Prikaz uloge odnosa s javnošću u oblikovanju imidža poznatih osoba glavni je cilj ovog završnog rada, a to se postiže detaljnim objašnjenjima aktivnosti i taktika odnosa s javnošću. Definiraju se odnosi s javnošću kroz razne definicije stručnjaka za PR te se detaljno objašnjavaju svi elementi te funkcije. Marketing i upravljanje robnom markom teorijski se određuju te se diskutira o njihovoj važnosti za kvalitetne odnose s javnošću, pogotovo kod celebrity PR-a. Poimanje identiteta i imidža također je prisutno u radu, i to kao bitan element za bolje razumijevanje rada odnosa s javnošću. U radu se prikazuje fenomen industrije poznatih osoba, kao i sve važne aktivnosti za postizanje željenog imidža poznate osobe, ali i načini dolaska do željene slike. Naposljetku, kroz dva se primjera poznatih osoba iz glazbene i televizijske industrije prikazuju njihovi koraci do uspješne izgradnje imidža korištenjem odnosa s javnošću. The main purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate the role of public relations in the formation of a public image of celebrities, which is achieved through detailed explanations of the activities and strategies of public relations. Public relations are defined through various definitions proposed by the PR experts, and the explanations are given on all of the elements of that function. Marketing and branding are theoretically defined while their importance for high-quality public relations is also discussed, especially concerning celebrity PR. The notion of identity and image is also present in the thesis as an important element of understanding how public relations function. The thesis depicts the phenomenon of the celebrity industry, as well as the activities relevant for the acquirement of a desired public image of a celebrity and the means to achieve a certain image. Lastly, two examples of celebrities from the music industry and the television industry are meant to demonstrate the steps these celebrities took to reach the successful development of a public image using public relations.

Djeca s cerebralnom paralizom imaju pravo na odgojno-obrazovnu integraciju. Integracija je proces kojim se djeca s posebnim potrebama uključuju u redoviti sustav obrazovanja. Proces se u Republici Hrvatskoj provodi još od 1981. godine. Integracija može biti potpuna (uključivanje učenika s lakšim teškoćama u razredni odjel redovne škole) i djelomična (provodi se u tri modela: uključivanje učenika s poteškoćama u razvoju u redovnu školu tako da učenik dio nastavnog programa savladava u redovnom razrednom odjelu, a dio nastavnog programa u posebnim odgojno-obrazovnim skupinama uz edukacijskog rehabilitatora; učenik cjelokupni obrazovni program svladava u posebnim odgojno-obrazovnim skupinama uz edukacijskog rehabilitatora, uz integriranje samo u izbornom programu ili u programu slobodnih aktivnosti s drugim učenicima; učenik svladava cijeli obrazovni program u posebnim skupinama uz produženi stručni postupak). Za djecu s cerebralnom paralizom kao primjereni oblik školovanja ističe se redoviti nastavni program s individualiziranim postupcima uz produženi stručni postupak; redoviti nastavni program s individualiziranim postupcima i posebnom dodatnom pomoći edukacijsko-rehabilitacijskog stručnjaka uz produženi stručni postupak; prilagođeni nastavni program s individualiziranim postupcima uz produženi stručni postupak te posebni nastavni program uz produženi stručni postupak. Odgojno-obrazovna integracija podrazumijeva i integraciju djece s cerebralnom paralizom u nastavu Tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture. Prednosti integracije u tu nastavu za djecu s cerebralnom paralizom su psihološke (poboljšanje samopoštovanja i doživljaja vlastita tijela, uživanje i osjećaj slobode), socijalne (biti dio grupe, razvijati odnose i socijalne vještine) te tjelesne (poboljšanje pokretljivosti, pozitivan utjecaj na morfološko, motoričko i mišićno stanje). Učenik s cerebralnom paralizom može sudjelovati u aktivnostima kojima se bave drugi učenici, a ponekad će dio nastavnog sata izvoditi individualne vježbe koje je učitelj posebno prilagodio za njega i kojima potiče njegovu pokretljivost., Children with cerebral palsy are eligible for educational integration. Integration is the process in which children with special needs are included in the regular education system. The process is carried out in Croatia since 1981. Integration can be complete (involving students with mild disabilities in regular school class) and partial (carried out in three models: the inclusion of students with disabilities in regular schools so that the student overcomes part of the curriculum placed in the regular classroom, and the curriculum in special educational groups with educational rehabilitators, student entire educational program overcomes in special educational groups with educational rehabilitators, integrating only in the election program or in the program of free activities with other students; student overcomes the entire educational program in special populations with prolonged expert procedure). For children with cerebral palsy as an appropriate form of schooling emphasizes the regular curriculum with individualized procedures with extended professional procedure; regular curriculum with individualized procedures and a separate additional help education and rehabilitation experts with extended professional procedure; adapted curriculum with individualized procedures with extended professional treatment and special curriculum with extended professional procedure. Educational integration also means that the integration of children with cerebral palsy are included in physical education. The advantages of integration for children with cerebral palsy in pysical education are psychological (improve self-esteem and the experience of own body, enjoy a sense of freedom), social (to be part of the group, developing relationships and social skills) and physical (improving mobility, positive impact on the morphological, motor and muscle condition). The student with cerebral palsy can participate in pysical education activities with other students, and sometimes he participates part of in individual exercises that the teacher is particularly adapted to his needs and which encourages his mobility.

