[Objective] To screen potato varieties with excellent comprehensive characters outstanding processing characteristics and suitable for planting in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, and to provide high-quality materials for breeding and germplasm improvement of new varieties. [Methods] The yield and nutritional quality were evaluated by variance, path, clustering and correlation analysis. [Results] The results of nutritional quality evaluation was as follows: HR066>HR052> YS024 >D034 > LK99 > YS017 > Xisen 3>Yunsha 10>HRO68 >D048 >D037>Jizhangeshu 12 (CKI)>Zhonglu 9>Houshu 1 >HR090 > Langshu 5>Y5008>Shepody (CK2)>YS0OL>HR075>YS022>YSO33; The potato varieties were divided into 3 categories eluster analysis, Category I:YS001, Zhengzhu 9, HR090, Huashu 1, HR068, YS033, HRO75, Langhu 5, Shepody, YS022, LK99 and Yumu 10, which were Frird processing categories. Category II D034, HRO52 and HRO66, which were all powder pressing type Category II D037,D048, YS017, Jirhangshu 12, YS008, Xisen 3, YS024, which wer fresh food types. [Conclusion] Six potato germplasm materials with outstanding processing characteristics were screened not, which were significantly better than Jizhangshu 12 (CKI) and Shepody (CK2). Among them, D034, HRO52 and HR066 were suitable for starch processing, YS017 and D037 were suitable for fresh food, and Yunshu 10 was suitable for frying. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To observe the effects of high-flow nasal cannula ( HFNC) and airway breathing mask unit (ABMU) in patients during rapid sequence endotracheal intubation in an ICU. Methods According to different meas ures of oxygenation, 40 patients were divided into the HFNC group (19 patients) and AMBU group ( 21 patients), and all patients were intravenously injected with propofol for rapid sequence induction while being preoxygenated by HFNC or AMBU correspondingly before the intubation. During intubation, the oxygenation by HFNC in the HFNC group lasted till the end of procedure, while AMBU was removed in the AMBU group to ensure the intubation. Afterwards, we recorded and compared the lowest pulse oximetry ( Sp02) throughout the procedure, the increase of Sp02 during preoxygenation and the decrease of Sp02 in intubation, intubation time, proportions of mask ventilation, incidences of some related complications such as severe hypotension, vomiting and aspiration, ventilator-associated pneumonia and mortality within 28 days in each group. Results The lowest Sp02 was 93% [ 91 %, 96% J, the decrease in Sp02 during intubation was 3% [ 2%, 7% J, and the proportions of mask ventilation was 15. 78% in the HFNC group, while the relative results were 88% [81%, 90% J, 10% [ 8%, 12% J, and 66. 67% in the AMBU group, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0. 05). Whereas there were no statistical difference in the incidences of severe hypotension, vomiting and aspiration, ventilator-associated pneumonia and mortality within 28 days between these two groups (all P > 0. 05), as well as the increase in Sp02 and intubation time (both P > 0. 05). Conclusion We can maintain higher level of oxygenation by HFNC, with less pro portion of mask ventilation and decreased incidences of related complications and mortality within 28 days in comparison with using ABMU. Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFASs), notably perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), contaminate many ground and surface waters and are environmentally persistent. The cost and performance limitations of current PFAS removal technologies motivate efforts to develop adsorbents with high selectivity and affinity. Recently, Chen ’s group at Fudan University reported a fluorous-core nanoparticle-embedded hydrogel (FCH) synthesized by the metal-free tandem photocontrolled radical polymerization under visible-light irradiation. This FCH material exhibits outstanding adsorption performance on PFASs with different electronic characteristics including neutral, anionic, cationic and zwitterionic ones. Moreover, the adsorption performance of the FCH material is barely affected even after more than five adsorption-desorption cycles.
