広島県東広島市の七ツ池では，排水時の池底で赤色風化した堆積物を観察できる。この池底堆積物の柱状試料を4 本採取し，各柱状試料について層相，pH，酸化還元電位測定，色彩測定，及び赤色部の詳細観察を行った。その結果，（1）風化層の多くは，砂層の上位に位置し，地下水面の変動帯に位置していること，（2）赤色化メカニズムのモデルについては，砂層の間隙水中での拡散供給のプロセスが適用できたが，無機的な酸化還元反応だけではなく，硫酸還元菌や鉄酸化細菌などの微生物の関与を考慮する必要があること，（3）色彩データのうち，彩度が化学的風化（鉄酸化物生成）の進行状況の指標として有用性があることが明らかとなった。また，これらの結果に基づいて七ツ池の堆積物の地学の学習素材としての可能性を考察した。, During drainage, reddish weathered sediments can be observed at the bottom of Nanatsu-ike Pond in Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Four columnar samples of this reservoir-bottom sediment were collected. Each columnar sample was subjected to facies, pH, redox potential measurement, color measurement, and detailed observation of the red part. The results showed the following: (1) most weathered layers were located above the sand layer and in the zone of groundwater-surface fluctuation; (2) for the model of the reddening mechanism, the process of diffusion-supply in the pore water of the sand layer could be applied, but it was necessary to consider the involvement of microorganisms such as sulfate-reducing bacteria and iron-oxidizing bacteria in addition to the inorganic redox reaction; and (3) among the color data, chroma was found to be a useful indicator of the progress of chemical weathering (iron oxide formation). Based on these results, the potential of the Nanatsu-ike Pond sediments for geoscience educational materials is discussed.

2021年10月16日（土）から11月14日（日）の約１ヶ月間、「かけがわ茶エンナーレ 2020 ＋ 1」が開催され、掛川市の4 つのエリアでアート作品の展示が行われた。４つのエリアのひとつ南エリアに位置する居沼池の畔に、伊達剛＋本間義章の建築家ユニットとして「222 生命の星座 ―ため池のイマージュ」と題した作品を制作。掛川市に222 もあるため池の座標をプロットした外壁を持つ、人が入れる大きさのカメラ・オブスキュラを設置。「見る」とはどういうことなのかを改めて考える場を創出した。

近年，地球温暖化に起因する気候変動や極端気象による各種災害が頻発している．また，地震による大規模被害も多く生じており，考慮すべき地震動を含め，降雨を考慮したため池堤体の耐震性を検討する必要があるものと考えられる．本研究では降雨あるいは地震を再現し，先行する事象・外力による損傷レベルによる最終的な被害様相の違いを確認するため，典型的なため池堤体模型を用いた降雨・振動実験を実施した．実験では，土槽内に同一断面のため池堤体を2 ケース作製し，「先行降雨+地震」，および「先行地震+ 降雨」のケースで振動実験を実施した．一連の実験から，1）降雨前の振動台実験において，盛土上流側の加速度応答が大幅に増幅された．2）降雨と震動台実験の順序の違いにより，ため池堤体の残留変形が異なることを確認した．これは，降雨浸透過程の違いによるものであり，堤体内の飽和度の変化がため池堤体の耐震性と残留変形に及ぼす影響が明らかであることが示唆された．In Tokyo, inland floods occupy about 80 percent of the economic damages caused by floods. Thus, a countermeasure to inland floods is an important issue. In this study, the factors contributing to inland floods in Tokyo are analyzed with the discrimination analysis using the rainfall data derived from X-band multi-parameter radar and the grid data of national land information. The results showed that the most important factor contributing to the occurrence of inland floods in Tokyo is the maximum hourly rainfall. When hourly rainfall exceeds 50 mm, inland floods tend to occur. The area ratio of depressed ground and buildings also contribute to the occurrence of inland floods. On the other hand, gradient of the topography has negative contribution.

In recent years, small earthfill dams are damaged by torrential rains. Record heavy rain was observed in wide area around West Japan due to the frontogenesis and typhoon from 26th June to 6th July 2018. Flooding of the river and sediment collapse occurred. The wide area suffered massive damages in these disasters. In Kurashiki city, Okayama Prefecture, the rainfall amount of 2.1 times the monthly precipitation amount in July was observed. In this report, the survey of four damaged small earthfill dams was conducted to confirm the extent of damage and to verify cause of the damage. As a result, all investigated small earthfill dams did not overflow. A small earth fill dam was collapsed completely and three small earthfill dams was collapsed from crest to foot of downstream slope of bank., 2018年6月28日から7月8日にかけて前線および台風7号により西日本を中心に広範囲で記録的な大雨が観測され，河川の氾濫や土砂災害等，各地で甚大な被害が発生した。岡山県倉敷市では7月の月降水量平年値の2.1倍の降雨量が観測され，継続的な降雨によってため池が被災した。本報では，ため池の被害状況を把握し，被災要因を解明するために岡山県内の5つのため池について現地調査を実施した。現地調査結果から，調査対象ため池は越流跡がなかったが，1 か所は決壊，3か所は天端から堤体下流法先にかけて堤体が崩壊していた。被災要因として，継続的な降雨が堤体内に浸透し間隙水圧の上昇に伴ってせん断強度が低下したことによるすべり破壊の可能性が高いことが明らかとな った。

