PT.GMF AeroAsia in its development has an environmental impact analysis that considers the remaining spare parts so as not to overdo it. The achievement of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and the accuracy of the System Application and Product (SAP) are the research objectives by knowing the factors that cause the occurrence of spare parts that have been installed in the aircraft not recorded in the System Application and Product (SAP) and the efforts that can be made to achieve standard Key Performance Indicator. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The analysis tool used is Fishbone and analysis of 5W + 1H. The research data used is secondary data for 6 months (January to June 2017). The population in this research is the data of spare parts report waiting to be used (WTU) in 2016 until 2017. The sample in this research is the data of material waiting to be used report for six months from January to June. In the Pareto Diagram it was found that the most cause was due to the Robbing Material process. In the Fishbone Diagram, the main cause was found because it was not aware of the importance of updating data in the System Application and Product. The results obtained were by increasing discipline in updating the System Application and Product with the Reward and Punishment schemesaims.

This study investigates the levels of foreign language reading anxiety among EFL students at a state university in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, to identify the main factors contributing to this anxiety. The study included 30 participants who provided data through two questionnaires. The first questionnaire utilized the Foreign Language Reading Anxiety Scale (FLRAS) to assess anxiety levels, while the second questionnaire aimed to determine the primary factor behind this anxiety. The results indicated that 67% of the students experienced moderate anxiety, 20% experienced high levels, and 13% reported low anxiety. The study identified two main factors influencing foreign language reading anxiety: text features and personal factors. Text features encompassed unfamiliar vocabulary, topics, and culture, while personal factors included concerns about the effect of reading and fear of making errors. The second questionnaire revealed that unfamiliar language ranked as the most dominant factor, followed by concerns about the impact of reading, unfamiliar topics, fear of making errors, and unfamiliar culture. Recognizing that reading anxiety is a common experience among language learners is essential. However, with the proper support and guidance, students can overcome these challenges and succeed in their English language learning journey.

This study explores global governance dynamics affecting climate change governance in Indonesia, focusing on legal pluralism as a framework for integrating state law, customary law and Islamic law. Considering the context of legal diversity, this study investigates the emergence of models of climate change governance approaches in Indonesia after the 2015 Paris Agreement, specifically examining the consequences of climate change governance on legal mechanisms related to the climate crisis in Indonesia. The study then specifically analyzes ocean-based solutions, highlighting the importance of a focused concentration on climate change governance and legal frameworks in Indonesia. The process of formulating regulations in Indonesia is mainly top-down and neglects to consider the socio-economic rules of the society. As a result, the role of communities at the grassroots level or other social groups is not represented. Therefore, the formulation of Indonesia's NDC policy documents, especially those related to the forest and land use (FOLU) sector, is recommended to increase the inclusiveness of local communities, local governments, and non-governmental organizations. The current paradigm of legal pluralism has the opportunity to improve climate change governance in Indonesia. Climate change policies through international law can be integrated into state law, customary law, and Islamic law in Indonesia in a harmonious way.

Manual control and monitoring of water quality remain a significant challenge for managers of drinking water depots, potentially affecting water safety and operational efficiency. To address this, an automated system was developed to fill water tanks and monitor water quality using advanced sensors and a real-time notification system. The solution integrates a Node MCU ESP32 microcontroller, a pH sensor for detecting water acidity, a TDS sensor for dissolved solids, an ultrasonic sensor for water level detection, and a Telegram bot for remote monitoring and notifications. The system activates the pump under optimal conditions pH between 6.5 and 8.5, TDS below 150 ppm, and water level below 30 cm and deactivates it when conditions deviate, such as pH outside the range, TDS exceeding 150 ppm, or water level reaching 120 cm. Notifications on pump status, pH, TDS, and water levels are sent via Telegram. Testing demonstrated reliable operation, with the system correctly activating and deactivating the pump under specified conditions, enhancing water quality management and operational effectiveness in drinking water depots.