6. Volatiles of Helichrysum italicum (Roth) G. Don from Croatia

- Abstract
Helichrysum italicum (Roth) G. Don is a flowering plant of the family Asteraceae. It is rich in oil that is used for different medicinal purposes and in fragrance industry. Volatile profile of four populations of H. italicum, collected from natural habitat in Dalmatia (Croatia), was analysed by capillary GC–MS. Sample from BraČ Island had α-trans-bergamotene (10.2%) and β-acoradiene (10.1%) as the majors, whereas sample collected on Biokovo Mt. was rich in neryl acetate (8.1%). β-Acoradiene was also the main constituent of sample collected near Tijarica, whereas rosifoliol (8.5%) was the most abundant constituent in sample collected near Makarska. Presented results show the influence of environmental conditions on chemical differentiation of the volatiles of H. italicum from Croatia.

The pollen type appeared in most samples (92%) were arboreal species Robinia pseudoaccacia L. which is non-native to the investigated region. This invasive species spread rapidly, and it's unifloral honey is described for the very first time in this region.

The aim of present work is to provide the data on genome size and chromosome number of those two species, and to identify volatile constituents from the wild growing plants. 2C DNA values for both species and analysis of content and chemical composition of the essential oil of S. brachyodon Vandas of Croatian origin have not been reported to date.

In the present study we report new flow cytometric dana on genome size in fifty species (frequently with many populations of each) from Balkan flora. The following genera were represented: Acer L., Centaurea L., Iris L., Juniperus L., Leontodon L., Lilium L., Pinus L., Reichardia Roth, Rhamnus L. Although this flora, and especially that from Central Dinaric Alps, is very rich in endemic species, unfortunately it has never been studied with respect to 2C DNA values. This parameter gives an early indicator of polyploid series, of instabilities linked to aneuploidy, hybridisation and finally speciation in a complex of related species. These cytometric analyses also included an estimation of base composition for many species, using Godelle's simple fluorometric method. This work is part of a larger project on study of biodiversity and protection of plant genetic resources of the Balkan region.

14. Karyotypes of Allium senescens L. ssp. montanum (Fries) Holub populations from the Mt. Biokovo region

The karyotypes of three Allium senescens ssp. montanum (Fries) Holub populations from the Mt Biokovo region were investigated. This species has been poorly cytogenetically analysed, and with respect to Croatian populations such investigations have never been carried out. The chromosome number, morphology and distribution of heterochromatin were investigated. The number, position and activity of nucleolar organising regions (NORs) were also analysed. In all three populations, only plants with a tetraploid (2n = 4x = 32) chromosome complement were found. The chromosome complement consisted of seven groups of four metacentric and one group of four submetacentric chromosomes bearing the satellite on the short arm. Chromosomes exhibit four types of Giemsa C-bands: telomeric, intercalary, centromeric bands and those located on satellites. Eight chromosomes with the characteristic banding pattern were distinguished. Silver staining revealed a maximum of four nucleoli that corresponded to the maximum number of active NORs (Ag-NORs) located terminally on the short arm of four submetacentric chromosomes. The results obtained suggest that A. senescens ssp. montanum from the Mt Biokovo region is an autotetraploid species.