近年のため池改修では，ベントナイト系遮水シート（GCL）を用いて改修する事例が増えている．既 往の研究で GCL および従来の前刃金工法を用いた堤体を対象とした実大規模震動実験で，両者の耐震 性が検証された．実際の施工では，GCL を継ぎ足す場合に重ね合わせ部が設けられる．また，階段状 のみならず直線状に設置される例も見られる．しかしながら，GCL 重ね合わせ部や設置方法の違いが 堤体の安定性におよぼす影響は明らかでない．そこで本研究では，重ね合わせ部および直線状に設置 された GCL を有する堤高 3 m の堤体を対象に震動実験を行い，既往研究の連続かつ階段状に設置され た GCL を有する堤体との比較検討を行った．実験結果から，レベル2 地震動により，重ね合わせ部の 相対変位は発生しないことが明らかになった．さらに，クラック発生状況および堤体の変形状況から， 直線状よりも階段状に設置した堤体の方が耐震性が高いことが明らかになった．Recent years, Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs) have been used to repair deteriorated small earth dams as impermeable materials. In a past study, the seismic performance of the embankment, in which a continuous GCL was installed in a stairs shape was verified. When retrofitting a embankment with GCL, GCL panel overlap can be introduced. In addition to a stairs shape, GCLs are used in a straight shape. However, the effects of GCL panel overlap and difference of installation methods on the seismic performance of the embankments remain unclear. In this study, full-scale shaking table tests were performed for 3 m embankment models with GCLs installed in a stairs shape and a straight shape, which were compared with the embankment with a continuous GCL in the past study. As a result, it was indicated that no change in GCL overlap length occurred due to shear displacement associated with Level2 shaking. Moreover, comparing the damage survey of embankments, it was revealed that the seismic performance of the straight shape is lower than that of the stairs shape.

2017年7月5日～6日にかけて九州北部地方に記録的な豪雨が観測され，河川の氾濫や土砂崩壊が発生し九州北部に甚大な被害を与えた。福岡県朝倉市では 200 年超過確率の確率雨量を大幅に超えた豪雨が観測され，市内のため池においては豪雨による洪水流が貯水池に流入し被害を受けた。さらに，ため池上流山腹の土砂崩壊によって土砂や流木がため池貯水池に流入した。本報では，ため池の被害状況を把握し，被災要因を解明するために朝倉市内 13 か所の被災ため池について現地調査を実施した。現地調査結果から，調査したため池の多くは，土砂や流木を伴う洪水流により洪水吐周辺が浸食されて被災していることが明らかとなった。また，今回の被災事例から想定外の豪雨に対するため池の被害を軽減するために必要な対策を提案した。In recent years, damages of small earthfill dams due to torrential rains are more than twice as much as earthquakes. Record heavy rain was observed in the northern part of Kyushu from 5th to 6th July 2017. Flooding of the river and sediment collapse occurred. The northern part of Kyushu suffered massive damages in these disasters. In Asakura city, Fukuoka Prefecture, Heavy rain exceeding 200 years probability exceeded was observed. Many small earthfill dams were damaged by the flood with debris flow and driftwood. In this report, the survey of thirteen damaged small earthfill dams was conducted to confirm the extent of damage. As a result, in most investigated small earthfill dams, the banks around spillway were collapsed due to erosion from the flood with debris flow and driftwood . The necessary measures to relieve the damage of the small earthfill dam to torrential rains from disaster case was proposed.

