L’article présente les résultats d’un projet de standardisation de l’orthographe bambara sur la base d’un corpus annoté des textes (Corpus Bambara de Référence). A la première étape, pour tous les lexèmes du dictionnaire Bamadaba ayant des variantes graphiques, les statistiques d’occurrences détaillées dans le Corpus ont été relevées. Puis, ces variantes ont été triées, ce qui a permis d’établir l’écriture normative pour la majorité des lexèmes variables. A l’étape finale, les lexèmes à formes variables pour lesquelles les données statistiques avaient été considérées insuffisantes ont été discutés par un groupe d’experts représentant des instances linguistiques maliennes différentes, et les variantes normatives ont été sélectionnées. En même temps, les règles d’orthographe bambara ont été revisitées et précisées là où cela s’est avéré nécessaire. This paper presents the results of a project of standardization of the Bambara orthography on the basis of an annotated corpus of texts (The Bambara Reference Corpus). First, all lexemes in the Bamadaba dictionary which had spelling variants were checked for their frequences in the Corpus. Then the variants were sorted, and standard graphic variants for a great number of lexemes were established. As a final step, a list of lexemes for which statistics were insufficient was drawn up, and a group of experts representing different Malian linguistic institutions discussed this list and selected the variants which could be accepted as standard. At the same time, general spelling rules of Bambara were revisited and edited wherever necessary. В статье излагаются результаты проекта по стандартизации орфографии языка бамана на основе корпуса аннотированных текстов (Справочного Корпуса Бамана). На первом этапе исследования все лексемы из словаря Бамадаба, имеющие графические варианты, были проверены в отношении частоты употребления каждого варианта в Корпусе. Затем была проведена сортировка этих вариантов на основании частот их употребления, и для большинства лексем была выбрана стандартная форма написания. Одновременно был составлен «остаточный список» лексем, для которых статистические данные оказались недостаточными для принятия решений о стандартном графическом варианте. Последним этапом стало рабочее совещание экспертов, представляющих различные малийские учреждения, в которых осуществляется изучение национальных языков. Эксперты обсудили лексемы из «остаточного списка» и выбрали стандартный вариант для каждой из них. Помимо этого, были заново рассмотрены правила орфографии бамана, и в некоторых случаях было предложено внести в них изменения.

Availability of big electronic annotated corpora for Maninka and Bamana languages lets us think about development of corpus-driven dictionaries, i.e. dictionaries of a new generation. In a corpus-driven dictionary, elaboration of the polysemy, collocations, syntactic valencies, stylistic, regional and dialectal characteristics of each lexeme (and of each sense of a lexeme) will be based on the analysis of a concordance extracted from the corpus. Henceforth, it becomes possible to evaluate statistically each feature. Two sample examples of lexicographic analysis of Bambara lexemes, bánban and jàhadi, are given. La disponibilité des corpus électroniques annotés comptant des millions de mots pour les langues maninka et bambara permet de penser des dictionnaires de nouvelle génération. Dans un tel dictionnaire, l'élaboration de la polysémie, combinabilité, valences syntaxiques, caractéristiques stylistiques, régionales et dialectales pour chaque lexème (et pour chaque sens du lexème) sera basée sur l'analyse du concordancier dérivé du corpus. Désormais, il devient possible d'évaluer statistiquement chaque trait caractéristique du lexème. Une analyse lexicographique, sur la base des concordanciers, est présenté sur l'exemple des lexèmes bambara bánban et jàhadi. Создание миллионных электронных аннотированных корпусов для языков манинка и бамана ставит вопрос о разработке « корпусных словарей », т.е. словарей нового поколения. В таком словаре разработка полисемии, сочетаемости, синтаксических валентностей, стилистических и регионально-диалектных характеристик каждой лексемы (и каждого значения лексемы) должно базироваться на анализе корпусного конкорданса. Становится возможным не только выявление различных характеристик, но и их статистическая оценка. В статье даётся, в качестве примера, лексикографический анализ баманских лексем bánban и jàhadi на основе корпусных данных.

