Изучен уровень хромосомных аномалий у больных клещевым эрлихиозом и боррелиозом у жителей севера Сибири. Показано, что особенно высокий уровень цитогенетических нарушений наблюдался в начальный период болезни. Большая часть наблюдаемых нарушений регистрировалась как гипоплоидные клетки и хроматидные разрывы. Полная нормализация кариотипа у больных наблюдалась через 1-6 месяцев после клинического выздоровления.

Применение акарицидов для обработки природных биотопов с целью уничтожения популяций иксодовых клещей продолжает оставаться необходимым направлением неспецифической профилактики опасных природноочаговых инфекций. Статья содержит краткое описание опыта применения инсектоакарицидных средств для противоклещевых обработок в природных биотопах в разных странах. Сообщаются результаты трехлетнего анкетирования 48 субъектов Российской Федерации, эндемичных по клещевому вирусному энцефалиту. Обсуждаются случаи неправомерного применения инсектоакарицидных и других средств для обработки объектов в некоторых субъектах страны. Даны рекомендации по соблюдению ротации средств на основе веществ с разным механизмом действия для противоклещевых обработок с целью предотвращения развития резистентности клещевых популяций. Среди инсектоакарицидных средств, разрешенных для применения на территории РФ, в настоящее время не выявлено средств с недостаточной эффективностью., The use of acaricides for the treatment of natural biotopes in order to eliminate populations of ixodid ticks continues to be a necessary direction of nonspecific prevention of dangerous natural-focal infec-tions. The article contains a brief description of the experience of using insecticoacaricidal agents for tick-borne treatments in natural biotopes in different countries. The results of a three-year survey of 48 subjects of the Russian Federation, endemic for tick-borne viral encephalitis, are reported. The cases of wrongful use of insectoacaricids and other means for treatment of objects in some regions of the country are discussed. Recommendations on rotation of means based on substances with different mechanisms of action for tick-borne treatments in order to prevent the development of tick-borne populations resistance are given. Автором изучена и проработана литература по инфекциям, вызванным укусами клещей. На основе изученной литературы описаны виды и группы клещей, участвующих в процессе переноса инфекционных болезней. Автором работы разработана программа элективного курса по биологии для 7 класса на тему "Клещевые инфекции", а также разработаны конспекты занятий по темам элективного курса "Клещевые инфекции".

Установлено, что природный очаг лихорадки Ку в Ростовской области относится к степному типу, поддержание природных и вторичных (хозяйственных) очагов обеспечивается в основном за счет Dermacentor marrinatus, Hyalomma marginatum, Ixodes ricinus. Обозначен список потенциальных носителей C. burnetii в фауне Ростовской области, в который входит более 30 видов млекопитающих. Подчеркнута роль птиц как доноров для переносчиков Coxiella burnetii и как участников в распространении возбудителя с паразитирующими на них клещами на большие расстояния. Приведены данные иммуносерологических обследований сельскохозяйственных животных. Проведен анализ заболеваемости лихорадкой Ку, выявлены иммунные лица в сельских районах и городах Ростовской области при отсутствии иммунопрофилактики коксиеллеза, что свидетельствует о циркуляции возбудителя среди населения, наличии вторичных (хозяйственных) очагов., It is found that the natural focus of Q fever in Rostov region is of a steppe type, the maintenance of natural and secondary (agricultural) foci is provided mainly due to Dermacentor marrinatus, Hyalomma marginatum, Ixodes ricinus. The paper gives a list of potential carriers of Coxiella burnetii in the fauna of Rostov region that includes more than 30 species of mammals. The paper stresses the contribution of birds as donors for carriers of Coxiella burnetii and their participation in the irradiation of the causative agent with parasitic ticks on them over long distances. The paper gives the results of the immunology and serology tests of farm livestock. The analysis of Q fever incidence is given; the immune individuals in the rural and urban areas of Rostov region are identified in the absence of Q fever immunoprophylaxis, which indicates the circulation of the causative agent among the population and the presence of secondary (agricultural) foci., №1(105) (2019)

Birds as the Feeders of Ticks (Acari, Ixodida) in Megalopolis of Kyiv. Nebogatkin, I. V. - Data about ticks parasitizing on birds in the city of Kyiv were summarized. 117 birds and 27 nests were examined. Ticks were found on six species collecting food on the ground level: Great Tit (Parus major), White Wagtail (Motacilla alba), Rook (Corvus frugilegus), blackbird (Turdus merula), and Nuthatch (Sitta europaea). 56 Ixodidae specimens of four species from two genera were collected from the birds and their nests: Ixodes ricinus (Linnaeus, 1758); I. arboricola Schulze et Schlottke, 1930; I. lividus (Koch, 1844), Haemaphysalis concinna Koch, 1844. Th e role of birds as feeders of all developmental stages of ticks not only increases under conditions of urban landscape, but also becomes leading in the places with low population of small mammals. Ectoparasites of birds of the other taxonomic groups along with the ticks can play an important role in maintaining the circulation of pathogens of various aetiologies in the urban landscapes.

Here, we present complete mitochondrial DNA sequence of Ixodes pavlovskyi Pom., 1946 for the first time. The mitogenome is 14,575 bp in length and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes and a control region. The overall base composition is 40.1% T, 13.8% C, 37.9% A and 8.1% G. Four protein-coding genes are initiated by ATT codon, three genes – by ATA codon and ATG start codon is found for six genes. Only tRNA-Lys, tRNA-Ile, tRNA-Arg are folded into the cloverleaf secondary structure, other tRNA have atypical structure with reduced T- or D-arms.
