Araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarında metin türü olarak kullanılan çizgi romanları tema, karakter nitelikleri, hangi metin türünün çizgi romana dönüştürüldüğü ve etkinlikler gibi değişkenler açısından incelemek ve çizgi romanlara ait etkinliklerin hangi dil becerilerini geliştirdiğini tespit etmektir. Çalışma, doküman analizi kullanılarak desenlenmiş, araştırmacılar tarafından incelenecek Türkçe ders kitaplarının hâlihazırda kullanılıyor olmasına dikkat edilmiş ve incelenen ders kitaplarının sınıf ayrımı yapılmaksızın tamamında çizgi roman türüne rastlanmıştır. Çizgi romanların büyük çoğunluğunun “Millî Kültürümüz” ile “Bilim ve Teknoloji” temalarında bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çizgi romanlarda bulunan kahramanların ise aydın ve ideal olarak betimlendiği saptanmıştır. Okuma metni olarak yer alan çizgi romanlara yönelik etkinliklerde geliştirilmesi en fazla hedeflenen becerinin okuma becerisi olduğu saptanmıştır. Çizgi romanların etkinlikleri incelendiğinde dinleme becerisine ait etkinliğin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Konuşma becerisinin yanı sıra anlatmaya dayanan bir dil becerisi olan yazma becerisinin de özellikle 6. sınıflarda geliştirilmesi hedeflenmektedir. Sonuç olarak yapılan araştırmada, Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan çizgi romanların büyük çoğunluğunun iki temada yer aldığı ve bahsi geçen çizgi romanların etkinliklerinin geçiş sıklığı açısından sırasıyla okuma, konuşma ve yazma becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik tasarlandığı görülmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgulardan yola çıkılarak Türkçe derslerinde eğitici ve nitelikli çizgi romanlara, tüm dil becerilerinin geliştirilmesi sürecinde bir metin türü olarak yer verilmesi, bunun için de bir öğretim materyali olarak uzmanlarca hazırlanmış nitelikli çizgi romanların kullanılması gerekmektedir., The aim of the research is to examine the comics used as a text type in secondary school Turkish textbooks in terms of variables such as themes, character qualities, transformed genres and activities, and to determine which basic language skills the activities of comics develop. The study was designed using document analysis, attention was paid to the fact that the Turkish textbooks to be examined by the researchers were already being used, and comics were found in all of the textbooks examined, regardless of class. It was determined that the majority of the comics are on the themes of "Our National Culture" and "Science and Technology". It has been determined that the heroes in the comics are depicted as intellectuals and ideals. It was seen that the heroes in the comics are depicted as intellectuals and ideals. In addition, it has been observed that almost all of the examined comics are reading texts. It has been determined that the skill that is aimed to be developed the most in the activities for the comics, which are included as reading texts, is the reading skill. When the activities of the comics were examined, it was determined that there was no activity related to the listening skill. In addition to speaking skill, it is aimed to develop writing skill, which is a language skill based on narrative, especially in 6th grades. As a result, in the research conducted, it is seen that the majority of the comics in Turkish textbooks take place in two themes and the activities of the mentioned comics are designed to improve reading, speaking and writing skills, respectively, in terms of frequency of transition. Based on the findings obtained within the scope of the research, it is necessary to include educational and qualified comics in Turkish lessons as a type of text in the development of all language skills, and for this, qualified comics prepared by experts should be used as a teaching material.

Theaim of this research is to determine what kind of appearance is it in terms ofcoherence of the narrative texts written by students at level B1and learnTurkish Language as a foreign one. In accordance with this purpose, theinverstigation has been moved on how the narrative texts written by students atlevel B1 who learn Turkish language as a foreign one have a quality in terms oflinguistic information and lexical compatibility. The research done for thispurpose has been designed as a case study and document review method has beenused as data collection method. Students at level B1 have been consideredsuitable for writing narrative texts and the study group consisted of 60students selected on the basis of volunteerism from them who are at thecompetence level of B1 from Çukurova University Turkish Language TeachingResearch and Application Center, Adana Science and Technology UniversityTurkish Language Teaching Research and Application Center. It is assumed thatthe Turkish language teaching taking into consideration that has been taken bythe students who have completed their education which is on the level of B1 canwrite an event text which they can reflect their experiences and impressions,and can make their representations. Inline with this assumption, firstly, the activities to improve writing skillsand the texts in textbooks prepared at A1 A2 and B1 level have been examinedand in this direction various writing topics have been defined. Then, thesetopics have been presented to the expert opinion and aspects have been obtainedfrom the experts who worked in the field of Turkish education and teachingTurkish language as a foreign one. Accordingly,the students have been asked to