Güneydoğu Türkiye özellikle Arap yarım adası, kuzey Afrika ve Ortadoğu bölgesinde yayılış gösteren yarasa türlerinin Türkiye’ye giriş yaptığı ve yoğun olarak bulunduğu önemli bir coğrafik bölgedir. Buzul dağlardan, kurak steplere, ırmak vadilerinden geniş düzlüklere sahip bu bölgedeki yarasa türlerini tespit etmek bu çalışmanın amacı oluşturmaktadır. 2004-2017 yılları arasında yapılan arazi çalışmaları sonucunda araştırma bölgesinden Microchiroptera alt takımının Emballonuridae, Rhinolophidae, Vespertilionidae ve Molossidae familyalarına mensup toplam 15 tür tespit edilmiştir. Türlere ait habitat özellikleri ve lokalite kayıtları verilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile Myotis nattererii, M. aurescens ve Rhinolophus mehelyi’nin araştırma bölgesinden ilk kez kaydı verilmiştir. Bununla birlikte bugüne kadar ülkemizden tek bir lokaliteden bilinen Taphozous nudiventris için iki yeni lokalite daha tespit edilmiştir., Southeastern Turkey is an important geographical region where the bat species spreading especially in Arabian Peninsula, North Africa and the Middle East enter in Turkey and have an intense population. The aim of this study was to identify the bat species in this region, which has glacial mountains, arid steppes, river valleys and vast plains. As a result of the field studies conducted between 2004 and 2017, totally 15 species belonging to Emballonuridae, Rhinolophidae, Vespertilionidae and Molossidae families of Microchiroptera suborder were identified in the study area. The habitat characteristics of the species and their locality records were presented. In this study, Myotis nattererii, M. aurescens, and Rhinolophus mehelyi were firstly recorded in the study area. Also, two new locations were determined for Taphozous nudiventris known from one location in Turkey up to the present.

Mari Krallığı, M.Ö. II. Binde Mezopotamya’nın hem siyasi yapılanmasında hem de Orta Fırat bölgesindeki kara ve nehir yolu ticaretinde kilit rol üstlenmiş bir merkezdir. Eskiçağ araştırmalarında Mari Krallığını önemli kılan bir diğer faktör de, Mari sarayında ele geçen 20.000 civarında krallığın çeşitli konulardaki idari belgeleridir. Burada açığa çıkarılan metinlerin çoğu, Mari kralı Zimri-Lim ile onun yüksek dereceli memurları arasında farklı konularda yazılmış mektuplardan oluşmaktadır. Mari kraliyet arşivi belgeleri, Eski Yakındoğu arşivleri arasında ayrı bir öneme sahiptir. Çünkü bu mektuplar, Yakındoğu krallıklarının siyasi ve askerî işleri yanında bölgedeki halkların sosyo-kültürel durumları ve aralarındaki etkileşimler hakkında değerli bilgiler vermektedir. Ayrıca belgeler arasında içeriği bakımından edebî, dinî, mitolojik ve aile içi yazışmalara ilişkin önemli kayıtlar da bulunmaktadır. Mari kraliyet mektupları arasında, Mari ve yakın bölgelerdeki yerleşimlerde meydana gelen sel felaketleri ve taşkınlara karşı idarenin aldığı tedbirler çerçevesinde yürütülen imar faaliyetleri ile su kaynaklarının kullanımı ve yönetimi konusundaki uygulamaları içeren 25 kadar mektup tespit edilmiştir. Makalenin konusu, bu 25 mektup ve içeriği çerçevesinde şekillenmiştir., The kingdom of Mari played a key role for both the development of the political structure of Mesopotamia and the land and waterway trade of the Middle Euphrates region in the 2nd millennium BC. Another factor of the importance of Mari Kingdom is about 20 thousand that are the administrative documents of the kingdom on various issues, unearthed in the palace of Mari. Most of these documents contain the correspondences regarding a wide range of subjects between Zimri-Lim, the king of Mari, and some of his dignitary officials. The royal archive texts of Mari have a specific importance comparing to the other archives of the Near East. Because these letters provide valuable information about the political and military affairs of the Near East kingdoms as well as the social-cultural status of the people in the region and their interactions. There are also important records of about literary, religious, mythological and prosopography in terms of content among the documents. Among the royal documents, there are about 25 letters about the flood disasters took place in Mari and its periphery and construction activities performed by the palace administrative in the scope of precautions against the floods, and about the practices on the use of water sources and management of them. These twenty-five letters and around their content is shaped the topic of the article.

