伴皮质下梗死和白质脑病的常染色体显性遗传性脑动脉病（cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy，CADASIL）是NOTCH3基因突变所致的遗传性脑小血管病，主要病变血管为颅内小动脉，累及大脑皮质和颅内大/中动脉的报道较罕见，目前缺乏特效治疗方法。本文报道1例大脑中动脉急性闭塞成功接受血管内治疗的CADASIL病例，并结合文献进行讨论，旨在引起临床医师对CADASIL可累及大脑皮质和颅内大/中动脉的重视。 Abstract: Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) is a hereditary cerebral small vessel disease caused by mutations in the NOTCH3 gene. The main vascular pathological changes in CADASIL are intracranial small arteries, with rare reports of involvement in the cerebral cortex and intracranial large/middle arteries. There is currently a lack of specific treatment for CADASIL. This paper reported a case of CADASIL patient who successfully received endovascular treatment for acute occlusion of middle cerebral artery, and discussed the literature with the aim of raising clinical awareness of the potential involvement of CADASIL in the cerebral cortex and intracranial large/middle arteries.

This paper summarized the nursing measures for a peritoneal dialysis patient with severe edema complicated with heart failure. The integrated treatment of nephropathy was used to relieve the fluid overload. Comprehensive nursing interventions such as dietary guidance, enhancing the patient’s awareness and practice of peritoneal dialysis were carried out. In addition, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing technology including TCM enema, Chinese herbal medicine penetration, five-element music therapy were performed to improve the recovery of the patient. AIM: To establish a mouse model of Alzheimer disease （AD） by injecting amyloid β-peptide 42 （Aβ42） oligomers into the bilateral thalamus. METHODS: Male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into sham group, vehicle group and Aβ group with 40 mice in each group. The Aβ42 oligomers were injected into bilateral thalamus by a stereotaxic technique in Aβ group. At 3, 7, 14 and 28 d after the operation, neurological function was tested by the Morris water maze experiment. Immunohistochemistry and Western blot were used to detect the protein levels of neuronal nuclear antigen （NeuN）, glial fibrillary acidic protein （GFAP）, ionized calcium binding adapter molecule 1 （Iba1） and p-tau （Ser396） in the thalamus. RESULTS: Compared with sham group and vehicle group, the average escape latency was significantly longer, the times of crossing the original platform and the time of swimming in the quadrant were significantly reduced in the Aβ group （P<0. 05）, and the levels of GFAP, Iba1 and p-tau （Ser396） in Aβ group were significantly increased, but the expression of NeuN was significantly decreased （P<0. 05）. Nitrite anaerobic oxidation of methane (Nitrite-dependent anaerobic methane oxidation N-DAMO) is a microbial reaction process in which nitrite is used as electron acceptor to oxidize methane to carbon dioxide. As one of the key ways of greenhouse gas methane consumption, N-DAMO reaction plays a vital role in reducing methane emissions and alleviating greenhouse effect. Based on this, this paper summarized the classification and action mechanism of N-DAMO bacteria, and analyzed the distribution characteristics of N-DAMO bacteria in many kinds of natural habitats. N-DAMO bacteria were not only widely distributed in common natural environments (such as rice fields, wetlands, oceans and lakes), but also in some special habitats (such as intertidal zones, salt lakes, plateaus and desert lakes). The influencing factors in the process of enrichment and culture of N-DAMO bacteria were summarized, including temperature, methane concentration and substrate concentration. Moreover, sludge discharge can effectively increase the nitrogen removal rate of the reactor, enhance the relative abundance of N-DAMO bacteria, and promote the growth of functional microorganisms. The aim of this experiment is to investigate the composition and relative abundance of microbial species in the gastrointestinal tract of beef cattle associated with different residual feed intake (RFI), and the functional annotation and enrichment characteristics of microbial genes. Thirty cattle were selected for the 81-day feeding experiment, and at the end of the experiment, five individuals each with extreme RFI were selected for slaughter, and rumen fluid and intestinal end fecal samples were collected for macrogenome sequencing. The results showed that a total of 259 