- Abstract
Istraživane su značajke kariotipova biokovskih populacija luka Allium senescens ssp. montanum (Fries) Holub koji pripada podrodu Rhizirideum, sekciji Rhizirideum, a rasprostranjen je u vrlo širokom području srednje i južne Europe. Ta vrsta luka, iako pripada jednom od najvarabilnijih podrodova, vrlo je slabo citogenetički istražena, a s populacijama na području Hrvatske takva istraživanja nisu rađena. Citogenetičko istraživanje ove vrste dodatno je bilo potaknuto otkrićem morfološki vrlo sličnog luka opisanog pod imenom Allium incensiodorum. Citogenetičko istraživanje provedeno je u svrhu određivanja broja i morfologije kromosoma, te utvrđivanja kromosoma biljega korisnih za buduće istraživanje ovih dviju moguće zasebnih vrsta na razini kromosoma. Izvršeno je morfometrijsko mjerenje kromosoma, a tehnikama Giemsa C-pruganja i bojanja kromosoma fluorescencijskim bojama utvrđen je raspored heterokromatina duž kromosmoa, te pobliže određene biokemijske značajke heterokromatina. Također je analiziran broj, položaj i aktivnost područja nukleolarnih organizatora (NOR) bojanjem srebrnim nitratom. Utvrđeno je da je istraživani luk imao 32 metacentrična i submetacentrična kromosoma. Četiri submetacentrična kromosoma na kraćem kraku nose satelite. Giemsa C-pruganjem utvrđena su tri tipa C-pruga: telomerne, interkalanr i pruge u području NOR-ova. Na temelju broja i položaja C-pruga izdvojeno je osam grupa po četiri homologna kromosoma. Bojanjem s kromomicinom A3 (CMA) dobiveni su CMA-pozitivni signali u području telomera te NOR-ova. Bojanjem srebrnim nitratom utvrđeno je da maksimalan broj jezgrica odgovara maksimalnom broju aktivnih NOR-ova smještenih telomerno na kraćem kraku četiri submetacentrična kromosoma. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju da bi biokovske populacije luka A. senescens ssp. montanum mogle predstavljati autotetraploidnu vrstu, 2n=4x=32.

17. Vaskularna flora naselja Kaštelanskog zaljeva

Tijekom 1997. i 1998. godine intenzivno je istraživana vaskularna flora naselja Kaštelanskog zaljeva. Istraživao je područje od Kaštel Sućurca na jugoistoku do Divulja na sjeverozapadu. U vertikalnom profilu obuhvaćeno je područje od zone prskanja morskih valova do nadmorske visine oko 150 m. Temeljem literaturnih podataka i na osnovi vlastitih istraživanja na tom je području utvrđeno 563 vrste i nižih svojti vaskularnih biljaka. Analiza vrsta pokazala je nazočnost indikatora kako primarnih ekosustava, tako i elemenata degradacijskih oblika vegetacije. Prikazani rezultati se još uvijek mogu smatrati preliminarnim, obzirom na relativno veliko područje i različite tipove, poglavito ruderalne vegetacije.

The research of the Biokovo area has so far shown its original and distinctive characteristics and abundance of both biological and geographical diversities, important for the Republic of Croatia. The field work showed: 1) degradation of natural heritage of this area because of the domination of some particular and short-term interests in so far protected parts of the Biokovo Mts. and 2) tha fact that some important parts of the nature beneath the Biokovo Mts., which have so far not been protected by the Nature Protection Low, should be protected as soon as possible and complete protection of the nature of the Biokova Mts.: of the populations of associations and acosystems from the sea-floor to the highest peak on the Croatian coast (St. George, 1762 m above s.l.) because soon it could be to late.