The aim of this study was to determine and compare some morphometric characteristics of Microtus species occurring in the central Anatolia, Turkey. This study is based on 209 specimens of Microtus spp. collected the central Anatolia between 2003 and 2010. Some features concerning pelage coloration, cranial characters, tooth morphotype, and baculum morphology of the species were recorded to determine and evaluate their taxonomic characteristics. It was determined that four species of the genus Microtus occur in the study area, including Microtus dogramacii, Microtus guentheri, Microtus hartingi, and Microtus mystacinus. Microtus hartingi has been found to be widespread throughout central Anatolia. Microtus guentheri is located in the type locality and nearby provinces. M. guentheri and M. hartingi were not found to be sympatric. Among species, M. hartingi has the longest hind foot and M. mystacinus has the longest tail. The UPGMA trees were constructed for each sex, using skull and external measurements of Microtus specimens. As a result, M. dogramacii and M. guentheri being the most similar, and M. mystacinus is the sister species to these. But, it was determined that M. hartingi is distinctively from the these species. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’nin Orta Anadolu bölgesinde bulunan Microtus türlerinin bazı morfometrik karakterlerini belirlemek ve karşılaştırmaktır. Bu çalışma 2003 ila 2010 yılları arasında Orta Anadolu’daki çeşitli yerlerden elde edilen 209 Microtus spp. örneğine dayanmaktadır. Türlerin taksonomik karakteristiklerini belirlemek için kürk rengi, kafatası özellikleri, diş morfotipleri ve baculum morfolojileri ile ilgili bazı özellikler kaydedilmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma alanında Microtus cinsine ait dört tür, Microtus dogramacii, Microtus guentheri, Microtus hartingi ve Microtus mystacinus tespit edilmiştir. Microtus hartingi Orta Anadolu bölgesinin genelinde yaygın olarak bulunmaktadır. M. guentheri tip yeri ve yakınındaki illerde tespit edilmiştir. Microtus guentheri ve M. hartingi simpatrik olarak bulunmamaktadır. Türler arasında M. hartingi en uzun ard ayak uzunluğuna ve M. mystacinus en uzun kuyruk uzunluğuna sahiptir. Her tür ve her eşey için kafatası ve dış ölçüler kullanılarak UPGMA ağacı oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmamız sonucunda M. dogramacii ve M. guentheri’nin birbirine en çok benzeyen türler olduğu, M. mystacinus’un bu türlere yakın olduğu ve M. hartingi’nin bu türlerden ayırt edici şekilde farklı olduğu görülmüştür.

Kultepe tabletleri arasinda Anadolu’nun yerli halkina ait cok az sayida belge bulunmaktadir. Bunlarin buyuk cogunlugu yerlilerin kendi aralarindaki borc-alacak isleriyle ilgilidir. Son yillarda sayilari artan I-b kati tabletleri sayesinde, yerlilerle ilgili karanlikta kalan bircok husus aydinlatilmaya baslanmistir. Yerlilerle ilgili yapilan her calismayla bu yondeki bilgiler giderek artmaktadir. Bu calismada 1950 (Kt. c/k) yili Kultepe kazilarinda bulunmus, yerli tuccarlara ait, cogunlugu borc senetlerinden olusan 10 belgenin tanitimini yapacagiz.