045.47 Mb valid data were obtained, 4 318 393 Scaftigs were assembled, and 7 008 053 open reading frames (ORFs) were obtained from gene prediction. Species annotation revealed no difference in the relative abundance of Top 10 species in the fecal samples between High Residual Feed Intake (HRFI) and Low Residual Feed Intake (LRFI) groups (P>0.05), and the relative abundance of Top 10 microorganisms in the rumen fluid in the LRFI group was lower than in the HRFI group; the dominant phylum in both feces and rumen fluid was the phylum Bacillus and the thick-walled phylum; the dominant genus in the feces was Bacteroides and the dominant genus in the rumen fluid was Prevotella. LefSe analysis showed a significant enrichment of Erysipelotrichia in the feces in the LRFI group (P<0.05), the most significant difference in rumen fluid was in the Methanobacterium class, and the relative abundance of this organism in the HRFI group was significantly higher than in the LRFI group (P<0.05). Functional annotation analysis using the KEGG, eggNOG and CAZy databases showed that the abundances of some functional genes of microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract was associated with the grouping of RFI. In conclusion, the microbial structures in the rumen fluid and feces of beef cattle with different RFI varied significantly, and the Erysipelotrichia and Methanobacterium phyla may be among the potential biomarkers for differentiating feed efficiency in beef cattle. BACKGROUND: There are few studies on myeloid-derived growth factor (MYDGF) and atherosclerosis and metabolic diseases. Therefore, a mouse model of bone marrow specific MYDGF deficiency with apolipoprotein E (ApoE) knockout is particularly important for studying the relationship between MYDGF and atherosclerotic diseases. OBJECTIVE: To establish and identify the mouse model of bone marrow specific MYDGF deficiency with ApoE knockout. METHODS: ApoEflox/flox mice and bone marrow specific MYDGFflox/flox mice were purchased from the Shanghai Model Organisms Centre, Inc (Shanghai, China). Five ApoEflox/flox male mice were selected to mate with 10 MYDGFflox/fiox female mice, and 30 F1 progeny mice with genotype of MYDGFflox/+ApoEflox/+ were obtained and mated with each other. Finally 30 mice with genotypes of MYDGFflox/floxApoEflox/flox and 34 ApoEflox/flox progenies were obtained. The MYDGFflox and ApoEflox genotypes were identified by PCR, and the body length and body mass of MYDGFflox/floxApoEflox/flox mice and ApoEflox/flox mice at 2 months were recorded. The expression of MYDGF protein in the mouse bone marrow tissues was detected by western blot assay, and immunofluorescence was used to detect the expression of MYDGF in the mouse bone marrow cells. The plaque area of the thoracic aorta in the mouse was detected by oil red O staining. The study was approved by the Animal Ethic Committee of PLA General Hospital of Central Theater Command. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: There were 34 ApoEflox/flox mice and 30 MYDGFflox/floxApoEflox/flox mice, with no significant difference in their body length and body mass (both P > 0.05). The relative expression level of MYDGF protein in the bone marrow of MYDGFflox/floxApoEflox/flox mice was significantly lower than that of ApoEflox/flox mice (P < 0.05). The percentage of plaque area in the thoracic aorta of MYDGFflox/floxApoEflox/flox mice was significantly higher than that of ApoEflox/flox mice (P < 0.05). Therefore, MYDGF gene was successfully knocked out in ApoEflox/flox mice, and the homozygous mouse model of bone marrow knockout MYDGF gene in ApoE knockout mice was successfully constructed and identified by genotype and protein tissue levels. [Objective] The present paper aimed to explore the polymmphism of IGF2 exon 2 polymorphism with Qinchuan cattle, Simmental cattle, Angus cattle and Xinjiang brown cattle population and its correlation with growth traits, so as to provide basis for genetic improvement of beef cattle. [Method] The polymorphism of IGF2 gene exon 2 was analyzed by PCR-RFLPs in 91 beef cattles of four breeds including Qinchuan cattle, and the association between IGF2 genotype and growth traits was analyzed. [Result ] The polymorphism in exon 2 of IGF2 gene was in Hardy Weinberg equilibrium(P > 0. 05), and belonged to moderate polymorphism(0. 