This text responds to the conceptualisation of nineteenth-century Russian realism presented in separate chapters of the monograph Russian Realism of the 19th Century. Society, Knowledge, Narrative. The review examines the objectives set in the introductory article of the collection and their development in specific studies. The review evaluates the tendency to actualise the work done so far in understanding the concept of “realism”, to pay attention to it again, and combine the views of Russian researchers with the works of foreign scholars. The authors of individual articles of the collection manage to direct their attention to the chosen aspects of studying not only of specific literary works of realist writers of the nineteenth century, but also to those factors external to their creative activities which in many respects determined the themes, subjects, and value orientation of their works. The review also points out that, while comprehending some specific features and specific literary works, and realism as a universal phenomenon, the authors often pay attention to rather private issues. Assessing the work done and the tendency to compare the works of Russian writers with Western ones, it is stated that the authors of individual chapters are not always able to summarise the results of the research and point out exactly what is universal in realism, and what is typical of the Russian realism of the nineteenth century., В центре внимания данной рецензии находится концептуализация русского реализма XIX в., которая представлена в отдельных статьях научного сборника «Русский реализм XIX века. Общество, знание, повествование». Рассматриваются цели, поставленные во вводной статье сборника, и их разработка в конкретных исследованиях. Оценивается тенденция актуализировать уже проделанную работу в осмыслении понятия «реализм», вновь обратить на него должное внимание и совместить взгляды русских исследователей с работами зарубежных специалистов. Отмечается, что авторам отдельных статей сборника удается направлять внимание не только на выбранные аспекты изучения конкретных литературных произведений писателей-реалистов ХIX в., но и на те факторы, внешние по отношению к их творчеству, которые во многом определяли темы, сюжеты и ценностные ориентиры данных произведений. В рецензии также указывается на то, что, постигая некоторые специфические черты конкретных литературных произведений и реализма как универсального феномена, авторы сборника обращают внимание чаще всего на частные вопросы. Оценивая проделанную работу и тенденцию сравнивать произведения русских писателей с западноевропейскими, приходится констатировать, что авторам указанного сборника не всегда удается в должной мере обобщать достигаемые результаты исследований, указывать именно на то, что в реализме универсально, а что, к примеру, типично и характерно для русского реализма XIX в.

This article is situated in émigré studies and tries to reconstruct a possible conceptual framework and creative history of the Collection of Studies on Gogol, which was being prepared for publication in Sofia in the early 1930s.

The focus of the study is on the comic play of Edward Bulwer-Lytton, which became the object of the Russian writer's reflection in 1840s, firstly, as a reader and later as a creator.

The article investigates the nature of the influence of sentimental naturalism, or the "school of theyoung Dostoevsky" on the work of early Turgenev. The object of the study includes two texts - Dostoevsky's novel “Poor Folk”, the central novel in the Russian literature of the 1840s, and Turgenev's comedy “The Bachelor”.

The paper will explore Yurii M. Lotman's uses of the concept of a ternary system. It is born as a response to the limitations of the semiotic models based on binary oppositions. At the same time, binaries for Lotman are closely connected to Russia's cultural dynamic, and therefore, this seemingly “pure” theoretical concept appears heavily charged with political meanings.

Главы посвящены биографиям и сочинениям авторов, живших в этом регионе или посещавших его; способам изображения Урала в сочинениях путешественников; литературным традициям башкир, коми и удмуртов; инфраструктуре уральской литературной жизни (театры, библиотеки, издательское дело и т. п.). Задача представленной рецензии – вычленить из множества фактов, собранных авторами, главные тренды литературного развития и артикулировать их в терминах релевантных теоретических подходов. Ряд биографий уральских писателей обнаруживает с их помощью процесс постепенной автономизации литературного поля (Пьер Бурдьё). Путевая проза и репрезентации воображаемой географии Урала оказываются связаны с колонизацией и символическим присвоением этого региона Российской империей. Развитие литературных институций рассматривается как часть истории российской публичной сферы (Юрген Хабермас). Сложные взаимоотношения между литературными традициями колонизированных народов и русскими колонизаторами рассматриваются через постколониальное понятие гибридности (Хоми Баба). The review considers the two-volume collective monograph A History of Urals Literature. The Nineteenth Century, edited by Professor E. K. Sozina and published in 2020. This work aims to present a regional literary history that transcends the boundaries of a single national tradition and seeks to reconstruct the complex multicultural phenomenon of literary life in the nineteenth-century Urals. The volume’s chapters are dedicated to the life and works of authors who lived in the region or visited it, the ways the Urals has been represented in travel writings, the literary traditions of the Bashkirs, the Komi, and the Udmurts, and the institutional infrastructure of Urals literary life (theatres, libraries, publishing businesses, periodicals, and literary societies). The reviewer seeks to determine the main trends in the literary developments behind the multitude of facts gathered by the authors and to articulate these trends in terms of relevant theoretical approaches. A series of biographies spanning the whole century makes it possible to detect the gradual autonomization of the literary field (Pierre Bourdieu). Travelogues and representations of the imaginary geography of the Urals appear to have been connected to the colonization and symbolic appropriation of this region by the Russian Empire. The development of literary institutions is regarded as a part of the history of the Russian public sphere (Jürgen Habermas). The complex interactions between the literary traditions of colonized peoples and Russian colonizers are seen through the postcolonial concept of hybridity (Homi Bhabha). Despite certain drawbacks, the work under review makes it possible to see literary life of the nineteenth-century Russian Empire as a multinational, multiconfessional, and multilingual network of actors and texts beyond the boundaries of the Russian national canon.