Hasil pengamatan awal menunjukkan adanya hambatan belajar peserta didik pada materi jaring-jaring kubus dan balok. Sebagai solusi, media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) digunakan untuk membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan interaktif. Teknologi AR memungkinkan peserta didik memvisualisasikan objek virtual dalam dunia nyata menggunakan kamera ponsel, sehingga pembelajaran tidak terbatas pada metode konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) mengembangkan mobile AR berbasis Android untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, 2) mengimplementasikan dan menguji kelayakan aplikasi ini, dan 3) menumbuhkan motivasi peserta didik agar lebih rajin belajar terutama ilmu perhitungan dengan menggunakan mobile learning berbasis Android. Penelitian ini mengembangkan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 fase keseluruhan, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli media, materi, dan bahasa, menunjukkan hasil "sangat layak". Uji coba menunjukkan bahwa media ini efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, dengan 85% peserta didik merasa lebih antusias dan 80% lebih mudah memahami materi. Media ini juga mendukung peningkatan hasil belajar, dengan rata-rata nilai peserta didik naik dari 70 menjadi 85. Hasil penelitian berupa media pembelajaran berbasis Android ini selanjutnya akan digunakan dalam Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM).

Methylene blue is a synthetic dye that widely used in various industries. However, its presence in wastewater negatively affects the environment, human health, and aquatic life. Adsorption is recognized as an effective and economical method for removing methylene blue from wastewater. Calcium-based adsorbents such as shrimp shell waste can be used for this purpose. Furthermore, the adsorption process can be intensified using ultrasonic waves. This study aimed to prepare, characterize, and apply shrimp shell-based adsorbents for ultrasonic-assisted methylene blue adsorption. Adsorbents were prepared using three different methods (coded by A1, A2, and A3) to study their effects on the characteristics and performance of methylene blue adsorption. The adsorption process was also performed by varying the solution pH, adsorbent mass, adsorption time, adsorption temperature, and initial methylene blue concentration. The results indicated that the preparation method significantly influenced the characteristics of each adsorbent, as validated by Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform InfraRed, Particle Size Analyzer, and Surface Area Analyzer. Under optimal conditions, A2 and A3 exhibited the highest methylene blue removal rates, reaching 99.771 % and 99,820 %, respectively. The adsorption isotherm study shows that methylene blue adsorption onto A1 follows the Freundlich model, whereas onto A2 and A3 followed the Langmuir model. The adsorption kinetics study revealed that the experimental data for all three adsorbents conformed well to the Pseudo-Second Order model, with R2 values ranging from 0.99998 to 1.0000. Finally, the thermodynamic assessment demonstrated that ultrasonic-assisted MB adsorption with the three adsorbents was spontaneous, with ΔG° values of -1,542, -10,669, and -10,680 kJ/mol, ΔS° values of 62.845, 150.900, and 162.260 kJ/mol.K, and ΔH° values of 17,347, 35,088, and 38,339 kJ/mol for A1, A2, and A3, respectively.

This research addresses the pressing issue of malnutrition among toddlers in Indonesia, aiming to classify their nutritional status using the Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC). The study utilizes a dataset comprising 958 records from Puskesmas Cilandak and categorizes nutritional status into six class labels: good nutrition, at risk of excess nutrition, excess nutrition, obesity, undernutrition, and severe malnutrition. The methodology includes data preprocessing techniques such as class weighting to tackle class imbalance and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for effective feature extraction. The model's performance is evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving an impressive accuracy of 85.76% when class weighting is applied, which significantly enhances the recall and F1 scores for minority classes. The findings highlight the critical importance of robust preprocessing and evaluation metrics in improving machine learning models for public health applications. Furthermore, they suggest that further exploration of alternative algorithms and dataset expansion could yield more comprehensive insights into the classification of toddler nutritional status.