In this research, we investigated the applicability of methods that estimate the 3D resistivity structure using 2D resistivity survey data to numerical and field experiments. When the resistivity structure is in 3D and does not match the assumption of 2D inversion, the resistivity distribution derived from 2D inversion can result in artifacts. However, 2D inversion using 2D resistivity survey data can estimate the depth of the target body with orthogonal survey lines after estimating the length of the target body with parallel survey lines. Moreover, 2D difference inversions from multiple 2D resistivity survey data could estimate the vertical and horizontal water flow and help in 3D modeling of nonuniform sequential recharging. When 3D inversion of 2D resistivity survey data is conducted, parallel lines are useful to highlight areas of particular interest where further detailed work with an intersecting line should be carried out. The 3D inversion of 2D resistivity survey data is more suitable than 2D inversion to describe the 3D phenomena associated with groundwater recharge. This method can be applied to monitor relatively fast infiltration in the vadose zone. Moreover, 3D simulations of the groundwater flow and 2D resistivity survey can estimate high hydraulic conductivity locations. Although these methods use 2D resistivity survey data, 3D information of the subsurface can be estimated considering proper line arrangement, estimation order, or a combination of simulations.地震あるいは洪水により発生・拡大する、ため池や農地の内部における損傷領域は堤体や地盤の安全性低下や湛水不良の原因となるため、早い段階でその領域を特定して必要に応じた対策を施す必要がある。土中の損傷領域を地表面から直 接検出することには困難があり、直接視認できる掘削も可能でない場合が多い。非破壊調査法の一つである電気探査によ る比抵抗モニタリングは、地盤内の浸透を可視化できるため有効な手段である。土中の損傷領域は 3 次元構造を有するため 3 次元探査が望ましいが、測定コストや測定時間に制約があるため、迅速に測定ができる鉛直 2 次元電気探査データを用いて評価することが必要となる。本論文は、電気探査の 2 次元探査データを用いた鉛直 2 次元／3 次元解析および浸透解析を援用して損傷領域を推定する手法の提案を目的とする。主要な研究成果は、次の 5 点に要約される。探査データの 2 次元解析に基づく提案法では、地震あるいは洪水で発生した土中の亀裂に石灰水を注入し、亀裂に対して平行および直交測線で 2次元探査を行い、注入前後の比抵抗変化から亀裂範囲を簡易に推定する。数値実験および模型実験より、亀裂に平行な測線において比抵抗変化がある水平範囲はモデル亀裂長さに対応すること、および亀裂に直交す る測線において亀裂長さより亀裂深さが小さい場合は、注入材料の深度方向への広がりを推定できることを明らかにした。以上の結果から、2次元解析では結果に偽像が含まれることがあるが、亀裂に平行な測線からその水平範囲を推定し、その結果に基づいて直交する測線から鉛直範囲を推定することの有用性を示した。水田の漏水など地表からでは検出が困難な土中水の 3 次元浸透を簡易に把握することを目的として、地下水涵養試験において井桁状に配置した 4 測線で連続的に 2 次元探査を行い、2 次元の比抵抗変化率分布を解析した。涵養開始後の比抵抗変化はおおむね飽和度の変化を反映していること、不均一な涵養状況を反映していることが示された。これらの結果 から、複数測線の 2 次元解析により、土中水の鉛直および水平方向への浸透を含めた 3 次元の涵養状態を経時的かつ簡易に把握できることを明らかにした。探査データの 3 次元解析により推定する手法においては、高密度に探査測線を設置することが一般的であるが、3 次元解析のための効率的な 2 次元探査の測線配置法を提案した。数値実験の結果から、平行測線配置は対象物のおおよその位置を特定するのに効果的であり、直交測線配置は交差点の周辺で対象物の検出に最適であることを明らかにした。屋外試 験では平行測線に直交測線を追加した場合、推定位置は改善されること、現地適用試験では 2 つの直交測線のみの 3 次元解析でも、断層を低比抵抗帯として検出できることを検証した。これらより、平行測線によって特定の位置を検出し、交差測線によってより詳細な探査を実施することの効率性を示した。3 次元の浸透状況を推定するため、地下水涵養試験において、複数の 2 次元探査結果から 3 次元の比抵抗変化率分布を解析した。複数測線の 2 次元探査データを用いて 3 次元解析を行う場合、異なる時刻で得られた 2 次元データを同時に用いるため、異なる時刻の浸潤領域が重なりあった比抵抗分布を得る。ここでは、2 次元探査データの組み合わせを変えて 3 次元解析を行った結果、時刻に依らない不均一な比抵抗分布が明らかとなった。これにより、2 次元探査データであっても、それらの 3 次元解析によって、より正確な浸潤領域が把握できることを示した。探査データの 3 次元解析であっても測線数が少ないと偽像が生じ、比抵抗変化率分布のみからでは高透水部の推定が困難な場合がある。これに対し、地下水涵養試験において浸透流と電気探査の 3 次元解析を用いて高透水部を推定する手法を提案した。本手法は、複数の浸透モデルから計算された水分量分布に対して、2 次元探査を実施し、得られた計算探査データと現地探査データを比較することで、最適な湛水不良モデルを選択する。数値実験において、最小誤差を与えるモデルの高透水部の位置は、漏水位置と一致することを明らかにし、地下水涵養試験の現地実験において、不均一な湛水状況を推定できることを新たに示した。以上から、提案法は、本来は 3 次元に分布する土中の損傷領域を、容易に収集できる 2 次元探査データから効率的に推定することを実現し、迅速な機能診断や災害復旧活動を可能にした。本法は災害対策技術に貢献することが期待される。なお，本論文は京都大学大学院農学研究科学位審査論文であることを付記する。

農業用ヒートポンプの熱源としての浅いため池の可能性を検討するため，ため池底に熱交換器を設置し，地中浅層埋設の場合と比較しつつ，ため池底に設置することによって性能が向上する理由を明らかにした．水中に設置した場合，熱交換器の周辺水温は，熱交換器から 10cm 程度離れたポイントで 0.2℃ 程度の水温上昇しか認められないのに対して，地中に浅層埋設した熱交換器の上部 10cm～20cm の地層では，約 10℃ の地温上昇が認められ，高温状態が約 10 日間継続した．水中設置の場合，パイプ近傍の排熱滞留を短時間で解消させる対流が働き，熱交換器の性能を優位にしているものと考えられた．To determine if a shallow pond could act as a heat source for a heat exchanger, of an agricultural heat pump, submerged under the pond surface, a heat exchanger was installed in a shallow pond. Tests were carried out to compare this system with an identical system buried in the ground. The reason for the performance improvement in the case with the heat exchanger submerged in the pond was shown. In the case of the submerged system, the ambient water temperature rose by only 0.2°C even at a distance of 10 cm from the heat exchanger, while an approximately 10°C rise in soil temperature was observed in the buried system, which continued over lasting days. The present study suggests that some thermal convection mechanism is formed around the submerged heat exchanger and it contributes to the high heat- exchange performance in the water.