Creatinine imprinted cryogel (MIP) cartridge was prepared with functional monomer N-methacryloyl-(L)-histidinemethylester (MAH) under frozen conditions. Creatinine adsorption studies and selectivity of MIP cryogel were evaluated in aqueous solution and artificial urine sample. Maximum adsorbed amount of creatinine was calculated as 6.83 mg/g polymer for MIP cryogel. Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models were used to investigate the adsorption behaviour of creatinine. In the artificial urine sample; recovery amounts of creatinine were found 34.7–46.2%. Creatinine imprinted cryogel (MIP) cartridge recognized creatinine, 4.58 and 4.37 times greater competitive molecules. WOS: 000495863700011 This research was based on some characteristics of the erythrocyte and leukocyte cells of 9 Miniopterus schreibersii (female female) samples collected from Balikesir Province in Turkey between July 2015 and September 2016. Bats were caught from an artificial cave using special nets. Blood was taken in heparinized hematocrit tubes from the forearm or tail membrane in the laboratory and the blood smears were prepared. The erythrocyte and leukocyte counts, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit values in the blood were determined. In M. schreibersii, the number of erythrocytes in 1 mm(3) of blood was between 7.5 and 10 million, and the mean value was 8.8 million. The diameter values of the erythrocyte, monocyte, lymphocyte, eosinophil, neutrophil, and basophil cells were measured as 5.65, 9.66, 8.4, 8.66,10, and 8.5 mu m, respectively. Blood values of M. schreibersii were recorded for the first time in this study in Anatolia.

YILDIZ AY, Elif/0000-0003-4549-7789 WOS: 000495863700006 Because of their feeding habits, which are affected by their ranking in the last steps of the food chain, the teeth of carnivores are subjected to great forces during the breaking up and chewing of food when they are hunting. In this sense, missing teeth and tooth anomalies are common in carnivores. This research was based on an examination of the properties of the tooth structures of 25 wolf specimens collected in Turkey between 2014 and 2018. In this study, the excess and missing teeth, tooth fracture, and root anomalies in the lower and upper jaw of the head skeletons from an adult age group were examined in detail. Some anomalies, defined as the supernumerary tooth, additional roots, and fusion roots, were found in 4 skulls; tooth loss was found in 6 skulls; tooth fractures were found in 7 skulls; and tooth remains were found in 4 skulls. Fusion roots, supernumerary teeth, and additional roots were among the important variations in dentition. Tooth loss, fractures, and remains, and dental anomalies were determined in approximately 56% of the specimens in this study. It can be conclusively stated that dental anomalies were frequently encountered in wolves in the Palaearctic Region.

WOS: 000458165800012, We determined allelic variation at eleven microsatellite loci to study the effect of the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles on the population genetic architecture of brown hares, Lepus europaeus, from Anatolia and Turkish Thrace in the southeastern most Balkans. The latter region was connected with Anatolia during periods of the late Pleistocene and the early Holocene (until ca. 8000 y BP) enabling natural gene flow. Following a recent mitochondrial (mt) DNA-based phylogeographic model that suggested unidirectional ancient gene flow from Anatolia to the SE Balkans, we expected lower genetic diversity in hares from Turkish Thrace than Anatolia. The Turkish Thrace population might have been established only relatively recently as natural northwestward expansion of a long existing Anatolian population. Alternatively, it might have received late Pleistocene or Holocene gene flow by hares from eastern Europe from north of the Black Sea, even after the formation of the marine barrier. This might have produced a notable genetic distinction between the hares from either side of the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles. We found significantly lower allelic richness in hares from Turkish Thrace than Anatolia, very little genetic admixture in the Turkish Thrace population, and only one allele at low frequency in Turkish Thrace that was not observed in Anatolian hares. On the contrary, many alleles of Anatolian hares were not recovered in hares from Turkish Thrace. Memeli sınıfının Carnivora takımına ait Lutra cinsi dünyada 13 türle temsil edilmektedir. Bu türlerden Avrasya su samuru (Lutra lutra) Palearktik bölgede geniş bir yayılış alanına sahiptir. Avrasya su samurunun Türkiye’deki durumu ile ilgili yapılan ilk üç sempozyumun sonucuna göre Lutra lutra’nın Türkiye’nin her yerinde yayılış gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Lutra lutra dere, çay, nehir, göl ve akarsuların denize döküldüğü yerlerde kaydedilmiştir. Yapılan dışkı analizlerine göre Avrasya su samurunun yayılış gösterdiği bölgelerde besin tercih oranlarının değişmesine karşın, genel olarak başta balık olmak üzere midye, tatlı su yengeci ve kerevit gibi omurgasız hayvanlar ile iki yaşamlı, sürüngen, küçük yapılı kuş ve memeli gibi omurgalı türlerini besin olarak tercih etmektedir. Su samurunu tehdit eden başlıca faktörler arasında yaşam alanının tahrip edilmesi, araç çarpması, çevre kirliliği, pestisit, çiftlik sahipleri tarafından balık havuzlarını koruma amaçlı öldürme ve kısmen avcılık gelmektedir. Lutra lutra’nın uluslararası koruma statüsü 2000’li yılların başında IUCN kriterlerine göre “Vulnerable” iken, 2004’den bu yana “Near Threatened” olarak değişmiştir. Türkiye’de de bu tür “Near Threatened” kategorisinde yer almaktadır. Türkiye’nin değişik bölgelerinde rastlanan su samuruna yönelik tehditlerin boyutlarına göre koruma önlemleri alınabilir. Bunun için su samurunun yaşam alanlarının ve ekolojik tercihlerinin tam olarak bilinmesi gerekmektedir.

