This study aims to explore the mediating effect of mobile phone dependence between“weight anxiety”and depressive symptoms among adolescents, therefore providing a basis for the management and prevention of adolescent mental health. Electronic questionnaires were distributed in 12 schools from November 2021 to March 2022 using the multi ⁃ stage stratified cluster random sampling method. A total of 9 225 adolescents finished the survey, which included a general questionnaire, a“Weight Anxiety”Questionnaire, a Self ⁃ rating Questionnaire for Adolescent Problematic Mobile Phone Use, and the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CE ⁃ D10) . The results showed that“weight anxiety”was positively associated with depressive symptoms (β=0.39, P<0.001) . Mobile phone dependence mediated the relationship between different manifestations of“weight anxiety”and depressive symptoms, with indirect effects of 14.29%, 14.91% and 22.08%, respectively. In conclusion, mobile phone dependence mediates the relationship between“weight anxiety”and depressive symptoms among adolescents. Individuals who are highly concerned about and sensitive to their body weight may contribute more to this indirect effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This is a mixed method study of Asian/Pacificlibrarians career choices related to leadershippositions. The statistical analyses are based ondata from 91 librarians in survey Q1 distributedto 600+ CALA and APALA members. Thecorrelation, prediction of association, cross-tabbing,and ANOVA tests were applied to the survey.The result shows that the leadership position iscorrelated with number of years worked in thelibrary profession, number of publications,number of voluntary job changes, and nationalprofessional association’s involvement. Therewas a suggested correlation between leadershippositions and additional advanced degrees andover half of librarians with a doctoral degree arein chief librarian positions. The study also nullifiesthe hypothesis that achieving leadership position is less likely for first generation immigrants orimmigrants who did not receive k-12 orundergraduate education in the North America.In addition, the differences in professional,community, and political involvement areexamined among professional librarians,supervising librarians and chief librarians.The comments from the quantitative surveyQ1 contain rich data which can’t be interpretedby existing statistical methods. The Q1 commentsbecame the first section of a follow-up qualitativestudy using situation coding and subjectperspective coding method. A separate qualitativesurvey Q2 was sent to 12 Asian/Pacific chieflibrarians only. Eight chief librarians completedQ2 covering biographical information andin-depth questions on perceptions of leadershipachievement gap among Asian/Pacific Americanlibrarians. Comparison of comments of Q1for professional librarians and Q2 for chieflibrarians suggested many similar themesemerged. The triangulation from differentAsian/Pacific librarian population validatedthe finding.

The study first reviews the history of Asian immigrants since 1850s and the significance of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 on current Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders (AAPI) population and demographics in the United States. Then the study summarizes previous research of AAPI librarians and conducts a new survey to inquire the status of AAPI librarians. From 91 completed surveys out of over 600 distributed, the study shows a demographic picture of AAPI librarians and lists factors associated with AAPI librarians’ career choices. In addition, the study compares United States immigration and international student data with MLS conferred by race/ethnicity data in order to predict the future growth of AAPI librarians. The analyses of both data sources show that more international students from Asia are studying in the United States and becoming the United States citizens and residents, but fewer international students and Asian American students, compared with other race/ethnic groups, choose librarianship as a career. 研究急救质量控制小组用于急性心肌梗死患者的护理效果。方法 选取2018年1月 至2020年2月该院收治的急性心肌梗死患者100例作为研究对象,采用随机抽签方式分为对照组和观察组,每 组50例。对照组实施常规护理,观察组成立急救质量控制小组实施护理干预,对比2组患者急救相关操作耗 费时间、住院时间、预后情况及满意度调查情况。结果 与对照组比较,观察组静脉通道开放时间、心肺复苏时 间、气管插管时间、抢救时间及住院时间更短,差异均有统计学意义(P <0.05)。观察组的不良预后发生率为 10.00%,明显低于对照组的36.00%,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。观察组的护理满意度为96.00%,明显高 于对照组的78.00%,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。结论 急救质量控制小组实施护理干预能缩短急性心肌 梗死患者静脉通道开放时间、心肺复苏时间、气管插管时间及抢救时间,使得患者取得良好预后并尽快出院,提 升患者满意度。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To compare the clinical effects of interscalene brachial plexus block and superior trunk block in arthroscopic shoulder surgery with 0.25% ropivacaine. Methods 46 patients undergoing shoulder arthroscopy surgery were included and randomly divided into group ISB (n=23) and group ST (n=23). Patients in group ISB received 10 ml 0.25% ropivacaine on the lateral side of C5 and C6. Patients in group ST were treated with 5 ml 0.25% ropivacaine on both sides of the superior trunk of brachial plexus. The diaphragmatic excursion, Numerical Rating Scale(NRS), duration of the block, handgrip strength were recorded at different time. Results No statistical difference was detected between the two groups in the reduction of diaphragmatic excursion within 30 min after block (P>0.05). Compared with ISB patients, ST patients had significantly less diaphragmatic excursion at 3 h after block（P<0.05). 30 minutes after block, 8.7% patients in ISB group reached complete HDP and 52.2% patients reached partial HDP. At the same time, no complete HDP and 26.1% partial HDP were detected in ST group. 3 hours after block, patients in ST group had lower complete HDP rate (0.0% vs 17.4%) and lower partial HDP rate (39.1% vs 65.2%) than patients in ISB group. At 30 minutes and 3 h after block, the reduction of grip strength in ST group was significantly lower than that in ISB group (P<0.001). ST group had lower NRS than ISB group (P<0.05). The average block time in ISB group (8.3±1.97 )h was significantly lower than that in ST group (10.9±1.26)h (P<0.01). Conclusion Superior trunk block with 10 ml 0.25% ropivacaine is superior compared to interscalene brachial plexus block in occurrence of HDP, decrease of grip strength, postoperative pain and block duration. Using Zn(NO3)2·6H2O and C6 H12 N4 as raw materials, ZnO nanowire arrays with uniform morphology and size were synthesized by conventional two-step hydrothermal method on carbon fiber cloth. Their crystal structure and morphologies were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and their electrochemical performance was tested by constant current charge-discharge test. The results show that these materials have excellent electrochemical performance. After 150 cycles at the current density of 200 mA/ g, the specific capacity of ZnO nanowire arrays is still about 730 mAh / g, and the Coulomb efficiency remains above 95% . At a high rate of 1 200 mA/ g, the chargedischarge capacity of the products is still about 481 mAh / g, showing good cycle stability and reversibility.