本稿は，ため池における管理実態の解明や各種の機能診断・評価手法の検討を通じて，ため池の豪雨に対する施設と下流域の被災リスクを管理により低減する方策を解明した。受益農家や集落が実施する管理作業の実態は，石川県珠洲市のため池を事例としてアンケート調査と現地調査に基づいて明らかにした。また，目視点検を踏まえた機能診断手法として，堤体の漏水経路を1m 深地温の測定結果を基にして，堤体中の地温分布のシミュレーションによる逆解析から推定する手法を提案した。豪雨によるため池の被災リスクの評価と低減策は，広島県東広島市のため池を事例として洪水流出モデルによるため池貯水位予測モデルを作成し，貯水位を指標として検討した。減災対策のうち，水位の低下管理は流域面積の大きなため池では被災リスクの低減効果は限定的な効果に留まるのに対し，洪水吐の簡易改修は安定的に被災リスクを低減することを明らかにした。ため池群の洪水緩和効果による下流河川流域の被災リスクの評価と低減策は，広島県椋梨川上流域を事例としてため池群を組み込んだ広域洪水流出モデルを作成し，下流河川の基準点における水位を指標として検討した。ため池群を活用して被災リスクの低減を図るためには，降雨ピーク前の空き容量確保が重要なことを明らかにした。ため池の利水容量の転用による洪水調節容量の創出は，広島県東広島市のため池を事例として取水に伴う貯水率の減少度合と降雨による回復度合を観測水位から求め，検討期間中の貯水率変化を簡便に予測する手法を考案して検討した。受益水田の転用・転作が進んでいるため池では，かんがい期間と洪水期間が競合する期間においても利水容量を転用できる可能性が高いことを明らかにした。棚田における土壌流出の評価を踏まえたため池集水域管理の検討は，島根県出雲地方における棚田の土壌流出の観測結果に基づいて観測田（耕作田／遊休田）の土壌流出実態を明らかにした上で，土壌流亡予測式における水稲・水田の作物係数C と保全係数P を算出して行った。土壌流亡予測式の係数比較から水稲作の維持は土壌流出の抑制に有効であることを明らかにし，貯水池への土砂流入抑制による貯水容量の維持に資する，棚田を含むため池集水域の管理について考察した。, In this study, we investigated management measures to reduce the risk of heavy rain disaster to irrigation pond facilities and downstream areas by clarifying the actual condition of irrigation pond management and discussing various methods of functional diagnosis and evaluation.We made a case study on the actual condition of management conducted by farmers and local community members who benefit from irrigation ponds in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture through questionnaire survey and field investigation. We then proposed a functional diagnosis method based on visual checks; this method estimates leakage paths in a dam from the inverse analysis of simulated ground temperature distribution in the dam on the basis of ground temperature measurements at a depth of 1 m.We evaluated the risk of heavy rain disaster to irrigation ponds and discussed mitigation measures for the case of irrigation ponds in Higashi-hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture by developing a reservoir level prediction model based on a flood runoff model and using the reservoir level as an indicator. We found that among the disaster mitigation measures, controlled water level reduction in an irrigation pond having a large catchment area has only a limited effect on disaster risk reduction, whereas minor modifications to spillways can reduce disaster risks on a stable basis.We evaluated disaster risk reduction in downstream river areas resulting from flood mitigation using a group of irrigation ponds and discussed mitigation measures for the case of the upper river basin of the Mukunashi River in Hiroshima Prefecture by developing a regional flood runoff model incorporating a group of irrigation ponds and using river water levels at downstream reference locations as an indicator. We found that it is important to secure an available capacity before experiencing peak rainfall in order to reduce disaster risks by using a group of irrigation ponds.To create an extra capacity of flood control by diverting the service water capacity of irrigation ponds, we studied the case of irrigation ponds in Higashi-hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture and deduced, from the observed water levels, decrease in the percentage of storage due to withdrawal and increase in the percentage of storage due to rainfall. We then created and discussed a simple method to predict changes in the percentage of storage during a given investigation period. We found that in irrigation ponds serving water to paddy fields where diversion and crop changeover have progressed, it is likely that service water capacity can be diverted even during an overlapping periodof irrigation and flood control.In studying the management of irrigation pond catchment areas in consideration of soil runoff from terraced paddy fields, we observed soil runoff from terraced paddy fields in the Izumo district of Shimane Prefecture to clarify the state of soil runoff from the observed cultivated and idle paddy fields, and then calculated the cropping factor C and the conservation practice factor P in the soil loss equation for the studied paddy and paddy fields. From the comparison of factors in the soil loss equation, we found that preserving rice cultivation is effective for suppressing soil runoff. We then discussed the management of irrigation pond catchment areas including terraced paddy fields in terms of maintaining reservoir capacity by suppressing the flow of deposit into reservoirs.