В статье представлен текстуальный и контекстуальный анализ почти забытой книги Л. Толстого "Исследование догматического богословия". This view can be found even in his most viciously anti-Orthodox work, An examination of Dogmatic Theology, an almost forgotten book which is important for our understanding Tolstoi's attitude towards Orthodoxy. In this article, I focus on two points: his anthropology and his view on how we can understand God. I combine textual and contextual analysis, that is, a careful reading of this book with a reading of the theological treatises on which he based his criticism.

Gogol and M. A. Bulgakov. Absurd is interpreted by the author of the article from the content-formal positions: both as the absence of meaning (absurdity, nonsense), and as a form of transformation of meaning determined by the author's goal setting (carnivalization of utterance).

The article addresses one of the most important Goncharov's characters - Mark Volokhov from the novel The Precipice. It is argued that Goncharov deliberately created ambiguous image of the character, ironicallyforcing the negative superficial impression.

На примере пушкинского юбилея 1937 г. и гоголевского юбилея 1952 г. показан коммеморативный (апроприативный) механизм, обеспечивший присвоение советской культурой ряда ярких культурных деятелей предшествующего периода. Таким образом, знаковые деятели русской культуры XIX в. оказались знаковой частью новой советской культуры, элементом ее символического капитала. The article is devoted to the specifi cs of the use of commemorative practices in the Soviet culture of the 1930–1950s. Using the example of the Pushkin jubilee of 1937 and the Gogol jubilee of 1952, a commemorative (appropriative) mechanism is shown that ensured the appropriation of a number of outstanding cultural figures of the previous period by Soviet culture. Thus, the iconic figures of Russian culture of the 19th century turned out to be an iconic part of the new Soviet culture, an element of its symbolic capital.

This article is aimed at defining the terms "fantasy" and "fantastic elements" from the point of view of fiction and finding its application in relation to N. V. Gogol's works. The main attention is paid to fantastic elements,their classification, as well as the way they are used in the literary text.

The article proposes to correct the idea of the "Goncharov school" in Turgenev's practice and determine the boundaries and degree of influence of Goncharov's novel ideas on Turgenev's novels. It is shown that by the time of close ommunicationbetween the two writers in 1855, Turgenev was not disoriented as a novelist.

В статье рассматривается как бытовое время в календарной хронологии романа "Преступление и наказание" претворяется в качественное духовное бытие. Applying the method of Orthodox axeology, the present work tries to answer the following question: how the everyday time (chronos) in the calendar chronology of the novel "Crime and Punishment" is transformed into a qualitative spiritual being (kairos). The possibility of changing the ideological discourse in Dostoevsky's work frompagan to Christian through the influence of the hagiographic corps of Cheti Minei is studied. It is shown how the biographical texts, intended for reading on a specific date, coinciding with the calendar time from the development of the novel plot, influence the change of thoughts and actions of a given character and explain the inner meaning of the event.

