Günümüzde örgütlerin önemi gün geçtikçe daha da artmaktadır. Ulus ve uluslararası örgütlerin çoklu fonksiyonları ve etkileri, örgüt kültürü ve örgütsel davranış alanında yapılacak olan yeni çalışmaları/araştırmaları zorunlu kılmaktadır. Kitabımızda hitap etmeyi amaçladığımız hedef kitleyi bu yeni kavramlarla tanıştırmak ve yapılacak yeni araştırmalara zemin hazırlamak öncelikli gayemiz olmuştur. Örgütsel davranış alanındaki kavram ve araştırmalara ilgi duyan araştırmacılara, akademisyenlere, karar vericilere, uygulayıcılara, öğrencilere bilgi ve ulusal yazına katkı sağlamayı amaçlayan kitabımız 28 yazarın katkı sunduğu 21 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Serimizin ilk kitabının konu dağılımından da anlaşılacağı üzere bu çalışmalar örgütsel davranış alanında çok önemli bir boşluğu dolduracağı gibi yeni çalışmalara da kaynaklık edeceği iddiasını taşımaktadır. Ülkemizde yaşanan asrın felaketi olarak adlandırılan Kahramanmaraş merkezli on bir ili etkileyen depremlerden dolayı oldukça zor, sıkıntılı ve stresli bir süreç içerisinde kitap çalışmamızı tamamlamış bulunmaktayız. Bu depremlerden doğrudan etkilenen bölüm yazarlarımızın zor şartlarda kitabımıza katkı sağlamış olmaları takdire şayandır. Bu nedenle öncelikle bu eserin ortaya çıkabilmesi için yoğun bir emek, özveri, sabır ile katkı ve destek sağlayan birbirinden değerli, alanında uzman tüm bölüm yazarlarımıza teşekkürlerimi ve şükranlarımı sunmayı bir borç bilirim. Ayrıca kitaba sunuş yazma inceliğini göstererek bizleri onurlandıran, sahip olduğu bilgi ve tecrübelerle her zaman yolumu aydınlatan ve bana rol model olan Değerli Hocam Prof. Dr. Mustafa TAŞLIYAN’a, kitabın yayına hazırlanmasında titizlikle çalışan Özgür Yayınevi ve çalışanlarına, kitap yazım sürecinde desteğini esirgemeyen ve bugünlere gelmemi sağlayan aileme, değerli hocalarıma, arkadaşlarıma ve siz değerli okuyuculara sonsuz teşekkürlerimi ve saygılarımı sunarım.

