- Abstract
Background. The role of microelements in the life of plants is great. Their quickly assimilated forms (chelates) are in demand for improving fertilizers and replenishing their deficiency in plants. Purpose. Study of solubility in the C10H12N2O8Na4-CuSO4-H2O system to obtain a copper-containing chelate complex with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Methodology. Study of phase equilibria in systems was carried out by visual-polythermal solubility method. Originality. Solubility of C10H12CuN2Na2O8 in the C10H12N2O8Na4-CuSO4-H2O system was studied. Formation of a new compound was established. Findings. Freezing temperatures (-19.6) to 500C were studied for the initial components under polythermal conditions. Polythermal solubility diagram was constructed, indicating the crystallization fields of the compounds. Three triple nodal points of the system corresponding to the joint crystallization of the phases are established. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
