- Abstract
Osteoporosis (OP) is a common clinical skeletal disease. It is characterized by the deterioration of bone mass and the micro-structure of the bone tissue, and the bone stabilization is damaged and the risk of fracture is increased. As a kind of immune cells, T cells are the main participants in bone steady state. With the in-depth understanding of people's connection between bone and immune systems, more and more views believe that T cells play an important role in OP development. T cells through direct contact or side secretion mechanisms with osteo tissue cells to participate in regulating bone stability and closely related to OP. At present, studies have confirmed that Chinese medicine can regulate T cells to reduce bone loss and maintain bone stability, and the effect is obvious in terms of OP. This article uses the correlation between T cells and OP and the use of T cells based on the use of Chinese medicine to prevent and control OP as a review, bringing new opportunities and ways to the treatment of Chinese medicine for OP.