Checking the identity of motorcycle owners when leaving the college area is a mandatory activity for security officers to ensure that vehicles entering and exiting the college are the same driver. The conventional checking process often causes the impact of vehicle queues when the volume of vehicles increases. Therefore, an intelligent system is needed to detect multi-plate vehicles automatically. One approach in the world of image detection of an object is the use of the YOLO (You Only Look Once) algorithm. This algorithm predicts bounding boxes and possible classes in a single frame. This research divides objects into 3 classes, namely vehicles, driver's faces, and vehicle plates. The dataset used was 74 varied images consisting of 50 training data, 12 validation data and 12 testing data. The image was trained using 300 epochs and a batch size of 8 and resulted in an F1 score calculation for detecting objects reaching 92%.

Skin aging can be characterized by changes in skin, such as the appearance of wrinkles and loss of skin moisture. Some elements that might lead to cell damages and aging are free radicals through the increase of the activities of hyaluronidase and tyrosinase. Bioactive compounds found in sesoot (Garcinia picrorhiza Miq.) are known for their antioxidant properties, which may reduce excessive amounts of free radicals in the body and act as an antiaging agent by inhibiting hyaluronidase and tyrosinase activities. This study aimed to examine the antioxidant, anti-hyaluronidase, and anti-tyrosinase properties found in Ethanolic Extract Ripe Sesoot (EERS). The ethanol extract of ripe sesoot fruit obtained from LIPI, Bogor Botanical Garden was used for the antioxidant and antiaging assays conducted at PT Aretha Medika Utama in December 2016. The activity of antioxidants was measured as the Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power (FRAP) of the EERS, while the antiaging assays were performed through the inhibition activity of hyaluronidase and tyrosinase. Results indicated that the EERS has a higher FRAP activity (17.58 μM Fe (II)/μg) than xanthone (2.54 μM Fe (II)/μg) at the highest concentration of sample of 5,000 µg/mL. The anti-hyaluronidase of the EERS exhibited lower activity (IC50 of 619.21±12.15 µg/mL) than xanthone (IC50 of 365.55±25.10 µg/mL) and the tyrosinase inhibitory assay demonstrated a lower activity of EERS (IC50 of 1060.68±12.81 µg/mL) compared to xanthone (IC50 of 218.33±9.73 µg/mL). To conclude, EERS shows antioxidant and antiaging properties.

AbstractIndonesia is a salak producing country with five superior varieties, namely: Salak Pondoh, Salak Madu, Salak Gading, Salak Gula Pasir and Salak Sidempuan. The large number of Indonesian salak which are claimed to be Thai fruit products marketed to China shows the weak legal protection for salak fruit, which has a geographical indication of originating from Indonesia. This study collects data from relevant online literature and then analyzes them based on inductive analogies. By analogizing the concept of marketing communication tetrahedron analysis from Kevin Lane Keller, which considers four factors (consumer, communication, response and situation), through inductive analogy this paper offers steps that must be taken by the Indonesian government to provide protection and development of salak. Fruit products originating from Indonesia need to be protected and developed through legal measures, good marketing communication, and preservation technology so that they can compete in the international market.

This study discusses students' responses and perceptions on the e-book of Local History of West Java (Indonesia) developed by the researchers. It uses a Research and Development approach and experimental method. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and focus group discussions with interactive model data analysis. The research subjects were students and teachers of high schools in West Java. They were taken as the subjects as they can represent the region. The History E-book is, however, published on ebooksejarah.id page while the system was developed by using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Waterfall model. The results of the study indicate that the components of the e-book on the aspects of the materials, presentation, and completeness are overall suitable to be used by students. The materials are considered to be still inapplicable and not contextual. Further, they are still lack of latest issues as well as photos/illustrations. The study of student responses on the e-book reinforces that the zoomers (those belong to Generation Z) prefer to digital learning media because their social life belongs to the online world. Local history e-books should better adapt to the learning style of Generation Z, who prefer visuals and hands-on experiences to reading texts. Thus, e-book development needs to be equipped with various learning media in short audios and video explainers, animations, and infographics.