National audience; Since last decade, big text corpora have been built for Maninka and Bamana languages. While working on the corpora, electronic dictionaries for these languages are being built too. Time is coming for the launching projects for building dictionaries of a new generation, i. e. corpus-driven dictionaries. In such a dictionary, each lexeme could be represented in a much more elaborated way than in "traditional" dictionaries. This would concern the polysemy of a lexeme, its collocations and valencies, stylistic and regional characteristics of each sense, and other lexicographical aspects. As a sample, the structure of an entry for the Bamana verb bánban is presented.; В течение последнего десятилетия были созданы миллионные корпуса текстов манинка и бамана. Параллельно с этим ведется работа по созданию и совершенствованию словарей этих языков. Складываются условия для вывода лексикографической работы на принципиально новый уровень, который имел бы целью создание «корпусных словарей» (corpus-driven dictionaries). Это позволило бы гораздо детальнее и достовернее, по сравнению с «традиционными» словарями, представлять полисемию лексем, их сочетаемостные свойства, стилистические и регионально-диалектные характеристики каждого значения. В статье дается пробная разработка структуры словарной статьи глагола bánban на основании Справочного корпуса бамана.

International audience; Les contextes de l'utilisation de la marque de pluriel avec les noms des parties de corps appariées son analysés en bambara. Il s'avère que pour ces noms, la forme sans marque du pluriel peut être considérée comme la forme du "nombre commun". La forme pluriel de ces noms n'exprime pas la pluralité telle quelle, mais plutôt la "pluralité marquée", le plus souvent avec une composante sémantique du passivité ou dysfonction.; Анализируются контексты употребления и не-употребления показательного множественного числа при названиях парных частей тела в языке бамана. Делается вывод, что для названий парных частей тела форму без показателя множественности следует считать не столько сингулярной, сколько «формой общего числа». Плюральная форма для таких существительных выражает не столько множественность саму по себе, сколько «маркированную множественность», чаще всего с семантическим компонентом пассивности/дисфункциональности.

