为了研制具有更高灵敏特性的温度传感器,文章提出利用光子带隙效应,在PCF（光子晶体光纤）中选择性填充热敏液体实现高灵敏温度传感。应用全矢量平面波展开法计算光纤带隙,带隙及其宽度随温度规律性漂移。当在包层空气孔中选择不同位置和结构填充热敏液体时,发现仅填充内层空气孔时,带隙随温度漂移造成的变化率最大。当在包层第一层空气孔中填充热敏液体,晶格周期Λ=9μm,空气填充率分别选取d/Λ=0.9和d/Λ=0.5时,带隙边界波长检测和带隙宽度检测的温度灵敏度分别可达到22.07和7.01nm/℃,具有精确度高和系统结构简单的优点。

在单模光纤中级联两个对称缓锥,中间段去除涂覆层,包层作为传感臂对外界折射率敏感,实验上形成M-Z（马赫-曾德尔）干涉仪。对锥区光场进行分析,当锥腰半径为25!m时,光纤内模场半径达到最大值,约为14.8!m。当锥形光纤锥腰半径为12.5!m、过渡区为5 mm、锥间隔为131 mm时,耦合与合波效果最佳,此时传感臂可检测的酒精浓度范围为0100%,折射率和波长偏移存在很好的线性关系,灵敏度为-120nm/RIU。该传感器具有插入损耗低、性能稳定和抗干扰能力强等优点,可应用于酒厂酒精度检测和水质监测等领域。

为了减小相干瑞利噪声,提出了一种多波长瑞利和布里渊自外差检测布里渊光时域反射系统。分析了相位调制产生多波长探测光的机理及三波长系统的自外差检测原理;搭建单波长和三波长自外差检测布里渊光时域反射系统,获得了沿光纤的自外差信号功率和布里渊频移。实验结果表明,相对于单波长系统,三波长系统有效地减小了相干瑞利噪声引起的功率波动,信噪比提高近4.56dB;布里渊频移波动的均方根误差降低2.2 MHz。

为了更加准确地研究薄包层CLPFG（啁啾长周期光纤光栅）的传输与色散特性,仿真分析了单轴晶体光纤的二、三层介质模型所得纤芯模有效折射率的差别以及中心波长的差别,并基于该差别,采用数值分析的方法研究不同包层半径、包层模序对CLPFG色散性能的影响。结果表明,当单轴晶体光纤包层半径与包层模序较小时,两种光纤介质模型的纤芯模有效折射率有较大差别。对于两种介质模型的光纤光栅,降低包层半径或增大包层模序数都有利于增大色散。文章的分析方法和结论为CLPFG的分析和设计提供了理论依据。

针对非常规油气开采微地震监测检波器高频检测的要求,提出了一种基于弹性薄壁管的FBG（光纤布拉格光栅）高频微地震检波器,理论分析了该检波器的实验模型,并对检波器的幅频特性和加速度灵敏度进行了实验研究。实验结果表明:基于弹性薄壁管的FBG高频微地震检波器的固有频率为1 680 Hz;在501 200 Hz工作频率范围内,加速度与波长有很好的线性关系,线性拟合度为0.998 4,加速度响应灵敏度为4.393 2 pm/G,实验值与理论值的相对误差为0.15%。

采用全矢量有限元法研究了具有中心椭圆缺陷孔的矩形点阵PCF（光子晶体光纤）的双折射特性。结果发现,该新型PCF的双折射特性对波长和光纤的结构参数具有较强的依赖关系,与无中心椭圆缺陷孔的矩形点阵PCF相比,在中心缺陷孔参数bc/Λ=0.075、中心空气孔椭圆率η=2.2、包层结构参数Λ=2.0μm和d/Λ=0.48时,该新型PCF具有更高的双折射。

在忽略FBG（光纤Bragg光栅）非线性效应的情况下,研究了单模光纤非线性效应对FBG FP（法布里-珀罗）腔输出特性的影响,导出了连续波及脉冲激光入射时,FBG FP腔透射率的数学表达式。研究结果表明,连续波入射时,FBG FP腔呈现双稳态输出特性;脉冲激光入射时,FBG FP腔的输出呈现衰荡特性,且出现调制不稳定性。