Food security is the condition of fulfilling food needs in terms of quantity and quality from household to national levels, and one way to meet these needs is through the application of Sustainable Food Gardens (P2L). Sustainable Food Gardens are crucial for enhancing food self-sufficiency, supporting food consumption diversification by cultivating various crops and raising livestock, optimizing land use in household gardens, and contributing to local economic strengthening through local production. The implementation of P2L enables communities to contribute to environmental sustainability in the agricultural sector. This service is conducted in Cijaku Village, Cijaku District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. It utilizes qualitative descriptive methods by conducting socialization, assistance, focus group discussions, and evaluation. Empowering communities through Sustainable Food Utilization to support household food security involves various factors that support sustainability and food self-sufficiency at the local level. The results of the socialization showed that 48.14% of respondents did not know about the P2L program before, and 40.74% had never attended related training. After the socialization, 51.85% of the community understood that P2L could help family food security, and 59.26% started implementing P2L by planting green vegetables. Socialization is considered easy to do (48.14%) and well-delivered (51.85%). P2L can support food diversification, and sustainable land management, serve as an adaptation strategy to climate change, optimize water usage, empower women, increase household production, and enhance community involvement in meeting food needs independently.

The land in the South Tasikmalaya Regency is dominated by dry land with a steep and hilly land contour. In addition, the area has a shallow soil solum, so it has a high potential for erosion and landslides. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate an integrated cultivation system that is economically feasible, but still maintains environmental sustainability. In this research, the aim is to formulate a model for the development of integrated plantation polyculture farming (IPPF) for the welfare of farmers. The method in this study uses a mixed method design. The location of the research carried out is in the Tasikmalaya Regency. The data used are the results of interviews and questionnaires to 250 IPPF farmers. The data used were obtained by multistage cluster random sampling. The sustainable IPPF development model was analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). This analysis is used to determine the various potential capital factors for agricultural development on the sustainable development of the IPPF and farmers' welfare. The results of the study show that the potential development capital [natural resources (SDA) capital, economic capital, socio-cultural capital, physical capital, and multifunctional IPPF], jointly or partially affect the IPPF sustainability. Human resource capital has no effect on the sustainable IPPF development, while the sustainable IPPF development affects the farmers' welfare levels, and the potential agricultural development capital and its multifunctionality affect the sustainable IPPF development and farmers' welfare. The IPPF development model that improves the welfare of farmers is carried out through the development of specific local superior commodities, increasing the added value and cooperation, developing access to credit, regenerating farmers, sustainable assistance and infrastructure improvements. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the government in improving IPPF sustainability to achieve the welfare of its farmers. Apart from that, the model that has been developed can make a contribution to science in the form of a comprehensive analysis of the factors that influence the sustainability of IPPF.

Sampah plastik merupakan salah satu penyumbang sampah terbesar. Salah satu bentuk produk plastik yang paling sering digunakan dan ditemui adalah kantong plastik. Kantong plastik memiliki sifat yang tahan air, ringan, dan mudah didapat membuatnya menjadi pilihan yang digunakan masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun dibalik segala kelebihan dan kepraktisan plastik tersebut, sampah plastik juga menimbulkan ancaman yang cukup serius terhadap lingkungan dan manusia. Celakanya masih banyak Masyarakat yang kurang peduli terhadap bahaya plastik bagi lingkungan. Termasuk pada Masyarakat keputih Surabaya, di mana masih banyaknya penggunaan kantong belanja berbahan plastik yang digunakan khususnya oleh Ibu-ibu. Untuk itu maka Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan judul Program Kampanye Public Relations "Zero Waste" sebagai Upaya Menuju Kampung Bebas Plastik Di Keputih Surabaya dibuat. Tujuan dari Program ini adalah untuk mengurangi penggunaan plastik yang ada di kampung keputih. Adapun metode yang dilakukan dengan melakukan sosialisasi secara langsung kepada warga dan dengan menggunakan media luar ruang seperti poster, fyler sebagai media kampanye “zero waste”. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya perubahan secara kognitif bagi Masyarakat kampung keputih terutama dalam hal pengetahuan tentang kondisi sampah plastik di Indonesia tepatnya di kota Surabaya, dampak sampah plastik bagi lingkungan dan manusia, serta keuntungan beralih menggunakan kantong belanja ramah lingkungan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil rekayasa sosial yang telah dilakukan. Hal tersebut juga menunjukkan bahwa dengan perencanaan kampanye public relations yang terukur dan tepat sasaran, maka keberhasilan dari program public relations juga dapat semakin meningkat