Luk Allium commutatum Guss. karakteristična je vrsta centralno-istočnog Sredozemlja koja zauzima otvorena staništa u blizini mora i to uglavnom na malim otocima. U Hrvatskoj, ova je vrsta rasprostranjena na otocima ali i obalnom području. Istraživanje kariotipa provedeno je na populaciji s otoka Palagruže primjenom klasičnih tehnika bojenja Feulgenom i Giemsom, tehnikom Giemsa C-pruganja, bojenjem fluorescencijskim bojama te srebro-nitratom. Utvrđeno je da vrsta A. commutatum ima diploidan broj kromosoma 2n=2x=16. Kromsomski komplement čini šest metacentričnih parova kromosoma, jedan submetacentrični par sa sekundarnim suženjem i akrocentrični par kromosoma sa satelitom. Veličina kromosoma iznosi od 14,15-9,28 mm. Giemsa C-pruganjem utvrđena su četiri tipa C-pruga: centromerne - nalaze se na svim kromsomima, interkalarne - nalaze se na šetom paru i u području sekundarnog suženja osmog para kromosoma, pericentrična - nalazi se u području sekundarnog suženja sedmog para kromosoma, te telomerne - nalaze se na oba kraka prvog, drugog i četvrtog kromosomskog para te kraćem kraku trećeg i satelitu osmog kromosomskog para. Primjenom chromomycin A3 (CMA)/DAPI dvostrukog bojenja kromosoma dobiveni su CMA pozitivni, odnosno DAPI negativni signali u području sekunarnih suženja sedmog i osmog para kromosoma, što ukazuje da se radi o području nukleolarnih organizatora (NOR). Interkalarna C-pruga šestog para kromosoma je DAPI pozitivna. NOR-specifično bojenje sa srebro-nitratom pokazalo je da se nukleolarni organizatori nalaze u području sekundarnih suženja sedmog i osmog para kromosoma. Broj aktivnih NOR-ova varirao je između stanica jedne jedinke od 1-4 što se podudaralo s brojem jezgrica u interfaznim jezgrama. Tijek mejoze analiziran u matičnim stanicama peluda bio je pravilan što ukazuje na visok stupanj homozigotnosti kromosoma istraživane populacije. Dobiveni rezultati poslužit će za daljnje usporedne analize drugih populacija ove vrste kao i srodnih vrsta ovog dijela Sredozemlja.

20. B-chromosomes in the population of Allium pallens ssp. tenuiflorum from the region of Makarska

U populaciji blijedog luka Allium pallens ssp. tenuiflorum analizirani su standardni parametri kariotipa (broj kromosoma, apsolutna i relativna duljina kromosoma, omjer krakova i pozicija regija nukleolarnog organizatora (NORa. Istraživana je i slučajna pojava B kromosoma u nekih jedinki te populacije. 24 jedinke iz populacije blijedog luka Allium pallens ssp. tenuiflorum s područja Makarske citogenetski su istraživane. Somatski kromosomi su analizirani primjenom Feulgen tehnike i tehnike bojenja srebrenim nitratom. Za analizu mejoze matične stanice peluda obojene su 2 % orceinom. U svih analiziranih jedinki pronađen je diploidni broj kromosoma (2n=2x=16). U četiri biljke ustanovljen je dodatni B kromosom (2n=2x=16+1B). Kariotip se sastojao od 8 parova metacentričnih kromosoma čija je veličina bila između 4, 15 i 7, 43 mikrometara. Četiri NORa su identificirana na četvrtom i petom kromosomskom paru. Morfologija i broj B kromosoma bili su jedinstveni u svih analiziranih biljaka: duljima im je iznosila 2 mikrometra i imali su terminalno smještenu centromeru.U mejozi je uočeno normalno formiranje 8 bivalenat dok je B kromosom ostajao nesparen. Istraživana populacija blijedog luka A. pallens ssp. tenuiflorum je posjedovala stabilan diploidni kromosomski broj (2n=2x=16) i prilično simetričan kariotip.Vrsta ima normalnu mejozu te se razmnožava spolno.B kromosom koji je bio pronađen u nekoliko jedinki monofiletskog je podrijetla, mitotski stabilan te ne pokazuje efekat akumulacije.

