Understanding SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence among health care personnel is important to explore risk factors for transmission, develop elimination strategies and form a view on the necessity and frequency of surveillance in the future.We enrolled 4927 health care personnel working in pediatric units at 32 hospitals from 7 different regions of Turkey in a study to determine SARS Co-V-2 seroprevalence after the first peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. A point of care serologic lateral flow rapid test kit for immunoglobulin (Ig)M/IgG was used. Seroprevalence and its association with demographic characteristics and possible risk factors were analyzed.SARS-CoV-2 seropositivity prevalence in health care personnel tested was 6.1%. Seropositivity was more common among those who did not universally wear protective masks (10.6% vs 6.1%). Having a COVID-19-positive co-worker increased the likelihood of infection. The least and the most experienced personnel were more likely to be infected. Most of the seropositive health care personnel (68.0%) did not suspect that they had previously had COVID-19.Health surveillance for health care personnel involving routine point-of-care nucleic acid testing and monitoring personal protective equipment adherence are suggested as important strategies to protect health care personnel from COVID-19 and reduce nosocomial SARS-CoV-2 transmission.

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı piezo cerrahi uygulanarak ve uygulanmadan eğimli teller ve dikey elastiklerle tedavi edilen açık kapanışlı bireylerde meydana gelen kök rezorpsiyonlarını ve kemik miktarlarını karşılaştırmaktır.Bireyler ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya arşiv kayıtları taranarak yaş ortalaması 17,51±3,04 yıl olan 25 birey (Grup 1), 17,78±3 yıl olan 18 birey (Grup 2) dahil edilmiştir. Grup 1'de seviyeleme işlemini takiben üst çeneye arttırılmış, alt çeneye ters eğimli Nikel Titanyum teller yerleştirilmiş (T0), üst çene posterior dişlerin kökleri arasına piezo cerrahi yapılmış ve ön dikey elastikler kullandırılmıştır. Grup 2'de ise aynı protokol piezo cerrahi yapılmadan uygulanmıştır. İki grupta da ideal overbite elde edildikten sonra, sekiz hafta düz çelik teller üzerinde elastik kullanımına devam edilmiştir (T1). Volumetrik tomografi görüntüleri üzerinde MIMICs 19.0 yazılımı kullanılarak ölçümler yapılmıştır.Bulgular: Bukkal alveolar kemik kalınlığı Grup 1'de daha fazla etkilenmiş olup; iki grup arasındaki farklar genellikle 3. ve 6. mm'lerde istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Her iki grupta da bukkal kret tepelerinde anlamlı kayıplar görülmüştür. Grup 1'de sağ tarafta vertikal alveolar kemik kayıpları, Grup 2'den daha fazladır. Kök rezorpsiyonları her iki grupta da istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır ancak üst sol ikinci molar dişin mesiobukkal ve distobukkal köklerindeki rezorpsiyon haricinde gruplar arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemiştir.Sonuçlar: Dokuzuncu mm'deki bukkal alveolar kemik kalınlıkları gruplar arasında farklılık göstermemiştir. Grup 2'de intrüzyon gözlenmeyen üst sol 2. molar dişte daha fazla rezorpsiyona rastlanmıştır. Aim: The aim of this study is to compare the root resorption and bone level of open-bite patients treated by curved arches and vertical elastics combined either with or without piezo surgery.Subjects And Method: This study consisted of the records of 25 open-bite patients with the mean age of 17.51±3.04 years (Group 1) and 18 open-bite patients with the mean age of 17.78±3 years (Group 2). In Group 1 after leveling and aligning, upper accentuated and lower reverse curve of spee Nickel Titanium archwires were placed (T0), piezo surgery was performed between the roots of upper posterior teeth on both sides and the vertical elastics on the anterior region were used. Group 2 was treated by the same protocol but without piezo surgery. Following the achievement of ideal overbite in both groups, the same elastics were used for eight weeks on straight stainless steel archwires (T1). MIMICs 19.0 software was used to evaluate the volumetric tomography images. Results: Buccal alveolar bone was affected more in Group 1 and significant differences between the groups were generally observed in the levels of 3rd and 6th mm. Statistically significant vertical alveolar bone loss was seen in both groups but it was significantly higher on the right side in Group 1. Root resorptions were statistically significant in both groups. No significant difference was observed between the groups except the resorption of mesiobuccal and distobucal roots of upper left second molar.Conclusion: There was no statistically significant difference between the groups at the alveolar bone level of 9 mm. The root resorption of upper left second molar in Group 2 was significantly higher although no intrusion was seen. 173