The background of this research is that Science in Indonesia develops through institutions, not ideas, people, or instruments. This research aims to describe the institutionalization of scientific institutions in the Dutch East Indies. The historical method analyzes various resources to aid the reconstruction of the Dutch East Indies’s science institutionalization process. This research uses archives from ANRI (National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia) regarding Bataviaasch Genootschap van Wetenschappen (The Batavia Society of Arts and Science). Archives from other scientific institutions, such as Bogor and Cibodas Botanical Gardens, are also used to illustrate the institutionalization process. The findings of this research include studies on the process and the necessity to pay attention to elements such as rules, norms, cultural benefits, roles, and material resources. Institutionalizing science and technology in the Dutch East Indies underwent at least three stages: the emergence of amateur scientists from Europe, the efforts to build scientific groups, and the establishment of science institutions. This research concludes that the first two stages were outside the bureaucratic channels of the colonial government. However, in the third stage, scientists needed help to escape the role of the colonial bureaucracy in developing these scientific institutions. Bataviaasch Genootschap van Wetenschappen, founded in 1778, was a private organization studying commerce, agriculture, and humanities. It played a significant role in encouraging various other research institutions

Indonesia's 2024 general election is a watershed moment in the country's political history, with a large number of first-time voters participating. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the participation of first-time voters in elections, including political awareness, access to information, social environment, motivation, and trust in the electoral system. This research uses a qualitative approach, distributing questionnaires to collect data from novice voters in the Islamic Political Thought Study Program. The findings show that political awareness, access to information, and social environment are significant factors influencing first-time voter participation. Apart from that, motivation and trust in the electoral system also play an important role in determining their decision to participate in the election. This study shows. to encourage the participation of first-time voters in the 2024 election and the findings of this research have significant results for the 2024 election among students of Islamic political thought.

Platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFRβ) belongs to the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) protein family and is implicated in several disorders such as hematopoietic, glial, and soft-tissue cancer, non-cancerous disorders, including skeletal defects, brain calcification, and vascular anomalies. The research on small molecule inhibitors targeting PDGFRβ in cancer treatment has seen promising developments, but significant gaps remain. PDGFRβ, receptor tyrosine kinase, is overexpressed in various cancers and plays an important role in tumor progression, making it a potential therapeutic target. However, despite advances in identifying and characterizing PDGFRβ inhibitors, few have progressed to clinical trials, and the mechanistic details of PDGFRβ′s interactions with small molecule inhibitors are still not fully understood. Moreover, the specificity and selectivity of these inhibitors remain challenging, as off-target effects can lead to unwanted toxicity. In this investigation, two compounds, Genostrychnine and Chelidonine, were discovered that help inhibit the kinase activity of PDGFRβ. These small molecules were identified by employing various parameters involved in the drug discovery process, such as Lipinski’s rule of five (RO5), 2D similarity search and 3D pharmacophore-based virtual screening followed by MD simulation studies. The identified molecules were found to be effective and significantly bound with the PDGFRβ kinase domain. Overall, our findings demonstrate that these small drug-like compounds can be beneficial tools in studying the properties of PDGFRβ and can play a crucial role in the therapeutic development of cancers and other associated diseases.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I MI Al-Futuhat, di mana 62,5% siswa belum mencapai KKTP yang ditetapkan (≥70). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode ACM, serta proses pembelajaran dengan metode ACM di setiap siklus. Metode ACM mengintegrasikan permainan, imajinasi, dan kreativitas melalui alat peraga, bercerita, dan musik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), serta teknik pengumpulan data berupa pengamatan, tes unjuk kerja, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum penerapan metode ACM, ketuntasan klasikal kemampuan membaca siswa hanya 37,50% (kategori "Kurang"). Setelah penerapan metode ACM, terjadi peningkatan signifikan: rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 51,56 menjadi 67,97 pada siklus I, dan 79,30 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari 37,50% menjadi 56,25% pada siklus I, dan 81,25% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa dan guru juga meningkat di setiap siklus. Dengan capaian ini, pembelajaran dihentikan pada siklus II karena indikator keberhasilan telah tercapai (≥75%), mencerminkan dampak positif dari penerapan metode Aku Cepat Membaca (ACM). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode ACM efektif meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dan direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.