オオタニシの生息場所と成長を小さなため池で調べた。オオタニシは有機物の多い砂泥底を好む傾向が見られ,砂底には小型個体しか見られなかった。蓋の輪紋数から年齢を推定し,年間成長量を求めた。その結果,殻長は1歳で17mm,2歳で28mm,3歳で40mmと,毎年約10mm成長することがわかった。, Habitat and growth of Japanese mystery snail (Cipangopaludina japonica) were investigated in a small pond. The snail preferred the sand-muddy bottom where organic matters were abundant rather than the sandy bottom. Age of snails were estimated from the number of winter rings on the operculum. As there was a liner correlation between the length of long axis of operculum and the shell length, size of the snail when each winter ring had been formed was estimated from the long axis of each winter ring. The mean shell length estimated was 17 mm at the first winter, 28 mm at the second one, and 40 mm at the third one.

鳥取砂丘の多鯰ケ池（鳥取市）および湖山池の南岸に近い鳥取市大塚にある2カ所のため池（大塚A池，B池： 大塚B池は正確には鳥取市高住）で2014年の春から秋まで定期的にトンボ相の調査をおこなった。多鯰ケ池では21種，大塚A池は28種（うちコサナエは当地新記録），大塚B池は28種（うち11種は当地新記録）の全部で33種を記録した。多鯰ケ池では鳥取県東部では記録の少ないホンサナエ（鳥取県RDB 2012で準絶滅危惧）が，大塚A池では鳥取県内の記録が少ないハネビロトンボ（南方からの飛来種）が出現した。種多様度指数 (イトトンボ科を除く)は，どの地点でも概ね春季から夏季にかけて増加し秋に下降するが，大塚B池では，人為的な活動（草刈り，水抜きなど）により種多様度指数の変動が大きかった。Odonate communities were surveyed in three lakes and ponds (Lake Tanegaike near Tottori Sand Dunes, Otsuka Pond A in Otsuka, and Otsuka Pond B in Takazumi) in Tottori City, Tottori Pref., Honshu, Japan in 2014. Shaogomphus postocularis, which is rare in eastern part of Tottori Prefecture and listed on the red list (2012) of Tottori Prefecture, was found in Lake Tanegaike. A few individuals of Tramea virginia, which is considered to be an incoming dragonfly species from breeding areas somewhere in Shikoku or Kyushu and its records are scarce in Tottori Prefecture, were found in Otsuka Pond A. Simpson’s diversity indices of odonate communities (excluding Family Coenagrionidae) generally increased from spring towards summer and decreased in autumn, though fluctuation of the index was large in Otsuka Pond B due to mowing and drainage of the pond.

We investigated the seasonal variation of specific growth and grazing rate, zooplankton and phytoplankton species andchlorophyll α concentration, and examined the relationship between the phytoplankton biomass and species, and specificgrazing rate and zooplankton species in a pond of the Kuwabukuro biotope park in April-December 2012. The chlorophyll αconcentration ranged from 10 to 161 μg L-1 and was the maximum value in August. The specific growth rate showed in therange of 0.05 to 1.46 d-1 and the maximum value in June. The specific grazing rate was in the range of 0.05 to 0.71 d-1, and themaximum value in June. The value of the specific grazing rate reduced to 0.28 d-1 in July and increased to 0.61 d-1 in August.The values were lower than the specific growth rate throughout the study period. A significant positive relationship was foundfor the specific grazing and growth rate（ p < 0.05, n = 9）. It is thought that the specific grazing rate increased due to the factthat the specific growth rate increased with water temperature and the amount of solar radiation. Cell number of diatom negatively correlated with individual number of nauplius from April to July （p < 0.05, n = 4）.Consequently, it is possible that the nauplius top-down controlled the cell number of diatom. As blue-green algae weredominated in July, one factor the specific grazing rate was greatly reduced in July might be due to an increase in blue-greenalgae, Microcystis novacekii . In the biotope pond, a bloom of phytoplankton, particularly green algae, occurred in August,because the specific grazing rate of zooplankton was reduced by blue-green algae in July, and the higher water temperatureand the amount of solar radiation and the lower N/P ratio in August.

2011年3月に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震では，多数のため池が被災し，藤沼湖では決壊・氾濫で死者・行方不明者を出す惨事となる等，頻発する大地震に対して甚大な被害をもたらすため池の被災危険度評価は必要不可欠である。本研究では，ため池の地震動による被災要因を多角的・客観的に評価するため，甚大な被害が生じた東北地震を事例に，気象庁の推計震度，ため池データベース及び国・県の被災情報を用いて，被災率（Rd）を定義することによって地形・地質，堤軸方向や堤体形状について被災検証を行った。その結果，Rdは推計震度によって増加し，特定の地形，堤軸方向や堤頂の長さ，高い堤高で天頂幅が広く・上流法勾配が緩い横断面形状が高い被災リスクとなる等，地震動による階層的な被災リスク構造を被災要因概念図として提案した。