WOS: 000373706200013 In this study the reference ranges belonging to some hematological parameters of Myotis myotis and Myotis blythii, collected from three localities in Turkey in 2012 and 2013, are given for the first time. Bats were caught using a special bat net and they were released after the required amount of blood sample was taken. In Myotis myotis, erythrocyte diameter was recorded as 5.04 mu m and the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes in 1 mm(3) of blood was 11.35 x 10(6) and 4865, respectively. While the hemoglobin level was 14.9 g/dL, the hematocrit value was measured as 57.0%. The other values were as follows: mean cell volume (MCV) 52.40 fL, mean cell hemoglobin (MCH) 13.70 pg, mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) 23.30%, and amount of total protein 10.5 g/L. In Myotis blythii specimens, erythrocyte diameter was recorded as 5.69 mu m and the number of erythrocytes and leukocytes in 1 mm(3) of blood was 14.52 x 10(6) and 4296, respectively. While the hemoglobin level was 13.09 g/dL, the hematocrit value was measured as 60.20%. The other values measured as follows: MCV 43.67 fL, MCH 9.70 pg, MCHC 21.70%, and amount of total protein 10.625 g/L. Demirbaş, Yasin/0000-0002-3264-3444 WOS: 000329919500001 This study was based on 125 specimens of hares collected from 61 different localities in Turkey between 2006 and 2010. We present diagnostic characters, pelage coloration, external, cranial and phallic measurements, skull and phallus features, hair structure, and collection localities of hares from Turkey. Additionally, we analyze morphometric variations of 5 regional populations according to the physiography/orography of the study area. Among the morphometric variables, 10 characters (weight, tail length, basal length, condylobasal length, rostral breadth, height of braincase, foramen incisiva length, occipitonasal length, profile length, and mandible length) are found to be significantly different between the populations (ANOVA, P < 0.01). Principal component analysis of 22 morphometric measurements is performed, and 71.56% of total variance is explained through 5 principle components. The Thracian specimen is distinguished from other populations on the first 2 canonical discriminant functions and the cluster dendrogram. The hair structure, as examined by scanning electron microscope, is found to be flattened and imbricate. Our Anatolian specimens are discussed at the subspecies level, comparing them to the relevant literature, and it is concluded that Lepus europaeus in Anatolia is represented by only one subspecies, Lepus europaeus syriacus. YAVUZ, MUSTAFA/0000-0002-2104-741X; WOS: 000299141800005 In this study, from July to September 2007, habitat type and characteristics of Microtus levis was investigated. Of the caught 98 samples, 76 (52 males +24 females) were dead individuals and 22 (13 males + 9 females) were alive from eleven localities (Seki, Yazir, Korkuteli, Bozova, Kizilkaya, Kozan, Kocaaliler, Bozdogan, Gebiz, Kasimlar and Derebucak). Also all of this localities are first records for species. There were statisticaly significant between sexes for snaptrapping but no differences for livetrapping (chi(2)(snaptrapping) = 5.34, df = 1, p = 0.02 and chi(2)(livetrapping) = 0.37, df = 1, p = 0.54). On the other hand, there were strong positive correlations between the capture frequencies in traps (snap and livetrap), also population density and the altitude of localities (r(snaptrapping) = 0.750; n = 11; p = 0.031, r(livetrapping) = 0.918; n = 11; p = 0.041 and r(density) = 0.912; n = 11; p = 0.001). M. levis lives in wet places and near the brook and river at colonies. In the areas, observed that nesting in with slopes of 31-60 degrees at sunny south-facing areas. 64 of 76 dead and 20 of 22 alive individuals were caught on the south-facing (south, southeast, and southwest) exposures. Also 94.05% of population density in South-facing areas.