Purpose. This research aims to examine the factors that influence the rationality and income of soybean farmers, especially in rain fed field agroecosystems. Methodology / approach. The research was designed quantitatively with a type of survey on 263 soybean farmers from a total population of 768 farmers spread across Jatiwaras and Pancatengah subdistricts, Tasikmalaya Regency, which is one of the centres for soybean development in West Java, Indonesia. The determination of the farmer sample was carried out proportionally randomly using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5 %. The data analysed is primary data obtained directly from farmers using a questionnaire with a Likert scale consisting of 5 answer choices. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS to determine the influence between variables. Results. The research results show that: (1) Farmer characteristics have a significant positive relationship with farmer motivation. These characteristics are a strong driving force to increase their motivation in soybean farming to be even better in an effort to increase their income; (2) Farmer characteristics have a significant positive effect on farmer rationality. The older the age, the higher the education, and the greater the burden of responsibility borne by the farmers’ family, the more rational they consider soybean cultivation to be, which means that they will be more cautious in growing soybeans to minimise the risk of losses they may incur; (3) Farmer motivation has a significant positive effect on farmer rationality. The stronger farmers’ motivation in soybeans farming, the more rational it makes them in thinking about farming as well as possible; (4) Farmer rationality has a significant positive effect on income. The more rational the thinking of farmers in soybean farming, in the sense that they can effectively use social networks, efficiently grow soybeans and adopt technology, the more they can increase production, which ultimately increases income. Originality / scientific novelty. This study focuses more on the rationality of smallholder farmers in Indonesia, who have many structural disadvantages, such as limited land ownership, average age of farmers, low education level and many family responsibilities, which are constraints to soybean farming; how smallholder farmers are related to motivation in soybean farming and whether this farmers’ rationality can increase their income, while several previous studies only discussed farmers’ rationality without considering socioeconomic factors, especially smallholder farmers. Practical value / implications. This research provides evidence that there is a relationship between farmer characteristics and motivation which has a significant effect on farmer rationality so that in the end it can increase income. The results of this research have implications for government policies in efforts to increase farmers’ income by increasing their capacity through intensive and sustainable agricultural extension activities. The existence of more intensive and sustainable agricultural extension activities can increase the knowledge and insight of small farmers in soybean farming, which in turn can motivate farmers to think and act more rationally so that they can better optimise all the resources they have.

The deposition of monosodium urate (MSU) crystals within joint spaces produces a painful inflammatory condition known as gout, a specific form of arthritis. The condition calls for a combined curative and preventive management model. A new development in the approach to gout is that of NLRP3-targeted biologic agents, such as monoclonal therapies, to provide more accurate treatment by blocking specific pro-inflammatory cytokines. Nanoparticle drug delivery enhances biological availability and delivery to targets, which may increase therapeutic efficacy and decrease general toxicity. The preventive approach again cannot be ignored, mainly keeping up certain modifications in diet and weight, along with pharmacological therapies to reduce uric acid (UA) levels and to decrease the frequency of acute attacks. The advancement of genetic profiling of patients and biomarker discoveries drives the trend towards building individualized medicine and care, quickly gaining ground as the most effective method of delivering treatments to individual patients, moving away from one-size-fits-all treatments. The following paper aims to provide an updated account of the management of gout with a focus on recent developments, in order to enhance these approaches, the quality of life for patients with gout, and the standard of gout treatment.