奈良大学総合研究所所報第17号および第20号では、税務大学校租税史料室に所蔵される奈良県の地租改正地引絵図について所蔵状況を確認した成果をまとめた。本稿では、地租改正地引絵図に描かれた地割から廃池となった溜池の範囲が判読できる例を示したい。その池の跡と想定できる範囲は江戸時代に一村となり、現地では今も土手の一部が痕跡として残されている。ここでは、先行研究をふまえて廃池場所の現状を報告したい。

ため池の湿生植物群落の成立要因を探るため，姨捨大池（長野県千曲市）において，群落および植物相の調査を行なった。姨捨大池は農業用のため池で，水系の連続した３つの隣接する池（上池，中池，下池）からなり，池により水位調節が異なる。湖畔全域の植生を把握したのち，山つき湿原５群落と水際草原６群落に調査区を設けた。群落調査として，各調査区で0.0625～32㎡までの24方形区を調査して種数面積曲線の作成と解析を行なった。植物相について，同一池内と異なる池間の出現種の類似性を分析した。種数面積曲線から求めた最小面積A・ﾜﾞと種数S・ﾜﾞは，山つき湿原では群落全体の面積規模Aと高い正の相関関係にあったが，水際草原では相関は認められなかった。植物相について，各池に固有な種数はいずれの植生でも全体のおよそ３分の２に及び，池間の類似性も低く，池ごとに特色ある湿生植物群落が成立していることが判明した。湿生植物群落への水位変動の影響が示唆され，植生保全に対するため池管理の重要性について考察を加えた。, Article, 信州大学農学部AFC報告 10: 91-100(2012)

近年ため池が生活空間に数多く分布する西日本を中心に，池の多面的機能に注目した他目的利用が盛んにおこなわれている中，池の分布が少なく身近な存在ではない地域におけるため池の他目的利用と維持・管理の実態を，千葉県市原市を事例にため池台帳の統計資料と実態調査により明らかにした．市原市では，池の管理主体を担う水利団体が弱体化する中で，行政との連携強化が促進され，行政が維持・管理に大きく関わることで，維持・管理がおこなわれている実態が把握できた．その一方で，ため池が地域住民に身近ではないため，西日本に比べ住民のため池の維持・管理への参加意識が低く，農業やため池を取り巻く状況がめまぐるしく変化している中で，管理主体が今後の維持・管理に大きな不安を感じていることが明らかとなった．また，ため池の他目的利用について，ため池台帳の集計内容と実態調査での結果内容に大きな齟齬がみられ，地理学の実態調査の重要性が浮き彫りとなった．

ひと生活圏内にある小規模な池で採取した水及び堆積物試料を環境教育に活用するための基礎資料を得るため, 上越教育大学構内の弁天池を対象として, 水温, pH, 導電率, 溶存酸素濃度, 硬度, アルカリ度及び化学的酸素要求量を測定した｡溶存酸素濃度, 化学的酸素要求量, アルカリ度と水温は明確な季節変動を示した｡これらの項目で弁天池の基本的な水質変動挙動を概ね理解することができた｡弁天池においては外部からの有機物の流入の影響は大きくなく, 化学的酸素要求量の季節変動は水中の生物活動と関連すると考えられた｡また底質分析も行い, マンガン, 秩, 鉛, 鍋, 亜鉛について含有率を測定した｡, To utilize the reservoir in education, water and sediment samples of a reservoir were chemically analyzed. In Benten pond of Joetsu university of education yard, temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, hardness, alkalinity and chemical oxygen demand (COD), were measured. The seasonal variations of water have been clarified.DO, COD and alkalinity and the water temperature showed clear seasonal variation. The sediment analysis provided concentrations of manganese, iron, lead, copper and zinc.

Preparing water resources is a principal problem to introduce a new irrigation system in mountainous areas where have poor water sources. From 2003 to 2005, we promoted a project aiming to introduce water saving irrigation system by using small irrigator (pulsator) into the mountainous area, and this paper shows the results of a research conducted in the project. The object of the research is to improve water quality of an abandoned and polluted small reservoir (940m^3 in volume located at Takase in Kagawa Japan) to utilize as a water resource of the water saving irrigation system through dilution of the ponding water by pouring rain water fallen on greenhouses into the small reservoir was experimented as a new method. As a result, the following is clarified. 1 Pouring rain water from greenhouses into the reservoir was followed by decrease of values of EC (from 250 to around 100μS/cm), pH (from 9.5 to around 7.0), turbidity (from 100-200 to 20-30 degree) and concentrations of ions such as Cl^-, NO_3-N, SO^2-_4, Na^+, Ca^2+, and this method can improve effectively water quality of polluted small reservoir. 2 Change in EC value while pouring rain water can described well through two processes, one is decrease due to poured rain water which is in proportion to amount of rainfall, and the other is countervailing increase which is in proportion to days of no rain. 3 In case of the reservoir of 940m^3, it was presumed that greenhouse roof area of more than 520m^2 was required for stable effect of the water quality improvement, through the simulation using two processes above. 4 Also, it was conjectured through the simulation that more than 250m^2 roof areas to a reservoir of 500m^3 and more than 1100m^2 roof areas to a reservoir of 2000m^3 was required respectively to acquire the similar effect of the case the 940m^3 reservoir. In this research, the mechanism of the countervailing increase of EC could not be clarified, and change in EC value also could not be generalized because of complicated phenomena. So, the results of the research can apply just to the reservoirs which show similar properties of countervailing increase of EC. However, the effects of a new improvement method of water quality can be showed. Hereafter, change in water quality in the reservoir should be clarified more in detail to generalize this method.