Николая Греча «Черная женщина» (1834) в известной академической серии «Литературные памятники», подготовленное доктором филологических наук из Санкт-Петербурга Е. В. Маркасовой и снабженное обширным научным аппаратом. Этот аппарат включает в себя в качестве дополнений два текста 1830‑х гг., а в качестве приложений – две научные статьи, примечания к текстам, хронику жизни и деятельности Греча, библиографию и список иллюстраций. Результаты труда ученых (кроме Е. В. Маркасовой, над приложениями работали еще два специалиста) рецензент оценивает выше, чем художественное качество самого романа, страдающего недостатками, характерными для ранних образцов массовых жанров беллетристики. Замечания к статьям и примечаниям носят в основном частный характер, за одним исключением. По мнению рецензента, в статье уделено недостаточное внимание тому, чтобы готический роман Греча был вписан не только в жанровый, но и в более широкий эстетический контекст своей эпохи и соотнесен с другими феноменами романтической культуры. Несколько примечаний, затрагивающих вопросы художественных направлений, содержат наиболее спорные и противоречивые суждения. Review of: Gretch, N. I. (2020). Chernaya zhenshchina [The Black Woman] / ed. by E. V. Markasova. Moscow, Ladomir, Nauka. 668 p. The book under review is an edition of the novel The Black Woman (1834) by the nineteenth-century Russian writer Nikolai Gretsch, part of the academic series “Literary Monuments”. It was prepared for publication by E. V. Markasova: the edition is supported by an extensive scholarly apparatus, including two supplemental texts from the 1830s, two scholarly articles, notes on the text, a chronicle of Gretsch’s life and work, a bibliography, and a list of illustrations. The reviewer evaluates the scholarly work of Markasova and her colleagues higher than the artistic quality of the novel itself, which suffers from the imperfections characteristic of early experiments in popular fiction. The reviewer believes that the aesthetic context in which Gretsch’s Gothic novel is considered must include not only genre, but also the artistic movements of the epoch, especially Romanticism. The lack of attention to this issue leads to some doubtful and controversial assertions in the notes concerning literary trends in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. At the end of the review, the author comes to the conclusion that academic studies are currently experiencing heightened interest in the mystical and irrational in literature.

The article studies the character and the plot function of Porfiry Petrovich, one of the basic characters in F. Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment. The study aims to prove that he can be seen as the protagonist Rodion Raskolnikov's double in worldview only in the context of the Napoleonic idea.

The article focuses on the problem of the reception of Russian poetry translations in English-speaking culture. The object is Pushkin’s poem “The Winter Road”, translated into English in the period of 1885–2016. The subject is the particularities of conveying the content of the poem in English translations. The study materials are 12 translations of “The Winter Road”. The translations were carried out both by English and Russian native speakers. The main objective of the research is to see using the close reading method, what difficulties can be encountered by translators of Russian poetry. The tasks of the study were as follows: to describe the peculiarities of conveying the poem’s vocabulary, to outline the group of the key words, recognize and describe discrepancies in their translation, to analyze the process of adaptation of the poem in the English-speaking culture. The close reading method, the descriptive one, the componential one, the conceptual one, the contextual one, that of collocation were used in the course of the study. The study showed that at the lexical level, an insufficient knowledge of the source language and the translation of culture-specific vocabulary are main problems. The laconicism of Pushkin’s vocabulary allows translators to be the poet’s collaborators. A change in the landscape description in translations as compared to the original demonstrates the translator’s notions concerning Russia inherent in English-speaking culture. The “key words” of Russian culture are impossible to translate due to the culture difference. The translations reflect profound changes in culture that occurred during the 19th century. Due to the abundance and variety of texts slow reading of Pushkin’s translations can serve as an excellent training for translators.

