BACKGROUND: Studies have shown that resveratrol can relieve exercise-induced fatigue and protect the heart, but its action mechanism needs further study. OBJECTIVE: To explore the protective effect and regulatory mechanism of resveratrol on ventricular remodeling in exercise-induced fatigue rats. METHODS: Totally 48 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups, with 12 rats in each group. Rats in the blank control group were fedconventionally. After one week of adaptive training, rats in the exercise-related fatigue group and exercise-related fatigue with resveratrol supplement group were trained by 6-week weight-bearing swimming (5% body mass lead block fixed in the tail, 70%-80% maximal oxygen uptake intensity), 6 days a week, 60 minutes a day. Rats in the resveratrol supplement group and exercise-related fatigue with resveratrol supplement group were given resveratrol (50 mg/kg per day) by gavage one hour after exercise intervention. Blank control group and exercise-related fatigue group were given the same volume of 2% dimethyl sulfoxide, 6 days a week, once a day for 6 weeks. The body mass and heart mass of the rats were measured 24 hours after the last intervention. Plasma creatine kinase isoenzyme, cardiac troponin 1, pyruvate dehydrogenase and uncoupling protein 1 levels in myocardial tissue were determined by ELISA. The mRNA expression levels of ventricular remodeling-related factor Foxp1, transforming growth factor β1 and endothelin 1 were detected by RT-PCR. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared with the blank control group, the body mass of rats decreased and the heart mass increased in the exercise-related fatigue group (P < 0.05). Compared with the exercise-related fatigue group, the body mass and heart mass of the rats reduced in the exercise-related fatigue with resveratrol supplement group (P < 0.05). Compared with the blank control group, the levels of creatine kinase isoenzyme, cardiac troponin 1 and uncoupling protein 1 increased (P < 0.01), and the level of pyruvate dehydrogenase decreased (P < 0.01) in the exercise-related fatigue group. Compared with the exercise-related fatigue group, the levels of creatine kinase isoenzyme, myocardial troponin 1 and uncoupling protein 1 decreased (P < 0.05), and the level of pyruvate dehydrogenase increased (P < 0.05) in the exercise-related fatigue with resveratrol supplement group. Compared with the blank control group, the expression of the Foxp1 gene decreased (P < 0.01), and the expression of transforming growth factor β1 and endothelin 1 gene increased (P < 0.01) in the myocardium of the exercise-related fatigue group. Compared with the exercise-related fatigue group, the expression of the Foxp1 gene in the myocardium of the exercise-related fatigue with resveratrol supplement group increased (P < 0.01), while the expression of the transforming growth factor β1 and endothelin 1 gene decreased (P < 0.05). It is suggested that exercise-induced fatigue can promote myocardial adaptability and cause compensatory hypertrophy. Resveratrol can improve myocardial injury and energy metabolism and delay ventricular energy remodeling in rats. Geo-cultural villages are an innovative model of the geological industry serving rural economic development and conservation of the natural ecological environment. We plan to design popular science research, leisure tourism, and industrial development programs to boost rural economic development by excavating and integrating the connotations of village geological culture, earth science, and cultural resources. After selecting the Shuiquanzi geo-cultural village in the Yanqing District of Beijing as the research object, a land quality survey was conducted to identify the distribution characteristics of soil nutrients, soil environmental quality, and soil rich in trace elements, and a comprehensive assessment was conducted to guide the development and utilization of land resources, agricultural structure layout, and development of characteristic agricultural products in the study area. The results showed that the quality of soil nutrients in the study area was good, the overall quality was above medium, the soil environment quality was of excellent clean grade, the comprehensive quality of soil was mainly good, and some of it can reach high quality; the soil was rich in its characteristic components, and the content of zinc, molybdenum, manganese, and other trace elements was relatively high overall. The study area had excellent soil conditions and was suitable for developing green agriculture, characteristic agriculture, and ecological agriculture. It is suggested to further optimize the agricultural planting structure, explore the integration development mode with basic geological resources and local culture, promote the development of village agricultural economy and eco-tourism, and boost the diversified and high-quality construction of Geo-cultural villages. Geo-cultural Village (Town) refers to relying on the endowment of geological resources, through in-depth exploration of geological science and culture, integrating it with the construction of villages and towns, developing characteristic industries and economy, improving the quality of life and cultural connotation of villages and towns and forming a characteristic villages (towns) suitable for living and working, and it is an innovative model for the transformation and upgrading of geological work under the background of rural revitalization. Donghulin Village, Mentougou District, Beijing is rich in geological resources and has a beautiful ecological environment, and has important cultural resources such as the Donghulin human site. Taking the construction of geo-cultural village carried out in the village as an example, the construction steps such as site selection principle, resource investigation and comprehensive evaluation, overall planning and design, product development and industrial development, construction implementation and promotion are outlined. Deeply excavate the connotation of geological and human resources and conduct comprehensive evaluation, the construction mode of “geology+eco-tourism” has been determined, and the overall functional layout is divided into “one corridor, two belts, three lines and four districts”, planning and construction of a popular science explanation system, promote rural construction and diversified industrial development. This paper summarizes the significance of the Geo-cultural Village to national strategic policies such as rural revitalization and ecological civilization construction, puts forward the three-dimensional construction thinking, and discusses the construction ideas and construction contents of the Geo-cultural Village.