设计了一种低损耗高非线性的碲化物PCF（光子晶体光纤）。采用分布傅里叶算法求解非线性薛定谔方程,数值模拟了基于PCF的中红外波段SC（超连续谱）的产生与控制。分析了PCF参量及泵浦光源参数对SC的影响,得出SC宽度和平坦度随PCF长度、色散参量以及泵浦脉冲峰值功率、初始宽度的变化规律。仿真结果表明,中心波长为2μm、脉冲峰值功率为20kW、脉冲宽度为100fs的泵浦光在PCF中传输15cm时,SC谱宽可达1 3303 450nm,且具有良好的平坦度。

分析了光纤制造中产生折射率中心凹陷的原因,建立了折射率中心凹陷GIF（渐变折射率光纤）模型,应用射线光学方法得出了光纤传输的时间延迟、自聚焦周期的表达式,数值模拟了中心凹陷GIF的自聚焦周期和时间延迟。仿真结果表明:随着凹陷宽度和凹陷深度的增大,GIF中光束的自聚焦效应变差,时间延迟差增大。

通过数值求解非线性薛定谔方程,研究了三阶色散效应对基孤子脉冲在单模光纤中传输的影响。结果表明,在三阶色散作用下,基孤子脉冲在传输过程中被展宽,峰值能量逐渐减小,脉冲形状发生畸变,脉冲的中心偏向一侧,并形成非对称的拖尾振荡结构;当与二阶色散共同作用时,三阶色散引起的脉冲振荡会变缓。考虑非线性效应后,在一定程度上补偿了由于色散效应导致的峰值功率的减小,同时抑制了非对称拖尾结构的产生。

文章给出并采用了光脉冲特性分析新方法,对10 GHz光脉冲在色散平坦光纤中的线性传输前后的时域波形、相位和时间带宽积等作了深入研究,并与数值计算得到的双曲正割和高斯光脉冲线性传输特性作了比较,对光脉冲的时域波形、啁啾等作出了更准确的判断,进一步证实了光脉冲的二次谐波-频率分辨光学门测量及其分析新方法的可靠性和准确性。

To on-line monitor the temperature distribution of the fiber compounded cable, the spontaneous Bril-louin scattering of single-mode fiber was applied to construct a Brillouin optical time domain refleetometry (BOTDR). With the BOTDR sensing system, the central frequency of every spatial resolution wasabstraeted; then the Brillouin frequency distribution along the sensing fiber was obtained; finally the temperature distribution along the fiber was calculated. Compared to the experimental results of thermo-pairs, the temperature difference was less than 2 °C; but the BOTDR sensing system was a better scheme for temperature monitoring of long-distance compounded cable. 为了研究混合导光双芯PCF（光子晶体光纤）的色散特性和耦合特性,设计了一种基于全内反射和光子带隙效应两种导光机制的混合导光双芯PCF。以耦合模式理论为基础,利用有限元法和平面波展开法分析其有效折射率、耦合长度和色散特性,并对定向耦合器和光波长选择器进行了研究。仿真结果表明,该混合导光双芯PCF具有大负色散特性和良好的耦合特性。研究成果对双芯PCF的耦合特性、传感特性的理论研究及其相关器件的实际应用具有重要的参考价值。

为了满足分布式光纤光栅传感系统和超高速全光通信系统的需求,设计并实现了一种新型的铒铥混合掺杂的光纤超荧光超宽带光源。实验中用980和1 480nm激光二极管泵浦掺铒光纤,产生C+L波段的光;再利用C+L波段光的30%光泵掺铥光纤,产生S波段荧光,剩余70%的C+L波段光与S波段荧光通过耦合器耦合后输出,产生一个超宽带的S+C+L光源。该光源的总输出功率约为36mW（15.6dBm）,带宽从1 460到1 610nm。对光源的带宽和功率等性能指标进行了测试,结果表明,可以满足分布式光纤光栅传感系统和全光通信系统应用的要求。

光子晶体光纤传感器可广泛用于各种动态压力测量中。文章设计了一种动态压力光子晶体光纤传感器,采用差分平衡方法分析了这种传感器的压力作用原理,讨论了这种传感器的输出信号检测方案,结果表明,该传感器对外界压力作用的响应具有周期性,响应周期与外界压力和传感器敏感元件长度相关。