Demirbas, Yasin/0000-0002-3264-3444; Yagci, Tuba/0000-0003-1705-5107 WOS: 000296747100007 In this study, conventionally stained, C- and Ag-NOR banded karyotypes of Dahl's jird, Meriones dahli, were reported from Turkey. The species had a karyotype of 2n=50, NFa=74 and NF=78. The X and Y chromosomes were submetacentrics in all specimens examined. Blocks of constitutive heterochromatin were located in the pericentromeric areas of autosomes including the X and Y chromosomes. Interstitial C- bands are also detected in the long arms of one of the largest acrocentric pairs. Nucleolar organizer regions (NORs) were located at the telomeric regions of the short arms of three submetacentrics and two acrocentrics.

WOS: 000262276100005 PubMed: 19459458 The present study reports the C-band patterns of chromosomes of Myocastor coypus fromTurkey. The karyotype of M. coypus is comprised of (2n) 42 chromosomes. the number of chromosomal arms (FN) was 83 and the number of autosomal arms (FNa) was 80. The X chromosome was a medium-sized metacentric and the Y chromosome was acrocentric and the smallest in the set. Two metacentric chromosomes have secondary constrictions. Most autosomes in this species were centromeric C-positive and some autosomes had telomeric C-bands. The X chromosome has centromeric heterochromatin, while the Y chromosome appeared to be entirely heterochromatic.

Karyotypes of seven males and three females of the Persian squirrel, Sciurus anomalus, were analyzed with G- and C-banding techniques and Ag-NOR (nucleolus organizer region) staining. All specimens had the diploid number (2n) of 40 and fundamental autosomal arm number (FN) of 76. The autosomal complement comprised 6 pairs of metacentrics and 13 pairs of submetacentrics. The X chromosome was a medium-sized metacentric. The Y chromosome was a small submetacentric. In the C-banded karyotype, except for centromeric heterochromatin, heterochromatin blocks were absent. Only the terminal region of one medium-sized metacentric pair had detectable Ag-NORs. The uniqueness of the chromosomal characteristics of S. anomalus suggests that S. anomalus is distantly related to the other Old World Sciurus species (S. lis and S. vulgaris).

WOS: 000351932700015 The chromosomal banding analysis of the karyotypes of Turkish populations of Eptesicus serotinus, Nyctalus lasiopterus and Barbastellus barbastellus was performed with the use of C-banding and Ag-NOR staining. The results obtained in E. serotinus and N. lasiopterus were congruent with previous data reported from other regions. The karyotype of E. serotinus (2n = 50, NF = 52) contained a moderate amount of centromeric C-heterochromatin and a single NOR was localized in an acrocentric autosomal pairs. The karyotype of N. lasiopterus (2n = 42, NF = 54) contained a higher amount of centromeric C-heterochromatin and the NORs were localized in two autosomal pairs. The karyotype of B. barbastellus was standard in its general characteristics (2n = 32, NF = 54, low amount of C-heterochromatin) but the NOR was localized in only one acrocentric autosomal pair. In studies from other regions, the NORs were recognized in all five acrocentric autosomal pairs of the complement of B. barbastellus. 1948’den bu yana, Kültepe’de devam eden kazılar neticesinde, büyük çoğunluğu Asurlu tüccarlara ve bir kısmı da, yerli halktan ticaretle uğraşan kimselere ait tablet arşivleri ele geçirilmiştir. Burada ele alınan tabletler, farklı tüccarların arşivlerinden olup, masraf listeleri, köle alım-satım belgesi ve çeşitli miktardaki malların teslimatına dair notlardan ibarettir. Ele aldığımız belgeler içerisinde, Kültepe metinlerinde ilk defa geçen yerli şahıs isimlerine de rastlamaktayız, Six New Tablets Discovered in Kültepe during the Excavation of As a result of the excavations that have been continuously taking place in Kültepe since 1948 many archives of cuneiform tablets have been discovered, the majority of which belonged to Assyrian merchants and a limited number of which to some native persons dealing with trade. The tablets chosen to be the subject matter of this article come from different merchants’ archives and include lists of expenses,documents of slave purchase and sale, notes regarding the conditions of delivery of goods in variousquantity. In the documents we are dealing with, there are some native personal names upon which we have come for the first time in the Kültepe texts