This review examines Edyta M. Bojanowska’s new book on Ivan Goncharov’s voyage to Japan and his subsequent travelogue, The Frigate Pallada. In 1852, Goncharov set sail for Japan from St Petersburg in the hope of opening up the reclusive Asian nation for Russian trade. Along the way, he visited London, the Cape colony in South Africa, and numerous ports in Southeast Asia. After visiting China, Japan, and Korea, he landed in Ayan, from whence he travelled back to the imperial capital over land. The account he wrote about his experiences became an instant classic, although the lack of good translations means that it is virtually unknown in the English-speaking world. In her work, Bojanowska examines both The Frigate Pallada as a text and the history of Russia’s expedition to Japan. Strongly criticising the Soviet philological tradition which saw Goncharov’s work as an anti-colonial text, she argues that the famous Russian writer sought to justify the expansion of Russian and other European empires in Africa, Asia, and Siberia. Nonetheless, Goncharov’s book reflects peculiarly Russian traditions of understanding empire and colonialism: equally, she posits, his work does not (and cannot) present a cohesive system of thought, but a ‘kaleidoscopic’ series of impressions that sometimes contradict The Frigate Pallada’s general themes., В рецензии рассматривается новая книга Эдиты М. После посещения Китая, Японии и Кореи он высадился в селе Аян, откуда отправился в столицу империи по суше. Свои впечатления Гончаров описал в ставшем впоследствии классическим труде. Однако отсутствие качественных переводов на английский привело к тому, что эта книга была практически не известна в англоговорящем мире. В своей работе Божановска рассматривает «Фрегат Паллада» как текст и как историю российской экспедиции в Японию. Она критикует советскую филологическую традицию, воспринимавшую работу Гончарова как антиколониальный текст. Божановска полагает, что знаменитый русский писатель старался оправдать экспансию России и других европейских стран в Африку, Азию и Сибирь. Тем не менее, книга Гончарова отражает специфические русские традиции понимания империи и колониализма. В то же время автор заявляет, что книга Гончарова не представляет (и не может представлять) связной системы мысли, а является «калейдоскопической» серией впечатлений, которая иногда противоречит главным идеям этого труда.

В статье рассматриваются две редакции монографии А. Б. Дермана "Творческий портрет Чехова"., In the history of Russian chekhovian studies the works by A. B. Derman appear in two points of view that are not equally relevant today. Though Derman repeats the official interpretations of Chekhov'slegacy (for example in his critical biographical essay “A. P. Chekhov” (1939) and “Moscow in the life and work of A. P. Chekhov” (1948) and other newspaper and magazine articles, he is also the author of a curious hypothesis, with the help of which he tried to explain the dominants of Chekhov's poetics, as well as to give an exhaustive psychologicalportrait of the writer. Curious hypothesis was formulated in his monograph “The portrait of Chekhov's creativeness” and partly in its subsequently added alterations. The hypothesis lies in the idea of “disharmony”of Chekhov's character: the primacy of the rational part over the emotional one. Цветаевой "Ледяная тиара гор"., The article is devoted to the analysis of the role of archetypes and symbols in the formation of the text matrix based on the example of literary fairy tale texts united by a common story line under the conditional name “Girl and the Beast” and published by different authors at different times and in different languages, and also on the example of the poem by M. Tsvetaeva “The Ice Tiara of the Mountains”. In particular, two well-known texts of fairy tales are compared: “The Scarlet Flower” by S. T. Aksakova - the eastern version of the plot - and “Beauty and the Beast” by Jeanne-Marie Le Prens de Beaumont - the western version of the plot. The symbolic poem by M. На материале малой прозы И. С. Тургенева («Сон», «Песнь торжествующей любви», «Клара Милич») и В. О. Пелевина («Спи», «Синий фонарь», «Созерцатель тени») рассматривается проблема трансформации концепции и