Throughout history, humans shared habitats and resources with animals, making human-wildlife interactions (HWI), including conflict, inevitable. Understanding issues before mitigating them is one important aspect of conservation. This study assessed 1,613 registrants' data on public perception of HWI through a computer-mediated communication (CMC) platform by conducting registration surveys for webinar series that discussed relevant HWI cases in Indonesia. Among all the results from five studies, a finding shows there is a consistency of perceptions toward certain animal groups in the context of HWI. Moving forward, this cost-effective method can be replicated to gather public perceptions on conservation issues, allowing conservationists to plan a better urban outreach activity.

This article highlights a community service initiative titled "Empowering Communities through Enhancing Environmental Awareness: A Case Study of Cikelat Village, Sukabumi, West Java in Community Service Activities". In response to the pressing need for sustainable development, this project was undertaken with the aim of elevating environmental consciousness within the community. The primary objectives were to foster a deep understanding of environmental issues, instill sustainable practices, and stimulate community participation. Employing a participatory approach, the engagement encompassed workshops, awareness campaigns, and skill-sharing sessions, fostering a sense of ownership among residents. Collaborative partnerships with local stakeholders formed the bedrock of the strategy, promoting shared responsibility. The outcomes revealed a substantial surge in environmental awareness among villagers, leading to the adoption of eco-friendly practices. The success of the initiative underscores the potential of community-driven efforts to drive sustainable development by intertwining environmental consciousness and active engagement.

Natural disasters are one of the events that threaten food security in every region in Indonesia. Ciamis District is one of Indonesia's areas prone to natural disasters. One of the impacts of a disaster is on the agricultural sector because it will determine food security in the area and can affect the socio-economic community. This study aims to analyze the Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) Model of the Effect of Disaster Events on Food Security. This study used quantitative methods, and data sources were obtained through secondary data searches. Data were processed using a Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) analysis tool through a quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The results showed that the natural disasters directly or indirectly impacted food availability and security in Ciamis District. Natural disasters still occur even though food availability, affordability, and utilization are quite good. There are other factors, namely disasters, that come suddenly and cannot be predicted, thereby affecting the food security of a region. Efforts are needed to create togetherness in society to anticipate and respond to disaster events. In addition, it is expected that each individual can take the necessary actions to solve problems independently.