ş yerlerinde önemli bir sorun olan mobbing, son zamanlarda akademik ve iş ortamlarında giderek daha fazla ilgi görmektedir. Mobbing, sosyal ve psikolojik olarak çok boyutlu özellikleri olan ve iş ortamında sıkça görülen bir eylemler dizisidir. Mobbing, kişiliği, saygınlığı, fiziksel ve psikolojik bütünlüğü etkileyen davranışlar, sözler, eylemler, jestler veya yazılar olarak kendini gösterebilir. Mobbing çalışma ortamı üzerinde olumsuz etkiler göstermektedir. Bunlar stres ve depresyondan psikosomatik bozukluklara ve hatta kronik hastalıklara kadar uzanır. İşyerinde mobbing, bir çalışana veya bir grup çalışana yönelik, sağlık ve güvenlik açısından risk oluşturan, tekrarlayan, mantıksız kötü niyetli davranışlardır. Gözdağı verme, fiziksel şiddet, ayrımcılık şeklinde kendini gösterebilir. Bireysel, örgütsel ve hatta sosyal düzeyde ciddi olumsuz etkilere neden olabilecek mobbing olgusunun farkına varmak, nedenlerini belirlemek ve önlemleri almak önemlidir.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic process, healthcare professionals have an important role in combating the disease. The rapid spread of Covid-19 all over the world and the lack of a solution has increased the anxiety and stress levels of healthcare professionals as well as all individuals. They are adversely affected physically, mentally and spiritually due to many reasons such as the high risk of contagion to themselves and their families, working with protective equipment, and increasing workloads and working hours. It can be said that this situation will decrease the level of commitment to their profession and institutions. In this context, this study aims to examine the effects of health care workers' coping styles on their organizational commitment. In a study conducted with 239 healthcare professionals working in a private hospital, Organizational Commitment Scale and Coping with Stress Scale were used. As a result of this study, it has been observed that the use of self-confident approach and optimistic approach among the methods of coping with stress by healthcare workers will positively affect and increase the organizational commitment levels of the employees., Covid-19 pandemi sürecinin başlangıcından bu yana sağlık çalışanlarına hastalıkla mücadelede önemli roller düşmektedir. Covid-19’un tüm dünyada hızla yayılması ve çözümün bulunamaması tüm bireylerin olduğu gibi sağlık çalışanlarının da anksiyete ve stres düzeylerini artırmıştır. Hastalığın kendilerine ve ailelerine bulaşma riskinin yüksek olması, koruyucu ekipmanlarla çalışmaları, iş yüklerinin ve mesai saatlerinin artması gibi pek çok nedenden ötürü fiziksel, zihinsel ve ruhsal yönden olumsuz şekilde etkilenmektedirler. Bu durumun, mesleklerine ve kurumlarına olan bağlılık düzeylerini azaltacağı söylenebilir. Bu bağlamda çalışma sağlık çalışanlarının stresle başa çıkma tarzlarının örgütsel bağlılık düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bir özel hastanede görevli 239 sağlık çalışanı ile yapılan araştırmada Örgütsel Bağlılık Ölçeği ile Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucunda, sağlık çalışanlarının stres ile baş etme tarzlarından; kendine güvenli yaklaşım ve iyimser yaklaşım yaklaşımlarını kullanması çalışanların örgütsel bağlılık düzeylerini olumlu yönde etkileyeceği ve yükselteceği görülmüştür.

Este estudio examinó el papel mediador del componente de uso de la emoción (UoE), de la Escala de inteligencia emocional, en la relación entre extraversión (EX) y conciencia dentro de los Cinco Grandes factores de personalidad, y las dimensiones de trabajar en exceso (WE) y trabajar compulsivamente de la Escala holandesa de adicción al trabajo. Junto con este objetivo, se recopilaron datos del personal sanitario, en su mayoría enfermeras, que trabajaba en hospitales privados que prestan servicios en Estambul. Los hallazgos indicaron que WE tuvo un efecto directo no significativo sobre EX (β = −0.358; p > .05), mientras que el efecto indirecto de WE sobre EX a través de UoE fue significativo (β = 0.147; p < .05). Este estudio revela que UoE actúa como un mediador completo en el efecto de WE sobre EX. This study examined the mediator role of Use of Emotion (UoE) component of Emotional Intelligence (EI) Scale in the relationship between Extraversion (EX) and Conscientiousness (CO) within the Big Five (BF) personality factors, and the dimensions of Working Excessively (WE) and Working Compulsively (WC) of Dutch Work Addiction Scale (DUWAS). Along with this aim, data were collected from healthcare staff, most of who were nurses, working at private hospitals serving in İstanbul. The findings indicated that Working Excessively (WE) had a non-significant direct effect on Extraversion (EX) (β = -.358; p > .05) while the indirect effect of Working Excessively (WE) on Extraversion (EX) through Use of Emotion (UoE) was significant (β = .147; p < .05). This study revealed that Use of Emotion (UoE) acted as a full mediator in the effect of Working Excessively (WE) on Extraversion (EX).

Recently, ethics is one of the fundamental issues that companies had to pay attention to because of global economic crises, corporate scandals, and rising importance of environmental concerns. Furthermore, scarcity of resources forced companies to think about sustainability within ethical issues. Devastating effects of the problems that companies dealing with have some consequences at the last instance. Ethics in management is becoming an ascending subject with all stakeholders, from a single customer to governmental practices. In this chapter, ethics in management will be discussed with its theoretical development, relation with organizational culture, and leadership.