способов воплощения сновидческих состояний, анализируются изменения функции сна и сновидений в классической и постклассической литературе. В классической литературе под онейрическим текстом понимается словесное изложение сновидения персонажей или автора в художественном произведении. В таинственных рассказах и повестях И. С. Тургенева мы имеем дело с вербальным воссозданием сна как пограничного состояния героя, прикосновения к инобытию, как способа погружения в иррациональную область человеческой психики. Онейропоэтика и фантастика в поздних произведениях Тургенева направлены на открытие непознанного в человеческой психике и связаны с вечными проблемами любви и смерти, поиском истины, обретением целостности художественно-философского мира. В эпоху постмодерна сны становятся одним из наиболее распространенных способов конструирования текста и служат передаче представления о тотальной виртуализации реальности. Современный автор не ставит задачу описывать сны, он создает текст по логике сна. Между тем художественной рефлексии в рассказах Пелевина подвергаются те же вечные вопросы, что и в классической литературе: истина и ложь, добро и зло, поиск смысла жизни, свобода и вера. Диалог писателя-постмодерниста с классиком строится на понимании нераздельности чувственного и сверхчувственного, противоречия между которыми могут быть сняты в акте художественного исследования тайн человеческой психики. Писатель рубежной эпохи говорит с современниками о человеческом сознании, попавшем в ловушку, потому что практических методов «снятия оков разума» не существует, но остается способность к трансценденции, к самореализации в творимых сознанием мирах. Сновидения у В. О. Пелевина зачастую становятся формой проявления эзотерического сознания и мистического откровения., Based on the material of short prose by I. S. Turgenev (“The Dream”, “The Song of Triumphant Love”, “Klara Milich”) and V. O. Pelevin (“Go to Sleep”, “The Blue Lantern”, “The Contemplator of the Shadow”), the article deals with the problem of transformation of conception and the ways of implementation of dream states. It also analyzes the change in the function of sleep and dreams in classical and post-classical literature. In classical literature, oneiric text is defined as a verbal presentation of a dream of a character or the author in a work of fiction. In mystery short stories and novellas by Turgenev, we are dealing with the verbal recreation of sleep as a borderline state of the character, as an experience of a different kind of existence, and as a way of immersion in the irrational region of the human psyche. Turgenev’s oneiropoetics and science fiction are aimed at discovering the unknown in the human psyche and are associated with the eternal problems of love and death, search for the truth, and the achievement of integrity of the artistic-philosophical world. In the postmodern era, dreams become one of the most common ways of text constructing and serve to convey the idea of total virtualization of reality. The modern author does not set the task to describe dreams; they create a text according to the logic of the dream. Meanwhile, the same eternal questions as in classical literature are subject to artistic reflection in Pelevin’s stories: the truth and lies, the good and the evil, the search for the meaning of life, freedom, and belief in God. The dialogue between the postmodern writer and the classic is based on the idea of inseparability of the sensuous and the supersensuous, the contradictions between which can be removed in an act of artistic study of the secrets of the human psyche. The writer of the epoch-making era speaks with contemporaries about the human consciousness that has fallen into the trap, because there are no practical methods for “lifting the shackles of the mind”, but the chances for transcendence and self-realization in consciousness-created worlds still remain. The article is the first attempt to consider the plot-forming functions of the mythologeme of Dionysus in “Lucerne” by L. N. Tolstoy. The interpretation of semantic imagery contexts of the Dionysian mystery in the story is based on the methodological principles of mythopoetic, structural-semantic, and systemic-functional text analysis.