Background and purpose. Regarding to the fact that most of the Mediterranean species in subg. Allium, sect. Allium, which Allium commutatum belongs, have very similar karyomorphological characteristics, it is very difficult to obtain taxonomic and phylogenetic relationships by convenient karyotype analysis. The aim of this study was to establish the karyotype of A. commutatum according to the distribution and characteristics of heterochromatin. Materials and methods. Plants from Palagruža island were used for karyomorphological analysis. For standard karyotype analysis as well as meiotic events in pollen mother cells, chromosomes were stained with 2% acetokarmine, while for heterochromatic banding pattern two Giemsa C-banding techniques were used. For determination of NOR position staining with chromomycin A3 (CMA) and DAPI were used, while silver staining was applied for NOR activity analysis. Results and conclusions. Investigated plants of A. commutatum have diploid chromosome complement 2n=2x=16 metacentric, submetacentric and subtelocentric chromosomes with secondary constrictions located proximal to the centromere of one submetacentric pair and median in short arm of subtelocentric pair. Giemsa C-banding technique revealed centromeric, telomeric, intercalary and secondary constriction C-bands. Staining with CMA revealed CMA-positive bands in secondary constrictions of both VII and VIII chromosome pairs that correspond with DAPI-negative bands. Silver staining confirmed that secondary constrictions represent a position of active nucleolar organizing regions (NORs). On the base of our investigations three chromosomes (VI, VII and VIII) could be distinguished as marker chromosomes that could help in determination of relationships in inter- and intraspecific level.

Diploid chromosome number 2n=2x=16 was found in all 24 individuals belonging to one population collected from the natural habit in Makarska. In addition, four individuals carried a single supernumerary B-chromosome (2n=2x=16 + 1B). Plants were fertile, and had 8 bivalents with unpaired B-chromosome.

In this paper one population of A. neapolitanum from Makarska (Croatia) was investigated karyologically by a conventional staining method. To better understand the process of sexual reproduction in this polyploid species we analyzed chromosome pairing and meiotic irregularities in the prophase of meiosis in pollen mother cells. Data on pollen fertility, pollen mitosis and percentage of seed germination were presented. Estimation of sexual reproduction efficiency and its significance for karyotype evolution were discussed.

- Abstract
Helichrysum italicum (Roth) G. Don is a flowering plant of the family Asteraceae. It is rich in oil that is used for different medicinal purposes and in fragrance industry. Volatile profile of four populations of H. italicum, collected from natural habitat in Dalmatia (Croatia), was analysed by capillary GC–MS. Sample from BraČ Island had α-trans-bergamotene (10.2%) and β-acoradiene (10.1%) as the majors, whereas sample collected on Biokovo Mt. was rich in neryl acetate (8.1%). β-Acoradiene was also the main constituent of sample collected near Tijarica, whereas rosifoliol (8.5%) was the most abundant constituent in sample collected near Makarska. Presented results show the influence of environmental conditions on chemical differentiation of the volatiles of H. italicum from Croatia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Stachys menthifolia Vis. (Lamiaceae) is an endemic species from the Balkan Peninsula spread throughout Albania, Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia. This article presents the first investigation of the essential oil composition of this species from Croatia. Aerial parts of the plant were collected from three different natural habitats in the region of Biokovo Mountain. The studied populations showed similarity in qualitative, but not in quantitative, composition of their essential oils. Hydrodistilled volatile oil obtained from the plant material of S. menthifolia was subjected to gas chromatographic analysis coupled to mass spectrometry. More than 100 compounds were identified in the three samples, representing 86.8–90.8% of the total oil. The terpene profile of S. menthifolia is characterized by a high content of oxygenated sesquiterpenes (48.4–58.9%) and diterpene hydrocarbons (3.5–25.2%), with 8-α-acetoxyelemol (6.9–21.3%), abietatriene (3.5–21.1%), and 4′-methoxyacetophenone (4.5–17.0%) as the main constituents.