The supply system in health sector determines effective stock management, regular material supply, speed, and quality of maintenance and service process. Elimination of all non-value-adding activities, movements, and processes in the procurement process; minimizing errors; and increasing the efficiency of the process between the inputs and outputs of the hospital is possible by applying total quality in supply management. Effective supply chain management in health institutions improves the quality of healthcare.

To analyze ethics and sustainability in supply chain management: ethics, business ethics and ethical leadership are briefly explained. Ethics is important for the business in 4 aspects: customers, suppliers, competitors and employees. In this chapter, supply management will be given a more detailed examination with sustainability and an ethical point of view. Besides the governmental regulations, big companies also feel social responsibility and take action for the procurement of their supplier's conditions. Sustainability, ethics, ethical leadership are the main problems for a successful supply chain management system.

The increase in the number of health institutions, developments in technology, and the use of devices and materials utilized in diagnosis and treatments have increased the types and amount of medical waste. Therefore, it has become a necessity to reduce the health problems, remove the risks that may arise for human health, and protect the environment by effectively managing the medical wastes that are the results of the activities of health institutions. Hazardous medical wastes that harm humans and environmental health are a risk factor for the whole society. For this reason, removal, collection, temporary storage, recycling, transportation, and disposal of medical wastes without harming people and the environment includes technical, administrative, and legal processes. This study summarizes the current literature for sustainable waste management, its relationship to environmental and human health, and international legislation on waste management.

The increase in environmental pollution, the decrease in resources, and legal obligations that came with globalization, industrialization, and economic developments increased the responsibilities of individuals, societies, and managers at all levels regarding environmental issues. For the future of societies and the world and to ensure the existence and sustainability of a healthy and safe environment to minimize environmental problems, organizations should take environmentally sensitive approaches. Environmental management systems are useful and important in many ways such as reducing the adverse impacts of the organizations on the environment, creating safe work environments, preventing pollution, lowering costs, reducing risks, improving environmental performance, improving corporate image, improving the success and reputation of organizations. The aim of this chapter is to emphasize the importance of ISO 14000 environmental management system standards in organizations and to evaluate its characteristics, implementation stages, and development.

İşletmelerin verimliliği ve kalitesini arttıran en önemli unsur insan faktörüdür. Rekabet yarışındaki farkın, insan faktöründeki nitelik ve niceliğinin artışıyla doğru orantılı olduğu fark edilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile, İstanbul ilinde 250 ve altında çalışanı olan özel hastanelerde insan kaynakları işgören bulma yöntemleri ve insan kaynakları departman yapıları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Özel hastanelerde çalışan personel sayısının artışına bağlı olarak insan kaynakları ile ilgili departmanların kurulması arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışan sayısı arttıkça özel hastanelerde insan kaynakları departmanı oluşturulduğu görülmektedir. Çalışmada, işgören bulma yöntemlerine göre işgören bulma puanı ile iş performansı puanı arasında pozitif yönde ilişki saptanmıştır. İşgören bulma puanı ve iş performansı puanı arttıkça iş devir hızının düştüğü görülmüştür. Literatür taramasından ve yapılan uygulama çalışmasından elde edilen sonuçlara göre özel hastanelerde insan kaynakları işgören bulma faaliyetleri yeterli düzeyde işlevsellik kazandığından söz edilemez.

Throughout world economies, place and role of government and public sector have weakened over time, and on the other hand, efficiency, function, and responsibility of the business world and private sector have increased on the global market system. In addition, changing and developing socio-cultural structure has increased social sensitivity stakeholders' consciousness and importance given to ethic values due to increasing social necessities. Ethics turned out to be one of the most important management subjects for entities and governors in the business world. Ethical performance and ethical quality of enterprises are also important for social responsibility towards all stakeholders, enterprises' ethical values, reputation of the enterprise, increasing brand value of goods produced or service provided, providing trust and support of investors, customers, and the public. In this context, ethics, managerial ethics, institutionalization of ethics, and importance of ethical principles in enterprises in terms of corporate managerial principles are evaluated in this chapter.