В статье рассматривается пример того, как разнородные очерки, написанные и опубликованные на страницах газет и журналов в разное время, благодаря воле автора обретают вторую жизнь под одной обложкой, получая статус структурно-семантического единства. Researchers of the specificity of the literary-critical path of I. F. Annensky have revealed the common features of his articles and critical essays, and have outlined his commitment to art criticism of O. Wilde. However, there is no comprehensive view of the poetics and semantics of the texts, of the “Book of Reflections” in particular, as the only and most complete collection of critical texts in order to identify the tradition that is consistent with modern literary criticism. The first and the second books are examples of how disconnected essays, written and published on the pages of newspapers and magazines at different times, thanks to the author's will, gain a second life under one cover, getting the status of structural and semantic unity. A review of the key ideas in each of the two-volume collection of texts will give an idea of the unity of motives or semantic fields. They, in turn, provide integrity on the level of content. The article discusses the definitions of the genre and method of the book voiced in journalism and literary criticism of the early 20th century.ю

Впервые «Капитанская дочка» А. С. Пушкина рассмотрена в контексте идейного и творческого диалога с А. Н. Радищевым и Н. М. Карамзиным. Объектом научного внимания стала последняя глава пушкинского романа («Суд»), в которой подведены итоги многолетнего спора с великими предшественниками. В исследовании выдвинута гипотеза о том, что жанр пушкинского романа восходит к жанру «поучения царям». В «Капитанской дочке» обнаруживается связь с текстами, непосредственно адресованными к власти, – книгой А. Н. Радищева «Путешествие из Петербурга в Москву», а также «Запиской о древней и новой России в ее политическом и гражданском отношениях» и «Манифестом» Н. М. Карамзина. Если в «Путешествии из Петербурга в Москву» изображен путь от «Софии» к «Черной грязи», то в «Капитанской дочке» станция София станет последним пунктом скитаний Маши Мироновой, т. е. Пушкин развернет не только пространственный, но и смысловой вектор своего произведения. Осознавая обреченность радищевской позиции, поэт идет вслед за Карамзиным и создает образец программы государственного правления. Через образ Екатерины II Пушкин обращается к Николаю I, напоминая последнему о важнейших принципах царствования и воскрешая тем самым «Манифест» Н. М. Карамзина. В романе идейные позиции Карамзина и Радищева не столько противопоставлены, сколько сопоставлены друг с другом, поскольку для Пушкина важно обозначить и примирить между собой два противоположных полюса русской истории и культуры. На многочисленных примерах автор исследования показывает, что в финале «Капитанской дочки» присутствуют исторические аллюзии, отсылающие читателя к трагическим эпизодам истории государства Российского, – аресту и суду над Радищевым и казни декабристов 13 июля 1826 г. Эти два исторических события тесно переплетены с автобиографическим сюжетом, неотделимым от судеб Радищева и Карамзина., The novel “The Captain’s Daughter” by A. S. Pushkin is analyzed in the context of ideological and creative dialogue with A. N. Radishchev and N. M. Karamzin. The last chapter of the novel (‘Judgment’), in which the yearlong dispute with Pushkin’s forerunners is summarized, has become an object of scholarly investigation in this study. A hypothesis is posed that Pushkin’s novel goes back to the ‘teaching for king Merykara’genre. “The Captain’s Daughter” has associations with the texts directly addressed to the authorities – the novel “A Journey from St Petersburg to Moscow” by Radishchev and “A Note on Ancient and Modern Russia in its Political and Civic Respects” and “The Manifesto” by Karamzin. A trip from ‘Sophia’to ‘Chernaya gryaz’is depicted in “A Journey from St Petersburg to Moscow”, and Sophia station becomes the last point of Masha Mironova’s odyssey in “The Captain’s Daughter”. Thus Pushkin unfolds a spatial as well as a semantic vector in his work. Foreseeing the doom of Radishchev’s poetry, the poet follows the example of Karamsin and outlines a program of state governance. Pushkin addresses Nicolas I through the image of Catherin II, reminding the former about the most important principles of monarchy, hereby reviving “The Manifesto” by Karamsin. The ideological positions of Radishchev and Karamsin are compared rather than opposed to each other in the novel, because Pushkin considers it important to mark and bring together the two poles of Russian history and culture. On the basis of numerous examples, the author of the study shows that the finale of “The Captain’s Daughter” contains historical allusions, which refer the readers to the tragic episodes in the history of the Russian state – the arrest and trial of Radishchev and the execution of Decembrists on July 13, 1826. The main subject of study in this article is the internal conflict of the tragedy of A. S. Push­kin "Mozart and Salieri". The object of the study is the rhythmic composition of the text in a broad sense, including the alternation of replicas of the main actors and the so-called "musical replicas" introduced by the author's remarks. They are considered in the historical and cultural context of the rhetorical tradition, the oblivion of which inevitably led to the subsequent "recoding" of the semantic constants of the text of the tragedy. The paper questions the stereotype of Mozart as a protagonist and Salieri as an antagonist in the development of a tragic conflict. В статье рассматривается ритмическая композиция трагедии А. С. Пушкина "Моцарт и Сальери" в широком смысле, включающая чередование реплик главных действующих лиц и так называемых "музыкальных реплик", введенных авторскими ремарками.

Статья посвящена воздействию романа Л. Н. Толстого "Война и мир" на историческую память о войне 1812 года. Автор статьи констатирует своеобразие общественной ситуации в России в начале 60-х гг. XIX в., что предопределило не только перелом в отношении к событиям 1812 г., но и обусловило сам факт появления романа Л. Н. Толстого. В статье на ряде примеров показано своеобразие отношения Л. Н. Толстого к работе с историческими источниками и отмечаются как достоинства толстовского метода, так и его значительные изъяны., The article is devoted to the influence of Leo Tolstoy's novel "War and peace" on the historical memory of the war of 1812. The author of the article States the pecu-liarity of the social situation in Russia in the early 60s of the XIX century, which predetermined not only a certain turning point in relation to the events of 1812, but also caused the very fact of the appearance of the novel by Leo Tolstoy. In the article on a number of examples the originality of L. N. Тургенева., The article presents the experience of developing a computerized text authorization model and its adaptation to the needs of identification and diagnostic authoring expertise of Russian texts. The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the possibilities of identification authoring expert examination of texts through automatic text processing based on the integrated application of probabilistic-statistical methods. The article describes one more stage of testing an improved version of the CAT program (computerized text authorization) - an experiment to determine the relative frequencies of the ratio of certain linguistic elements (calculation of correlation coefficients) in several samples of compared texts using a set of different-level parameters - B. N. Golovin's coefficients, supplemented by the text clarity indexes existing in scientific prac-tice and applied field ("Flesch-Kincaid Index", "FOG-Index") and a number of other parameters.
