The methacrylated dextran (Dex-MA) with photo cross-linked property was prepared by grafting glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) onto dextran (Dex) via an ester exchange reaction. Curcumin (Cur) was loaded in the framework of zeolitic imidazolate framework material (ZIF-8) by “one-pot” method, and then the pH-responsive ZIF-8@Cur was synthesized directly. The photo cross-linked hydrogels (Dex-ZC) with good mechanical and antibacterial properties were prepared by introducing ZIF-8@Cur nanase into Dex-MA solution, adding photo initiator I2959 and initiating photo crosslinking through ultraviolet irradiation. The structure and morphology of Dex-MA, ZIF-8@Cur and Dex-ZC were analyzed by nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectrum, ultraviolet absorption spectrum, Fourier infrared spectroscopy, Xray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. The mechanical properties and antibacterial properties of Dex-ZC were studied by tensile test and bacteriostatic ring test. Results showed that the release rate of ZIF-8@Cur was faster in acidic environment, and the cumulative release amount of Cur reached (72.98 ± 0.18)% within 24 h. Dex-ZC hydrogel had compact porous structure and good mechanical properties, which was caused by the addition of ZIF-8@Cur. The bacteriostatic ring test showed that the addition of positive charge ZIF-8@Cur made Dex-ZC hydrogel have excellent antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. aureus. This study provided more possibilities for the development of photo cross-linked hydrogel dressings on wound healing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