write a storyconsisting of 550-700 words by completing a story given the initiator event.The items of coherence have been taken as criteria in the evaluation of thenarrative texts written by the students in terms of coherence and It has beenattempted to determine the frequency of usage of coherence items in the textswritten by the students. For this purpose, content analysis has been done and thetext written by each student has been evaluated separately by two researchers.An evaluation form has been created which is based on theoretical explanationsof compatibility in order to evaluate the coherence properties of narrativetexts in terms of textlinguistics and each student's text has been evaluated interms of the inclusion of coherence properties., Buaraştırmanın amacı, Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak öğrenen B1 düzeyindekiöğrencilerin yazdıkları öyküleyici metinlerin bağdaşıklık açısından nasıl birgörünüm sergilediğini tespit etmektir. Araştırma durum çalışması olarakdesenlenmiş, veri toplama yöntemi olarak doküman incelemesi yöntemikullanılmıştır. B1 düzeyindeki öğrencilerin öyküleyici bir metin yazabilmekiçin uygun olduğu düşünülmüş, Çukurova Üniversitesi Türkçe Öğretimi Uygulama veAraştırma Merkezi ile Adana Bilim ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi Türkçe ÖğretimiUygulama ve Araştırma Merkezinden B1 yeterlilik düzeyinde olan öğrencilerdengönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak seçilen 60 öğrenci çalışma grubunuoluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerden başlatıcı olayın verildiği bir öyküyü tamamlayarak550-700 sözcükten oluşan bir öykü yazmaları istenmiştir. Öğrencilerin yazdığıöyküleyici metinlerin bağdaşıklık açısından değerlendirilmesinde bağdaşıklığısağlayan ögeler ölçüt olarak alınmış ve öğrencilerin yazdıkları metinlerde söz konusubağdaşıklık ögelerini kullanma sıklıkları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçlaiçerik analizi yapılmış, her bir öğrenci tarafından yazılan metin ikiaraştırmacı tarafından ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmiştir. Öyküleyici metinlerinbağdaşıklık özelliklerini metindilbilimsel açıdan değerlendirebilmek içinbağdaşıklığa ilişkin yapılan kuramsal açıklamaları temel alarak birdeğerlendirme formu oluşturulmuş ve her öğrencinin yazdığı metin bağdaşıklıkögelerine yer verme niteliği bakımından değerlendirilmiştir.

Biodegradation of the phenylurea herbicide linuron appears a specialization within a specific clade of the Variovorax genus. The linuron catabolic ability is likely acquired by horizontal gene transfer but the mechanisms involved are not known. The full-genome sequences of six linuron-degrading Variovorax strains isolated from geographically distant locations were analyzed to acquire insight into the mechanisms of genetic adaptation toward linuron metabolism. Whole-genome sequence analysis confirmed the phylogenetic position of the linuron degraders in a separate clade within Variovorax and indicated that they unlikely originate from a common ancestral linuron degrader. The linuron degraders differentiated from Variovorax strains that do not degrade linuron by the presence of multiple plasmids of 20–839 kb, including plasmids of unknown plasmid groups. The linuron catabolic gene clusters showed 1) high conservation and synteny and 2) strain-dependent distribution among the different plasmids. Most of them were bordered by IS1071 elements forming composite transposon structures, often in a multimeric array configuration, appointing IS1071 as a key element in the recruitment of linuron catabolic genes in Variovorax. Most of the strains carried at least one (catabolic) broad host range plasmid that might have been a second instrument for catabolic gene acquisition. We conclude that clade 1 Variovorax strains, despite their different geographical origin, made use of a limited genetic repertoire regarding both catabolic functions and vehicles to acquire linuron biodegradation.

Araştırmanın amacı, Türkçe öğretmenlerinin performans değerlendirme(PD) hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Hem nicel hemde nitel veri toplama araçlarının kullanıldığı araştırmada, resmi ilköğretim okullarının 6, 7 ve 8.sınıflarında görev yapan 114 Türkçe öğretmenine anket uygulanmış, 10 öğretmenle de görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğretmenlerin çoğu perfromans görevlerinin(PG) özgün ürünler ortaya çıkarmayı sağlaması, gerçek yaşam problemlerini içermesi gibi birçok olumlu özelliğe sahip olduğunu düşünürken, yazılı ve sözlü sınavlarla çoktan seçmeli maddelerden oluşan sınavlardan daha etkili olmadığını düşünmektedir. Aynı zamanda öğretmenlerin çoğunun PG‟lerin bireysel farklılıkları ortaya çıkarma, üst düzey düşünme becerilerini geliştirme, araştırma yapmaya yöneltme, dil becerilerini gerçek yaşamda kullanmayı sağlama gibi amaçlara hizmet ettiğini düşündükleri ortaya çıkmıştır. PG‟lerin hazırlanması sürecinde yaşanan en büyük sorunun öğrencilerin bilgileri internetten olduğu gibi almaları ve gerekli kaynaklara ulaşamamaları olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin dereceli puanlama anahtarlarını kullandıkları, öğrenci ürün dosyaları, öz ve akran değerlendirme formlarını ise kullanmadıkları saptanmıştır. Öğretmenler PD çalışmalarında yaşadıkları en önemli sorunların bilgi eksikliği, sınıfların kalabalık oluşu ve PD‟nin uzun zaman alması olduğunu belirtmişler, velilerin ise PD‟nin amacını tam olarak anlamadıkları için çocuklarına bilinçli bir şekilde yardım edemediklerini ifade etmişlerdir.