From 2001 to 2003, 16 species of freshwater invertebrates (excluding insects) and 29 species of vertebrates (excluding birds) were recorded from 214 reservoirs in Hirata Area, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, as follows: eight species of Mollusca, three species of Annelida, five species of Crustacea, 13 species of Osteichthyes, nine species of Amphibia, six species of Reptilia, and one species of Mammalia. Among them, two alien fishes live in several reservoirs, Micropterus salmoides were found from nine sites and Lepomis macrochirus were found from six sites. A forest green tree frog, Rhacophorus arboreus is a near threatened species of Shimane Prefecture were found from five sites.

Aquatic insect fauna in irrigation ponds were surveyed in the Hirata Area of Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, during 2001-2003. A total of 214 ponds were surveyed, and we recorded here 108 species consisting of 42 coleopterans, 34 odonatas, 27 hemipterans, and 6 others. The present sample obtained includes 12 RDB species. Two hemipterans, Sigara maikoensis and Saldula recticollis are new to Shimane Prefecture.

ため池のような基盤施設の整備にあたっては,施設が有する多面的機能の現状と可能性を適切に把握し,それを踏まえた整備計画の立案が望まれる。このような多面的機能の理解,把握のためには,これまでの研究や経験によって蓄積されてきた数々の知識を統合・整理して,多面的機能に係わる事象を的確に表現したモデルを構築することが有用である。しかし,そのようなモデルの構築には,多面的機能という定量的には扱い難い事象の取り扱いや,構築されたモデルの妥当性の検証方法などに問題がある。本研究では,これらの問題を解決するために定性推論を用いる手法について検討したところ,定性微分方程式系によって対象の定性的な定式化が可能となり,定性シミュレータQSIMを利用したモデルの挙動解析によってモデルの妥当性の検証を行うこともできることも示され,この手法の有効性が確認された。, To improve infrastructure such as irrigation ponds, a proper assessment of the multifunctionality of structures is essential, and this evaluation should be the basis for the improvement plan. Methods for modeling phenomena related to multifunctionality are available. However, difficulties arise due to the quantitative treatment for multifunctionality and the evaluation of model validity. To solve these problems, this study examines the applicability of qualitative reasoning in modeling the multifunctionality of irrigation ponds. We qualitatively express phenomena related to multifunctionality using the system of qualitative differential equations. Through the use of qualitative simulation algorithm (QSIM), we evaluate the validity of the multifunctionality models. From these results, we were able to demonstrate the applicability of qualitative reasoning methods in addressing qualitative problems, such as the multifunctionality of irrigation ponds.

ため池のような基盤施設の整備にあたっては,施設が有する多面的機能の現状と可能性を適切に把握し,それを踏まえた整備計画の立案が望まれる。しかしながら,個々のため池が現在どのような多面的機能を有し,また整備等によってどのような多面的機能が発揮され得るのかを判断することには困難が伴う。そこで本研究では,多面的機能に配慮したため池整備計画の立案という定性的な情報に基づく問題の解決を計算機上で実現するために,定性推論の手法を応用することを試みた。その結果,ため池の多面的機能に係わる事象を機能涵養モデルで表現し,定性微分方程式系で定式化することによって,定性シミュレータであるQSIMを用いて多面的機能の機能量とため池を特徴付けるパラメータの挙動解析を行うことができた。この推論結果は,整備計画の効果を検討する材料として利用することができる。さらに,整備手法とパラメータとの関係をまとめた手法表を用意することで,効率よく具体的な整備計画を立案し得ることも示された。, To improve infrastructure such as irrigation ponds, a proper assessment of the multifunctionality of structures is essential; this evaluation should be the basis for the improvement plan. However, accurate assessment is difficult, as is estimating the potential scale of improvement. In this study, we attempted to apply qualitative reasoning, based on assessment of the multifunctionality, in the development of improvement plans for irrigation ponds. The aim of this study was to use computer-based methods to address qualitative problems, such as the multifunctionality of irrigation ponds. We describe these phenomena with a function-recharging model and formularize them using a system of qualitative differential equations. Through the use of qualitative simulation algorithm (QSIM), it was possible to predict the amount of multifunctionality and the qualitative parameter values characteristic of irrigation ponds. From our analysis, we were able to examine the effects of modification to the multifunctionality of irrigation ponds. We were also able to construct a table that captures the relationship between methods of improvement and the qualitative parameter values characteristic of irrigation ponds, thus setting out a concrete plan for improving efficiency.

