С помощью метафор сложные мероприятия и задачи государственного уровня описываются наглядно, образно и доступно для аудитории. Статья посвящена исследованию переводческой адаптации политической метафоры на материале перевода на русский язык доклада Си Цзиньпина по случаю XX съезда КПК. This paper studies translation adaptation of political metaphors based on the material of the Russian translation of the Report to the 20th CPC National Congress (hereinafter referred to as “the Report”). The aim of the study is to demonstrate the importance of translation adaptation while translating political metaphors, as well as to reveal the translation strategy of translating political metaphors into Russian and the communicative intentions of the Chinese government realized through it.

The article considers the translations of W. Thackeray’s parody Yellowplush Papers published in the journal Biblioteka dlya Chtenia (The Reader’s Library) in 1854 and 1860 as an example of intertextual interaction between the original and the translated texts. The parody was written in the genre of silver-fork novel, which was rather popular in the English literature of the 1820s and 1830s.The genre was of interest for both Russian writers and translators at different stages of literary development (secular novellas of the 1820s and 1830s, translations of certain Western fashionable novels of the 1850s and 1860s and the Russian fashionable novel of the 1870–1880s). Thus, the translations of Thackeray’s parody under analysis can be treated as a certain stage of development of the given genre in the Russian culture. The analysis of some fragments has revealed the attempts of the Russian translators, on the one hand, to render the artistic peculiarities of Thackeray’s parody to Russian readers, including its intertextuality, which was achieved in different ways (by using colloquialisms, translating the author’s references to foreign culture realities, rendering the author’s irony, and using techniques similar to the original ones). On the other hand, the translators’ desire to ‘incorporate’ the text into Russian literature is quite obvious for them. They try to make the text understandable for the Russian readers, which is evident due to numerous allusions to the texts of the Russian culture, reduction of specific fragments, inclusion of translator’s remarks, and interpretation of the parody finale. The translators targeted both the existing parody samples of Russian literature and the unique specificity of the original. Evidently, these translation techniques met the readers’ expectations and corresponded to the requirements of the Russian translation culture. Thus, the question asked in the title is impossible to be answered unambiguously. The elements of parody are closely connected with both the cultural traditions of the source language and with the references to fashionable novel which was accepted by the popular literature and was not developed in the Russian culture of the 19th century. So the works of this genre, to say nothing of its parodies, could not be rendered without losses into a target language.

The article deals with the fundamental problem of ensuring the linguistic security of translation discourse as a factor of social security. The authors consider the concept of linguistic security as responsible speech behavior which is of particular importance in the aspect of translation. This study analyzes the specific features of the translation of socio-political texts from the point of view of the conflictogenety of the target text and the ways to prevent it. It also considers the relationship between linguistic ecology and media linguistics in the light of practical translation and translation studies. The main purpose of the study is to prevent and eliminate conflict potential in the translation of a socio-political text.

В статье рассматриваются особенности перевода политических речей государственных лидеров с китайского на русский язык. Материалом исследования выступил оригинал и текст перевода речи Си Цзиньпина на торжественном собрании по случаю 100-летия со дня основания КПК. The article looks at translation as a process of translator's mental activity. Based on the main ideas of the cognitive and interpretive theories, the author considers the specific features of translations of political speeches of state leaders from Chinese into Russian. The original and the Russian translation of the text of Xi Jinping's speech at the ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the CPC make up practical material of research.

В статье рассматривается текст перевода пьесы Габриэле д'Аннунцио "Франческа да Римини" на русский язык, являющийся совместным трудом двух поэтов - Валерия Брюсова и Вячеслава Иванова. The article discusses the text of the translation of the play by Gabriele d'Annunzio "Francesca da Rimini" into Russian, which is a joint work of two poets of the Silver Age - Valery Bryusov and Vyacheslav Ivanov. The purpose of this study is to reveal the peculiarities of the translation strategies of the two authors regarding the intertextual relations of the original text.

В статье рассматривается содержание концепта "дружба" как ключевого в сказке братьев Гримм "Бременские музыканты". Также описываются языковые средства репрезентации концепта "дружба" в оригинале и переводе сказки. The article examines the process of interpretation of the fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm “Bremen Town Musicians” in the original and in translation in an intercultural aspect. It is noted that the process of text interpretation presupposes the study of the concepts verbalized in the work. The authors suggest linguistic tools for determining the content of the concept of “Friendship” as a key one in the fairy tale “Bremen Town Musicians”, as well as a description of the linguistic means of representation of the concept of “Friendship” in the original German-language text and the text of the fairy tale translation.

Рассматриваются современные вопросы типологии электронных учебных изданий, диктуемые непрерывно развивающимися информационными технологиями. Работа посвящена определению основных типологических критериев современных электронных учебных изданий для высшей школы России и содержит ряд выводов, представляющих практический интерес. Они обосновывают необходимость изменения системы современной стандартизации в сфере электронного книгоиздания и возможность применения экспериментальной типологической модели при каталогизации вузовских ЭБС.
