This data paper describes the multinational Database of Flood Fatalities from the Euro-Mediterranean region FFEM-DB that hosts data of 2,875 food fatalities from 12 territories (nine of which represent entire countries) in Europe and the broader Mediterranean region from 1980 to 2020. The FFEM-DB database provides data on fatalities' profles, location, and contributing circumstances, allowing researchers and food risk managers to explore demographic, behavioral, and situational factors, as well as environmental features of food-related mortality. The standardized data collection and classifcation methodology enable comparison between regions beyond administrative boundaries. The FFEM-DB is expandable, regularly updated, publicly available, and with anonymized data. The key advantages of the FFEM-DB compared to existing datasets containing food fatalities are its high level of detail, data accuracy, record completeness, and the large sample size from an extended area.

V dnešní době se stále více zvyšují požadavky na vlastnosti strojních součástí. S tímto trendem roste také uplatnění žárových nástřiků, které mají za cíl zvýšit odolnost proti mechanickému opotřebení, korozi a oxidaci. Hodnota drsnosti Ra se po nastříkání pohybuje okolo 7 µm. Takto velká drsnost povrchu není vhodná pro funkční účely dané plochy. Ke snížení drsnosti povrchu a dosažení geometrických tolerancí je proto nutné povrch dále upravit. V současné době se žárové nástřiky obrábějí výhradně technologií broušení, z důvodu vysoké tvrdosti. Tento článek popisuje průběh a vyhodnocení experimentu při soustružení žárového nástřiku NiCrBSi za různých řezných podmínek. Byl zkoumán vliv řezné rychlosti a posuvu na hodnotu drsnosti obrobeného povrchu. K obrobení byly použity tři typy řezných materiálů (slinutý karbid, kubický nitrid boru a polykrystalický diamant). Výsledkem experimentu bylo nalezení optimálních řezných podmínek v závislosti na drsnosti povrchu a velikosti opotřebení břitové destičky. Nowadays, the requirements for the properties of machine parts are increasing. With this trend, the application of thermal spraying is also growing. The main reason for the use of thermal spraying in industry is to increase the resistance to mechanical wear, corrosion and oxidation. At present, thermal sprays are machined using grinding technology due to their high hardness. The roughness Ra of the thermal spray after the application is around 7 µm. Such a large surface roughness is not very suitable for the functional purposes of the sprayed surface. Machining of the coating is therefore necessary to obtain less surface roughness and to achieve geometric and dimensional tolerances. The article describes the sequence and evaluation of the experiment in turning NiCrBSi thermal spraying under different cutting conditions. The effect of cutting speed and feed on the roughness value of the machined spray surface was investigated. Three types of cutting materials in the form of sintered carbide, cubic boron nitride and polycrystalline diamond were used for machining. The output was to find optimal cutting conditions depending on the surface roughness and the amount of insert wear

Vystružování je dokončovací technologie a jejím hlavním účelem je získat požadovaný rozměr díry a také zlepšit kvalitu obrobeného povrchu a geometrické odchylky tvaru a polohy. Tento článek se zabývá problémem centrování nástrojů pro výrobu přesných děr vystružováním. Cílem tohoto článku je ověření nového návrhu systému nástroje s definovanou tuhostí, resp. flexibilita upnutého nástroje díky prvku, který spojuje nástroj s obráběcím strojem. Chování nástrojového systému při určitém typu zatížení se ověřováno pomocí FEM analýz. Pro tyto analýzy jsou použity výpočetní systémy Autodesk Nastran In-CAD a Siemens NX 11.0. FEM analýzy jsou ověřovány na reálných prototypech nástroje. Reaming is finishing technology and its main purpose is to obtain required dimension of the hole and also to improve quality of machined surface, geometric deviations of shape and position. This article deals with problem of tools centering for manufacturing of precise holes by reaming. The goal of this article is verification of new tool system design with defined rigidity, resp. flexibility of clamped tool due to element, which joins tool with a machine tool. The tool system behaviour under the certain type of load is done by FEM analysis. For these analyses are used computing systems Autodesk Nastran In-CAD and Siemens NX 11.0. FEM analyses are verified on the real tool prototype

V dnešní době se stále více zvyšují požadavky na vlastnosti strojních součástí. S tímto trendem také roste uplatnění žárových nástřiků v praxi, které mají za cíl zvýšit odolnost proti mechanickému opotřebení, korozi a oxidaci a to i v případě zvýšených teplot. Již několik let je prováděn výzkum v oblasti obrábění za účelem zvýšení účinnosti v obráběcím procesu. Tento článek je zaměřen na problematiku obrobitelnost Chrom – kobaltové slitiny označované jako Stellite 6 vyrobený metodou vysokorychlostního nástřiku. Zvolenou technologií byl proces obrážení. Celkem bylo obráběno 24 polotovarů za odlišných řezných podmínek. Výsledkem experimentu jsou hodnoty drsnosti v závislosti na řezné rychlosti, hloubky řezu a nastavení úhlu čela. Pomocí statistické analýzy bylo vytvořeno několik grafů zobrazující optimální řezné podmínky pro získání nejlepších hodnot drsností při řezném procesu. With this trend, the application of thermal spray coatings is also increasing in practice, with the aim of increasing resistance towards mechanical wear, corrosion, and oxidation, even at elevated temperatures. Research has been conducted in the field of machining for several years to increase efficiency in the machining process. This article is focused on the machinability of chromium - cobalt alloy called Stellite 6 produced using a high velocity oxygen fuel method (HVOF). The technology chosen was the shaping process. A total of 24 semi-finished products were machined under different cutting conditions. The results of the experiment are roughness values depending on the cutting speed, cutting depth and rake angle setting. Several graphs were created using statistical analysis showing optimal cutting conditions to obtain the best roughness values during the cutting process.

The aim of the paper was to examine the influence of cutting conditions on the roughness of surfaces machined by longitudinal turning, namely of surfaces coated with Stellite 6 prepared by high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) technology and applied onto a standard structural steel substrate. From the results of measurements of the cutting parameters, a prediction model of the roughness parameters was created using mathematical and statistical methods. Based on a more detailed analysis and data comparison, a new method for prediction of parameters of longitudinal turning technology was obtained. The main aim of the paper was to identify the mutual discrete relationships between the substrate roughness and the machining parameters. These were the feed rate vc (mmin1), in the case of turning and milling, and the feed rate f (mmrev1) and the depth of cut ap (mm). The paper compared and verified two approaches of this method, namely the mathematical statistical approach, the analytical approach and measured dates. From the evaluated and interpreted results, new equations were formulated, enabling prediction of the material parameters of the workpiece, the technological parameters and the parameters of surface quality.