Bu çalışma ile kentsel park alanlarında yapılan aydınlatmalar için belirlenen ilke ve tekniklerin iki örnek alan üzerinde irdelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, aydınlatma tip ve tekniklerinin rekreasyonel etkinlikler, park öğeleri ve çevre ile uyumunu ve uygunluğunu irdelemek için uygun yöntem ve teknikler kullanılarak değerlendirmeler yapılmak üzere Trabzon Meydan Parkı ve Atapark örnek alanları seçilmiştir. Çalışmada kentsel park alanlarında kullanılan aydınlatma ilkeleri ortaya konulmuş, yapılan yanlış uygulamalar vurgulanmıştır. Günümüzde kentsel park alanlarında gerçekleştirilen aydınlatma uygulamalarında karşılaşılan sorunlar, Meydan Parkı ve Atapark ölçeğinde ele alınmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen kullanıcı gözlem ve anket çalışmaları ile parkların farklı zaman aralıklarında kullanım yoğunluğu ile gece-gündüz etkinlik devamlılığı, mevcut aydınlatmanın kullanıcılar üzerindeki etkisi, kullanıcıların aydınlatmayı beğenisi ve tercihleri sorgulanmıştır. Örnek alanlarda aydınlatma teknikleri fonksiyon, güvenlik, estetik ve ekonomik açıdan değerlendirilmiştir. Böylece doğru aydınlatma tasarımı uygulamalarının önemi vurgulanmış aydınlatma tasarımı konusuna dikkat çekilmiştir. Sonuçta, Meydan Parkı ve Atapark'ın, aydınlatma tip ve teknikleri açısından bazı farklılıklar gösterdiği, ancak bu durumun aydınlatmanın güvenlik, estetik ve ekonomik yönünden büyük farklılıklara sebep olmadığı, etkinliklerin yapılabilirliğinin aydınlatmayla ilişkili olduğu, kullanıcılarının aydınlatma yönündeki beğeni ve tercihlerinin büyük farklılıklar göstermediği görülmüştür.Anahtar Kelimeler: Aydınlatma, DıĢ Mekan Aydınlatması, Kentsel Park AydınlatmaTeknikleri, Trabzon. With this study; determined principles and techniques for the lighting in urban park areas were aimed to evaluate in the two sample areas. In this respect; Trabzon Square Park and Atapark sample areas were selected to make assessments with using appropriate methods and techniques in order to analyze harmonization and suitability of lighting types and techniques with recreational activities, park elements and environment. In this study, lighting principles used in the fields of urban parks were being introduced; the wrong practices were highlighted. Today, the problems encountered; in lighting applications carried out in the areas of urban parks were discussed on the scale of Meydan Parkı and Atapark. With observation and survey work was performed; the intensity of use at different time intervals and continuity of day-night activity of parks, the effects of current lighting on users, lighting appreciation and preferences of users were questioned. Lighting techniques in sample fields were evaluated in terms of function, safety, aesthetics and economically. Thus, the significance of correct lighting design applications were highlighted, attention was drawn to the issue of lighting design. Finally, it was seen that, Meydan Parkı and Atapark, lighting types and techniques show some differences; but this situation not cause any large differences in terms of lighting safety, aesthetic and economic; the feasibility of activities is associated with lighting; appreciation and preferences of users in direction of lighting not show large differences.Key Words: Lighting, Outdoor Lighting, Urban Park Lighting Techniques, Trabzon. 210

Objective: in the early stages of any epidemic caused by new emerging pathogens healthcare personnel is subject to a great risk. Pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, proved to be no exception. Many healthcare workers died in the early stages of pandemic due to inadequate precautions and insufficient protection. It is essential to protect and maintain the safety of healthcare personnel for the confinement of pandemic as well as continuity of qualified healthcare services which is already under strain. Educating healthcare personnel on appropiate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is as essential as procuring them. Material and methods: a survey is conducted on 4927 healthcare personnel working solely with pediatric patients from 32 different centers. Education given on PPE usage were questioned and analyzed depending on age, sex, occupation and region. Results: among four thousand nine hundred twelve healthcare personnel from 32 different centers 91% (n=4457) received education on PPE usage. Of those who received education only 36% was given both theoretical and applied education. Although there was no differences among different occupation groups, receiving education depended on regions. Conclusion: it is essential to educate healthcare personnel appropiately nationwidely for the continuity of qualified healthcare services during the pandemic. / Giriş: yeni ortaya çıkan patojenlerin neden olduğu salgınların erken dönemleri sağlık çalışanları için büyük bir risk taşımaktadır. SARS-CoV-2’nin neden olduğu pandemide de durum farklı olmamış, alınan yetersiz önlemler ve kişisel korunma eksikliği nedenleriyle pandemi başlangıcında birçok sağlık çalışanı hayatını kaybetmiştir. Sağlık çalışanlarının koruması ve güvenli ortamda çalışmalarının devamlılığının sağlanması sağlık hizmetlerinin aksamamasının yanında salgının sınırlandırması içinde gereklidir. Kişisel koruyucu ekipmaların kullanımı ile ilgili eğitimlerin verilmesi, gerekli durumlarda güncellenmesi koruyucu ekipmanların sağlanması kadar önemlidir. Gereç ve yöntemler: otuz iki farklı merkezde çocuklara sağlık hizmeti veren 4927 sağlık personeli üzerinde anket uygulanmış, kişisel koruyucu ekipman kullanımı konusunda alınan eğitim değerlendirilmiş, yaş, cinsiyet, meslek ve bölgesel farklılıkların eğitim alma üzerine etki edip etmediği değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: otuz iki farklı merkezden 4927 sağlık çalışanın katıldığı çalışmada, 4457 (%91) sağlık çalışanın kişisel koruyucu ekipmaların kullanımı ile ilgili eğitim aldığı saptanmış, yalnızca %36’sının hem teorik hem de uygulamalı eğitim aldığı bulunmuştur. Meslek grupları arasında eğitim alma yönünden fark görülmezken, bölgelere göre eğitim alıp almamada anlamlı fark olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: tüm bölgelerde sağlık personelinin kişisel korunma konusunda eğitilmesi ve verilen eğitimin denetimi ve sürekliliği kaliteli sağlık hizmetlerinin devamlılığı için gereklidir., NA