25 0. OS). Correlation analysis between polymorphism of IGF2 gene exon 2 and growth performance of Qinchuan cattle at different months of age showed that body length of AA and AB individuals at 12 months of age was significantly higher than that of BB individuals (P < 0. 05), and there was no significant difference in other months of age (P <0. OS); Chest circumference of AA and AB individuals at 12 and 18 months of age was significantly better than that of BB individuals(P < 0. To understand the nutritional status of long-term hospitalized elderly patients with mental diseases and its correlation with cognitive function, so as to provide guidance for clinical practice. 123 elderly patients with mental diseases who were hospitalized for 3 months or more were assessed for cognitive function by mini-mental state examination scale (MMSE), the nutritional status was assessed by short-form mini nutritional assessment (MNA-SF), general data and related nutritional biochemical indexes were collected, and Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between MNA-SF score and MMSE score. Among the 123 patients, 67 cases (54.47%) were at risk of malnutrition, 37 cases (30.08%) were malnourished, and 19 cases (15.44%) were normal nutritionist. The incidence of malnutrition in patients with cognitive impairment was significantly higher than that in patients without cognitive impairment (P<0.05). The incidence of malnutrition in patients with severe cognitive impairment was significantly higher than that in patients with mild and moderate cognitive impairment (P<0.05). Compared with those without cognitive impairment, the MNA-SF score of patients with moderate and severe cognitive impairment decreased significantly (P<0.05). Compared with mild and moderate cognitive impairment, the MNA-SF score of severe cognitive impairment was significantly lower (P<0.05). The scores of 6 cognitive domains and total cognitive scores of MMSE in malnutrition patients were significantly lower than those in malnutrition risk/normal patients (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between MNA-SF score and MMSE score (r=0.486, P=0.023<0.05). The incidence of malnutrition in long-term hospitalized elderly patients with mental diseases is high, which is closely related to cognitive function. BACKGROUND: There are few studies on DEPTOR and vascular diseases, and no studies have been found in animals. Therefore, the establishment of a new mouse model of vascular endothelial specific knockout DEPTOR is important for studying the relationship between DEPTOR and vascular diseases. OBJECTIVE: To establish and identify a mouse model of vascular endothelial cell knockout DEPTOR gene. METHODS: Cre mice and DEPTORflox/+ mice were purchased from the Jackson Laboratory, and C57 mice were provided by Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The study was approved by the Animal Ethic Committee of General Hospital of Middle Theater Command of Chinese PLA, approval number: 20120034. Five DEPTORflox/+male mice were selected to mate with 10 DEPTORflox/+ female mice, and 35 F1 progeny mice with genotype of EPTORflox/flox and DEPTORflox/+ were obtained and mated with 8 vascular endothelial cells specifically expressing Tek recombinase Cre mice. Finally 65 mice with genotypes of Tek-Cre+ x DEPTORflox/flox and DEPTORflox/flox progeny were obtained. The DEPTORflox and Cre genotypes were identified by PCR, and the body length and body mass of Tek-Cre+ x DEPTORflox/flox mice and DEPTORflox/flox mice at 2 months were recorded. The expression of DEPTOR protein in the mouse liver tissues was detected by western blot assay, and immunofluorescence was used to detect the expression of DEPTOR in the mouse vascular endothelial cells. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) There were 25 Tek-Cre+ x DEPTORflox/flox mice and 40 DEPTORflox/flox mice, with the body length of (18.61±1.14) and (18.65±1.40) cm, respectively, and body mass of (25.84±1.99) and (25.06±2.15) g, respectively (both P > 0.05). (2) The relative expression level of DEPTOR protein in the Tek-Cre+ x DEPTORflox/flox mice and DEPTORflox/flox mice was 0.28±0.02 and 0.82±0.04, respectively (P < 0.05). (3) The number of DEPTOR-positive cell in vascular endothelial cells was 73.67±2.87 and 10.33±1.54, respectively (P < 0.05). (4) The results indicate that DEPTOR gene is successfully knocked out in Tek-Cre+ x DEPTORflox/flox mice.