The objectiveof this study is to determine the metacognitive strategies that secondaryschool students use before, during and after listening. In the research whichwas designed as a case study of the qualitative research designs, interviewswere conducted with 24 students studying in six different schools located inYüreğir and Seyhan districts in Çukurova region. While determination of thesestudents, maximum variation sampling method from purposive sampling is used.Datas are analyzed with Qualitative Analysis Programme Nvivo. At the end of theresearch, it has been determined hat most of students use guess strategy beforelistening, try to guess the content looking at the topic of the text, lessstudents use planning strategy than guess strategy. Moreover it was alsodetermined that there were students who did not use any strategy beforelistening. It was observed that the following strategy was mostly used duringthe listening process. After listening, it has been detected the whole studentshave used strategies understanding evaluation, answer questions most about theyhave listened and summarized text which they have listened. It has been statedthe least used strategy is evaluationing of achieving the goal., Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin dinlemeöncesinde, dinleme sürecinde ve dinleme sonrasında kullandıkları üstbilişstratejilerini saptamaktır. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışmasıolarak desenlenen araştırmada Çukurova, Yüreğir ve Seyhan ilçelerinde bulunan,altı farklı okulda öğrenim gören 24 öğrenciyle görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Söz konusuöğrenciler belirlenirken amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitlilikörnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler NVivo Nitel Veri AnaliziProgramı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda dinleme öncesindeöğrencilerin çoğunun tahmin stratejisini kullandığı, tahmin stratejisineyönelik olarak en çok dinleyecekleri metnin başlığına bakarak içeriği tahmindebulunmaya çalıştıkları, planlama stratejisini ise tahmin stratejisine nazarandaha az öğrencinin kullandığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca dinleme öncesinde hiçbirstrateji kullanmayan öğrencilerin de bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Dinlemesürecinde izleme stratejisinin daha çok kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Dinlemesonrasında ise öğrencilerin tümünün anlamayı değerlendirmeye yönelik stratejilerkullandığı, en çok dinledikleriyle ilgili soruları cevapladıkları vedinledikleri metni özetledikleri saptanmış, en az kullanılan stratejinin amacaulaşmayı değerlendirme olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to evaluate The Turkish Language Curriculum dated 2006 evaluates the objectives, suggested activities, methods and techniques, materials and equipments and testing and assessment practices from the perspective of Turkish teacher. The study is a qualitative case study, and criteria sampling is used to choose the participants. The data were collected through semistructured interview with 24 Turkish teachers from 8 schools in four districts of the province of Adana. Content analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data. Results of the study show thatmajority of the teachers think guided writing, self-evaluation of the written product, and expressing oneself in writing as the objectives of the courses are less achieved, and they do not develop any material except for the activities in the coursebook. It is also found out that students find activities of story writing more interesting as a literary genre. Additionally, while most of the teachers find the activities appropriate, some teachers mention the excessive number of the activities as a negative effect on giving feedback to students about their written production and thus increasing their writing anxiety., Bu araştırmanın8 amacı, 2006 tarihli Türkçe dersi öğretim programında yazma becerisine yönelik olarak belirlenen amaç ve kazanımlar, önerilen etkinlikler, yöntem ve teknikler, araç-gereçler ileölçme değerlendirme boyutlarına ilişkin uygulamaları ve eğilimleri Türkçe öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinden hareketle değerlendirmektir. Nitel olarak desenlenen araştırmada durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmış, çalışma grubu ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda Adana ilinin dört ilçesindeki sekiz okuldan seçilen 24 Türkçe öğretmeni ile araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak görüşmeler yapılmış, veriler içerik analizi yapılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenlerin çoğunun planlı yazma, kendi yazdıklarını değerlendirme ve kendini yazılı olarak ifade etme alışkanlığı kazanma amaçlarına çok az ulaşıldığını düşündükleri, öğrenci çalışma kitabındaki etkinliklerin dışında farklı etkinlikler geliştirmedikleri, öğrencilerin metin türü olarak daha çok hikâye yazmaya yönelik etkinlikleri ilgi çekici buldukları saptanmıştır. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin çoğu uyguladıkları etkinlikleri olumlu bulduğunu belirtmiş, olumsuz etkisinin olduğunu söyleyen bazı öğretmenler ise buna gerekçe olarak etkinliklerin fazla olmasının öğrencilerin yazdıkları metinlere geri bildirim vermeyi engellediğini ve yazma kaygısını arttırdığını söylemişlerdir.