Asurlu tuccarlarin sikca kullandiklari ticari bir terim olan nikkassum, belgelerde farkli fiillerle gecmektedir. This study is based on the G-banding karyotype of 2 sibling bat species Myotis myotis (Borkhausen, 1797) (Greater Mouse-eared Myotis) and M. blythii (Tomes, 1857) (Lesser Mouse-eared Myotis) distributed in Turkey. G-banding karyotypes showed that the 2 taxa possessed identical G-banded chromosome arms. It was concluded that G-banded chromosomes are not sufficient as a diagnostic character for separating M. myotis from M. blythii.Little estimation of the genetic homology of chromosomes can be provided by conventionally stained karyotypes. However, G- and C-banding of chromosomes are the most commonly used techniques in cytogenetic studies for comparison of related taxa (Baker et al., 1987; Qumsiyeh and Baker, 1988). Bickham (1979a, 1979b), Baker (1984), and Baker et al. WOS: 000311138900011 A chromosomal study of Allactaga euphratica from the Sanliurfa Province in Southeast Anatolia, Turkey, was performed. The diploid number of 48 chromosomes was found in all four specimens examined. The C-band-positive regions were distributed in centromeric areas of all the autosomal pairs and the X chromosome. Extensive C-positive heterochromatin intercalary blocks were observed in the largest pair of autosomes. The small Y chromosome was stained uniformly and C-negatively. The active nucleolus organizer regions (NORs) were localized in two pairs of small bi-armed autosomes. The C-heterochromatin distribution and localization of the secondary constrictions bearing NORs apparently differ between karyotypes of the related jerboa species A. euphratica and Allactaga williamsi. This cytogenetic difference may be implied as a suitable marker in further studies of the relationships in contact zones and possible hybridization between these two taxa.

WOS: 000286695100007 PubMed: 21614965 Conventionally stained, C- and Ag-NOR banded karyotypes of Guenther's vole, Microtus guentheri were studied from Turkey. The species possesses a karyotype of 2n=54, NFa=52 and NF=54 in specimens from Kahramanmaras and Gaziantep provinces, whereas NF=56 in females and NF=55 in males were found in individuals from Kirikkale and Nevsehir provinces. The X chromosome was a large acrocentric (NF=54) or submetacentric (NF=55, 56) while the Y chromosome was a small telocentric in all specimens examined. Blocks of constitutive heterochromatin were located in the pericentromeric areas of autosomes including the X chromosome. Nucleolar organizer regions (NORs) were located at the telomeric regions of the short arms of five acrocentric pairs and centromeric regions of two telocentric pairs in the Nevsehir and Kirikkale specimens.

Demirbas, Yasin/0000-0002-3264-3444 WOS: 000278447900013 The distribution of nucleolar organizer regions (NORs) in Cricetulus migratorius and Meriones tristrami from Central Anatolia was determined. In the karyotype of Cricetulus migratorius the diploid number, fundamental number, and fundamental autosomal number are 22, 44, and 40, respectively. The diploid number, fundamental number, and fundamental autosomal number of Meriones tristrami are 72, 84, and 80, respectively. In Cricetulus migratorius, NORs occur in the telomeric regions of metacentric and subtelocentric autosome pairs. Furthermore, terminally located NORs in metacentric and acrocentric autosomes of Meriones tristrami are presented in this present paper.

WOS: 000519521700013 In this study, the banded karyotypes (C- and Ag-nucleolus organizer regions (NORs)) of Myotis emarginatus in Turkey were determined for the first time. The karyotype contained 44 chromosomes, the number of chromosomal arms (NF) was 54, and the number of autosomal arms (NFa) was 50. Slight C-heterochromatic blocks were observed in the centromeric regions of some autosome pairs, whereas the sex chromosomes were euchromatic. The Ag-NORs were detected in the short arms of a large and a medium-sized acrocentric autosome. The distribution of C-heterochromatin regions in Turkish populations of M. emarginatus is similar to those reported in some other Myotis species.
