- Abstract
This study aimed to identify the effect of using a platform (Thing Link) based on digital learning objects in developing the spelling skills of elementary school female students in Khamis Mushait. The study adopted the experimental method; to achieve its objectives, the study adopted the test as the primary tool for data collection, and the study sample consisted of (64) female students who were deliberately selected from the third grade of elementary school female students, divided into two groups: the control group which consisted of (32) students who were informed by the usual method, and the experimental group consisted of ( 32) female students learned using the ThingLink platform based on digital learning objects, and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the two groups (experimental and control) in the spelling skills test as a whole in the post-measurement, in favor of the experimental group who was studied by employing the ThingLink platform, where the study showed that the average score of the experimental group was (26.22) out of (30).