Three types of disyllabic metric feet are singled out: neutral (both syllables have equal status), trochaic (the first syllable has a long vowel, and the second syllable has a short vowel), and iambic (the vowel of the first vowel is usually reduced, and the second one is full-fledged). The second syllable of a iambic foot can be regarded as accentuated, and the first one as non-accentuated, and this opposition cannot be interpreted in the terms of the length contrast. The foot accent displays no correlation with the subdivision of syllables into tonally dominant and recessive.; Излагаются базовые сведения о тональной системе языка бамана: два уровневых тона; деление слогов на тонально-доминантные (которым приписывается лексический тон) и рецессивные (не имеющие своего лексического тона). Инфинитив в языке бамана (манде < нигер-конго) рассматривается в типологической перспективе. Анализируются его морфологические особенности, внешний и внутренний синтаксис. Выделяются употребление инфинитива для оформления зависимой предикации при матричном глаголе (при этом особое внимание уделено случаям кореферентности нулевого подлежащего инфинитива прямому дополнению матричного глагола) и использование инфинитива в значении консекутива. Особое внимание уделяется конструкции т.н. "псевдокаузативного инфинитива". Высказывается предположение о происхождении показателя инфинитива от предлога с комитативно-инструментальным значением.; L'infinitif en bambara est présenté dans une perspective typologique. L'infinitif bambara est utilisé pour la prédication dépendante d'une clause matrixe (y compris la situation où le sujet zéro de l'infinitif est co-référent au complément d'objet direct du verbe martix) et pour exprimer la valeur du consécutif. Le cas de l'infinitif "pseudocausatif" (à sujet-zéro impersonnel) est analysé spécialement. There is a rich descriptive history on Bambara tonology in the published literature (e.g. Bird 1966; Courtenay 1974; Creissels 1978, 1988, 1992; Diarra 1976; Dumestre 1987; Dwyer 1976). Despite the existence of several seminal works on the subject, certain details of the language’s tonal system remain unclear. Scholars have developed deep knowledge about the lexical and grammatical functions of Bambara tone, yet the dependency of tones and tonal processes on prosodic structure has only more recently been explored in detail (Green 2013, 2015; Leben 2002, 2003; Weidman and Rose 2006; Vydrine 2002, 2010). In this paper, we aim to contribute to this ongoing trend by considering a role played by prosodic structure in one particular set of Arabic borrowings for which the assignment of tonal melodies differs from that found in words of non-Arabic origin. We explore possible explanations for this divergence that relate to contemporary scholarship on the properties of Bambara’s prosodic structure. Our point of view on this subject differs from earlier analyses (e.g., Dumestre 1987) in that we propose that prosodic structure plays an important role in the assignment of Bambara tonal melodies. Finally, we relate our findings to a taxonomic model of loanword prosody in Davis et al. (2012) and consider the bearing that our findings may have on the typology of Bambara prosodic structure alongside other Mande languages. Il existe une riche histoire descriptive sur la tonologie du bambara dans la littérature publiée (par exemple Bird 1966, Courtenay 1974, Creissels 1978, 1988, 1992, Diarra 1976, Dumestre 1987, Dwyer 1976). Malgré l'existence de plusieurs travaux séminaires sur ce sujet, certains détails du système tonal de la langue demeurent obscurs. Les chercheurs ont développé une connaissance approfondie des fonctions lexicales et grammaticales du ton en bambara, mais la dépendance des tonalités et des processus tonals sur la structure prosodique n'a été étudiée que plus récemment (Green 2013, 2015, Weiden et Rose, 2006; Vydrine 2002, 2010). Dans cet article, nous cherchons à contribuer à cette tendance en considérant le rôle joué par la structure prosodique dans un ensemble particulier d'emprunts arabes pour lesquels l'attribution de mélodies tonales diffère de celle trouvée dans des mots d'origine non arabe. Nous explorons les explications possibles de cette divergence qui se rapportent à l'érudition contemporaine sur les propriétés de la structure prosodique du bambara. Notre point de vue sur ce sujet diffère des analyses antérieures (par exemple, Dumestre 1987) en ce que nous proposons que la structure prosodique joue un rôle important dans l'attribution de mélodies tonales en bambara. Enfin, nous relions nos découvertes à un modèle taxonomique de prosodie d’emprunts dans Davis et al. (2012) et considérons la portée que nos résultats peuvent avoir sur la typologie de la structure prosodique du bambara aux côtés d’autres langues mandées. Описанию тонологии бамана посвящена богатая литература (в частности, Bird 1966; Courtenay 1974; Creissels 1978, 1988, 1992; Diarra 1976; Dumestre 1987; Dwyer 1976). Имеющиеся публикации освещают ключевые вопросы в этой области, однако некоторые детали баманской тонологии всё же остаются неясными. Исследователи уделили много внимания лексическим и грамматическим функциям баманского тона, однако зависимость тонов и тональных процессов от просодической структуры была рассмотрена в деталях лишь недавно (Green 2013, 2015; Leben 2002, 2003; Weidman and Rose 2006; Vydrine 2002, 2010). Эта статья имеет целью укрепить это направление, проанализировав роль просодической структуры на конкретной выборке, а именно, на арабских заимствованиях, приписывание которым тоновых контуров подчиняется особым правилам. Рассматриваются различные объяснения таких различий, связанных с современными взглядами на особенности просодической структуры бамана. Наша точка зрения по этому вопросу отличается от позиций предшественников (см., в частности, Dumestre 1987), поскольку мы считаем, что в языке бамана просодическая структура играет важную роль в приписывании тональных контуров. Наконец, мы связываем наши результаты с таксономической моделью просодии заимствований в (Davis et al. 2012) и высказываем предположения о последствиях, которые эти результаты могут иметь для тонологии баманской просодической структуры, а также таковой в других языках манде.

Bamana language has a lexical class of pre-verbial adverbs, different from post-verbial adverbs. Although integrated with the verb at the suprasegmental level, pre-verbial adverbs remain autonomous words, which can be demonstrated through syntactic criteria. On the other hand, the same syntactic slot can be occupied by nouns, in which case these nouns express the meaning of the manner of action. The placement of nouns in this position can be regarded as a productive means of conversion of the nouns into pre-verbial adverbs.; В языке бамана выделяется особая часть речи - предглагольные наречия, отличная от наречий постглагольных. Несмотря на интеграцию с глагольной словоформой на супрасегментном уровне, такие наречия оказываются всё же автономными словоформами по синтаксическим критериям. Кроме того, в такой же предглагольной позиции могут помещаться и существительные, выражая значение образа действия. В статье демонстрируется, что перед нами - продуктивный процесс конверсии существительных в предглагольные наречия.

National audience; The electronic annotated corpus of Bamana texts consists of three components: an electronic dictionary, a morphological parser, and the analyzed texts. The article examines the organization of each of the components and the ways of resolving the difficulties arising before the working group.; Электронный глоссированный корпус текстов на языке бамана состоит из трёх компонентов: электронного словаря, программы-анализатора и проанализированных текстов. В статье рассматривается устройство каждого из этих компонентов и обосновываются пути решения трудностей, встающих перед рабочей группой.