This study explores the utilization of Kuntowijoyo's concept of Prophetic Social Science as a method for comprehending the verses of the Qur'an. The passages in question pertain to the narrative of Abraham engaging in dialogue with different interlocutors. This study addresses three key inquiries: 1) The definition of ISP and Kuntowijoyo's perspective on it. 2). Which passages pertain to the narrative of Ibrahim AS? 3). What is the process of constructing verse interpretation through ISP and how do the implications and implementations of interpretation products affect social life in Indonesia. The research methodology employed is descriptive analysis, specifically utilizing a literature review technique encompassing primary materials authored by Kuntowijoyo and secondary sources published by other scholars who have explored Kuntowijoyo's concepts. The findings of this study indicate that ISP, which stands for Islamic Science Prophetic, is a scientific output derived from prophetic material that encompasses more than only the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. 2). Ibrahim serves as an exemplary character that may be emulated as a role model in ISP. This is derived from the manner in which Ibrahim engaged in discussion with his interlocutors. 3). Ibrahim's dialogue approach serves as an exemplary model for fostering peace in social life, particularly among religious individuals in Indonesia. Tulisan ini membahas tentang bagaimana konsep Ilmu Sosial Profetik Kuntowijoyo dijadikan sebagai sebuah pendekatan dalam memahami ayat-ayat al-Qur’an. Adapun ayat-ayat yang dimaksud adalah ayat yang berkaitan dengan kisah dialog Ibrahim dengan berbagai lawan bicara. Kajian ini berangkat dari tiga pertanyaan mendasar, 1). Apa yang dimaksud dengan ISP dan bagaimana pemikiran Kuntowijoyo. 2). Apa saja ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan kisah Ibrahim AS. 3). Bagaimana kontruksi interpretasi ayat melalui ISP dan bagaimana pula implikasi serta implementasi produk interpretasi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik, khususnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan kajian kepustakaan melalui sumber-sumber primer karya Kuntowijoyo maupun sumber-sumber sekunder yang dituliskan orang lain terkait ide-ide Kuntowijoyo. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1). ISP adalah produk ilmu yang diambil dari data profetik kenabian yang tidak hanya terpaku kepada nabi Muhammad. 2). Ibrahim merupakan figur yang dapat dijadikan role model dalam ISP. Hal ini didasari dari bagaimana Ibrahim berdialog dengan lawan bicaranya. 3). Konsep dialog Ibrahim adalah contoh yang ideal bagi umat manusia, khususnya umat beragama di Indonesia dalam menciptakan kedamaian dalam kehidupan sosial.

This article discusses how the mu'tazilah school understands hadith. As a group that understands the source of religion by prioritizing ratios, of course there are differences with other groups. This study consists of the understanding of the mu'tazilah and the history of their emergence, the main teachings of the mu'tazilah and their figures, the mu'tazilah during the time of the Ummayah and Abbasiyah, the discourse on the blasphemy of the hadith ahad, the history of its denial, and the hadith ahad in the mu'tazilah review. This study method is descriptive analysis, which describes the data that has been collected then processes it and analyzes related data. The results of this study are 1). The mu'tazilah had a different approach to the Sunnah. 2). mu'tazilah have certain principles, which if the hadith of the Prophet contradicts those principles, they reject them. 3). Reason occupies the top position in understanding the evidence of the Shari'a.

This study aims to describe how the educational level of investors influences their understanding of financial literacy and its effect on investment decision making in capital markets. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection was conducted from 7 January to 7 February 2020, by distributing questionnaires to investors who were members of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia. The sample in this study amounted to 108 investors. The research findings show that the level of investor knowledge regarding financial literacy is high. There is a significant correlation between the investor education level and their understanding of financial literacy, thus influencing investors in the financial decisions they make. It can be concluded that, for investment decision making in capital markets, knowledge of financial literacy is necessary. Therefore, to increase investor understanding of various levels of education on financial literacy in the capital market, education, and training on financial literacy as sustainable capital is required.

Indonesia is a tropical country that has exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun throughout the year. This causes susceptibility to skin problems for the Indonesian population, including the vulnerability to aging of the skin due to exposure to ultraviolet rays for a long time. In the prevention of degenerative diseases and aging, antioxidants play an important role. Buas-buas and secang, which are plants from the West Kalimantan region, have very high antioxidant activity. Gel preparations are typically formulated as moisturizers with the aim of increasing water content in the stratum corneum, thus hydrating and maintaining skin pH. Hence, this study aimed to create a gel preparation combining buas-buas leaf extract and secang, effective as a moisturizing and anti-aging gel. The results of measuring the antioxidant activity of the combination of crude ethanol extracts of buas-buas leaves and secang wood with the results of the three formulas have very strong antioxidant activity, namely F1 at 0.0329 mg/ml, F2 at 0.0246 mg/ml, and F2 at 0.0246 mg/ml. F3 of 0.2282 mg/ml, and IC50 results for gel preparations for F1 3,8677 mg/ml, F2 4,3953 mg/ml, F3 4,396 mg/ml. The gel preparations produced in this study have the appearance and fulfill the evaluation requirements, except for the evaluation of spreadability.
