- Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of self-distance training in treatment of insomnia disorder comorbid of anxiety and depressive symptoms.Methods:Totally 171 patients diagnosed with insomnia disorder from January 2020 to May 2021 in Yunnan Mental Hospital January 2020 with varying anxiety and depression were selected and classified as drug treatment group(n=48),self-distance group(n=43),drug combined self-distance group(n=42) and health education control group(n=38).The intervention lasted for 12 weeks.The Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) were used to evaluate emotional state at baseline and 2,4,8 and 12 weeks after the intervention,respectively.The sleep status was evaluated with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale(PSQI).Results:Repeated measure variance analysis showed that the group effect,time effect and group time effect of HAMA,HAMD,SAS,SDS and PSQI scores were statistically significant(Ps <0.001).The scores were lower in the drug combined self-distance group than in the drug treatment group and self-distance group at 8 and 12 weeks after intervention,and lower in the self-distance group than in the control group at 4,8 and 12 weeks after intervention.The scores in drug treatment group,self-distance group and drug combined self-distance group were lower at 4,8 and 12 weeks after intervention than at baseline(Ps <0.05).Conclusion:It suggests that self-distance training has adjuvant therapeutic effects on comorbid anxiety and depression.