黒瀬町のため池台帳の分析を通じて、ため池潅漑地帯における伝統的水利組織の実態や特質を明確にしようとした。水利施設としての池の存在状況に加えて、池を利用・管理する水利集団についても考察した。黒瀬町の池総数は447であった。水田10ha当たりの池数は約5カ所に達し、農家1戸は平均3～4カ所の池と関係を持っていた。ただし大部分は小規模な池で、池1力所当たりの平均的規模は貯水量3,330m3、受益面積6.94ha、受益戸数13.7戸にすぎない。ため池の存在状況には地域差が認められるが、どの地区においも、ため池水利の中核は比較的規模の大きな共有池であった。各地区の共有池は江戸期から現在に至るまで、地縁単位の共同性を基礎とした水利集団によって維持管理されてきた。共有池の大部分は良好な施設状態にあり、水利集団による共同作業の継続が確認できる。昭和57年(1982)作成のため池台帳には、歴史的に継承されてきた水利組織の強固性が色濃く反映されていた。, The irrigation ponds in Hiroshima prefecture reach about 21,000 which is the second large number in the whole country. A quarter of irrigation ponds in Hiroshima prefecture concentrates in the Kamo plateau, however there are few reports about on the actual conditions and the characteristics of these irrigation ponds. The purpose of this paper is to clear the statistical trends on the irrigation ponds and the irrigation system by the use of the data surveyed about irrigation ponds in Kurose town. The total number of the irrigation ponds in Kurose town are 447. These are mainly the common or the individual ponds and so small size. The average size of an irrigation pond is 3,330m3. The average area of beneficiary is 6.94ha and the average number of beneficiary are about 14. The irrigation group in Kurose town keep the good conditions on the irrigation equipment. They carry out the communal work which are on the basis of the rural community. As often pointed out, the communal work of the irrigation group are playing the important role to maintain the ponds and the channels at the traditional irrigation system in the pond irrigation area. The irrigation system in Kurose town is a typical example of these tendency.

ため池の水質を化学分析と人間の感覚情報で調べ, 汚濁実態を把握するとともにその浄化方法を考察した。堺市の園池(通称, 府大池)を中心に, においや栄養塩類現存量等の季節変化を調べたほか, 堺市を中心に15カ所のため池についても水質調査を行った。園池では, においや栄養塩類現存量は抽水植物の発達した護岸の方がコンクリートのみの護岸よりその値は低く, 抽水植物やこれらに付着する藻類によって浄化された可能性が推察された。また, ニューラルネットワークを用いた解析により, においや濁度と, 栄養塩類現存量等の間に関連性が見られ, 汚濁の指標としての適用可能性が考えられる。堺市のため池は, 池ごとに栄養塩類に大きな差異が見られ, また, 極端に汚濁が進行しているものも多く見られた。ため池の水質改善には, 生物のもつ浄化作用を高めるような護岸工や管理の必要性が強く認識された。, Many of irrigation ponds have been emitted unpleasant smell, and the water quality has been worse mainly due to drainage by the human activity at Sakai in Osaka Prefecture. In this study, the relation between the construction materials of embankment and the water qualities in an irrigation pond (e.g., Sonoike in Osaka Prefecture University) was surveyed mainly. Additionally, We have tried to develop a prototype of artificial neural network system for irrigation ponds to find out the scientific indexes of water qualities from the sensuous items such as smell and feeling.

東広島市の柏原水利組合を事例として溜池潅漑地帯における農業水利集団の実態を解明した。同組合の決算書に基づいて、収入や支出の内容、決算方法等の時系列分析を行い、収支状況からみた水利集団の特質を明確にしようとした。同組合の収支に関して最も特徴的なのは、年度末の決算時に、反別割で賦課された水割金額に対して、出夫という労働提供に応じた相殺勘定が適用される点である。水割金は毎年の主要収入であるが、その大部分は出夫金(労働提供に対する手当)によって相殺されてしまう。同組合の機能は組合員による共同出役作業を組織し、関連施設の維持管理を行うことにある。その業務は組合員の出夫をなくしては成り立ち得ない。特徴的な決算方法は、組合員自身の労働提供を前提とした同組合の業務にとって、最も適合的な方法と解釈できる、日本の農業水利において、水利集団の共同出役作業の果たす役割は大きい。農業構造の変動に伴って、水利集団の共同性は弱体化しつつあるが、水利施設の維持・管理は水利集団の共同出役作業なしには成立しえない。この傾向は河川潅漑よりも、施設や用水に対してきめ細かな管理が要求される溜池潅漑において、一層顕著であるといわれている。収支状況にみる同組合の実態や特質は、そのことを強く裏付けていた。, The aim of this paper is to clarify the characteristics of the irrigation group in the pond irrigation area by case study of "Kasiyobara-mizuko" group in Higashi-Hiroshima city. We therefore surveyed some aspects of the irrigation system of the group and analyzed the statistical trends of the revenue and the expenditure on the irrigation service by use of the time series data based on the closing accounts of each fiscal year. The collaborations in the irrigation group are on the basis of rural community. As often pointed out, they are playing an important role in the agricultural irrigation system in Japan. But there are very few reports on the irrigation groups in the pond irrigation area. We especially emphasizes the point that the collaborations in the irrigation group are essential to maintain the pond and the channel for irrigation carefully. The "Kasiyobara-mizuko" group is a typical example of this tendency.
