月に本学1年生52名，50名をそれぞれ対象者として調査を実施し，因子分析により結果を分析した。その結果，知覚的学習スタイル好性について3因子6項目，動機づけについて4因子8項目を抽出した。性格特性については，4因子10項目を採用した。, In the field the second language acquisition, learning strategies have been reported to be closely related with other factors, such as learning style, motivation, personality and so on. However, little research has been done on the relationship between learning strategies used by Japanese EFL students and these factors. In order to investigate the relationship, the development of questionnaire items for these factors was crucial. The purpose of this study was to develop or prepare questionnaire items which were suitable for investigating learning styles, particularly, perceptual ones, and motivation of Japanese EFL students. Firstly, data on perceptual learning style were gathered from fifty-two university freshmen in May of 1996, using a trial questionnaire consisting of twelve items. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, extracting three factors, each of which was comprised of two items respectively. Secondly, data on motivation were collected from fifty university freshmen in May of 1996, using another trial questionnaire, consisting of ten items. The factor analysis was administered to the data. The result of the analysis found four factors, each of which included two items respectively. Lastly, concerning personality items, they were chosen based on the results of previous study, in which the items suitable for Japanese EFL students at the level on junior highschool through junior college were selected through pilot studies. Four factors (ten items) were chosen as personality factors.

幼児期に吃音を主訴に相談に訪れた症例の, 約2年後の経過について検討した。対象は, 某市の相談機関で筆者が担当した症例のうち, アンケートおよび電話による聞き取り調査により経過を確認できた8名である(初診時年齢は2歳1ヶ月から4歳9ヶ月)。吃音の経過・吃音の自覚・性格特性についてretrospectiveな検討を行ない, 以下のような知見が得られた。(1)8症例中6名に症状の軽減・消失がみられた。そのうちの4名は発吃後1年以内に急激な進展がみられたが短期間のうちに軽減, 消失したものである。(2)幼児期においても随伴動作や語の言い換えがみられたことなどから, 従来の一般の認識よりも早い時期から幼児本人の自覚があることが窺われた。(3)吃音の悪化を促進するとされている性格特性, すなわち引っ込み思案・自信の無さ・自己主張の弱さなどの特性が幼児期から顕著にみられる症例があった。, In order to plan an effective early intervention program for young stuttering children, a study was done on the change in speech and personality of eight young disfluent children, aged from 2 ; 1 to 4 ; 9 at the time of the first assessment. The subjects included children whose mothers responded to the follow-up questionnaire two years later and agreed to be interviewed by telephone. The findings were as follows. (1) Remission or disappearance of symptoms was noted in six children. (2) In some cases, where the stuttering signs had a sudden onset and developed into severe and complex state in a short period, remission also occurred in a short time. (3) In some subjects, head/face movements or word substitution, which are considered to be emotional reaction to stuttering, were observed, which led us to believe that some young stutters are conscious of their stuttering. (4) Characteristics, such as withdrawal, feelings of anxiety, decreased assertiveness, and lack of self-confidence, which are usually found to tend to instigate stuttering in adult, were also found among young children who stutter., 国立情報学研究所で電子化

きょうだい関係に関して児童とその保護者を対象として，実態と認識，きょうだい間で形成される性格特性について検討した。その結果，以下の結論を得た。 1．2人きょうだいが大半を占める。 2．理想のきょうだい数は，現状の数プラス1である。 3．きょうだいの意義について，児童は現時点の，保護者は長期的な見方をしている。 4．きょうだいの形態別に性格特性が見られた。
